Chapter 12: The Cell Games!

At the lone deserted island, with only two people visible from the sky. The dust settled from the big fight that took place between beings capable of blowing up planets. Down with the two Super Saiyans, Itachi and Trunks, Itachi stood there with a blank stoic expression as he saw Trunks showing his Vegeta side. "AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!" Trunks exploded in rage, his Super Saiyan glow flaring through the skies as golden lights.

Itachi let out a sigh, always getting headaches when dealing with Vegeta's temper tantrums, seeing Trunks throwing one sure confirmed that he was Vegeta's son. "Take a deep breath in…" Itachi instructed to which Trunks complied taking in a deep breath. "Hold it there…" Itachi said and Trunka nodded having gained a mentor like view of Itachi during the fight against Cell. "And a few minutes later, your face will turn blue, then everything will turn black, and then you will relax."

Trunks gave Itachi a deadpan stare before taking a breath out. "My image of you just went down a little bit." Trunks commented and Itachi merely gave him a shrug with his shoulders.

"Saiyan blood my boy, Saiyan blood. You get used to it." Itachi replied while inside himself thinking. 'I sure did.' Thinking back how much his attitude changed since he became a Saiyan. The boiling Saiyan blood made it easier for him to get riled up over the smallest things he usually would just ignore in his old life.

"Jeez, seems he is taking it pretty rough." Krillin flew in with the recovered Saiyan prince, Vegeta looked upon the scene and felt the remaining energy left from the intense battle. Vegeta's eyes turned to Trunks whom had recent made dust clouds blown around him from his temper tantrum earlier.

"It's pathetic. Find some honor in defeat, for God's sake." Vegeta saw an image of his old self from Trunks, and he did not like it one bit, it irritated him to no end.

"View must be great from that glass house of yours…" Krillin commented to which Vegeta sent him a threatening stare. "W-We should go check on them."

Trunks looked up at his father and bald friend, and then looked away in shame. "I-I'm such a fool… Itachi had to carry me through the end of the fight. Cell, h-he just toyed with me! I couldn't do anything!" Trunks dug his fists into the ground, staining his white gloves with the dirt from the ground. "And in the end, I wasn't important enough to kill."

"Sucks, doesn't it?! I mean, sucks to be you! Yeah that was it." Vegeta corrected himself remembering a moment from his past that annoyed him.

"Vegeta, I already know, your son knows how it feels, and the bald one is not important." Itachi commented knowing what Vegeta was feeling and thinking about.

"Yeah, it's just me guys. Krillin, everyone's friend." The bald little dwarf human assured.

"I don't know what you are talking about…" Vegeta ignored the question and took off into the sky. "Let's go already!" Vegeta shouted seeing as there was no reason for them to stay here anymore.

"You heard his royal highness, let's go." Itachi said sarcastically as they all took off at full speed after the Saiyan Prince back to the lookout.

Meanwhile, the android menace named Cell flew over a landscape looking for a prefect spot, for his perfectionistic mind. He hummed in a classic cheerful tone, as he annihilated a farm with a family in the blink of an eye to make a giant hole in the ground. Cell then levitated up a mountain, and swiftly moved his hand in a square fashion.

The mountain then dissolved into a perfectly fine marble white cube. Cell widened his eyes sending a surge of energy into the cube, dividing it into multiple equal shape squares. He sent each square plate flying towards the hole he made filling it up, making a perfect square shaped arena. "Ah, yes the perfect place to hold my Cell Games!" He smirked with glee over the plot he was planning for this world and its champions. He then took off, for stage 2 of his plans.

Back to our heroes, up in the sky watching over the world, was the floating temple known as Kami's Lookout. Itachi, Vegeta, Trunks and Krillin all came flying out from the sky, the three Saiyans coming in landing at such force that they made a sound, that sounded they tore through the sky. "Looks like they are back." The green namekian Piccolo commented standing with the three eyed human Tien and the red skinned alien Jeice.

"We know what happened, and besides discovering Vegeta and Trunks really are father and son. All I can say, is that you tried your best, now we have to prepare for whatever that android has planned." Tien commented which earned him a growl from Vegeta and an apologetic look from Trunks.

"Still, that monster managed to become perfect even without 18." Itachi clicked his tongue and noticed that Goku and Gohan were still in the time chamber.

"Dr. Gero was a genius, it is only natural he would have a plan B. But to think that plan was 16." Trunks commented with a shameful look that they weren't able to find anything like that on the blueprints of the androids.

