Chapter 43

Coming back to the bar after Tawna's argument and swim with Natsu. She wraps an arm around Laxus's waist as the they stroll through the moon lit paths to the loud bar.

"You and your brother's relationship has always confused me," Laxus says as the couple make there way back to Fairy Tail's bar that the rumbustious guild has claimed for the week.

"How so," Tawna laughs as the shouts and screams of her brother and his exceed fade behind them.

"You yell at each other one minute, then you are swimming in the river the next." He says with a slight chuckle, making Tawna roll her large eyes.

"I wouldn't call that swimming," Tawna huffs annoyed trying to comb her hands through her knot ridden hair. "I call it destroying my hair and dress. Not to mention, this is a new leg and now it's filthy." She pouts. He can't help but smile at the annoyed Dragon Slayer. Her hair is now full of messy waves, and her dress that was once tight against her small frame has loosened and stretched out from being sopping wet and dried again. He's sure Macao should be happy that her dress falls a bit longer on her thighs from being drenched than it did before the Dragneel Swimming incident.

"You can wash the leg," Elie laughs landing on Laxus's head, "But are you sure we should have left those two at the bridge?" The exceeds asks flinching as they hear Natsu and Happy argue about getting out of the river.

"They'll be fine," Tawna huffs, "Happy will get him out, once he gets over thinking Natsu is too heavy to carry." The Water Dragon Slayer snickers.

"I know your brother and cat are dense, but I didn't think that they were that stupid." Laxus chuckles along with Tawna. Every time Happy tried to pick Natsu up out of the water, Tawna would sneakily use blood grip to drag Natsu down, making Happy drop him thinking he's heavy.

"That was just mean, Tawna." Elie states, making Tawna and Laxus laugh a bit more.

"What?" Tawna questions between giggles, "I can't have a little fun? They are the ones who fell for it," Tawna smiles as the approach the loud bar. They could hear the guild's cheers from a block away. They may have had quite a few losses today, but that won't stop a party. Pushing open the door, the smell of booze and food flood her nose as does a wave of guild members. Suddenly tons of arms wrap around the small wizard and she is dragged to the ground in a horde.

"We're sorry, Katawna!" Tear filled faces chant as they hug her closer.

"Umm, thanks Guys," Tawna says trying to breath, struggling to escape the horde.

"Enough!" Laxus's voice booms over the rest, making the guild members scatter to their feet. He reaches down and easily pulls Tawna back to her feet, sending a slight glare to those who tackled her.

"Are you okay?" Elie asks floating next to her pink headed companion. She knows her body has been through quite the beating today.

"Yeah," She stretches, hearing cracking coming from most of her joints, "Leave them alone," Tawna says placing a hand on Laxus's arm, and looks to her fellow guild mates. "I know you all meant no harm earlier. Everything came as a shock to everyone."

"OH TAWNA!" The shout coming towards her once again.

"No, no, no," She waves her arms quickly in front of her body, "easy on the hugs, I'm pretty sure I have a couple broken ribs." Sighing in relief as they begin to back up, but freezes when the door slams open behind them.

"Laxus!" Natsu shouts running in soaking wet, "Let's talk!" He demands.

"He didn't even bother to dry himself," Elie shakes her head along with Tawna. Then the calico looks to her soaked brother, "He didn't even dry you, Happy?"

"He was too excited to get back here," Happy says as Tawna flicks her wrist and Happy's fur is dried and his blue fur puffs up. "Hey!" Happy complains trying to brush his fur back down.

"What happened to you?" Lucy asks looking at her partner's drenched clothing and hair.

"Tawna pulled me into the river," He says flatly, then glances to Tawna, "And you're a jerk."

"First off, you pushed me in," Tawna rolls her eyes and takes a step back closer to the bar with Elie and Happy, "and you should have known it was me, messing with you two." She chuckles, knowing he figured out the blood grip prank.

"Using blood grip to make Natsu heavy is mean," Happy pouts, crossing his blue arms.

"It was funny though," Tawna giggles, scratching behind the cat's ear making him purr.

"Turd," Natsu scowls to his smirking little sister, then turns back to Laxus, "Let's talk." He demand once more.

"Okay," Laxus sighs annoyed, "I'd said I'd give you the time of day, so talk." He says crossing his arms. The guild waits in silence waiting to hear what Natsu has to say.

"Fight me!" The whole guild sigh hearing the all too familiar words fall from his mouth.

"You've got to be kidding me," Laxus groans rubbing his temples.

"I should have known," Tawna sighs exasperated pinching the bridge of her nose, "I said you could have a talk with Laxus!" She shouts annoyed to her brother.

"I am," Natsu argues, "Fight me, and if you win you can date my sister."

"Natsu!" Tawna reprimands, "I am not a prize!"

"I'll take you up on that," Laxus states flatly.

"Laxus!" Tawna shouts in unbelief as cheers echoes from her fellow guild mate egging the two wizards on. No matter the circumstances, the guild can't seem to turn down a good fight. Well, maybe not a good fight, but a fight.

"Bring it Laxus!" Natsu shouts getting all fired up. Bets are already being collected by Cana, most are betting on Laxus, to no surprise. This fight isn't going to be much, nor long.

