Chapter 128

A few weeks later, on Friday, April 3, 2043, it was WrestleMania season once again. It was the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony that evening. Then the next night it was NXT TakeOver. Then Sunday night it would be WrestleMania itself. WrestleMania 59. Next year would be WrestleMania 60 and that was going to be awesome.

With it being WrestleMania season Mercedes and Colby were there once again. With a daughter, a son, a daughter-in-law, and a son-in-law as WWE Superstars, they had taken to going to WrestleMania every year since their son-in-law was the first to be an NXT and WWE Superstar. Valerie and Derek came along with their parents. And of course, Evelyn was there in the twins and Sadie in support of her husband. Mariah came along as well. WrestleMania was not just family time for friends and family of WWE fans. It was also a great time for the family of the workers of WWE.

Katianna would be in the main event of WrestleMania that year. Since she had won the Women's Royal Rumble that year. She decided to challenge for the Raw Women's Championship. Nate would be defending the Universal Championship. Trevor and Aaron were both in heated feuds with other Superstars. Ashley wasn't competing that year. It turned out she was actually pregnant. Keagan Balor would be out of wrestling for a little bit. The WWE Universe was very suspicious because Keagan Balor hadn't performed in a while. And no one was saying why.

However, the WWE Universe had someone else of the Balor name to look to. Jaime would be making his big NXT debut on main TV. He had been performing at NXT houseshows for over a month. WWE wanted to give him a small push. The WWE Universe didn't know Finn Balor and Becky Lynch's son would be making his official NXT TV debut at NXT TakeOver that year. Jaime was a mystery opponent. His ring name was Caine Balor. Caine was an Irish name that meant son of the fighter.

"Are you nervous as Saturday is tomorrow?" Mariah asked as she sat with Jaime at the Hall of Fame Ceremony.

Mariah and Jaime had talked a lot since their night together. She had actually spent her Spring Break in Orlando with him back in March. They texted everyone and talked on the phone a few times a week. They did the long-distance relationship you could say. Jaime wasn't seeing any other women and Mariah wasn't seeing any other men.

"Yeah, I've been getting nervous. I've been excited but since show time is tomorrow night, I am nervous. Will a fuck something up?" Jaime replied.

"You'll do great! You might bare the Balor name. But you'll make a name for yourself."

"I know I can do it, because I'll have you there to watch."

"There's nowhere else I would rather be. As I can't wait to watch Kati win the Raw Women's Championship."

"Yes, I loved watching Ashley win the SmackDown Women's Championship a few years ago."

"Well, its all about Caine Balor tomorrow night. Keagan Balor is on the shelf for a bit, because she is pregnant," Mariah said.

"Perfect timing for me!" Jaime exclaimed. "I'm excited to be an uncle. But I'll give the world something to talk about. And make my parents proud."

"Yes, you will. I know I'm proud," Mariah grinned.

"A proud girlfriend, you could say?" Jaime asked.

"Yes. If you say you're my boyfriend."

"I'm all yours, Mariah!"

Mariah grinned. Jaime smiled as he leaned over and kissed her.

The next day, Mariah spent a few hours with Jaime before he had to head off to the arena for TakeOver that night. She spent the rest of the time with her family before they all would head over to the arena for TakeOver that night.

"Jaime and I made it official between each other last night," Mariah commented as she sat with her sisters as well as her two-year-old nephew, Andy on her lap.

"An official couple?" Evelyn asked as she held Sadie who was eight months old.

"Yep," Mariah replied.

"Awe," Katianna said as she had Andy's twin sister, Hannah on her lap.

"Welcome to the world of being a wrestler's girlfriend," Evelyn commented.

"I called us something to myself these past few months," Mariah said. "Because I haven't seen anyone else or really talked to anyone else. When I'm not at home with everyone, I'm at school or I'm studying. Throughout the day, Jaime and I are texting. Then we'll talk at night on the phone a few times a week. Then for him he's busy with training and all that. I know he hasn't been talking to anyone else or seeing anyone else."

