Xigbar's Point of View
Immediately after Jessica went with the puppet, I went to the Round Room to make good on my promise and warn Xemnas that Jessica was about to see Roxas. I appeared in my chair. "How's it hanging? I need a teensy favor. I can't have you in Vexen's old lab for a while. See, I kind of told Jess that I would protect it from you, and you know how she gets. Do something nice for her, and she opens up with all those emotions. If she thinks I'm someone she can go to when she's got a problem with you, I can manipulate her emotions however the Organization sees fit. You understand, don't you?" I started. I was lying about my motives, of course. He didn't need to know that she owed me one. I would probably save that favor for after I was done jumping through hoops for that old coot.
"Perhaps that could prove useful if she'll take the bait. However, it's no secret that you annoy her to no end. How can you be certain she'll feel more open to you?" Xemnas inquired.
"Because I know that what remains of Vexen and Zexion are most important to her. If I'm true to my word, she'll trust me more," I claimed. I was bluffing big time, but it didn't matter. So long as Xemnas agreed to stay away from Vexen's lab, everything would be fine.
"Very well. See that you find more opportunities to get her to become more vulnerable toward you. With half of the Organization gone, she's running out of reasons to stay with us," Xemnas agreed.
"Speaking of, that puppet invited her to go to Roxas's room. I'm sure she'll have lots of questions about that," I mentioned.
If I didn't have his attention before, I had it now. "Why didn't you warn her?" Xemnas growled.
"As if. She doesn't know that I know what Ventus looks like. It's not like I could tell her. That's on you," I replied.
As though on cue, Jessica appeared in Zexion's chair from a dark corridor. She looked right at Xemnas. "I have questions, and you have answers. I don't want to hear any excuses, just the truth. Why is Ven here?" She snapped.
Xemnas looked from Jessica to me. "Leave us," He ordered.
"As you wish." I left using a dark corridor. It would have been a fun show to watch, but orders are orders.
Samantha: I haven't quite decided how much she'll say to Roxas and Xion, but it won't be much. She doesn't want to tell them anything when even she herself doesn't know what is and isn't true.
