Start of the Tower of Heaven Arc.

:Chapter Start:

Akane Resort-Three days from last chapter-day one

Draco sighs as he handled the reception desk as they were almost not given entry due to being Fairy Tail Mages. After explaining they were just there for a vacation the staff was a little less hesitant in letting them have a couple rooms, Grey, Natsu and Happy sharing one of the lower quality rooms while Lucy and Erza shared a room in the VIP areas while Draco had his own room in the same section. Draco intended to spend the trip in his room alone only for Lucy and Erza to literally drag him to the beach for the day, where he spent the entire time resting on a beach chair while Erza and Lucy challenged Natsu and Grey to a volley ball match only for three of them to go overboard.

Draco left them to their devices as he left before the beach became a glacier, it was after lunch when he avoided the group and ended up in the casino for the rest of the first day, gambling. Turns out he has a skill for the game, considering he started with one hundred Jewels and ended the first day with one hundred million jewels. Which was crazy for the first time he ever. He wouldn't be found by the others before they went to dinner. Natsu had melted the glaciered beach so that they could stay the rest of the trip.

Day Two

Draco crossed his arms as he rode the roller coasters around the resort not amused while the others were enjoying everything they did though they reached the arcades and Draco ignored the former mage from Phantom Lord who was stalking Grey as the day went on. Draco then was forced into participating the at a ball throw game resulting in him being banned as with a single soft ball bounced around the stand gaining him the largest teddy bear in the arcade and was banned from the Arcade area.

Day three-the day shit hits the fan-and it wasn't Natsu's fault.

After spending some time swimming in the sea the Fairy Tail mages decided to head for the casino where Draco was offered to go to the high roller tables and tripled the money he won prior. While Natsu and Happy went to the slot machines, Erza went to the roulette tables while Grey went to a large claw machine. Lucy though joined Draco at the poker tables and had wide eyes the entire time. Lucy eventually asks, "How long have you been playing poker?"

"Started two days ago with a day break between," Draco continues to play adding another hundred thousand to the total money started with. Though once he finished winning everyone's life savings that was when the Fairy Tail Luck ended and they found themselves in the middle of the poker tables while everyone else was transformed into playing cards and causing Draco to sigh. Draco says out loud, "Great, this is why I try to avoid vacationing with Natsu, shit hits the fan."

Draco rubs his face while a catgirl holding Happy in some cat themed orange rope, unconscious. The Catgirl spoke, "Are you Draco Pendragon? Nya?"

Draco's eyes narrowed before he sighs and asks, "Let me guess you are here to either fight us or to take us hostage. So how about you skip to the point where you tell me what you want so you won't hurt Happy," pointing at the captured Happy in her arms.

The girl blinks before frowning and says, "I was just told to invite you to meet with my friend Jellal. He wants to speak with you."

Draco narrows his eyes before saying, "Fine, Lucy go make sure Natsu is not too injured," unfortunately that was when the catgirl suddenly creates more of the cat rope to bind Lucy.

Draco just watched as the catgirl spoke again, "Sorry, Jellal said to not let anyone from your guild to chase after us."

Draco comments, "You were expecting a fight?"

"Yeah," she says simply while Lucy just shouts at Draco to cut her free.

Draco simply says, "Well, see you guys later," with that he walked with the catgirl without any hassle. Draco did ask, "So what is your name. Because I doubt you want to be called catgirl the entire time."

"Millianna," the catgirl answered causing Draco to pause before continuing to follow Millianna out the hotel.

Draco asks, "How long will everyone be stuck as a playing card?"

"Sho said that it would take a day before they are released," Millianna says hugging happy tightly apparently not liking the way her friends were treating everyone. Millianna led Draco to a boat that would take them to their destination. Millianna looked to Draco and says, "I am afraid that I was meant to tie you up."

"Fine, just know that I don't consent to anything intimate," Draco states causing Millianna's eyes to widen and her to gain a large blush.

Millianna though says, "Maybe some other time," before she bound his hands behind his back before leading him into the cargo hold and locked him inside with a red dressed Erza tied to a support pillar. Millianna then attached a cable around Draco's ties and made it so he could not escape. Millianna walked away with a slight and unknowing sway as she left the two in the cargo hold leaving a wet trail along the ground.

Draco raised an eyebrow while from the shadows a tall male wearing white pants and metal jaw appeared from the shadows and says, "We are taking you back Erza."

"Why is Draco here? Simon," Erza questioned really wanting to be in her armour instead of the strapless red dress.

"Jellal wanted him. I don't know why," Simon informed her.

Draco comments, "You may want to find a helmet for Erza or something, she is going to have a panic attack if you are taking her back to her past."

Simon stared at Erza as he finally says, "You abandoned us Erza," and left her before she could speak.

Draco asks, "What really happened?"

