"I honestly don't know" I shook my head my hands in my pockets "But I'm guessing it had to do with the cake Eros always fed us every time I came over" Thalia just nodded before hitting me with an extremely strong bolt of lightning I was flung back at least 10 feet after I hit the ground I sat up coughing
"Damn that hurt" I muttered I opened my eyes to see her smirking down at me "Do you feel better? " she smiles
"A little bit ya"
"Ok good cause I need you to come with me to my cabin and help me with something" She pulled me to my feet
"What is this something?"
"Finding my true love obviously"
"What about Annabeth?"
"Oh right you didn't know ya I found her cheating on me earlier today"
"Tell ya what I'll kill her later right now let's go see how I can help" With that, we headed over to my cabin.

Kim POV (12 at this time Luke is 17)
I can not believe Percy dragged my happy ass to this demigod party. I mean he knows how much I hate people, especially fucking demi god they think they're all big and bad. If only they knew they're parents are only allowed to rule because my father and his family wanted to retire. As we walked up to the apartment building I could already hear the thumping bass music. I mean honestly, most of these demigods are on the titan Kronos side anyways, why is mister pureblood Percy hanging out with them. Even though I hate parties this crowd is more my scene than his.
"Come on Perce" I whined "I wanna go home and gorge myself on junk food and binge The Originals" Percy just laughed
"You really need to get out more, plus this group is really more of your kind of people anyways. I mean I'm probably the only demigod you actually like" I shrugged neither denying nor confirming his accusations.
" Besides I already told you the person in charge of this party is Luke the son of Hermes who tried to get me killed" I really shouldn't find the fact that I almost lost my best friend funny, but Percy just has a way of making a bad thing seem funny. It also didn't help that the damn gods decided oh looky here a son of the big three doesn't matter he has absolutely no training we're going to send him on a quest against one of his best friends from camp because were assholes. The elevator opened up right into the middle of the party, the music was loud and the lights were flashing, the smell of alcohol and underage drinking was potent. Immediately I loved it.
" OK, I'll see ya later try and make some friends" With a kiss on the cheek and a cheeky grin Percy ran off into the crowd.
"Bastard" I snarled at his back. With being left alone I did what I normally do I go grab a drink and sit in a corner hoping to turn invisible. I really hate people! While I support the Titian plans to a point, they could seriously go about it more sensibly. I mean literally, nobody wants a war, then again Kronos is kinda fucked in the head. Apparently, I was making some sort of face because a shadow fell over me causing me to look up. Looking up was probably the best idea I have ever had as the shadow belonged to the hottest man I have ever seen in my life. As he was bending over I couldn't make out his full height but if I had to take a guess I'd wager maybe 6'5, so ya he would be towering over me even if I were standing with my total of 5'3 height. I doubt I'll get any taller. He was blonde with beautiful striking blue eyes almost on a level with mine, dirty blonde hair, a scar going down his face over his right eye, and muscle I could clearly see even in the dim lights of the party. I smirked and stood up causing him to stretch to his full height which I was right about 6'5 and definitely towing over me.
"well what do we have here your not a demi-god I know"
"Probably not as I'm not technically a demi-god" his eyes widened at this.
"Then how did you know where to find this party?"
"My friend Percy brought me, says I need to make friends or whatever" I rolled my eyes and let the sarcasm to seep into my voice
"Hmm well alright then although it seems your friend might be playing both sides of the war" I shrugged
"I doubt it he's always had a good heart, I think he just doesn't want to hurt those that he holds dear, his dad and godly family included, so hell fight for what's right in his mind" The mystery guy nodded and stuck out his hand
"Well, mystery not technically a demigod, I'm Luke son of Hermes" I grinned and gripped his hand, the moment our skin touched a bright light flashed in my eyes this could only be seen by me as it died down I could see a bright red bond line between me and Luke, the bond of true love. However, it wasn't reaching all the way to him most likely had an age difference we needed to get past or something like that first.
"Well, Luke sone of Hermes im Kim daughter of Eros and Percys best friend" Luke threw his head back and laughed. For the rest of the night, Luke and I chatted and got to know each other. I never told him what I saw, I'll have to speak to dad about it and see what he says. Once the party started to die down Luke went to talk to several other demigods and Percy came up to me drunk off his ass, well maybe stumbled up to me would be a better description of what he did. I laughed and caught him before he fell over.
"How are you going to explain this to Sally" Percy just blinked at me
"Um I was kinda hoping I could stay at your place tonight, I mean your dad probably won't kill me" I just shook my head and grinned. Hoisting him up so I could half carry him we headed out of the party and into the New York Streets. We walked for about 20 minutes before coming up on my house, unlocking the door, and dumping Percy on the couch I settled in the recliner as I heard dad making his way down the stairs. AS he leaned over the banister and stared at Percy and me a slow smirk spread across his lips. Now normally my dad is not a scary man with blonde hair, blue eyes, surfer build mortal women are constantly staring at him but the look of pure "Now what have you done tonight, I know something you don't" was terrifying.
"So daughter of mine, what new things did you learn tonight?" I just laughed and hugged him he gagged" Gods you smell like a bar go change and shower while I keep Percy from hurling all over my rug then we're gonna talk" I just nodded. After about 20 minutes I was freshly showered and in some clean pajamas, I passed the living room where Percy was passed out under a blanket with a bucket by his head and went to the kitchen where my dad was sitting at the table.
"Before you, ask no Percy isn't what I learned tonight"
"Well I knew that dipshit, you've been friends since you were toddlers, I would've seen it before you did." Unable to deny that I just nodded.
"So did you meet your true love tonight" I smiled and nodded
"At least I think so I saw the bright light and the bond you told me about but, it didn't connect all the way like I normally see in other people. What's wrong?" My dad gave me a sympathetic smile
"Nothings wrong my dear it just means he has some emotional issues as well as an age difference to work through before he's ready" I sighed but nodded,
"Well I think I'm off to bed I do have to return a hungover Percy to Sally in the morning" I grimaced causing my dad to laugh
"You have fun with that kiddo, good night and I love you"
"Love you too dad" With that I went upstairs and halfway up the stairs Percy rolled over and hurled I heard my dad grumbling about underage demigods and their stupidity chucking I went to bed. My dreams are to be filled with pictures of Luke.