"But hey, good job on blowing up that other android." Tien commented to Itachi referring to 18, which made Itachi clench his fists. "At least you managed to do what needed to be done."

"I didn't enjoy it. She's not as evil as you all believed." Itachi said to which everyone gave him a confused look.

"Eh, but Captain, she and her brother killed everyone in the future." Jeice pointed out to which Trunks nodded in agreement.

"Yes, in a parallel future where there were only supposed to be two androids, and what did we have? Five! We had five, well six counting Cell. Goku is not dead, none of us are dead, and there weren't any reports of 18, 17, and 16 killing anyone since they awoke." Itachi listed everything wrong with Trunks' predictions for this future, showing how things in this timeline was way different from Trunks' future. "And the way she cried as I held her in my arms before I blew her up… shows me, that she is not as evil as you all think. True she is a little rebellious, strict, strong, have emotionless deep blue eyes…"

"Captain, we get it." Jeice stopped Itachi from going further, and everyone seemed to understand what he was getting at, some didn't like it of course.

"She's still a washing machine." Vegeta commented.

"Whom broke your arm, I have liked her ever since." Itachi retorted gaining a few snickers from people as they saw Vegeta mumbling while cursing Itachi. "Anyway, how long are the father and son duo going to stay in the chamber?"

"A little longer." The black genie Popo appeared out of nowhere right behind Itachi spoking him a little bit. "You maggots can choose to stay here or not, I don't give a shit."

"W-Well… let's go to the turtle man's house." Jeice suggested, feeling a little creeped out by Popo, and flew off.

"Wait for me!" Krillin shortly followed.

"I suppose I should go." Itachi and Vegeta also took of not feeling like standing around and just waiting for Goku and Gohan.

A few minutes later

After speeding through the sky and over the blue clear ocean, they arrived at the small island with the little pink house of master Roshi. "Looks like we're here!" Jeice declared as they flew lower. "Wonder how Launch woman's been doin'?" Jeice questioned and his question was answered from a shriek that came from the house.

"I can't believe I am back in this dump! Stay back old man!" Launch was heard shouting obviously in her blond state. The next they heard the terrifying screams of Master Roshi and the others, and the sound of machine gun fire.

"Seems she is doing fine." Krillin commented at the sound of the commotion.

"Jeice, you are right, she is a strange one." Itachi looked towards his red skinned alien friend. They entered the house to see it was mostly covered in bullet holes, and a panting Launch standing on the coffee table holding a machine gun. While the terrified Master Roshi, the pig Oolong, and the cat Puar, backed up against the wall.

"You!" Launch pointed at Jeice. "You brought me back here with these idiots!"

"I-Is that a problem?" Jeice questioned looking dumbfounded, as Launch pulled out a shotgun and shot Jeice in the forehead.

"Your damn right it's a problem!" Launch screamed at Jeice, whom rubbed his sore forehead.

"Ow, that felt like a Space Australian Hornets sting." As soon as the commotion was over, they all gathered around to discuss what to do whenever Cell decides to show himself. Bulma eventually arrived to look after her baby from the future, after everything he went through against the battle with Cell. Despite everything being fine, and Bulma awkwardly trying to be a parent to her eighteen-year-old son from the future, while holding the same son as an infant in her arms.

During the discussion, and a couple of insults from Vegeta towards Krillin and Yamcha, and of Roshi and Oolong sitting by the television watching young women doing workouts. "You do know there is actual porn on the internet, right?" Oolong looked at the old turtle hermit.

"Pig, you gotta be able to appreciate the classics. It is what separates the pervs from the connoisseurs…" Roshi's television workout program was swiftly interrupted as Cell popped up from the floor underneath the women on the television, scaring the turtle hermit and the pig so that they backed up screaming while holding each other.

They all gathered around the television as they saw Cell move up to the next floor of the building. "Roshi! Change the channel!" Krillin said and they then swatted to channel after channel, seeing Cell pop up on the screen, flying up to the next floor, from the cocking channel, to a drama, and finally the news.

Cell grabbed the news anchor by the throat and lifted him up with a devilish smirk on his face. "The following contains violence, coarse language and adult situations not suitable for minors. Viewer discretion is advised." Cell declared humoredly as he applied such pressure in his grip, that the news anchor man's head split open like a watermelon.

"Woohoo! Brutal!" Chiaotzu commented, and everyone ignored him paying attention to the screen.

"Ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls, and that technicolor rainbow in-between. I… am Perfect Cell. You may remember me from the following cities." Cell said as various city names scrolled up the screen which the monster had attacked. "Of course if you lived in those cities, you won't remember, because you are now part of my biomass as I absorbed you. But that's not what I'm here to talk about today. Today I am making an announcement."

"Please be leaving the planet forever. Please be leaving the planet forever." Krillin kept repeating it in a pleading hopeful tone.

"I am leaving the planet forever!" Cell declared, which earned a whoohoo from Krillin. "After I blow it up."

"Oh no!"

"Unless…" Cell smirked as Krillin gasped earning him a smack in the back of the head from Vegeta. "One of your planet's champions can best me in one-on-one combat! I am officially hosting a once-in-your-lifetime event! A tournament so grand, it'll leave you breathless! I hereby dub it, The Cell Games! For all of you familiar with your adorable little World Martial Arts Tournament, I'll be borrowing the rules. No brackets this time, yours truly will be your only opponent. And much like Vegeta's mother, I will accept all comers." Cell gave a wink knowing Vegeta was watching this somewhere.

"How dare…" Vegeta gritted his teeth at the tv-screen wanting to blow it up to pieces.

"Well, she did accept King Vegeta." Itachi and his Saiyan blood couldn't afford to miss out on that.

"How dare you…." Vegeta's anger was now directed at Itachi ready to pummel him to the ground, he even took off his shirt.

"Why did you take off your shirt?" Krillin questioned the Saiyan Prince's actions.

"Shush, he is continuing." Itachi silenced any further conversation as they all looked at the screen.

"The location of this marvelous event is 28KS.5. If you don't know where that is, blame the cartographers. The games will start at noon, two weeks from today. That should give you plenty of time to prepare! Or for those not participating, time to connect with loved ones, get your affairs in order, or maybe just kill your boss. Get a purge going! Live a little, because in two weeks' time… well to give you an idea…" Cell directed his hand at the logo of the news station which was a planet, and sent a ki blast into it, tearing through the wall and the streets of the city outside and blowing up a mountain. "So, keep that in mind, and I will see you in two weeks. Also, feel free to pray to your god, but spoilers, I won't be listening." Cell declared and took of into the far distance as the news station played dramatic music in the background.

The room was silent, the tension rose as the threat was clear, and they had two weeks until judgment day. The tension vanished as Roshi changed the channel into a porno. "Roshi what the hell?!" Krillin in shock questioned the turtle hermit.

"He said two weeks, I'm using it!" The perverted old man declared as the others backed away from the screen.

"But why two weeks?" Jeice questioned as even the likes of Frieza wouldn't wait that long, neither would Vegeta back in the day. Itachi narrowed his eyes, deep in thought on what that monster was thinking.

With Cell

Cell soared through the sky, as military jets were following him, not that he cared. 'Two weeks… normally I would have said one, but…' Cell thought as an image of Itachi popped up, using that strange shield to reflect Cell's own Kamehameha wave back at him, and that sword he used to seal away one of his children. 'As much as I hate to admit it, even I need training to prepare against that. And with my Saiyan cells, it should be easy to grow stronger. Just have to play a little rough with my children.' Cell smirked as he sent three sparkles sized energy blasts into the jets, blowing them up in a fiery explosion, taking in the short second of a terrified scream of the piolets in. "Music to my ears." Cell speed towards his arena, he had some work to do.

Cell's marvelous arena came into view, along with the destruction Cell caused making it. Although the scenery to the android was so beautiful that it almost brought tears to his eyes. 'Maybe I should go into design business as a hobby somewhere in space, once I'm done with this backwater planet. You know, next to my main business to bring terror and destruction.' Cell hummed at the idea.

The gracefully landed in the very center of the arena. "And here comes the uncomfortable part." Cell sighed and stretched out his tail letting out ten mini blue Cell's, Cell panted a little from having created ten more children. He turned to stare at them and smirked. "Okay children, papa needs a sparring partner, or sparring partners. I need you to focus on beating me to near death, and then I will need to heal. Luckily I have two weeks to heal." Cell declared to his cackling children. 'And by absorbing you all back I should heal quicker as well.' Cell thought with a devious smirk.

Meanwhile, with Itachi and Jeice, after having waited long enough they left the turtle hermits house and headed back to the lookout. Where the annoyed Vegeta had already gone with Trunks. Mysterious weird and creepy genie or not, Vegeta didn't want to wait around with weaklings as he called them.

