A/N: I'm really excited about this! This is where everyone is going to meet everyone.
Beacon Academy
Soon we see the view of several ships carrying students and docking at the entrance of the school. As soon as one lands, Jaune Arc emerges and goes over to the nearest trash can, hunching over it as he loses his lunch as Mason Alucard as he is wearing his Black Fedora and now Sunglasses from Junior Club as he looks at him in disgust as he walks away from him.
Soon we see Ruby and Yang, alongside several other students, walk out of the ship and head down the paved path to the front of the school. As they take in the entirety of Beacon Academy they had one thing to say.
Ruby and Yang: Wow...
Yang: The view from Vale's got nothing on this!
Soon we see Ruby getting so excited as she becomes a 2-D, starry-eyed, floating chibi.
Ruby: Ohmygosh, sis! That kid's got a collapsible staff! And she's got a fire sword!
Ruby tries getting closer, but Yang pulls her sister by the hood back into realistic proportions.
Ruby: Ow! Ooww!
Yang: Easy there, little sister. They're just weapons!
Soon Ruby then felt insulted when she said that.
Ruby: 'Just weapons'? They're an extension of ourselves! They're a part of us! Oh, they're so cool!
Yang: Well, why can't you swoon over your own weapon? Aren't you happy with it?
Soon Ruby shows she is happy as she then transformed her weapon into its scythe form.
Ruby: Of course I'm happy with Crescent Rose! I just really like seeing new ones. It's like meeting new people, but better...
Then Yang playfully pushing her sister's hood down over her face as she then tells Ruby to make friends.
Yang: Ruby, come on, why don't you go try and make some friends of your own?
Soon Ruby takes off her hood and asks her why.
Ruby: But... why would I need friends if I have you?
Yang: Well...
Soon in a flash Yang is with a group of other students as they surround Yang and they all dash down the road away from Ruby.
Yang: (Quickly Speaking) Actually, my friends are here. Gotta go catch up. 'Kay, see ya, bye!
Ruby: Wait, where are you going?!
Soon Ruby started spinning and getting dizzy-eyed from Yang's sudden leaving.
Ruby: Are we supposed to go to our dorms? Where are our dorms? Do we have dorms?
Ruby stopping for a moment, still reeling in from being dizzy.
Ruby: I don't know what I'm doing...
Soon Ruby falls backwards into a luggage cart, sending cases flying and someone is standing over her. As it was Gareth Grimm as he went in to check if she was ok.
Gareth: Ruby are you ok?
Ruby: Gareth?!
Soon another person was standing over her as it was an heiress, not just any heiress it was Weiss Schnee the heiressto the Schnee Dust Company and she wasn't exactly happy at Ruby.
Weiss: What are you doing?!
Soon the two look at Weiss as Ruby is getting up on her hands and apologized to her
Ruby: Uh, sorry!
Weiss: Sorry?! Do you have any idea of the damage you could have caused?
Soon Ruby grabs a case as she gives it to Weiss as she takes it from her.
Ruby: Uhh...
Weiss: Give me that!
Soon as Weiss snatched it from her she looks inside and we see it's actually Dust from the Schnee Company.
Weiss: This is Dust - mined and purified from the Schnee quarry!
Ruby: Uuuhhhh...
Weiss: What are you, brain-dead? (holding out a vial of red Dust and shutting the case) Dust! Fire, water, lightning, energy!
Ruby: I... I know... (starts coughing from the Dust pouring into her face)
Gareth: You know if you keep throwing dust around someone is about to––
Weiss: And you! Who do you think you are ordering me around when you don't know your place.
Gareth: EXCUSE ME?!
As Gareth was getting angry at her as finally all the Dust that Weiss shook in Ruby face started to build up her up in her nose and was about to sneeze.
Weiss: Are you even listening to me? Is any of this sinking in? What do you have to say for yourself?!
Gareth: Well... one thing I would like to say to you Royal Pain in the A––
Ruby: ACHOO!!!
Ruby, who had been receiving more and more Dust to her face, finally sneezes, which erupts into a full-blown explosion of flame, snowflakes, and electricity right onto Weiss and Gareth was shocked by what happened.
Gareth: Not what I was going to say but this is also good too.
