ON HIATUS: When Harry supports Hermione after Ron treats her horribly in POA despite literally having NO right to be angry at or upset with her, it leads Harry and the world down a different road. Always remember that Hagrid was right on the money with his correct perspective that Ron should value his friend more than rats. FRIENDS SHOULD ALWAYS BE VALUED ABOVE PETS! NO EXCEPTIONS!

85. AN: A HIATUS

Dear readers of A Different Path.

As of the night of April 3rd, 2022, I am taking a two month break from all FFN writing activities through June 3rd, 2022. I had originally planned a work related hiatus that would have begun two weeks later. However, I have made the decision to begin my hiatus early due to feeling mentally burnt out on writing and feeling it best for me to take a full two month break from it. The future of a Different Path is that it will be a high priority thread when I resume my FFN writing activities and will be updated anywhere from once a month to once a week starting in June. When A Different Path resumes, the next chapter will introduce the exchange students from Beauxbatons who are visiting Hogwarts for the month of October 1994. In the meantime, I'd like to thank all FFN members who have read, favored, or followed A Different Path. For those of you whose paths have made you expectant fathers, good luck on naming your sons and daughters. We'll start traveling this path together again in June.