Erza sighs and after the room was so dark from the sun setting, she spoke, "Before I came to Fairy Tail, I was a slave for a cult of Zeref," Draco nods in understanding as Erza continued, "We were some of the only children enslaved, we were protected by a friend of Master Makarov, Rob, he protected us to the best of his abilities but he could not use his magic as they had special shackles that absorbed magic to strengthen their goal. It was called the Tower of Heaven, its purpose was to revive Zeref so that he may destroy the world. In the final days of our enslavement I discovered my magic when my best friend Jellal was being tortured only for him to join the cult and banished me from the tower. My friends from that time are the reason that they think that I betrayed them, all the boats had been destroyed and I did not know where the island was located. So the Magic Council could not send help."

Draco frowns before asking, "How were the boats destroyed?"

"Jellal, he destroyed the ships," Erza states appearing to be in pain, "And threw me with his magic into the ocean. I washed up in Fiore two weeks later, did not get a meeting with the Magic council until I reached Fairy Tail a month later."

Draco frowns before saying, "What was the purpose of the Tower?"

"To revive Zeref," Erza mentioned and it was the last thing she said for most of the night.

Draco though simply says, "So it would never work," and stayed silent the whole night as he looks through the roof at Simon spying on the pair.

What no one noticed was Draco's Garuda familiar following them until an island came into sight before flying back to Natsu and the others. Dawn the next day they arrived at the island where they see a completed tower that made Erza gasp and ask her four old friends, "Why would you rebuild this place?"

Draco comments, "Probably so whatever is affecting Jellel thinks that it will work." The comment was ignored though he received some dirty looks as Draco and Erza were led through the tower. The unconscious Happy still in Millianna's arms. They walked up a stairwell all the way to the top of the twenty story tower made of stone and from what Draco could smell bones. Draco took note of all the seams along the stairwell where they can be blocked or removed to stop invaders. Not that it matters as Draco reached the top of the tower and says, "Wow, you got the design just right except for one thing. You have to convince the morons on the magic castle with your magic clone."

Jellal rotated the chair on the elevated platform causing a blue haired man wearing a dark wizard uniform of black and purple. A tattoo over his right eye. Jellal frowns and says, "So you knew that I have no twin."

"Not too difficult," Draco states as he looks around and says, "You intend to have the Magic Council use their secret weapon to charge the tower."

Jellal chuckles and says, "I should have known. Considering you are the most powerful Phantom Mage in the world it should have been expected."

"I am the only Phantom Mage you parasite," Draco states getting an angry glare from Jellal.

Jellal simply says, "Send them to the cells. The same one we all grew up in," Jellal hums while Erza's friends led the two back down to the base of the Tower where it looks more like a prison. They were pushed into a cell that Erza remembers about the only light times of a place so dark.

Draco looks around as Erza's friends left after giving Erza dark looks. Once the two were alone he suddenly tore his bindings off his hands and revealed the Kraken Pla-Familiar ring and summoned the familiar. Draco simply says, "Go lead the idiots to us."

Erza blinks before she says through gritted teeth, "It is too dangerous for them to come here."

"They have Happy," Draco states causing Erza to blink as she failed to realise Happy was being hugged by Millianna.

Erza sighs and says, "Millianna always wanted a cat."

Draco then comments, "We need Natsu."

Erza blinks at Draco admitting that he needed help and asks, "We have to stop him ourselves."

"No we need Natsu to start breaking everything and collapse this tower so everyone can escape. Tried it once ended up creating a national monument," Draco admits, "Because they don't know what they have built. The Tower of Heaven is in the Book of Zeref."

Erza asks, "What did it say?"

"Nothing that helps with our situation. Nor anything that can be used to stop them without the book," Draco says, "I left it with Makarov until I got back."

Erza sighs and says, "What can we do at this moment?"

"We can rest and when they come to grab us, you can interrogate your friends while I go speak with 'Jellal' or 'Siegfried' or whatever that parasite is calling himself. We have until the Magic Council uses the Etherion Cannon on the tower." Draco starts before walking over to the cage door and breaks it open and walks out the cell before closing it, "See you later," Draco walks away as Erza blinks before shouting at him to come back and help her.

Draco walks calmly through the tower at a leisurely pace. While ten kilometres out, Natsu, Lucy, Grey and the Water Element Four Phantom Mage rode on a boat being led by a tired Garuda when Kraken found them and they were forced to watch as Garuda fell into the boat as a ring that Lucy collects while Kraken takes over leading the group. Jellal laughs evilly at the top of the tower while his clone Sigfried was convincing the Magic Council into using the Etherion Cannon. In the Etherion Cannon Room the device was guarded but unattended ready to use though some disturbed dust near the weapon would cause some concern when it was discovered.

:End of Chapter 10:

This chapter was almost only a five hundred words as I had intended to just have them relaxing and enjoying their time on vacation before shit hit the fan. So I started the Tower of Heaven Arc. Though I will have to watch it again. =P