The bottle she had been holding flies over the courtyard and at the feet of Blake Belladonna, who picks it up and notices the Schnee Dust Company logo on the side as she reads from a book and looks over at the scene.
???: What was that Explosion?
Soon Blake looks beside her as we see Romon Mamoru as Blake then shows the Label to him.
Blake: Trouble.
Soon Romon looks at the Label and then noticed Blake is now wearing a bow to hide her cat ears.
Romon: Why are you trying to hide yourself?
Soon Blake looks at him as she didn't anyone to know she was a Faunus.
Blake: I don't want anyone to know that I'm a Faunus. I mean I don't want them to know that I was White Fang.
Romon: Ok, but I'm leaving some word of advice. 'We cannot forever hide the truth about ourselves, from ourselves.' One day your going to get tired of hiding before it will explode in your face I just hope you're going to choose your team well for Beacon.
Soon Romon used a new straw hat to hide his Fox ears as he went forward to where he was supposed to go to where everyone else is going to be.
Romon: I'll see you there Blake.
Soon Blake then looks at the bottle before looking back at Gareth and Ruby and Weiss who is now covered in soot, though it quickly disappears.
Weiss: Unbelievable! This is exactly the kind of thing I was talking about!
Gareth: So your going to apologize to us?
Weiss: What? No! If anything you should apologize to me!
Soon Ruby had apologetic and was embarrassed by what just happened.
Ruby: I'm really, really sorry!
Gareth: Well I'm not sorry, because it was your fault!
Weiss: Ugh, you both are complete dolts! What are you two even doing here? Aren't you both a little young to be attending Beacon?
Ruby: Well, I-I...
Gareth: Well yes, but learning knows no bounds besides it's a great Combat School.
Soon Weiss got in front of Gareth as he was defending Ruby from Weiss hurtful words.
Weiss: Well this isn't your ordinary combat school. It's not just sparring and practice, you know! We're here to fight monsters, so... watch where you're going!
Gareth: Wow... (Sarcastic) You know this is a great way to start. Blaming others when you don't take any responsibility for your own actions.
Weiss: What's that supposed to mean?
Gareth: I mean, You're a spoiled brat who doesn't even know how to be responsible and had gotten everything she ever wanted on a silver platter!
Weiss: How dare you!
Soon Weiss and Gareth stared down each other as she then noticed Gareth ears under the hood.
Weiss: Well, well it seems that I'm talking to a Faunus, well if you don't mind why don't you be a good dog and play fetch with this Dolt.
Soon Ruby had enough of her.
Ruby: Hey, that's not nice calling us that, Princess.
Soon Blake got into this argument.
Blake: (Off Screen) It's heiress, actually.
Soon Gareth and Ruby and Weiss look over as Blake approaches with the bottle.
Gareth: An Heiress?
Blake: Yep, Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world.
Weiss: (smiling smugly) Finally! Some recognition!
Gareth: Nothing to proud about still.
Blake: The same company infamous for its controversial labor forces and questionable business partners.
Weiss: Wha––
Soon Ruby and Gareth were chuckling at Weiss who is Heiress to a Shady Business company.
Ruby and Gareth: (Chuckling)
Gareth: No, No keep going. I want to hear every detail on the Schnee company questionable business partners. (Chuckling)
Soon Weiss got angry at everyone around her.
Weiss: How dare- The nerve of... Ugh!
Soon Weiss gets up in Blake's face and takes the bottle from her, walking off in a huff as her helpers gather the luggage and follow her. Soon Ruby then tries to apologize to Weiss even if she was still mean to her as it was her fault that he 'Literally' exploded in front of Weiss.
Ruby: I promise I'll make this up to you! (sighs) I guess I'm not the only one having a rough first day... So, what's...
Soon she noticed that Blake was walking away and so was Gareth as he walked the other way as she then collapses to the ground on her back.
Ruby: (Depressed) Welcome to Beacon...
she remains this way until a shadow comes over her as it was Jaune Arc.
Jaune: (holding out his hand) Hey... I'm Jaune.
Ruby: (taking his hand) Ruby. (stands up) Aren't you the guy that threw up on the ship?
Beacon Campus
Soon we see Beacon inside the walls are filled with scenic trees, arching architecture, and a winding road alongside a river, down which Ruby and Jaune are walking.
