Hello, sorry for the lack of chapters as of late, I've been getting all that I've written saved on Docs and putting them on a memory stick…. knowing my history with my old laptop. Plus, I've been doing spring cleaning, and been binge-watching some shows and who knows maybe in the future I might write a Fanfiction with some of them at some point?... Maybe?

Also, I had a migraine for three days, plus one day of recovering so that was fun… NOT!

I do not own RWBY only my OC's and the change of selected scenes that are not in the real episodes / chapters.

The Strength of the Pack

Volume 2 Chapter 1 - Into The Woods

'In the woods we return to reason and faith,' - Ralph Waldo Emerson.

It has been a couple of days since Blake had returned to Beacon after her intense argument with Weiss, telling her friends about having been a part of the White Fang, after the conflict on the docks with Torchwick.

She could not get her head around the idea of the White Fang working with Roman Torchwick, a well-known Crime Lord in all of Vale. Blake thought taking a walk in the Emerald Forest would clear her mind and to get her frustration out, any Creature of Grimm would pass in her path would meet Gambol Shroud.

With Blake lost in her thoughts, she failed to notice she walked into an open area, when she reaches the centre, her bow twitched, she snaps out of her thoughts and jumps forward, just missing getting hit by a chainsaw sword. Blake unsheathes her katana from the cleaver, ready to face her opponent.

"Belladonna." The White Fang Lieutenant spoke, as he pulls his blade out of the ground.

"What are you doing here!" Blake demanded.

"I've come to be rid of a traitor."

He strikes again, Blake jumps to the side dodging the attack, she gets her katana into its gun form and starts firing at him for only he to block it with his chainsaw sword. The Lieutenant is all familiar to Blake's fighting style, he swings his blade, trying to catch Blake off balance, because of the different height between them, it is her agility against his brute strength.

He charges at her once again successfully knocking her weapons from her hands, he punches her in the stomach sending her into a nearby tree, knocking the wind out of her, her aura flickers.

"Adam will not rest until you are back in chains," he says as he walks towards her. "What I'm doing is an act of mercy."

Once he was close enough he stops and raises the chainsaw blade above his head, about to commit the killing blow.

Blake closes her eyes, excepting her fate.

"I'm sorry everyone," she quietly whispers to herself.

GRRROOOOWWWLLLLL

"What the Hell!" Lieutenant gasped.

She opens her eyes to see the Lieutenant looking from behind the tree Blake hit into, she turns to look as well.

A giant Wolf appears out of the woods, showing its fangs, snarling at the White Fang member. The Lieutenant slowly backs away and the Wolf comes closer from the shadows, the canine's fur has four colours, white, black, reddish brown, and yellowish brunette, however white is the dominating colour on the Wolf.

The Lieutenant points its weapon at the huge Wolf, Blake is shocked to see how big the Wolf is, over 7 foot at best, it seems to not notice her, she remains quiet and still, hoping it stays that way.

GRRRROOOOWWWWLLLL

Another one appears from the other side of the tree, like the first Wolf it too has the same fur colour but with more black, nearly as big as the white one. It follows its counterpart who is still snarling at the Lieutenant. Before long, another two more show up one with more yellowish brunette fur and the last one with more reddish brown. All four of them staring at the lieutenant with the look to kill.

Blake is in complete shock of what she is seeing in front of her.

The White Fang member turns and runs like hell, the four Wolves ran after him, Blake remained still, watching the last Wolf disappear into the forest, trying to process what just happened, once composed she gets her weapon and heads back to Beacon as fast as she could.

Back at RWBY's Dorm room.

"You saw what?" Yang questioned.

"Four Wolves but they were ten times bigger," Blake explained.

"But there's no such thing other then Beowolves," Weiss objected.

"I know what I saw," Blake says. "And I bet they are still in the forest right now."

"What is?"

"AHH!" RWBY yelped.

The Wolfgang brothers walk into the room.

"You girls really need to shut the door." Peta suggested.

"And you shouldn't eavesdrop," Weiss replied in an annoyed tone.

"Hello, super hearing," Liekos says as he wiggles his Wolf ears. "Not our faults we can hear you, let alone a field mouse fart."

Yang muffles her giggles by covering her mouth with her hand.

"Really?" Ruby questioned; her head tilted to one side.

"Thank you Liekos for that description," Peta says, rubbing his forehead. "What are you girls talking about?"

"Blake said she saw four huge Wolves in the forest," Yang answered.

"Maybe it could be a new form of Grimm?" Hento suggested.

"Trust me it was no Grimm," Blake replied. "I wouldn't have walked away unharmed if it was."

"Well, whatever they were the important thing is that Blake is here safe and sound," Achak responded. "Let's go brothers."

Blake blushes and looks away.

The boys leave Hento shuts the down behind.

In ALPH team dorm room.

All four give a big sigh of relief.

"That was way too close," Hento says as he throws himself on his bed.

"It's a good thing she didn't notice," Liekos says.

"We are going to be more careful next time," Peta says. "Who knows she might try and get the rest of her team and JNPR to go with her to find prove or something."

"What if they do find out?" Hento muttered nervously.

"Don't worry little brother," Peta says putting his hand on Hento's head. "Our friends seem to be open minded."

"I don't know about Ice Queen," Liekos says. "Her family have a bad rap on the Faunus, we know what happen a few days ago."

"I've been doing some reading," Peta stated. "It seems to be her father's doing, maybe that's why she came here to Beacon instead of Atlas."

"Achak what do you think?" Hento asked.

LPH look at Achak as he looks out the window.

"They may be a time that they," Achak started. "The school and all of Remnant, might know about us and what we are."

He turns to face his brothers.

"But for now, we are safe," Achak says. "And may the Great Spirit watch over us."

There you go, sorry and for the delay and if this chapter was a little short.

And yeah the scene with the wolves is from Twilight, and yeah I wrote it whilst in the first lockdown back in 2020, and I was that bored it was on tv when I was brainstorming ideas at the time, so… yeeeeaaaaahhhhh.

Plus, I'm not the biggest fan of the Twilight films, hell I've not read any of the books, hell I don't know if the books are any better (Not sure if I should read them or not or just listen to the audio book?) But the only reason why I would watch it is because of the wolves and the Native Americans, like I mention before the wolf is one of my favourite animals and I love the Native American culture.

Hell, I've read some fanfics where the OC x Sam or Jacob or any werewolf character, especially when the OC is related to Bella and tells her off.

(I didn't like Bella's character at all, so to anyone who does, it just my opinion)
