Chapter 17
A knock was heard on the door to his office.
Kunzite didn't look up from his paperwork.
Another knock.
"Come in."
High-heeled shoes clacked along the tiled floor of his office. He stopped what he was working on as a sense of déjà vu occurred all over again. The sound of that walk was too familiar from past years.
As he looked up, he saw his smiling wife wearing a casual summer dress as she sat in the chair across from his desk.
He looked into her eyes, "You have the report?"
She gave a smile handing him a picture, "We are already two months along."
After staring at the image for a moment, though it was faint, Minako noticed a small smile on his lips. She knew deep down he was pleased to be the father of her children. She noticed his demure change and understood he saw what she was trying to show him. His face began to pale. "No."
"Oh yes," she responded with a smile. "We are having twins again."
