Zexion's Point of View

I was almost ready to go to bed when there was a knock on my door. I opened it to find Demyx on the other side. "Demyx. What are you doing here?" I wondered. It was unusual for Demyx to have almost anything to do with me, so his visit surprised me.

"I have something to tell you. May I come in?" Demyx asked. I stepped aside to allow Demyx into my room. "We can't let Xemnas find out, but I visited Jess. She wanted me to tell you that she treasures your friendship no matter what happens. That's all."

"Thank you. Was she well?" I questioned.

"Yeah. She seemed fine. A little sad, though," Demyx mentioned.

"I don't suppose I could talk you into having my drop by for a little visit anytime soon?" Zexion wondered.

"Well, it is risky. After all, Lord Xemnas made it pretty clear that we were to not disturb her. I risked my tail just by going by myself," Demyx replied.

"I'll take care of one week's worth of your missions," I bargained.

"When do you want to go?" Demyx wondered.

"Not today. She's probably asleep by now. Perhaps tomorrow?" I suggested.

"It's a deal," Demyx agreed.

When Demyx left, I prepared myself for what was to come. I had been waiting for the right time to tell Jessica my secret for a long time. When Lord Xemnas had ordered us to cut our ties with her, I worried that I would never have the chance to tell her. I knew that another opportunity to tell her my secret might not happen, so I had to make this one count.