Jaune: All I'm saying is that motion sickness is a much more common problem than people let on!
Ruby: (laughing) Look, I'm sorry! Vomit Boy was the first thing that came to mind.
Jaune: Oh, yeah? What if I called you Crater Face?
Ruby: Hey, that explosion was an accident!
Jaune: Well, the name's Jaune Arc! Short, sweet, rolls off the tongue - ladies love it!
Ruby is skeptical about what he said.
Ruby: (skeptic) Do they?
Jaune: They will! Well, I-I hope they will. My mom always says that... Never mind.
Ruby: (Giggles)
Soon Ruby noticed that Gareth was walking around and decided to include him in the group.
Ruby: Gareth!
Soon Gareth looks around and see's Ruby as he then tries to walk away but Ruby then stops him as she suddenly appears in front of him leaving behind rose petals.
Gareth: How did..?
Ruby: Gareth I would like you to meet Jaune.
Soon Ruby drags Gareth to Jaune as he holds out his hand.
Jaune: Hello, names Jaune Arc.
Gareth: Uh, Gareth, Gareth Grimm.
Jaune: Wow, that is some last name there.
Gareth: Uh yeah.
Soon a short, awkward silence falls on the group as Ruby then decided to show them her Weapon.
Ruby: So... I got this thing! (she pulls out Crescent Rose and stabs it into the ground)
Gareth wasn't as fazed as he saw he weapon before but Jaune was as he hopped back.
Jaune: Whoa! Is that a scythe?
Ruby: It's also a customizable high-impact sniper rifle!
Jaune: A-wha...?
Gareth: A gun genius.
To prove what he said was accurate she cocks her gun.
Jaune: Oh. That's cool!
Gareth: Thats nothing watch this!
Soon he takes Light and Darkness as they are Duel Kama Blades.
Ruby: They are cool but what else can they do?
Gareth then turns his Kama blades into duel Handguns.
Gareth: Now when separated I use the duel guns for close or mid range and I use the Kama to deal with melee targets but that's not all it can do.
Jaune: There's more?!
Gareth: Oh yeah...
Soon Gareth then turned his weapons back into Kama blades before putting them together and making a scythe which Ruby seemed to love.
Ruby: (Gasps) You use a scythe too?!
Gareth: Yep it is also a High power rifle.
Soon his Scythe then turned into a sniper rifle that had a long barrel and Iron sight.
Jaune: Wow... I never seen so many transitions to change weapons before.
Gareth: Well not to brag but I had a thought that you could change your weapons in more ways then one and be glad with that or you can change the weapon to suit you in any situation.
Ruby: Wow! Your like a prodigy in weapons.
Gareth: I wouldn't say that I just want to be prepared for anything.
Ruby: So cool, so Jaune what've you got?
Soon Jaune then show the two his weapon Crocea Mors as the two look at as it looks normal sword.
Jaune: Oh! I, uh... (unsheathes a blade) I got this sword!
Ruby: Ooooohh!
Jaune: Yeah, and I've got a shield, too! (he gets his scabbard, raises his arm and expands the metal into his defense)
Ruby: So, what do they do?
Soon Ruby touched Jaune shield as he was fumbling with the shield as it retracts off his arm, expands, and retracts again before putting it back in place and finally shrinking it down for good, placing it on his belt.
Jaune: The shield gets smaller, so when I get tired of carrying it, I can just... put it away...
Ruby: But... wouldn't it weigh the same?
Jaune: (dejectedly) Yeah, it does...
Ruby: (giggling) Well, I'm kind of a dork when it comes to weapons, sooo... I guess I did go a little overboard when designing it.
Gareth: Me too, I want a bit overboard then you Ruby.
Jaune: Wait - you two made them?!
Gareth: (Sarcastic) No a blacksmith made this.
Jaune: Really?
Gareth: No. I made this out of hard work and dedication. Didn't you make your own weapon when you started training?
Jaune: It's a hand-me-down. My great-great-grandfather used it to fight in the war.
Ruby: Sounds more like a family heirloom to me! (laughs) Well, I like it! Not many people have an appreciation for the classics these days.
Gareth: Yeah... my family always collected old books and tried to restore them.
Jaune: Really?