"You can do it Buddy!" Happy cheers from the bar.

"Don't encourage him," Elie says annoyed.

"Hold this," Laxus states sliding his jacket from his shoulders and onto Tawna's. Making the teen sigh annoyed.

"You can't be serious," Tawna say in unbelief as he steps forward to his fired-up opponent. Natsu gets his goofy grin on his face and ignites his fists.

"Tawna, aren't you gonna bet?" Cana says leaning over the bar next to the pink haired girl's head.

"We all know how this fight is going to end." She huffs handing the drunk a wad of cash, still annoyed that Laxus even agreed to this stupid fight.

"So, money on Laxus?" Can smirks.

"Yup," Tawna nods. Natsu is full of energy bouncing around Laxus, who looks just as annoyed as Tawna. But he did agree to this so, there is only one way to end it. Laxus raises his fist and comes down hard on the Fire Dragon's head. Catching Natsu off guard, stopping his rumbustious jumping around and slamming him into the floor boards.

"Are we done?" Laxus asks a groaning Natsu, and laughter spreads through the bar. Tawna glances to the Cards Wizard next to her raising her eyebrow.

"Told ya," She smirks joining into the laughter of her family. Laxus walks over to his petite dragon and wraps his arm around her shoulder, pulling her close to his side. She glances up glaring slightly, "Did you really have to agree to fight him?" She asks.

"Hey, I told him I'd talk to him, and that's how he wanted to talk." Laxus shrugs, "We won't need to worry about him for now."

"Give him ten minutes," Tawna looks over to her brother struggling to his feet with the help of Lucy and Happy. "He'll be asking for a fight again." She smiles knowing her brother all too well.

"Here's you cut," Cana smirks handing Tawna the wad of cash plus some, back to the Dragon Slayer.

"Who the hell bet on Natsu?" Tawna asks rolling her eyes glancing to her guild mates, receiving a couple dropped heads.

"You were against the fight and yet you still bet on it?" Laxus laughs, seeing the few heads drop in embarrassment from Tawna's question.

"Can you blame me?" She shrugs, "Even in a stupid bet I came out ahead." She laughs. Tawna takes a few steps over to where her brother lies on the floor, with his head still spinning. Kneeling down she can't help but let out a chuckle, "You couldn't talk like a normal human?" She asks lending her hand to her brother.

"You know I talk with my fists," Natsu groans as she helps him off the ground.

"You didn't do much talking then," She laughs receiving a glare from Natsu, "Don't glare at me, I'll buy you a drink with my bet winnings." She grins.

"You bet against me?" Natsu shouts shocked, only the make Tawna laugh harder.

"Why do you always act so shocked," Tawna grins, Natsu can't help but smile back, his sister has always had an infectious smile and laugh. It's nice to see her so happy after today's fight between Raven tail and against each other. "Are we good Natsu?" she asks indicating to their argument, turn swimming incident earlier.

"Yeah, we're good." Natsu smiles shoving her playfully, "You just need to promise to keep the PDA to a minimum around me, and stop keeping secrets from me."

"Deal," Tawna nods handing Natsu his flaming drink.

"Listen up you ruffians!" Gramps shouts standing atop of a table, drink in hand, and slightly drunk. The shouts and mumbles of words and drunken slurs come to a halt and everyone's attention is focused on their Guild Master. "We may have had some losses today," He says raising his glass, "But that is nothing to keep Fairy Tail down, we will bounce back tomorrow and show them what we are made of!" The guild shout in glee getting fired up for the remainder of the games. "But we did have one victory today," Gramps says pausing, "Katawna deserves a proper toast for showing what we are capable of and taking a stand against Raven Tail." Gramps says glancing down to Tawna, "We are all proud of you child, it took guts to do what you did." He raises his glass once again, "Lets continue to make this Games one to remember!"

"Yeah!" The entire guild shouts excited for what's to come. Everyone grabs drinks and seats and begin the first party of many to come during these games. Tawna and Laxus take seats with Freed and Gajeel not sitting too far away. Natsu is already picking fights with others in the guild.

"Come on Tawna!" Natsu shout on a table after knocking Max out, "Fight me!"

"I rather not," Tawna rolls her eyes, "I think I've had enough fighting for one day." She says, the fight from earlier is starting to catch up to her as more bruises begin to show adding to her split lip.

"I'll take a swing at ya, Salamander," Gajeel smirks raising his fist.

"Don't encourage him," Tawna laughs, "He doesn't need another punch in the head today."

"I'll give him more than a wack to the head, right Lily?" Gajeel shouts looking around. "Hey! Where's Lily?"

"Hmmm," Tawna hums looking around realizing a little calico is missing too, "Elie is missing too, my guess they have ran off somewhere." She smirks.

"What!" Gajeel shouts shocked almost falling out of his chair.

"It took them long enough," Tawna laughs.

"What!" Gajeel shouts once more, making Tawna laugh harder.

"Are you really that dense, Metalhead?" Laxus asks. The amount of times Elie has mumbles kiwis in her sleep, made it obvious to him. "They have been attached to the hip since we all came back."

