The rest of their first day passed by without further incident. No more surprise tests or anything. The little group that had taken Izuku in stuck together for the remainder of the day and got to know each other a little better, with the green haired boy only giving vague details about his pre-UA life.

Just as they were all about to leave their classroom for the nearby train station, Aizawa walked into the room and approached their group specifically.

"Midoriya, the principal has asked to see you." he stated, near emotionless, but he immediately backpedaled when he saw Izuku's eyes widen. "It's got nothing to do with the incident with Bakugo earlier, nor are you in trouble at all. It seems you've piqued his interest… though I don't know if that IS better than being expelled." his message conveyed, the man walked out without waiting for a reply.

"Well that's ominous."

The group nodded along with Kaminari's statement.

"You want us to wait up for ya Midori?" Mina asked.

Izuku shook his head, "D-don't worry about it, get home safe you guys. I don't know how long I'll be."

It didn't take too long to get to Nedzu's office, it was an important enough location that it was marked on the maps given to students AND it had signs pointing to it throughout the corridor, though Izuku swore it took him around in circles for a little bit.

The moment he went to knock on the door, it swung inwards suddenly, causing the teen to jump a bit before a familiar voice called out.

"Izuku Midoriya! Come in, come in! I've been expecting you."

The room before him looked vaguely like his old principals office, in the sense that it had a desk and seats as well as a few filing cabinets no doubt filled with various official documents. But unlike the office at Aldera, the one here at UA felt… cozy, to Izuku. There wasn't much separation between the seat in front of the desk from the desk itself, there was a quaint coffee table with a teapot and two glasses as well as an ornate jar situated atop it as well as two comfy looking sofas to frame it. Izuku felt at ease the moment he stepped in.

"Don't just stand there Midoriya, come join me here at the table." Nedzu continued, hopping off of his desk and scuttling quickly towards the sofas. "I hate working across from my desk, too official, too serious!"

Izuku nodded and followed the shorter mammal, taking a seat opposite him as he watched as the principal poured out two glasses of piping hot tea and taking the lid off of the jar. "Would you like a cookie? I quite enjoy baking as a method of destressing, and these gingerbread cookies go splendid with the simple lemon tea I brewed for us. I find that the sharp bitterness cuts right through the monotony of early year paperwork and compliments the spices of the biscuit."

"O-oh! Yes please." Izuku lifted the tea to his lips and cringed mildly at just how bitter it was, but the warmth that spread through him and the way the gingerbread cut through it all, made him strangely relax.

The principal sighed, "Ah, that's a reaction I love to see. Aizawa had informed me of how wound up you seemed during his tests, as well as what happened with Bakugo. Rest assured, we do not tolerate those sorts of actions, so if he tries it again, let us know." Izuku simply nodded before the principal continued, "Down to business then. I'm sure you're wondering why exactly I would call you in for a meeting after your first day hmm?"

Izuku nodded, he had been wondering that, and although he had initially worried he would be in trouble for some reason or another, as had usually been the case at Aldera, Aizawa's reassurance went a long way to dispel the feeling.

"Well, in truth this meeting would have happened a little bit later as I wanted time for you to acclimate to your new school environment. However, the more thought I put into it, the more I thought it prudent to talk to you." the principal continued, "I've never had the pleasure of working with a Quirk that offers Foresight in quite the same way as yours does Midoriya, or at least, in the way you described in your own notebook. The closest I've come is with Sir Nighteye, All Might's old sidekick, however as far as he is aware, his visions are static and cannot be changed."

'Ah, it's about my visions then, phew.'

"With that said, I want you to know that if you ever see anything in a vision that you think could directly lead to the safety of the school being compromised, I ask that you let someone know as soon as possible. I will be informing Aizawa as well as most of the faculty that you have my express permission to act in whichever way you see fit based upon the vision, and that based on its severity, you will have the highest authority in most situations."