Gareth: Yeah... no one appreciates the classics anymore it's nice to see someone still holding onto the classics.
Soon he sheathed his sword as he looks away from them.
Jaune: Yeah, the classics...
Soon all three are moving on as Ruby wants to know why Jaune helped her.
Ruby: So why'd you help me out back there? In the courtyard?
Jaune: Eh, why not? My mom always says, 'Strangers are just friends you haven't met yet.'
Gareth: Sounds kinda like my Dad talking.
Ruby: Hmm.
Soon she looks around as she was lost.
Ruby: Hey, where are we going?
Jaune: Oh, I don't know! I was following you two.
Gareth: Let's go to that big dome there. There might be something there that can tell us where to go?
Ruby: Good idea.
Jaune: Y-You think there might be a directory? Maybe a food court? Some sort of recognizable landmark?
Soon Gareth and Ruby then give a Raised eyebrow at him as if he was serious.
Jaune: Is, uh... Is that a 'no'?
Ruby: (laughing) That's a 'no'.
Beacon Auditorium
Soon we see an aerial view of Ruby, Gareth and Jaune entering Beacon Academy's giant auditorium, filled to the brim with people. Ruby looks over when she hears Yang's voice.
Yang: (waving) Ruby! Over here! I saved you a spot!
Gareth: Who is she?
Soon Ruby looks at the two as she leaves them.
Ruby: Oh! Hey, I-I gotta go! I'll see you two after the ceremony!
Jaune: Hey wait!
Soon Ruby left Jaune alone as he then talks to Gareth.
Jaune: Well, Gareth it's just me and––
Soon as he looked behind him he noticed Gareth was gone as well as Jaune looked depressed.
Jaune: (sighs) Ah, great. Where am I supposed to find a couple of nice, quirky people to talk to?!
Little did he know as he moves on to reveal Pyrrha Nikos. Pyrrha wore her red hair in a waist-length ponytail, curled slightly into a loose ringlet. She also wore light-green eyeshadow around the far upper corners of her green eyes. She was tall and quite muscular compared to most of the other girls at Beacon. As a top, she wore a brown overbust corset with a vertical strip of lighter brown in the center. Additionally, Pyrrha wore an elastic, black, A-line mini skirt and brown opera-length gloves on both arms. She wore a red ankle-length sash that wrapped around her skirt and she is standing behind him, with a hand on her hips as she watches him walk away.
Soon Ruby moves next to Yang with her arms crossed as Yang asked how her day is going.
Yang: How's your first day going, little sister?
Ruby: You mean since you ditched me and I exploded?
Soon Yang thought Ruby was joking.
Yang: Yikes! Meltdown already?
Ruby: No, I literally exploded a hole in front of the school! And there was some fire, and I think some ice...?
Yang: (smiling broadly) Are you being sarcastic?
Soon Ruby explains what happened as behind her we see Weiss listening in on Ruby.
Ruby: I wish! I tripped over some crabby girl's luggage, and then she yelled at me, and then I sneezed, and then I exploded, and this boy saved me and then she yelled at me again, and I felt really, really bad, and I just wanted her to stop yelling at me!
Weiss: You!
Soon Ruby jumps in Yangs Arms.
Ruby: Oh, God, it's happening again!
Weiss: You're lucky we weren't blown off the side of the cliff!
Yang: (deadpan) Oh my God, you really exploded.
Ruby: It was an accident.
Soon she gotten down from Yang as she expressed it was an accident.
Ruby: It was an accident!
Soon Weiss then holds up a pamphlet titled "DUST for dummies and other Inadequate Individuals" to Ruby.
Ruby: What's this?
Soon Weiss is listing off policies to a clueless and horrified Ruby, going faster and higher pitched with each word.
Weiss: (Speaking Faster and High Pitched) The Schnee Dust Company is not responsible for any injuries or damages sustained while operating a Schnee Dust Company product. Although not mandatory, the Schnee Family highly encourages their customers to read and familiarize themselves with this easy to follow guide to Dust applications and practices in the field.
Ruby: Uuhhh...?
Weiss: (Speaking Normal) You really wanna start making things up to me?
Ruby: Absolutely?
Soon Weiss then hands her the pamphlet.
Weiss: Read this, and don't ever speak to me again.