"What did you call me!" Gajeel shouts as Tawna stands from the table and heading over to the bar to get another drink. Turning back, she can help but chuckle seeing Gajeel patting Laxus's head over something with Levy trying to hold the Iron Slayer back. She can only picture what Laxus's face must look like right now.

"Ay!" A drunken slur sputters sliding into the seat next to Tawna.

"You smell like a brewery," Tawna scrunches her nose turning to Cana. To her surprise many of the girls have gathered in this one area of the bar.

"She's been drinking since the start of the games," Lisanna says pulling up a chair next to Tawna.

"I could tell," Tawna says grabbing a soda from the bar tender, "Especially from her comment during my fight," She says rolling her eyes.

"You never ansserred my question," Cana slurs pushing a beer to the Dragon Slayer.

"That is none of your business," Tawna rolls her eyes, "and I've already had my limit for alcohol today." She says pushing the beer back. "I know what you are trying to do, you're trying to get me drunk so I will tell you." Tawna twists the top off her soda and takes a swig.

"How did you two get together?" Mira asks as her and a few more girls join the conversation. With Levy, Lucy and Juvia coming over.

"Yeah, we want to hear the story," Lucy smiles, taking a break from corralling an overly excited Natsu.

"It just sort of happened," Tawna shrugged, "Sometimes there are things you just can't fight." She is met by rounds of awes, "The Thunder Legion had something to do with pushing us to date. We were both really hesitant, because of our past."

"You bring out the best in Laxus," Lisanna smiles.

"She always has," Mira smiles, "Laxus is the most mellow around you."

"Yeah, I guess." Tawna shrugs taking a swig of her soda.

"I'd never thought I'd ever see you so happy with someone," Bisca adds elbowing the younger wizard, "Especially since you practically gave up on dating all together."

"You saw the guys I attracted," Tawna laughs, "You can see why I gave up, but it is true. I never thought I could be happy with anyone. I remember telling Elie on your wedding that I hoped to find someone who looks at me like Alzack looked at you."

"I think succeeded," Bisca smiles, she has seen Tawna go through so much, and it's amazing to see her so happy.

"Why did you guys wait until we were all off training?" Mira asks curious.

"It just happened that way," Tawna smiles, "I think, being away from the guild was a good push."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Cana asks draping herself over Tawna's shoulder.

"No offence, but you all are nosy as hell." Tawna says removing Cana's arm from around her.

"Did you guys sleep in the same bed?" Juvia blushes, probably thinking about Gray.

"Case and point," Tawna says chuckling at her fellow water wizard and her example prying question, but decides to humor them and answer some questions, "Same tent, we camped most of the time, there was only a handful of time we stayed in a hotel over the three months. Couple of those times Evergreen, Elie, and I took a hotel room to ourselves and made the boys stay together so we could have a girl's night" Tawna ignores the awes and mumbles of the girls trying to ask her more questions. She gives them simple answers to everything, especially knowing how some of their imaginations work. Especially Mira's and Juvia's, they have always had very active ones. With all the questions coming at her, she lost track of what questions were coming her way.

"Do you two do it more with or without your leg?" Cana asks in the mist of the girls.

"Depends on the day," Tawna says flatly taking a sip of her soda. A round of gasps echo over the girls, when Tawna's eyes widen realizing what she just said, and her cheeks redden into a deep blush. The girls let out squeals, and Cana lets out a satisfied laugh, knowing she caught the Dragon Slayer off guard.

Laxus looks over to the commotion that the girls are causing and notices Tawna's cheeks bright red and her eyes widen in shock. With all the girls swarming her.

"What's going on over there?" Freed asks curious.

"Who knows," Laxus shrugs taking a swig from his mug.

"I do, gi hi," Gajeel snickers leaning back in his chair, with his animal like hearing, he heard the whole thing. "You better hope Salamander didn't hear what Calico let slide." Laxus puts together the pieces realizing what Tawna must have said, based of her deep blush and Gajeel's hints. Looking back to the girls, Tawna is chugging a bottle of water and fanning her face, still in disbelief of what she said, a few of the girls are grinning widely, as are a few have just as deep of blush as she does, and Cana looks rather pleased with herself. Cana catches Laxus's eyes and grins widely.

"Yeah, Laxus!" She shouts waving a bottle around, and an arm around Tawna's shoulders, making his girlfriend blush even more. Laxus rubs his face, hoping a blush hasn't crept on to his face either. They don't need the whole guild knowing about that. It's bad enough Cana and Mira know now, those two can't keep their mouths shut. He looks back to his Dragon Slayer and sees her mouth something.

"Save me," She begs. Laxus can't help but laugh. It's not every day you get to see Tawna this flustered. But he decides to save her from Cana. As it is pretty late and some of the Guild members have started to turn in for the night. So, leaving now won't cause any questioning to come up.

"Ready to go, Babe." He ask placing and hand on her back.

"Yes!" Tawna shouts and slides out from Cana's grasp. Laxus raises his arm and she comes and takes her spot underneath and he rest it on her shoulders. The two turn to leave and when Laxus is pushing open the door they hear one last shout.

