Chapter 4 Awakening and Discussions part 1
Harry was awoken by a noise and looked down at the end of his bed. A woman and a young girl were standing there. He would guess that the younger female was a year or two younger than himself. Upon waking, Harry was uncertain about where he was. His first action was to search for his wand; after searching in his pocket for some time and failing to locate it, he became a little anxious and looked to the side to see Sirius lying on a bed beside him.
While Harry was looking at the two females in the room, Sirius awoke; turning to look at Harry, Sirius saw him awake and staring at two women. Sirius took a closer look at the two females on the other side of the room. "Lily?" That was the question that poured from Sirius's mouth.
When Lily heard her name, she turned around and smiled at Sirius and Harry. "Yes, Sirius, it is me; after I have given you a last medical checkup, I can explain." Lilly stared at her son, whose face was filled with shock.
In the meantime, James walked into the room, "Prongs, what is going on here? Apparently, it is Lil's intention to explain everything after we have had a final medical, Despite the both of you being supposedly dead." A sigh escaped James' lips. "Please just wait a few minutes, Pad's. I promise you'll get everything explained."
James walked over to Lily and examined the PADS to ensure Harry and Sirius's welfare. Now that they'd been completely healed and were ready for DNA manipulation It was also time for them to hear the explanation: James decided that he would give the explanation first.
"Sirius, Harry, Let's move into a room that is more comfortable first; I would appreciate it if you followed me. I Think Our conversation should take place in Lily's and my personal rooms." Having said that, James turned and left the room. Sirius and Harry followed each other out of the room and exchanged glances. After letting out a sigh, Lily followed behind the three men. Linking mentally with the Atlantis AI, Lily requested the AI dampen the use of Zero Point Energy in their quarters. Thus, even if Harry or Sirius got upset, at least there would be limited damage.
As Harry walked through the corridors, it was like the metal was a kind of blue hue that Harry could only stare at. There were strangely shaped lights on the pillars in the corridors that appeared to be chevron-shaped. As for the floor, it was like a pale beige grey metal with a path of orange geometric diamonds down the hallway's middle. In the past twenty-four hours, so much had happened. His mind was spinning, or at least what he believed to be twenty-four hours.
To begin with, Voldemort and his death eaters had tricked him into believing that they had Sirius In the Department of Mysteries and that they were torturing him. Then he and his friends attempted to save his godfather by rushing to the Ministry on the back of the thestrals. Finding out it was a trap when they arrived, Fighting with the death eaters, and his friends getting hurt by the death eaters in the process. After that, there was the primary fight in the room with the weird Arch in it, him then seeing his godfather fall through the Arch but not come out the other side.
After that, he followed Bellatrix through the corridors of the Ministry of Magic after she killed Sirius to get his revenge on her. Following this, there was the fight between Voldemort and Dumbledore and then his turning back of time in an attempt to try and save his godfather. Finally, him jumping through the Arch after him and seeing his supposedly dead parents before him before passing out.
Then awaking upon a weird-looking bed, Sirius was on a bed beside him and again his supposedly dead mother at the end of the bed, apparently alive and well. Then his father walked into the room and asked them to follow him seriously; what the hell was wrong with his life? Could he not actually have just one normal year?.
As Harry and Sirius entered Lily's private quarters, they inspected their surroundings. As they looked around, toys and clothes were all around; it was not clean and spotless like Petunia had kept her house or like the Blacks had kept Grimmauld Place before they died. There seemed to be more people living in and around here than just Lily and James.
It seemed as if after that Halloween night, they had just abandoned him, without a second thought, and moved on with their lives. It appeared that he now had siblings who were all younger than him and that they had actually grown up with their parents. Harry felt that to his so-called parents, he was expendable and replaceable.
Sirius was shocked to find that his brother and his wife were alive and had more children. His heart sank when he realised they had left him to suffer each day while they lived their lives.
James was anxious. He didn't know how Harry and Sirius would react to the news. After sitting in the chair in front of the two couches, James waited for Harry and Sirius to take their seats.
"I just want to apologise to you both. I know how this looks, and the explanation will sound even more bizarre, but please allow me to explain. This all began with a prophecy; from there, things spiralled quickly. Harry, you may or may not know how things got started. However, you, Sirius, know the basics."
In the beginning was the Prophecy, which said, 'The one with the Power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... Born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have Power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... The one with the Power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies…'. There were two pregnant members of the order at this time, and both were due to give birth at the end of July. Clearly, the first was Lily, and the second was Alice Longbottom." The two men in front of James were looking at him when James stopped. James was observing them to see how they were reacting to the Prophecy. The look on Harry's face suggested that he was trying to work things out, but Sirius looked almost ready to kill.
"Sirius, you are aware we were attacked multiple times after Harry was born, to the point that, like Frank and Alice Longbottom, we went into hiding under the Fidelius charm. Then, at the beginning of October 1981, five people appeared in our lounge in Godric's Hollow. The names of these five people are Pythia, Pandora, Clymene, Minos, and Aiolos; however, they turned out not to be people per se but higher-order beings."