"Do you think the boy and that numbskull are done yet in the chamber?!" Jeice questioned as they flew through the wind resistant sky.

"I hope so, could really want to get some training done before those so-called Cell Games start." Itachi replied as the lookout came into view, they took a quick spin before gracefully landing in front of the entrance to the chamber.

"Oh no you don't! I get dibs on the chamber!" Vegeta protested marching up Itachi whom rolled his eyes.

"I'm sorry Vegeta, but you need to be this tall for this ride." Itachi held his hand over Vegeta's ridiculous spiky long hair.

"How dare you…! As your prince, I command you!" Vegeta roared in a strong commanding voice.

"You are a prince without a kingdom. And if you had one, I still wouldn't obey you." Itachi declared, not out of lack of loyalty to his people, but out of lack of respect to the fallen Saiyan royal family.

Before another word could be said, out exited Goku and Gohan from the chamber. Their Saiyan armor torn, and both in their Super Saiyan forms. Itachi looked stunned that Gohan at such a young age had reached the legendary power. Itachi was so occupied at the young Gohan's potential that he ignored Goku mocking Vegeta's pride accidentally much to Vegeta's anger.

After some eating on Goku and Gohan's end, and changing clothes and out from their broken Saiyan armor. Goku in his usual orange gi, but Gohan had Piccolo give him a mini copy of his own. "So, are you stronger than Cell?" Trunks asked Goku.

"Good question, I'll go check." Goku smiled much to Trunks' confusion.

"I'm sorry, go check what?" Trunks questioned but before he could get an answer, Goku vanished using instant transmission.

"Well, he'll be back soon so-" Before Gohan could finish a hand grabbed him by his new cape and dragged him back into the chamber. "Wah?!" Gohan looked behind him to see Itachi whom dragged him into the chamber. "H-Hey!" Gohan was then thrown into the chamber, and Itachi closed the door behind them.

"H-Hey! That bastard!" Vegeta shouted having realized Itachi had snagged away his turn in the chamber.

"Huh, that's strange…" Piccolo commented looking a little worried about Gohan.

"C-Captain…" Jeice uttered looking taken aback and slightly hurt.

Meanwhile, with Cell. Cell threw one of his children down like a ragdoll a little away from the arena so it wouldn't get destroyed. Cell was a little bruised up and battered, he spitted out some purple blood to the side and glared at his beaten children. "Come on now, we have a lot of work to do." Cell clapped his hands encouraging his children to get back up, when that didn't work, he blew one of them up leaving no trace for it to heal back from.

"Now, those who don't get back up can easily be replaced. Remember that." Cell smirked to which his nine remaining children picked themselves back up. "Good, papa's little angels, good. Just as I expected from you. If you, fail you get punished." Cell looked at the burnt spot of one of his dead child to encourage the rest to not fail. "Now, let's continue."

"Continue what?" Goku appeared out of nowhere startling Cell.

"Wow! Jesus!" Cell exclaimed in shock.

"No, actually. It's Goku." Goku stupidly corrected.

"Need to put a bell on you." Cell uttered putting his hands on his hips.

"What?" Goku questioned in confusion.

"Nothing, I just didn't expect you for two weeks. I just got finished completing the arena over there." Cell guided Goku to the edge that gave a good view of his glorious arena. Cell put his hands on Goku's shoulder as they viewed over the arena. "Now, what do you think of our glorious battleground?"

"Eh, it okay. Looks a little small though." Goku rubbed his chin as he looked at the arena.

"I prefer intimate." Cell patted Goku's shoulder while giving him a sly smirk.

"Well, I'm not intimidated either." Goku smiled misunderstanding the words.

"Oh, but you should be. Because in it, we'll not only decide the fate of this boring blue ball of dirt and water, but the entire galaxy! So you best bring you're A-game, Son Goku. I certainly will…" Cell looked over to his beaten children taking this opportunity to take a break.

"Okay then, see you in two weeks!" Goku walked away from Cell ready to instant transmission out of there.

"It's a date."

"Yeah, I know. That is how days work." Goku vanished leaving a breeze with dust blowing through the field.

"I'm going to miss him when he's dead." Cell smirked and turned to his children to resume his training. "Okay children, hope you enjoyed your break, cause' it's the last one you will have." Cell charged towards his terrified children.

Meanwhile, inside the chamber Gohan was thrown into the empty space by Itachi, whom glared down at the boy with his arms crossed. "W-What are you doing?" Gohan questioned while glancing up at Itachi.