"Have fun you two!" The guild drunk shouts.

"Cana!" Laxus and Tawna shout causing her to fall into a fit of giggles and toppling out of her chair.

"What was that about?" Macao shouts looking up from a knocked out Natsu.

"Nothing!" Tawna shouts and hurries out the door. The two make it outside to the cool summer night, and soon as they are farther away from the bar, Tawna lets out a sigh of relief, taking another sip form her bottle water.

"Damn," Tawna sighs, "She got me." She shakes her head.

"That was probably her whole plan all along, especially since you stopped drinking before she could try and get you drunk." Laxus laughs.

"I rather have said it sober than drunk," Tawna states wrapping her arm around his waist. "But I swear if any of them let it slip to Natsu, I'm dead." She sighs annoyed.

"What do you mean you're dead?" Laxus asks, "He's gonna go after me." He says making her laugh. Laxus looks down to his girlfriend and smiles. Her cheeks have finally gone back to their normal flush and there is a content smile on her face.

"Well," A slightly raspy voice says pulling their attention to what's ahead of them. "Isn't it my son and apparently his little girlfriend," Ivan smirks blocking their path.

"What do you want?" Laxus growls pulling Tawna closer to his body. Tawna notices the change is Laxus's demeanor. He's more ridged. She feels his hand grip her shoulder a little bit tighter.

"And what do you mean by apparently?" Tawna scowls crossing her arms.

"What a father can't catch up with his son." Ivan says crossing his arms. The smirk on his face says otherwise.

"Not one like you," Tawna snaps. The comment takes Ivan by surprise then his stare fades a scowl, but Laxus knows that from the tone of her voice, she's not going to put up with whatever he wants. Laxus takes a step forward and steps in front of Tawna.

"That was quite a fight you had today," Ivan huffs. "Though, Karnik assured me that you would be an easy win."

"Why do you care," Laxus scowls, "the win wouldn't have benefitted you."

"It's funny that you didn't report us?" Ivan sneers, "It seems that the Old Man has gone soft." Hearing him talk about Gramps that way make Tawna clench her fists

"It wasn't Gramps," Tawna snaps stepping out from behind Laxus, and takes a step closer to Ivan. Laxus can tell her temper is rising, and when it boils over there is nothing, he can do to stop her. "He wanted to report your sorry ass, but I stopped him."

"Katawna," Laxus says grabbing her wrist and pulling her back slightly. Tawna yanks her hand from his and glares up to her boyfriend's dead-beat father.

"Well, well, well," Ivan smirks, "It seems like Makarov's leniency has rubbed off on his Little Fairies."

"Lamia Scale didn't deserve to be penalized for something YOU did," Tawna fumes, "Is that's why you sent one of your little birds to spy on us in the forest? Were you planning on Karnik fighting me?" Ivan grinds his teeth and clenches his fist and takes a step towards the petite wizard. Laxus quickly steps in front of Tawna protectively, pushing her behind him. He knows she can take care of herself, but when it comes to his father, he's not taking any chances with it.

"Don't even think about it," He growls clenching his fist, Tawna can feel the hairs on her arms stand as electricity begins to rise in the air. "I'm not letting you lay a hand on her." Laxus says protectively. The air is still around them as the two Dreyers stand face to face with one another.

"No need to lose your temper Laxus," Ivan sneers, "The Runt isn't worth it."

"Excuse me!" Tawna shouts angered.

"She's not a Runt, and she's worth everything," Laxus declares taking a step forward toward his father.

"Ivan!" Gramps shouts making Tawna and Laxus turn. The look on his face is not a happy one, walking towards the three wizards and glances to Laxus and Tawna then back to Ivan. "You have no right to be speaking to my children."

"One of them is my child," Ivan smirks crossing his arms.

"Not anymore he's not" Gramps states, and Tawna can feel Laxus relax a bit hearing Gramps say that, but she still annoyed with the Raven Tail Master.

"Gramps, can I kick him?" Tawna snaps turning to Gramps, who only sighs at Tawna's question. She's fired up and still a Dragneel, he should have expected it. Laxus lets out a slight chuckle, knowing she's been thinking about kicking him since he showed up.

"Simmer down, Katawna," Gramps sighs shaking his head then looks between Laxus and Tawna, "You two go back to your hotel, we can't afford you two getting disqualified for fighting the competition outside of the arena."

"You're no fun," Tawna grumbles crossing her arms.

"Let's go, Tawna," Laxus says placing wrapping his arm around her shoulder, "Gramps is right, he's not worth our time." The two go around Ivan, with Laxus ignoring his glare. Tawna catches his glare and sticks out her tongue before turning her head back forward.

The two walk in silence back to their hotel down the road. Tawna doesn't really know what to say after the encounter. Yeah, she has heard many stories of Ivan, and has definitely dealt with his guild members on certain occasions, but never heard Laxus speak of him beside calling him a dead beat. She's never seen him so protective over her. Once Gramps showed up, the tension between the three Dreyars was high. Even though, yes, Tawna would have loved to kick Ivan with her metal leg, but she really asked to defuse some the tension, it at least worked for Laxus and Gramps.