"All five of these beings were related to Lily or me in some way. Pythia is a Seer and one of the most powerful of all time. Over ten thousand years ago, she saw what was to happen, and she decided that if that ever happened, she would intervene even if it violates their most basic laws."
"In the days following their appearance in our lounge, we devised a plan which was put into effect. They took a DNA sample from both Lily and me, then created two clones, one for each of us. In the meantime, the clones were switched out with us. Lily and I then lived on a ship in a geosynchronous orbit above our home in Godric's Hollow."
"On the night Voldemort attacked, we watched, but we couldn't intervene. Lily wanted to intervene then, but Pythia prevented her. Had we intervened, Voldemort would have been revived and taken over within two years."
"As a result of allowing the events to unfold as they did, nearly fifteen years of peace have been enjoyed by the Wizarding world. After seeing Hagrid take Harry and you, Sirius go after Peter, we left Earth. We were warned that if we remained, Magicks could have been used to tell we were still alive, preventing things from going as planned."
"Sirius, Harry, what no one knew at the time of the attack was that Lily was pregnant. She gave birth to a beautiful girl named Holly Lily Potter on the 27th of June 1982. After all that had happened, we retreated to the Pegasus Galaxy, which lies near the Milky Way where Earth is located. It is here where we studied under the five Ascended beings as they really are; the grands are what we call them. Initially, our DNA was altered to contain 100% Alteran DNA, as they were the ancestors of our race. In the process of altering our DNA, we gained the ability to live longer, control Magic more closely, and cast more powerful spells."
"We spent a long time setting up things after having been here a few years; we went back in time before the Ministry of Magic was founded. We built the first chambers; we added the veil of death upon completing the first chambers and left the first Floo. Then we left them with instructions on how to use the Floo. Pytha left the first Prophecy, and this is what it says:
'The dog and phoenix shall disappear through cloth,
Both Shall appear in the land of the Flying Horse,
When light and dark, Are both ruled by darkness,
Phoenix shall return to the land of his birth,
After the turning of time,
In which he shall destroy both darkness and light.'
This Prophecy is about you both; we could not do anything more until you were both here."
A shocked Sirius looked at James, aware that a prophecy had been made when Harry was born but unaware of what it said.
"Seriously, James, that Prophecy is utter, utter bullshit. Are you aware of how many possible interpretations there are for that? For a start, 'The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches' could mean anything; the main word in this is Approaches which could mean nearing, coming, entering, landing, Advancing. Then we have Vanquish. This could have several meanings: defeat, drive away, kill, frustrate, and is it talking about physical, ideological, beliefs, philosophies?"
"The next line 'Born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies. Defied could mean anything Disregard, Ignored, Defeated, Mock, Elude, Flout and many more. The Seventh month could be any time of the year. Going by the Gregorian calendar is July; what about the seventh month of the school year, April. What about the Chinese calendar, which runs from February to January, making it August. Or even the financial year which runs from April to April that would make it November."
"Next 'and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal' How will he be marked? Is it Physical, Emotional, Mental, Verbally? . 'but he will have Power the Dark Lord knows not. Well, this counts out anyone who has Studied at Hogwarts, as anything learned by the one Voldemort would already know as he studied at Hogwarts. Also, Power could mean anything Physical, Mental, Intellectual, Magical, Economical, Political, Military, Electrical, Nuclear, Athletic, Persuasive, Charisma, Logic, Sexual, Romantic, deceptive and the list could go on."
"'and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives…' The only thing you take from it is that one has to kill the other. But then again, if you read, you would think of people who had ordered other people to do it. Imagine if Harry sent me a note telling me that he wanted me to kill Voldemort - he would die by his hand, would he not?."
"Lastly, we have 'The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies, which is just a repeat of the first two lines anyway." Then he sat back and looked at the stunned James sitting there, with his mouth hanging open in shock and Lily's face was filled with horror as she stared at Sirius, and Harry just smirked.
"Why dear godfather, I do believe you have shocked them, want to have some fun with the other prophecy as well?" was Harry's smart-alec response to his godfather. In the meantime, he stared at his parents. There was one thing Harry knew: his parents believed and trusted way too easily.
"Oh Godfather, master Padfoot does that mean I could take the Prophecy like this? Old Voldy asks Mr Malfoy to get something for him, but Mr Malfoy doesn't do it. Another time old Voldy orders Mr Malfoy to murder someone; Mr Malfoy, instead, obliviates them and sends them abroad. Old Voldy shorts has been denied what he desired twice now by Mr Malfoy. Voldy demands something from Mr Malfoy a third time, and again Mr Malfoy does not comply; before all of this, Voldy says Malfoy, my good right-hand man, your son shall be my Heir. Oh, look now, Malfoy Junior is the prophesied one."
In shock, Lily and James both looked at Harry, realising they shouldn't have listened to Dumbledore. They were even told by Pythia that Trelawney was not a gifted seer and that she only had one or two accurate Prophecies. It would seem that her prophecies came true, but they were more based on one's decisions than anything else. So it should be noted that the Prophecy she made was based on Dumbledore and, unbeknown to him, also Snape's actions and decisions.