"In your time here, I doubt your father taught you about a certain thing." Itachi strongly looked down on Gohan.

"Wh-What's that?" Gohan fearfully questioned.

"To not hesitate, and kill your enemy." Itachi replied to which Gohan sweated a little nervously.

"B-But dad is the one who will fight-" Gohan tried to argue but was slapped across the face by Itachi sending him flat faced onto the floor.

"I don't know who you have been studying under, but with me, there are a few certain rules. Number 1, don't talk back to me. Number 2, follow my instructions. Number 3, never let your guard down. And finally, don't trust that someone will always do the dirty work for you." Itachi harshly instructed.

"B-But why me?" Gohan asked trying to shield himself in case he would get slapped again.

"Because, I see a unique potential in you. A mere child as yourself, reached this level of power. A level adult Saiyans could only dream to reach. In in a situation like this, it is all hands-on deck. Everyone, who can fight, will fight. Don't just sit on your ass and expect your dumb father to solve this for you. The worlds at stake, and someone of your level cannot, sit out on this one." Itachi lifted Gohan up by the collar, looking him dead in the eye with his Super Saiyan aura flaring, and green sharingan eyes looking into Gohan's soul.

"A-Are we going to train more?" Gohan asked but was merely thrown back onto the ground.

"No, we're only going to stay in here for a few days, maybe weeks. As long as it takes to teach you not to hold back and hesitate. Not like your father did with Frieza." Itachi instructed, to which Gohan picked himself up. "Besides, we have reached a certain level. Where growing stronger in a mere year will be too difficult. This level we are at now has to do against Cell." Itachi took a few steps back and went into a fighting stance. "Now then, go on and attack me like you wanted to kill me."

"R-Right!" Gohan nodded and powered up his Super Saiyan aura.

'Show me… Gohan, grandson of Bardock.' Itachi smirked as he blocked a punch from Gohan and kneed him in the gut causing the young boy to bend forward while vomiting out blood. "Get up." Itachi ordered.

"H-Hey… weren't you supposed… go in here with Mr. Jeice? Are you sure, he's alright with you leaving without him like that?"

"Nah, he can handle it." Itachi got silent for a moment rethinking it. "I hope…"

Meanwhile, outside of the chamber. "That insolent little weasel! Snatching up my spot in the chamber! Doesn't he realize I need to train if we want to destroy Cell?!"

"To be fair, if he gets stronger, we can still beat Cell." Tien commented.

"The captain took the boy, instead of me… I'm strong enough to keep up with him… so why didn't he take me?" Jeice muttered while sulking in a corner.

Then to their surprise Goku popped out of nowhere. "Yeah, okay he is strong. I mean VERY strong. And it seems he is also training, so we have our work cut out for us."

"What?!" Trunks questioned in terror at the news.

"Even more reason for me getting my turn in the chamber!" Vegeta declared, still outraged.

"Uhh, hey, where's Gohan?" Goku noticed his son was missing.

"Itachi grabbed him and went into the chamber." Piccolo replied.

"Huh? Why would he do that? Gohan is plenty of strong enough." Goku raised a brow in confusion. "How long have they been in there?"

"Around 25 minutes." Popo replied.

Then back into the chamber, Gohan was knocked on his ass again, having been in here for about a week now. "You still hesitate." Itachi sighed at Gohan's behavior, and Gohan looked up with an apologetic look.

"I-I'm sorry, but I can't just hurt you." Gohan apologized.

"Look, you cannot hesitate. Friend or foe, there might come a time when you face some "friend" that now is against you. And then you cannot hesitate, you have to be ready to do what's needed, you have to be ready and prepared for anything. You hesitate, you die, or worse someone you love dies." Itachi strongly scolded the young Saiyan hybrid, while old painful memories came back into Itachi's mind.

Gohan looked down with a conflicted look, clenching his fists. "I'm sorry… B-But I can't really fight… I'm a pacifist! I don't like fighting! So I'm sorry!"

Itachi looked in deep thought at that word, pacifist, a word that seemed to serve little meaning to him now. A word he had forgotten during his brutal times on Planet Vegeta, and in the Frieza Force. He remembered, a foolish young man, whom hated fighting and war, but he would fight if needed. Those peaceful ideals of his ironically lead to a life of suffering, the young man's ideals having been used against him by a corrupt power. He was of course thinking about himself, from a different lifetime.

"I don't expect you to understand that…to you, a Saiyan raised on Planet Vegeta, that must seem like a weakness to you." Gohan clenched his fists while looking into the void of the time chamber.