Being in her thoughts for so long, Tawna didn't even realize that her Laxus hadn't only made it back to their hotel, but back to their room. Unlike Team A, Team B decided to exchange their one big room for separate hotel rooms. You would think it would be because of Tawna and Laxus and their newly found out relationship, but no, it was because of Tawna and Gajeel's sibling like arguing.

Looking to Laxus who has sat down on the bed and removing his shoes, Tawna can still see some frustration his face. Laxus has never been good at showing his emotions, he quite level headed these days, but being around his father brings another side out of him.

"Are you okay?" Tawna asks bringing Laxus out of his thoughts. She slips out of her flats and pads over to him.

"Yeah," He says she comes to stand between his legs, and wraps his arms loosely around her small waist, "I didn't mean to get protective over you. I know you can handle yourself."

"Laxus," Tawna says wrapping her arms around his neck, "Don't apologize for being protective over me. It was Ivan." She says mindlessly running a hand through his blonde hair, "It also didn't help that I lost my temper a bit too, I only provoked him."

"He was asking for it," Laxus mumbles, "He did deserve an infamous Katawna kick," He says smirking, making Tawna giggle.

"Who says its infamous?" Tawna asks smiling.

"Everyone who has been kicked with that leg," Laxus smiles glancing to the matte black metal.

"You haven't," Tawna points out, only to be met with a deep chuckle, "What?" She asks confused.

"You have no idea how happy I was when you stopped wearing that thing to bed." He chuckles. Tawna can't help but laugh, she has been told that she sleeps like a Dragneel, and by that they mean she sleeps like Natsu. So, that means she moves around a lot, and that includes kicking in her sleep.

"Okay," Tawna laughs along with her boyfriend, "I haven't kicked you on purpose, I only said that, because I thought it would defuse some tension between all of you. Don't get me wrong though, if Gramps gave me the go, I would not have held back."

"I know you wouldn't," Laxus smiles pushing some loose hair from her face, "You would put him in his place," He laughs. His smiles begins to fade as he looks to her face and focuses on her split lip and slight bruise forming on her cheek. Her arms and legs are covered in scratches and forming bruises. He doesn't even want to know how bad her back looks like after being slammed into the wall so many times.

"Hey," Tawna says noticing his focus has gone to the days earlier events. "I'm okay, trust me the other guy looks worst." She smirks trying to get a smile back on his face.

"Ivan is gonna pay for this," Laxus says running his thumb softly against her bruised cheek. Tawna places her hand against his.

"We all know he plays dirty," Tawna says, "All of Raven Tail plays dirty."

"Yeah it's no wonder Mom left," Laxus mumbles. It takes Tawna by surprise, for as long as she has known him, he has never said a word about his mother.

"This is the first time you have mentioned your mother," Tawna says softly, "Do you mind if I ask what happened?" Laxus just shrugs and glances down.

"She left when I was little," Laxus sighs, "I don't remember anything about her, really. All I know is what Gramps has told me, which isn't much. She left to get away from Ivan, and she left me because she had faith that Gramps and the rest of the Guild would raise me better. Other than that, I have no idea where she went."

"Have you ever thought about finding her?" Tawna asks curious.

"I've thought about it before, but nothing ever came of it," Laxus shrugs. Tawna can tell by the way he's speaking, and lacking eye contact he really does want to know. "I do want to know what happened to her."

"Why don't we try?" Tawna asks flatly.

"What?" Laxus asks being taken by surprise, looking to her, he's met with a soft smile and optimistic green eyes.

"Let's try to find your mom," Tawna says smiling, "After all this Games stuff blows over, lets find her."

"She's been gone for well over 25 years, who says we can even track her down," Laxus explains. Tawna pauses and does some math in her head, then remembers the 7-year gap. Chronologically, Laxus should be 30, not 23. So, the 25 years makes sense.

"She was a member of the guild, right?" Tawna asks gaining a nod from Laxus, "Then we can look in the guild's records, it's not much to go off of, but it's a start. Then we can ask Gramps, and…" Tawna says getting excited.

"We can't get to the records they are in the old Guild hall," Laxus states.

"Yes, we can. I have broken into that place so many times over the years to get things. I know how to get in and out without being seen." Tawna grins. Seeing the wide grin on her face, and not surprised that his girlfriend has cat burgled the Guild hall he can't help but smile. "C'mon Laxus," Tawna begs, "I know you want to find her. We can make this a mission, just for us."

"Okay," He says pulling her into hug and falling back onto the bed with Tawna on his chest. Tawna lets out a giggle and kisses him softly. Pulling away she is met by a smile.

"Really?" She asks excited.

"Really," Laxus nods, "I love you." He smiles raking his fingers through her soft pink hair, detangling it as he goes.

"I love you too," She smiles closing the distance between them with a kiss.

The early morning sun shines through the curtains of the small hotel room, waking the large lightning dragon slayer. Laxus wakes squinting his eyes to the sun coming through the curtains. Looking to the window he sees a certain calico curled up sleeping on a pillow. He shakes his head knowing the Elie must have snuck in very late last night.