Yang: Look, uh, it sounds like you two just got off on the wrong foot. Why don't you start over and try to be friends, okay?
Ruby: Yeah! Great idea, sis! (holding out her hand as she clears her throat) Hello, Weiss! I'm Ruby! Wanna hang out? We can go shopping for school supplies!
Soon Weiss seemed to be seemingly enthusiastic about that idea.
Weiss: (seemingly enthusiastic) Yeah! And we can paint our nails and try on clothes and talk about cute boys, like tall, blond, and scraggly over there!
This causes Jaune to look at Weiss when she pointed her thumb at him.
Jaune: Hm?
Ruby: Wow, really?!
Weiss: (dead silence under her glare) No.
Soon Ozpin gotten every students attention as they are drawn to the stage, where Professor Ozpin is readying the microphone, with Glynda beside him.
Ozpin: (Clears Throat) I'll... keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and acquire new skills, and when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose, direction.
Soon everyone look at each other and whispered to themselves on Ozpin Speech.
Ozpin:You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step.
As Yang, Weiss, Ruby, Mason, Gareth, Romon, Blake, and Indie listen to him in the Auditorium as Blake and Romon was standing together ponder his words, Indie Ingrud was standing as well as he had his arms crossed as we see only his scales and horns and not his Tail and wings as he only hid them to make room around him, Mason took off his Glasses as he was inside the Auditorium as he seemed to be puzzling on what Professor Ozpin said as he seemed distracted, Gareth was looking at Ozpin as he left the stage and finally we see Yang play with her hair as Ruby and Weiss was listening to him as then Glynda steps in and talks to the rest of the students.
Glynda: You will gather in the ballroom tonight; tomorrow, your initiation begins. Be ready. You are dismissed.
Yang: He seemed kind of... off.
Ruby: It's almost like he wasn't even there.
Soon we see Jaune approaching Weiss from the side.
Jaune: I'm a natural blond, you know!
Soon Weiss puts her hand to her face in exasperation.
Beacon Ballroom
This is the first night at Beacon, the students are splayed out in sleeping bags. Soon we see Ruby, in her pajamas and with a sleeping mask around her head, is writing in a journal when Yang crashes next to her, similarly dressed.
Yang: It's like a big slumber party!
Ruby: I don't think Dad would approve of all the boys, though.
Yang: I know I do! (purrs)
As Yang watches several muscular, shirtless guys... and Jaune, dressed in feetie pajamas, waving to her, which makes her groan before she returns her attention to Ruby.
Yang: [Groans] What's that?
Ruby: A letter to the gang back at Signal. I promised to tell them all about Beacon and how things are going.
Yang: Aw, that's so cuuuute!
Soon she was attacked in the face by a pillow thrown by Ruby.
Ruby: Shut up! I didn't get to take my friends with me to school! It's weird not knowing anyone here! Except for Gareth.
Yang: Ooohh... Gareth. So who is he?
Ruby: Well, I don't know who he is really but we share the same quirk for looking at amazing weapons and I met Jaune he seems nice and makes me laugh a bit.
Yang: See? You're making friends Gareth is quiet guy and Jaune he's... nice! There you go! Plus two friends! That's a two hundred percent increase!
Soon Ruby then looks up and tells her about another person Weiss.
Ruby: Pretty sure Weiss counts as a negative friend. Back to one...
Yang: There's no such things as negative friends! You just made two friend and one enemy!
Soon Ruby then threw a dog pillow at Yang as she is knocked backwards. As she then tries to cheer up Ruby.
Yang: Look, it's only been one day. Trust me; you've got friends all around you! You just haven't met them yet!
Soon the two sisters notice a candle being lit nearby, and Blake Belladonna is seen leaning against a wall, reading her book in her pajamas.
Ruby: That girl...
Yang: You know her?
Ruby: Not really. She saw what happened this morning, but left before I could say anything.
Yang: Well, now's your chance!
Soon she pulls on Ruby arm as the two of them go towards Blake.
Ruby: Wait! What are you doing?!
Soon Blake looks over her book to see Ruby unsuccessfully struggling against Yang's grip as she leads her sister over to Blake's spot before letting go.
Yang: (singing) Hel-looooo! I believe you two may know each other?