"I understand… more than you realize." Itachi uttered to which Gohan widened his eyes at hearing that. "Your grandmother, Gine, she was just like you. She hated fighting… yet she was a Saiyan. Luckily for you, you don't have to face the discrimination and ridicule she faced. Well, she at least had your grandfather and my parents to back her up."

Gohan looked intrigued, he looked up in awe at seeing Itachi looking so understanding. "Hating to fight… hating conflict… is fine and all. To tell you the truth, there was a time I also hated all that. But that me was beaten out of me by the Frieza Force. However, I still remember, back when I held those ideals. That hating fighting and all that is alright… but, you still need to be willing to fight if the situation calls for it. Life is cruel, and you will be forced to fight one day. When that time comes, you need to be willing to do what needs to be done."

Gohan looked like he started to ease up, he knew he had to be ready to fight. But a part of him still held him back, a part of him wanted to avoid fighting all together. Gohan took a few deep breaths and stood back up. "…" He didn't say a word and just glanced up at Itachi.

"Try again, attack me." Itachi instructed, and Gohan did just that. Itachi blocked every strike Gohan fiercely threw at him. Gohan then threw a punch which Itachi blocked with his arms held in an x-formation. Although then Gohan delivered a quick drop kick pushing Itachi's arms down. Gohan raised his fist to cease this opportunity to deliver a punch to Itachi's face.

Although as Gohan's fist was closing in on Itachi's face, he fearfully closed his eyes and halted his punch mere inches away from Itachi. "No!" Itachi slapped Gohan into the ground for his hesitation. "You are supposed to strike me, right now I am not your friend. I am your enemy! You are supposed to hit me, beat me!"

"I-I'm sorry but… this is too much for me. Even Mr. Piccolo wasn't this strict when training me." Gohan pleaded for mercy on the scolding and went on his knees.

"… Kid, you think I am strict? You don't know strict. My teacher, was strict. He is the one who taught me this very lesson I am trying to teach you." Itachi kicked Gohan in the gut sending him crashing into the wall of the time chamber. "Whenever I was down, he would scold me like this, to make me stronger and into a better warrior. If I didn't get back up, he would beat me until I did. Do you know, who my teacher was?" Itachi asked the growling Gohan, holding his hands over his stomach, aching in pain.

"N-No…" Gohan replied.

"Your grandfather, Bardock. He trained me, and now I will train you." Itachi lifted Gohan up and looked him dead in the eye. Gohan looked stunned, Itachi was giving him the same teachings his father's father gave him. Bringing the young Saiyan closer to his Saiyan heritage and to know what his grandfather was like. Itachi smiled seeing the new determination glowing in Gohan's eyes. "Now, continue." Itachi threw Gohan down and went into a fighting stance.

Outside, Vegeta stood with his arms crossed, tapping his fingers in anticipation of getting his turn. It had now been 50 minutes since Itachi grabbed Gohan and went into the chamber, and according to Popo that equaled to two weeks in there. "Man, I hope they finish soon, I promised ChiChi I would have Gohan back for dinner." Goku sat next to Piccolo while rooking back and forth. "You've taken your turn in the chamber yet Piccolo?"

"No, I haven't." Piccolo replied while meditating.

"I'm next!" Vegeta shouted standing in front of the door where Jeice sat sulking. "Where's the boy?" Vegeta looked around for his son from the future, yet he was nowhere to bee seen, or sensed in the area.

"He went home to his mother." Popo stated as he walked up to the door. "Hmm, looks like they are done." Popo said and the door to the chamber opened, and out walked a smiling Gohan and Itachi, whom had some of his armor torn.

"Hey, son!" Goku waved and jumped over to Gohan and Itachi. "Did you have fun?" Goku looked at his son, whom smiled back at his father giving the peace sign.

"We had a blast!" Gohan said and suddenly the slightly tears in his clothing were repaired by Piccolo. "Thank you, Mr. Piccolo." Gohan smiled at his green namekian friend.

"Mm, don't mention it." Piccolo smiled a little and then turned to Itachi, giving him a glare. "What did you teach him in there? And why is your armor that torn compared to Gohan?"

"I gave the boy a few free punches." Itachi replied to the second question, and for the first one he turned to look at Goku. "And as for what I taught him, I taught him some values… nothing more." Itachi walked past them, although was halted by Gohan grabbing his hand.

"Mr. Itachi… thank you for the lesson. I-I will try and work on it." Gohan gave a respectful bow to the older Saiyan.