Feeling movement next to him, he looks down and see's Tawna curled up against his side using his shoulder as a pillow. He can't help but let a smile creep on to his face seeing the girl next to him. Reaching over, he moves a piece of pink hair from her face and pushes it behind her ear. It's rare for Laxus to catch these moments. Glancing to her face, it very calm and soft, like every problem in the world has been lifted from her shoulders. She looks peaceful.

Tawna adjust her body so she's closer to his, making Laxus smile knowing she is trying to steal as much body heat as she can from him. As she moves, slight squeak of pain mumbles from her lips. Laxus frowns knowing her injuries from yesterday have caught up to her. Reaching down and pulling the blanket that have fallen to her hips, back up to her shoulders. Laxus looks at her back as the blanket covers it, as he suspected the night before, it's not pretty. Beneath her sports bra, her back is covered in scrapes and many bruises. Including large bruises between her shoulder blades and mid-back, both different shades of black and blue. She did come out lucky from that fight, her injuries could have been quite severe.

Thinking to yesterdays fight, Laxus is extremely proud of his Dragon Slayer. She finally got her revenge, and she got it in front of the entire country. There was so much Laxus was surprised about in the fight, he knew she was strong, she can stand her ground against himself in a sparring match barley breaking a sweat. Those seven years of training really pushed her to being one of the top wizards in the guild. The thing that came as a surprise to him, as well as everyone else was Dragon Force. He couldn't take his eyes off of her the moment it was activated. She may had been pissed, to say the least, but she was beautiful. The scales, fins, and not to mention the black hair. She looked like a siren from stories he was told when he was a kid. The way she used her magic was mesmerizing.

"Hmmm," Tawna hums next to Laxus bringing him out of his thoughts as she starts to stretch her limbs. Each movement she makes follows cracks from her joints. Opening her dark green eyes, she's met by golden one watching her every movement.

"Good morning," Laxus smiles kissing her pink head, "How are you feeling?"

"Like I have been hit by a train and dragged behind it," Tawn groans rolling over. "I'm regretting not having Porlyusica look at me."

"You can see her before the games start today," Laxus says playing with her messy hair, twirling pieces between his fingers.

"I don't wanna," Tawna complains burring her face in the pillow, "She's gonna yell at me, then probably whack me with something." Laxus can't help but let out a deep chuckle. She is not a morning person, but he doesn't blame her when it come to that old woman. As she rolls over Laxus gets another look at her bruised covered body and shakes his head.

"Sorry Tawn, you are gonna have to take that chance," Laxus says sitting up in bed, "You're back is probably the most beat up, and who knows how many broken ribs you have."

"Can't I just wait until Wendy is healed," Tawna mumbles from the pillow, making the Lightning Dragon Slayer shake his head. Reaching down to the ground and grabs his shirt.

"Here," He tosses his shirt onto Tawna's back receiving a mumbled complaint, as he slides on a pair of sleep pants, "Get something on before Elie wakes up."

"Why, it's not like Elie hasn't seen me in my underwear," Tawna grumbles sliding on his shirt, making Laxus to cough out a laugh. He forgot how feisty she can get, especially before she gets her coffee.

"Go get ready," He says trying to shoo her off the bed, "We have to get to Porlyusica before the Games start."

"Fine," Tawna grumbles forming an ice leg and they both disappear into the bathroom to get ready for the day.

By the time Tawna is out of the shower and mostly dressed, Elie is just waking up in the windowsill.

"Long night?" Tawna smirks stretching her arms above her head and cringing slightly.

"I could say the same for you," Elie raises an eyebrow, Tawna rolls her eyes causing the Exceed to let out a little laugh.

"So where did you and Lily disappear to last night?" Tawna asks putting on a blue bandeau top and a black cropped vest, pulling flowy black sleeves up to her biceps.

"We just went for a walk," Elie say getting ready for the day as well, putting on her favorite pink dress.

"Yeah right," Tawna rolls her eyes, melting the ice and connecting her leg and sliding on a pair of black shorts and her heeled combat boots, ditching her thigh high socks for once. "What really happened last night? You two just disappeared." She laughs lacing her boots up to her knees.

"That's it," Elie complains, "And we talked and… there might have been a kiss"

"What!" Tawna shouts making Elie laugh.

"Damn, took you cats long enough," Laxus mumbles walking out of the bathroom fully dressed.

"Hey!" Elie shouts offended, flying to take her spot on Laxus's head, much to his annoyance, "You two are some to talk."

"Yeah, yeah," Tawna waves her hand as they leave to head for the games for the day.

Entering the Arena, they maybe early but the stadium is already filling up and the cheers are echoing through the morning air. The couple and exceed make their way through the maze of the behind the scenes of the arena until they make it to their designated infirmary. Not as much as walked there, but Laxus dragging Tawna there. Pushing open the door they are met by the old woman herself.

"You finally came to your senses, Girl?" Porlyusica asks seeing the Water Dragon Slayer standing before her.

"I wouldn't say that, but I am hurting a bit," Tawna huffs as the old healer pulls her into the room. Once in the room, they are met by Lisanna checking in on Wendy and an awake Carla.

"Hey, guys," Lisanna smiles seeing the small group enter.