"You either make the time to go out or you don't make the time to go out," Katianna commented. "I made the time to go out and I met Darren. After we broke up, I hung out with friends and others from the Performance Center. They were all I wanted to really spend time with. Then things between me and Nate happened."

"I think Jaime made the time to go out," Evelyn started. "But then his other time would be talking to you. Trevor was that way before I moved out to Orlando to go to school. He spent time with friends from the Performance Center. Then we would talk on the phone afterward."

"I have done that with Jaime. He's told me he's been out with friends when he's calling me or when we're texting back and forth later at night or whenever," Mariah said.

"He's all yours, Mariah," Katianna said. "And he has been."

Mariah smiled.

Later that night, Mercedes and Colby as well as Derek and Valerie sat in the crowd with Becky, Fergal, Lexi, Ashley and Aaron. Evelyn and Trevor with their children sat with Mariah. Katianna and Nate sat front row. Nate was the reigning Universal Champion and defending his title tomorrow night at WrestleMania. Katianna was the number one contender for the Raw Women's Championship.

Jaime's opponent, Bash Stuart made his way to the ring. Once Bash made his entrance and was in the ring. It was time for Caine Balor to make his official debut. The arena went dark. A heartbeat played. Then the beginning of a mix of Finn Balor's theme began to play. The theme played for fourteen seconds. It stopped. It played a different mix to it. The name Caine Balor appeared on the Titantron. The lights came on and there was Cain Balor, a spinning image of his father, Finn Balor.

Caine wanted everyone to know who he was, but he was going to make his own name.

Once the match began, Bash was quick to get a hold of his opponent. He wanted to make this quick and easy. But it wasn't going to be quick and easy. Nope, Caine was going to show what he got with Finn Balor's and Becky Lynch's blood running through his veins. He was going to be even better than his older sister, Keagan Balor.

Mercedes and Colby enjoyed watching the match. They both would look over at Becky and Fergal a lot. Becky and Fergal were so excited to see their son in the ring. They would talk to each other, loving how Jaime countered maneuvers and got his hands-on Bash. Ashley and Aaron did the same thing. Lexi was there as a proud older sister as she had been a proud younger sister since her big sister, Ashley was a WWE Superstar too.

Mariah sat with Hannah in her lap. Mariah loved watching Jaime in the ring. Hannah enjoyed the action in the ring too. She loved the rowdiness of the crowd. She and Andy had both been in a wrestling ring. They would be taken in the ring by their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles to have some fun.

"Here is your winner, Caine Balor!"

Caine Balor stood victorious in the ring. The referee raised his arm in the air.

The crowd cheered loudly for him. It was everything Jaime had wanted.

The next night it was WrestleMania…

"Here is your winner, Arick Rollins!"

The crowd cheered as Arick stood victorious in the ring. He had fought a long hard match with his opponent.

The camera went backstage. Standing in front of a TV monitor was Keagan Balor. She smiled as her husband had just picked up the win of his opponent.

"Keagan," A voice said.

Keagan smiled as she turned to a backstage interviewer.

"Keagan, you wanted to see me."

"I did," Keagan replied. "I have something to say and I want the whole world to know."

"What is that?"

"Well, the WWE Universe hasn't seen me compete in quite a while."

"Yes, why is that?"

"Well, as of today, I am thirteen weeks pregnant," Keagan said, putting both hands on her stomach.

"Congratulations!"

"Yes, I won't be competing for quite a while. I am very happy for this, because I am going to be a mom. But there is one more thing I have to say. To my sister-in-law, Katianna Rollins, I wish you the best of luck in your match for the Raw Women's Championship and in the WrestleMania main event. You deserve it! And no matter what your feelings have been toward me all these years, we are family still. I am married to your brother. This child I'm carrying is your niece or nephew. And just know that I love you!"

Keagan looked at the interviewer with a smile.

"Thank you, Keagan."

Keagan nodded her head and walked away.

Later in the night, it was finally time for the main event. The current Raw Women's Champion was named Alyssa. Keagan had defeated her a few years back in NXT to become the NXT Women's Champion. Alyssa made her way to the ring, showing off her championship belt. She was not afraid of her opponent. She had loved taking on Keagan a few years back and taunting her by trash talking about the Four Horsewomen. Alyssa was going to do that again tonight.