"… Don't mention it kid. Just make sure you take that lesson to heart." Itachi, then noticed the sulking Jeice in the corner next to the door to the Hyberbolic Time Chamber. "Did he not take it well?"

"Not really…" Piccolo replied with a little sweat drop.

Vegeta noticed the namekian was distracted talking to Itachi and the clown. He could take his turn now, a turn that was taken from him by Itachi. But his training partner, Trunks was nowhere to be seen. He needed something to punch in there or else he might go mad. He then looked from the corner of his eyes and saw the sulking Jeice, and a smirk creeped up on his face. Vegeta grabbed the sulking alien by the collar of his armor and dragged him with him.

"Huh?" Jeice went out from his sulking pity mind, realizing what was happening. "Wait…! What?! Not you, you damn troll! Let me go!" Jecie tried to struggle out from Vegeta's grip but to no avail.

"Oh, I will show you troll, you sun burned freak!" Vegeta smirked and dragged Jeice into the chamber with him.

"It's natural!" Jeice managed to shout before Vegeta slammed the door shut behind them, making the last thing Itachi and the others see, Vegeta's devilish smirk.

"D-Do you guys think he will be alright…?" Gohan asked looking a little concerned for the red skinned alien.

"If he isn't, we could always use the dragon balls." Goku shrugged his shoulders.

"No, we can't. Kami is gone, and without him no dragon balls." Gohan pointed out the hole in his father's logic. "Oh! Dang it, we live in a world without the dragon balls!" Gohan realized the seriousness of the situation now.

"We could always use the Namekian dragon balls." Itachi pointed out, planning to use them to revive 18.

"Hey, maybe we can convince a namekian to become our new guardian, and make us some dragon balls." Gohan suggested with a beaming hopeful smile.

"Problem, we don't know where the new Planet Namek is located. Also, not every namekian knows how to make dragon balls, you need a namekian from the dragon clan." Piccolo revealed, and the next moment Goku vanished using instant transmission.

Goku then popped out of nowhere with a high-pitched squealing, shocked Dende. "Is this a dragon whatsit?"

"Where am I?! Who are you?! Where is my family?!" Dende questioned looking around, and spotted two familiar faces. "Gohan… Krillin… hey." Dende smiled and they began catching up. "Okay, let me get this straight. That asshole."

"Names Goku." Goku smiled.

"Literally kidnapped me from across the entire galaxy. Just so I could mystic you up a new set of dragon balls. Because you are all a bunch of fuck ups. Did I miss anything?"

"Well, we missed you." Piccolo added.

"Yeah, no, well great. And what do I get out of this? Gonna make me your king?" Dende sarcastically asked.

"No, but we can make you God though." Krillin replied.

"What?" Dende looked confused.

"As the creator of the dragon balls, you shall assume the throne of Kami, Guardian of this planet. Nobody it thankful, there are no days off, and no one ever visits." Popo explained.

"Well, I guess… I could." Dende looked a little hesitant to accept the new offer, on the plus side he could hang out with his dear friends.

"Okay, so how long will it take before we get new dragon balls?" Itachi decided to ask.

"Depends. Do you have the original sculpture around?" Dende asked to which Popo handed him the sculpture and Dende began to work his magic. "Any alterations?

"Do we get three wishes?" Piccolo asked.

"Not if you want multi-res. I can give you two though."

"Is there a time limit until we can resurrect someone?" Itachi asked.

"If you want multi-res, the time limit to bring someone back is twenty years. If the person, or people have been dead for that long it is too late. If you only want three wishes without multi-res, then one person can be brought back per wish even if they have been dead for over 100 years." Dende replied to which Itachi looked down, seeming a little upset.

"I see…" Itachi uttered.

Dende then finished up the work, and 7 glowing light orbs flew out from the sculpture and spread themselves out across the planet. "There that's it, you have dragon balls again."

"We're going to need it, the clock is ticking." Itachi uttered, looking down from the lookout, feeling out Cell.

Meanwhile, with Cell, the green android was panting, heavily bruised up and battered. He smiled with glee while laughing, standing before his even more beaten up and battered nine children. "Good, good, and now for the second stage of my training schedule, recovery." Cell stabbed his tail into the nearest of his children, and started to absorb the horrified little Cell junior, while the others backed up in fear. "Now, next." Cell looked to his children, whom all started to try and fly away, although none of them could escape.