Blake: Aren't you... that girl that exploded?
Ruby: Uh, yeah! My name's Ruby! But you can just call me Crater... (smiles, embarrassed) Actually, you can just call me Ruby.
Blake: (back in her book) Okay.
Soon we see Romon Mamoru went towards Blake as he wore a light orange nightcap which hid his Fox ears and wore light orange pajama shirt and pants with his hands in his pockets.
Romon: (Yawn) I'm going to bed and––
Soon he noticed Yang and Ruby as he then flirted with Yang.
Romon: But I suppose I could stay up a bit longer to such a charming lady such as yourself.
Yang: (Blushes) Oh stop it.
Romon: Oh, I'm sorry it's a gift and a curse can't stop it.
Soon Blake then glares at Romon as she wanted to read in peace.
Blake: Well, since you three are busy why don't you three leave?
???: Who's leaving?
Soon all four then see Mason as he is wearing no shirt as we see his Alabaster complexion as it looked like he was gleaming in the moonlight and showed then his muscles. As Yang took in his muscles.
Yang: Wow... looking pretty... cut up.
Ruby: (Groans)
Mason: (stifled Laughter) Ok that was a good one.
Romon: Ok... that was weird? Say Blake that's an interesting book you got there.
Blake: Yes it is an interesting book.
Soon everyone waiting to go into more detail but just kept quiet as they are looking at her.
Yang: So... What's your name?
Blake: (sighing as she's distracted yet again) Blake.
Yang: Well, Blake, I'm Yang, Ruby's older sister! I like your bow!
Blake: (irritated Sounding) Thanks!
Yang: It goes great with your... pajamas!
Mason: (Chuckles) pajamas...
Blake: Right...
Romon: (Whispers to Blake) We seemed to have picked up a 'quirky' group this is a great opportunity to make some friends.
Soon Blake looks at the company she is talking to as she doesn't think that they would be good company.
Blake: Right...
Soon Yang and Ruby look at each other as they try another approach.
Yang: Nice night, don't you think?
???: Really? It seemed the same every night to me?
Soon everyone looks behind Romon as they see Indie Ingrud as he is sleeping in his casual clothes and his scarf.
Indie: Well if you all think it's a lovely night then I guess it's lovely.
Sooon Blake had enough of everyone here and trying to talk to her as she tells them it's lovely.
Blake: Yes - it's lovely! Almost as lovely as this book!
Soon everyone stares at her while standing and not getting that she is annoyed by their presence.
Blake: That I will continue to read.
They still standing there.
Blake: As soon as you leave!
Soon Yang looks at Ruby as she had one thing to say.
Yang: (to Ruby) Yeah, this girl's a lost cause.
Soon right behind Ruby was Gareth as he is in Pajamas of a Beowolf heads as he wears it on his shirt and pants as we can see his two animal traits his ears and tail.
Gareth: Whats its name?
Soon everyone sees Gareth as they are shocked to see him have two animal traits mostly Romon and Indie as Romon look at Blake as she looks back at Gareth.
Blake: You're not a Faunus are you?
Gareth: Nope, I'm something else. So what's your books name?
Blake: Well... i-it's about a man with two souls, each fighting for control over his body.
Yang: (sarcastically) Oh, yeah... That's real lovely!
Soon Romon just looks down as he could sympathize with it.
Soon Ruby comes in as she showed an interest in their conversation.
Ruby: I love books. Yang used to read to me every night before bed. Stories of heroes and monsters... They're one of the reasons I want to be a Huntress!
Blake: (laughing a little) And why is that? Hoping you'll live happily ever after?
Ruby: Well, I'm hoping we all will. As a girl, I wanted to be just like those heroes in the books... Someone who fought for what was right, and protected people who couldn't protect themselves!
Soon Gareth was interested in what Ruby said as he felt something similar from when he was a child.
Gareth: That's an interesting thing to say.
Blake: Yes, that's... very ambitious for a child. (her smile turns into a frown) Unfortunately, the real world isn't the same as a fairy tale.
Gareth: (Dejected) Yeah...
Ruby: Well, that's why we're here! To make it better.
Yang: Oh, I am so proud of my baby sister! (hugs Ruby into the air)
Ruby: Cut it out!