Next Katianna made her way to the ring.

Its your time, Katianna! Its time to make your family even prouder of you!

When the match got under way, Alyssa started smack talking. Katianna walked right up to her and started smack talking too. Alyssa slapped Katianna across the face. It was to provoke her. It did. Katianna attacked Alyssa with some punches.

Mercedes and Colby proudly sat in the crowd with Evelyn with her kids as well as Mariah, Valerie and Derek. Aaron, Ashley, Trevor, and Nate were watching backstage.

Later in the match, Alyssa had Katianna down.

"Come on, Kati!" Alyssa exclaimed. "You have Sasha Banks and Seth Rollins's blood running through your body! Show me what you got! Show me your just as great as your mentor, Charlotte Flair. Well, you're no better than any of them! You're worthless! And somewhere I know your little sister and brother are in the crowd and someday they will be worthless like you."

Katianna hit Alyssa for that. Alyssa hit her back. She had her still.

"I got you?! Does that upset you?!" Alyssa hit Katianna couple more times. "You're gonna lose here tonight! You're going to be a disappointment to your nieces and nephew when they're older. Just like you're a disappointment to your parents and your big sister, Evelyn."

Katianna hit Alyssa this time. She had had enough. She got the upper hand of the match, taking it to Alyssa. Alyssa fought back, trying to get hold of the match again. Katianna kept hold of it, though. Alyssa went for Katianna. Katianna dodged her. Alyssa turned around to face Katianna for the miss. Katianna nailed Alyssa suddenly with a roundhouse kick. (A kick to the head like Trish Stratus's finishing move, the Chick Kick.)

Katianna then moved Alyssa toward the ring posts. She climbed to the top rope. She jumped from the top rope doing a Phoenix Splash.

"Hell yeah!" Colby exclaimed seeing his daughter doing one of his favorite moves.

Katianna pinned Alyssa.

"1…2…3," The referee counted.

Ding-ding went the bell.

"Here is your winner and the new Raw Women's Champion, Katianna Rollins!"

Katianna smiled as she stood up and the referee raised her arm in the air. She celebrated. The referee handed her, her title. Katianna happily took it. She held it in her hands and pressed her head into it.

This is yours, Kati! This championship is yours! Your mom held this championship as well as Aunt Ashley.

Katianna looked over at Alyssa, who was still in the ring and slowly coming around. Alyssa was on her feet. Katianna suddenly nailed her from behind with the championship belt. Alyssa went down. Katianna grabbed onto her. She got in her face.

"Don't you ever mention my little brother or sister again. As well as my nieces and nephew."

Katianna released Alyssa. She then left the ring. Katianna held the title up in the air, slowly backing up the ramp.

A few minutes later, Katianna was backstage. The first person she went to was Paul Levesque, Triple H.

"Great job," Paul said, hugging her.

"Thank you," Katianna said.

"Having seen you win this championship as I did your mother is great."

"Agreed."

Paul smiled. He hugged Katianna one more time.

Katianna turned her attention to Nate. He quickly scooped her off her feet. Katianna giggled as she wrapped her legs and one arm around him. He hugged her tightly as he held her up.

"You did great out there, baby," Nate commented.

"Thank you," Katianna said.

"I have something for you."

"Ooh, I love presents."

"You'll love this."

Katianna untangled herself around her boyfriend. Nate let her stand on her own feet. "What is it?" Katianna asked with a smile.

Nate grinned. He pulled a box out of his pocket. He opened it up and dropped down on one knee.

"Oh, my God!" Katianna squealed.

People were watching and started cheering. Aaron, Ashley, and Trevor were nearby. Trevor was recording it for them.

"Katianna Lopez aka Katianna Rollins, will you do me the honor and become my wife?" Nate asked.

"Hell yes!" Katianna exclaimed.

Everyone clapped for them. Nate smiled as he got to his feet. Katianna smiled, still holding her championship belt. She held her left hand out for Nate. He placed the ring on her finger. The two hugged and kissed.

That was one of the best days of Katianna's life.