This… was not at all what Izuku was expecting to hear from the principal. The statement itself left the boy shocked for a moment, cup of tea raised to his lips as he processed what he had heard.

"B-but sir, I'm still in training! Surely the other teachers will be more than capable without giving me t-that amount of authority?" he asked, but the principal chuckled in reply.

"Of course they could, however if we could see a possible issue coming, then why not make use of that? Right? And I do understand your worry that you are still in training, and that you may be worried at the prospect of commanding others for the best probable outcome," He continued, pausing only to take a sip of tea. "Which is why I have decided to give you extra lessons. We can start with analysis and work our way through planning and then the actual act of commanding."

Nedzu pulled out a stack of papers and Izuku took a quick look. Each one's front page had the words "Lesson Plan" followed by what the booklet was made up of and Izuku leafed through a couple of pages. They were all filled with diagrams and hypotheticals as well as what appeared to be actual case files, all leaving Izuku a bit more confused as to what was happening.

"Admittedly, I had already thought to bring you in as a personal student after reading your analysis book, which I would very much like to skim through all your other ones. Your analysis of people and their Quirks is extraordinary! And I'd enjoy shaping that skill to perfection, so that you may analyze opponents mid fight in a matter of moments! But, that is not the analysis I wish to begin at. Instead, situational awareness will be our first focus, as well as memory retention."

"Wait wait sir I still don't think I should be trusted like this, there's so many questions I have! Why memory retention1?" The inheritor of the Monado sputtered out.

"Well Midoriya, do you have any control during your visions?"

Izuku reeled back a bit in his seat, thinking back to his first vision with the Sludge Villain. He was certainly aware that the vision was a vision, but he couldn't influence the actions of his future counterpart. He could however, see the villain as he approached, despite not having knowledge of him at the time, so he was aware of the goings on in his future vision.

A startling realization hit him though, that very same day he had woken up twice right? At least he felt like he had. Yet in his first run through, he hadn't been aware it was a vision, and during the second he had barely registered that something was off! How had he missed that? The same thing had happened on the day of the entrance exam! Though he had been aware enough that time to initially avoid the blasted brick on the floor.

He thought about the few visions that Katsuki had triggered as well and how they were in first person instead of the third person perspective of the Sludge Villains fight, relaying all of this information to Nedzu.

"Just as I thought then, you retain some awareness of what happens in a vision while going through it, but you are booted from it as soon as it runs its course. Visions can last anywhere from a fraction of a second, or show you up to a few minutes ahead. You also mentioned that time doesn't freeze in any way outside of the vision, but the amount of time that passed in the vision and outside, is not directly proportional though there may be some sort of correlation or conversion between the two…"

The principal continued muttering his own analysis of his abilities and Izuku marveled at the sight of another person exhibiting similar behavior to him, the principal noticed and his tail wagged a little bit, clearly amused. Izuku didn't need to be convinced much further from there, and soon the conversation became about what days and times he would be studying with Nedzu, as well as what the protocol for a vision was. Once it was all seemingly clarified, Nedzu checked his watch and sent the boy on his way home, Monado in hand.

Hi Y'all!

got another short chapter here today, it's a sort of transitional chapter honestly. I just want to setup the fact that Izuku won't need to skirt around Quirk Restrictions as much depending on the visions he sees, as well as what's to come.

Speaking of what's to come, the USJ! I'm writing up that little section now, so hopefully it'll be out soon.

In my new work; "Go Ahead, Try Me", I mentioned in the AN that i would probably put this one on Hiatus, and thats not a lie, but it wont be until after the USJ as i DO have everything planned out for that already and don't wanna pause this until thats written up!

In terms of progress for my other works...there is a little... I'm most of the way through writing the next chapters for both of the other ones so keep an eye out for them!

Hope you guys enjoy! lemme know how it is in the comments, maybe go check out 'Improvise, Adapt, Overcome' or 'Go Ahead, Try Me' and let me know there too!