"Hey, Lizzy… Ow!" Tawna smiles then cringes as Porlyusica begins to poke and prod her injuries.

"Take off your vest." The healer demands.

"A please, wouldn't hurt," Tawna mumbles sliding off her vest.

"You wouldn't hurt either if you'd let me look at you yesterday," The old woman snaps making Tawna roll her eyes.

"Carla, you're awake!" Elie shouts excited flying off Laxus's head and to her best friend's bed.

"Yeah, but my memory is still a little foggy." Carla says rubbing her head then looking to Tawna at the bed next to them, "My, my, Katawna, that fight really did a number on you."

"You're telling me… Ow, can't you be more gentle?" Tawna complains.

"No," Porlyusica says flatly continuing to assess the damage. The old healer stands and walks silently to the corner of the room and starts rummaging through drawers. Tawna catches scents, of familiar people and sighs, cause a couple of them sound overly excited.

"What's up?" Laxus asks, noticing that she is focusing on something else.

"Natsu is going to run through the door any second now," Tawna shakes her head, hearing her brother's excited shouts before he is even there. Suddenly, the door bounds open and an excited pink headed fire ball runs in.

"Natsu, this is an infirmary, not a playground!" Erza reprimands the Dragon's Slayers boisterous behavior. Natsu notices his sister setting on the bed next to Wendy and jumps for her.

"Tawna, you ready for today!" Natsu shouts excited, wrapping his arms around his little sister and shaking her. Tawna's mouth opens, but no sound comes out as she cringes as her body protests the movement.

"Natsu," Tawna squeaks trying to catch her breath, "Please… stop."

"You got to be kidding me," Laxus huffs, reaching out and thumping Natsu in the head, getting him to release Tawna.

"Oww!" Natsu grumbles rubbing his head sending a glare to Laxus, "What was that for?"

"Don't tackle people in the infirmary, Flame Brain," Gray rolls his eyes saying what Laxus was thinking.

"Your injuries are really something," Erza states.

"You look like you were hit by a train," Lucy says seeing the Tawna's wounds now that the bruises have developed.

"Trust me," Tawna huffs rubbing her back, "I feel like it. What are you guys doing here?" She asks.

"Sorry, Bugs," Natsu says rubbing his head, realizing the injuries she had acquired, "We were visiting Wendy and Carla."

"Its okay, Bro." Tawn smiles as Porlyusica shoves a glass in front of her. "What's this?" Tawna asks scrunching her nose at the smell emitting itself from it. The green liquid bubbles up and fizzes, definitely one of Porlyusica's concoctions.

"Drink," The old healer huffs, "Otherwise you are gonna live not only the rest of the day, but the rest of the month with those injuries." Tawna scrunches her nose and tentatively takes a sip. The moment the bubbling liquid hits her tongue, it's back out of her mouth, and thrown into a coughing fit. "What the hell is that!" Tawna coughs.

"Hey!" Happy complains, after being covered liquid Tawna spit out. Porlyusica grabs the glass from Tawna only to fill it once more.

"Sorry, Happy," Tawna apologizes wiping her mouth, "The was foul."

"You Dragon Slayers are so sensitive," Porlyusica mumbles shoving the liquid back to the teen. "Drink, or you can say goodbye to competing for the rest of the week." Tawna huffs and snatches the glass from the healer. As much as she hates anything Porlyusica makes her drink, she doesn't want to give up the opportunity to compete. Trying to close of her sensitive sense of smell, she plugs her nose and shoots it back like a shot.

"I can see the guild has taught you how to do shots," Porlyusica mumbles taking the glass from Tawna and walking back to tend to Wendy and Carla, who fell back asleep moments before Team A entered.

"Macao and Wakaba did teach me that," Tawna answers about the drinking, receiving a chuckle from Laxus. She may not look like it, but Tawna knows how to throw back a drink. Trust him, it came as a surprise to him too, the first time everyone saw her drink in the guild. He looks to Tawna and sees her nose is still scrunched from foul smelling liquid. "Is that all you need from me?" Tawna asks hopefully.

"Yes, you may go." Porlyusica says with a wave of her hand, "Those injuries should start to heal up within the hour." She says seeing a sigh of relief from the Dragon Slayer.

"Thank goodness," Tawna says throwing on her vest, with some of her pain already starting to fade slightly, she only wishes she could say the same about the taste I her mouth.

"Let's go," Laxus says pulling her up easily form the bed.

"Yeah, I need something to get this taste out of my mouth," Tawna complain.

"I'll find get you the strongest coffee I can find," Laxus says draping his arm over her shoulders.

"Don't feed her addiction," Elie reprimands crossing her arms.

"I'll get her decaf," Laxus playfully whispers to the calico.

"Excuse me?" Tawna asks offended.

"Good," the cat nods to the lighting slayer then turns to Happy, "The games are gonna start soon," Elie says, "Happy and I should get to the Guild's seats."

"But I'm still gross," Happy complains still green from Tawna's spit. The Water Dragon Slayer rolls her eyes and blasts the blue cat with water, then wicks away the moisture leaving him puffy.

"There, now you're clean, Little Buddy." Natsu laughs.

