A/N Hey, everyone. Welcome back to more of Godzilla Meet The Civilians series featuring my OCs. So first before I get started, I want to apologize to you guys because school's been really hectic and I've been crammed with tests and assignments. I really suck when it comes to updating and promising you guys that more would be coming. But anyway, I want to thank you guys for being patient and sticking with me. So, this is the forty-first chapter of the Godzilla series and again, this is still act three Godzilla vs Kong. Hopefully I can finish this before the end of the year so I can focus on my other projects. I hope you guys will like this chapter, and I'm open to criticism. So, this is chapter forty-first, and let's get right to it.
I only own my OCs. I'm just borrowing the movie's plot and characters.
Antarctica, Hollow Earth Launch Station, May 20th, 2024
The next few hours hasn't been great for everyone since they lost half of their fleet in Godzilla's attack at Tasman Sea. Now in Ospreys, the group travels to Antarctica, with Kong safely strapped in harnesses as they make their way to the Hollow Earth Launch Station.
"We're getting close!" Nathan declared as he looked out the window.
Huddled in jackets, Bee and Sony experienced some flashbacks about the last time they were in Antarctica. Jia talks to Doctor Andrews in sign language.
"What's wrong with them?" Jia signed.
"I'll ask them." Doctor Andrews signed back in reply.
"Doctors Taylor and Jackson. Is something about Antarctica bothering you?" Doctor Andrews questioned.
"The last time we were here is that we almost lost our lives to King Ghidorah. The three headed devil." Bianca replied.
"And then Godzilla came and saved our asses from King Ghidorah." said Sonya.
"Attention, we're landing in three minutes." the pilot reported.
Setting Kong down, the aircrafts released the harnesses as the former ruler of Skull Island opened his eyes and watched as the helicopters flew away. Getting up, he wandered around curiously, before making his way over to Jia, as he made eye contact with her. Jia looked back at Doctor Andrews, who nods her head in approval.
"Home." Jia signed as she pointed the entrance beside Kong.
Kong turns to observe the entrance briefly and grunted in disapproval. Jia points her finger at the doll before pointing it back to the entrance. Kong snorts and scoffed. Jia turns around and looked at Ilene in worry.
"It's not working." Nathan commented.
"Just wait. Wait, wait, wait." said Ilene, feeling frustrated.
"What if she tells him there are others down there like him?" Nathan questioned.
"But you don't know that." Ilene retorted.
"We lost our entire fleet getting here. There's no way back for him. And he can't survive here." Nathan finished.
"If you guys haven't attacked and provoked Godzilla, maybe we would've ensured the survival of the entire US fleet." Sonya pointed out.
Kong moaned softly as he shook the snow off his fur and growled and observed the coldest continent curiously.
"All right. All right." Ilene agreed, letting out a frustrated breath, before walking over to Jia.
"Hey. Tell him... there could be more like him... inside." Ilene signed.
"Family?" Jia signed in question.
"I don't know. I hope so." Ilene signed in reply.
"It's worth a try. Convincing Kong that there are others like him in the Hollow Earth." said Bianca.
"Your family might be down there." Jia signed at Kong before pointing at the entrance again.
Kong observed at the entrance once more, grunting softly. Feeling convinced, he snarled and made his way to the secret entrance.
"He's going. Prepare to launch! Everybody to their station. We gotta go." Nathan ordered.
The two cousins raced to the launch station and boarded the second HEAV vehicle as they sat down and strapped on their seatbelts.
"HEAV 1 online. We're clear for launch." a pilot reported.
"Copy that, HEAV 1." the control acknowledged.
"HEAV 2 online. Exiting hangar now." another pilot reported.
"HEAV 2, confirmation 4055."
"This HEAV 3 online, launching now. We'll follow him from behind." a pilot informed.
"Here we go." said Sonya as the HEAV vehicle was in the air.
The three vehicles entered the tunnel and followed Kong to the secret entrance of what could be his new home. Reaching the end, Kong suddenly starts to free fall as the HEAV vehicles flew down.
"Oh my God!" Bianca cried as the HEAV entered through a portal.
"I think I'm gonna throw up after this." said Sonya.
Coming out of the portal, Kong and the three HEAVs starts free falling as the pilots struggle to maintain control due to low gravity. The two cousins screamed, as they tried not to throw up.
"All Delta, reverse gravity propulsion!" Nathan ordered over the radio.
"Hang on!" Bianca called.
Soon after, the pilots regains control of the HEAVs, and the two cousins looked out in the horizon of Hollow Earth. Nathan wasn't kidding about the Hollow Earth when he published his books. Some of the habitat creatures squawked and screeched in unison.
"Whoa. I've never seen this place so beautiful." Sonya commented.
"This is HEAV 3, we're getting some strange radar activity. We're gonna circle back and..." a pilot reported before a winged creature comes out of nowhere and rammed the HEAV 3, destroying it in the process.
"What the hell is that thing?" Bianca cried.
"HEAV 1, are you seeing this?" Sonya questioned on her earpiece.
Kong begins fighting the two winged creatures as one of them used a wing to consume and trap him under.
"All Delta, prepare to attack!" Nathan ordered.
HEAV 1 deployed several missiles and fired at the winged creature, as Kong is freed before continuing to fight the winged creature, slamming it on the ground many times before he tears the head off.
"Kong's on the move. We gotta go." Ilene informed over the earpiece.
"Understood, HEAV 1." said Bianca in her earpiece.
"Well, he seems to know where he's going." said Nathan on the radio.
"Oh, he certainly can move." Ilene commented in admiration.
The two remaining HEAVs followed Kong closely as he ascended on the hills and looked around some of the floating rocks around him.
"HEAV 1, how long until we make a touchdown?" Sonya questioned.
"Whenever Kong is ready to stop." Nathan replied.
"Understood. Doctor Jackson signing out." Sonya acknowledged as she removed her earpiece.
And that will be it for chapter number forty-one for now. So what did you guys think? And as always, criticism is open, if my writing is terrible, I'm sorry. I'm trying my best to incorporate the movie's plot with my characters in it. Anyway, in the next chapter, Will and his group arrive in Hong Kong and they come across the testing of Mechagodzilla. Do you guys think I should finish this story before or after the end of the year? Because it's already been two years since I've posted the story starting with act one. Let me know what you guys thought of chapter forty-one and chapter forty-two is coming up next.
