Jessica's Point of View
After swimming around the palace, I went to my room and looked out the window. I saw Demyx swimming by, and I swam through the window to greet him. "Demyx! What are you doing here?" I exclaimed as I approached him.
"I was looking for you. Your dad asked me to check up on you," Demyx explained.
"I'm doing fine. I miss everyone, but I'm among friends," I replied.
"He wanted to see you in person, but he's working on some secret project right now," Demyx mentioned.
"When is he not?" I sighed.
"There's also the issue that I'm technically not supposed to be here," Demyx added.
"What?" I gasped. I didn't understand why Demyx wasn't supposed to be in Atlantica.
"Xemnas ordered us to cut our ties from you for now. Don't take it the wrong way. I think he just wants us to give you some space," Demyx replied.
"I doubt it. He's probably just being petty," I huffed.
"Well, it's not really any of my business, but he usually has your best interests in mind. I wouldn't read too much into it. I should get going. I doubt he would catch on to where I've been, but I shouldn't really risk it," Demyx said.
"Yes, you should. Thank you for coming out to see me. I know that you're risking a lot by being here. Please tell my father that I love him. If you could, also tell Zexion-" I stopped, wondering what I wanted to tell Zexion. I knew that I wanted to tell him something. "Tell Zexion that I will always treasure our friendship no matter what happens."
"Will do. I'll see you around, I guess," Demyx commented before he left through a dark corridor. I swam back to the palace.