After a little while, Cell had absorbed his children, and he was almost healed up. With the zenkai boost he would get from this, his power would grow, and he would have nothing to fear. "I can't wait for the games to begin…"

The remaining days went by, Jeice had come out looking traumatized from his training with Vegeta but his power had increased. Everything seemed to be in order, and the Z-fighters gathered to head for the Cell Games. The fate of the world would be decided today, some were more worried than others, and one Saiyan dressed in orange didn't look worried at all. Goku had gotten a different kind of beating for these past few days from ChiChi, and now he was ready for a real fight.

For the past few days, Piccolo had gotten his training in the chamber, the other had prepared in their own way. They found out that the newest martial arts champion, a clown of a man named Hercule Satan had declared he would kill Cell and save the world. Not that any of the Z-fighters believed he could. Goku, Itachi, Gohan, Vegeta, Jeice, Trunks, Piccolo, Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, all flew to the upcoming battle against Cell.

They all flew in the sky, and gracefully landed right next to the arena where Perfect Cell stood, smiling at their arrival. "Finally, we can begin." Cell ignored the little camera man and reporter, here to support their "champion" Mr. Satan whom stood baffled at these flying men's arrival.

Mr. Satan was a rather tall, hairy muscular man. He had a black curly afro, and a mustache, and well-trimmed sideburns. He wore a red martial arts gi, and white baggy pants. "Uh…" He stood a gap, staring at the people who flew down from the sky. Whom were stealing away his show and attention, this did not sit well with the champ, especially since his camera crew had turned their attention to these strangers.

"Excuse me stranger, are you and your freakish friends planning on participating in the terrifying Cell Games?" The reporter held his microphone to Goku, whom seemed the friendliest of the bunch.

"Oh yeah, I'm going to go punch that Cell a lot. In fact, if you don't mind, I'm going to go and do it right now." Goku declared to which Mr. Satan rushed up and pushed the reporter aside and glared at the blond spiky haired stranger.

"Okay, enough! I am not playing second-fiddle to a buncha gym rats with too much time on their hands! I am the World Martial Arts Champion, and I will be the one to defeat Cell!" Mr. Satan said and Goku just gasped.

"There was a tournament? You won a tournament? I won a tournament! That means he is even stronger than Krillin!" Goku looked excited, clearly not having sensed this weaklings power level.

"Wait, hold on, why me specifically?" Krillin asked looking rather hurt.

"Dang it, and I really wanted a turn! Oh well, I guess we'll just have to let the champ handle this one!" Goku declared to which everyone sweat dropped.

"Are you for real right now?" Piccolo looked dumbfounded.

"Yeah, he's the champ, he's got this."

"I can't tell if he is serious, and that is very concerning." Piccolo commented.

"Psst, do you think Kakarot wants that guy to die? If so, I'm kinda proud of him." Vegeta asked Itachi whom just looked dumbfounded.

"I-I'm not sure… either way we have dragon balls again, so there is no problem…" Itachi uttered.

"Good! Now that we have our rank sorted out! Let's begin!" Mr. Satan stood before Cell. "I think it is about I place Cell where he belongs! At my feet! When I, Mr. Satan, end this little freak-show, once and for-" He couldn't even finish as Cell slapped him away crashing into a mountain, skidding down with a blood stain on the mountain side.

"…"

"…"

"…"

"…"

"Now, that the trash is removed from the battlefield. Let us begin, the Cell Games." Cell turned to the real challengers, giving them a devilish smirk. The Cell Games, had finally begun.

That's it for now!

YeTianshi: Thanks!

NotRob: Not to worry, Gohan will still have a brawl with Cell, but he won't be the only one. As you can tell, we are changing things for the tournament.

a guy1013: Sorry it took so long!

Mr. Haziq: Probably, yes, still not figured that one out on who he will fuse with. And as for the second question, we have discussed something like that so it is possible.

setokayba2n: Don't think so, his power is already too great.

Harambe: He is an awesome villain in both versions, but the asshole version is the funniest XD

N2: Sorry it took so long!

StarGazer2326: With this little training exercise Cell did, he has grown strong enough to outmatch Itachi.

T51b Moridin: Thanks for all the support. And we still think Itachi should get with 18, things are already set in motion for it anyway. We could still have like change Maron's character, like she is just a young woman now looking for fun, but eventually she will have to grow up. And hopefully their time training wouldn't have been for nothing.

blackcharizard762: Yes, why?

seant5054: Sorry it took so long!

Pink ranger 13: Thanks, sorry it took so long!