"Tawna," Happy whines trying to brush down his blue fur, "Stop doing that!" Both Laxus and Tawna can't help but let out chuckles.

"Be thankful, Cat," Laxus states, "At least you don't smell like that awful potion anymore." He smirks as him a Tawna walk out the door.

"Happy will get over it, "Tawna giggles, "He looks cute all fluffy." She smiles walking along the cobble stone floor, with her heels clicking with every step.

"You seem like your already feeling better," Laxus smiles watching as the pep in her step returns, "Is that because of the potion or because I promised you coffee?"

"That depends, are you really gonna get me decaf?" Tawna grins turning on her heels and walking backwards facing Laxus. He can't help but smile and shake his head slightly.

"No," He chuckles, "But Elie is right, you like coffee way too much."

"What can I say," Tawna shrugs grinning widely.

"Let's go get your coffee, you little addict," Laxus laughs draping his arm over her shoulders and turns her round back forward.

The two walk to the nearest coffee cart in the entrance way of the arena, getting closer to the time the games are to begin, the entrance is full of fans excitedly making their way to their seats and wizards making their way to their designated team and guild balconys'. With the abundance of fans, it has made getting coffee a challenge, with both Tawna and Laxus being stopped every few steps.

"Hey, I'll be right back," Laxus says stepping away. It might be easier for him to get coffee verse both of them trying to get through the crowd. Tawna is the one getting stopped every few feet anyways, due to fight she had yesterday.

"Okay," Tawna grins as she signs a few more autographs to the kids in front of her.

"Thank you, Miss Katawna!" The kids grins and turn to run back to their parents who stand not too far away. Tawna smiles watching the kids run back to their parents. All jumping up and down excited holding their autographed pages proudly. At times she misses being that age, not a care in the world, just excited for the next adventure. Sometimes she regrets growing up to fast, she should have just enjoyed being a kid.

"Look Lector," A snide voice echoes bringing Tawna out of her thoughts, "It's the…"

"Don't even finish that sentence Eucliffe," Tawna huffs annoyed crossing her arms.

"Oh still fired up from yesterday's fight I see," Sting smirks.

"Don't you have something better to do than stalk me?" Tawna snaps rolling her eyes. She's so tired of getting hit on. You would think with the amount of times she has punched him in the face, he would get the hint.

"Sting, what are you doing?" Rogue says approaching sighing heavily, "Katawna," Rogue smiles bowing slightly, "You have quite the injuries from yesterday, I hope you are doing well."

"Hello, Rogue," Tawna smiles nicely. Over the years, Rogue has become a good friend. He's not stupid unlike another certain wizard. "I'm doing much better. Thank you."

"I just came by to let you know that one win isn't gonna be enough to get Fairy Tail on the board." He smirks, ignoring Rogue completely.

"It's only day two of the games," Tawna smirks, "I'm not the only one who can kick some ass in Fairy Tail."

"Don't be so cocky, Dragneel." Sting say taking a step closer to the petite wizard, leaning forward bring his face closer to hers.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," Tawna scowls seeing how close the white wizard has gotten.

"What are you gonna do," Sting says trying to sound intimidating. Only making her roll her large eyes.

"I'm gonna kick your ass and I'm not going to be the only one to do so," Tawna snaps clenching her fists.

"I'd listen to her, Sting." Rogue says with his eyes widening seeing who has approached behind the short Dragon Slayer. Tawna smirks knowing exactly who has stepped behind her.

"It's not her you need to worry about," A deep voice states from behind the petite wizard. Tawna fights to hold back a laugh. She only imagine the scowl that's on Laxus's face. Stings face flashes with fear momentarily and then he tries to regain his cocky demeanor.

"I'm not scared of the little lightning," Sting huffs crossing his arms.

"You wanna test that theory?" Laxus asks flatly.

"Bring it," Sting challenges.

"Oh please," Rogue rolls his eyes, "Katawna has knocked you out on many occasions, and if got the chance would kill you," Rogue glances up to Laxus, "he can kill you with a single punch. This a fight I wouldn't push." Tawna smirks slightly knowing Rogue understand Sting is full of it.

"Shorty wouldn't kill me," Sting says glancing to Tawna, but ignoring Laxus's glare.

"You wanna bet?" Tawna growls grabbing one of her swords, pointing the ice blade at his throat. The ice blade begins to flicker with electricity that Laxus had added in. The crowd around has taken an interest in the commotion that has sparked between the wizards.

"FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!" The crowd begins to shout surrounding the four wizards.

"Now look what you started," Rogue sighs glaring at Sting.

"Bring it Fairy Tail," Sting challenges.

"You and I have fought countless times, but you don't want to challenge him," Tawna warns about Laxus.

"Oh, I'm scared," Sting mocks.

"Idiot," Rogue shakes his head, at his teammate

"You will be," Laxus says with electricity growing around them

"OKAY! OKAY!" a high-pitched voice shouts over the overly excited crowd, trying to bring the attendees away from the guild wizards, "That is enough," Mato shouts coming between the two guilds. "There is nothing to see here, save your excitement for the games." The crowd grumbles as they start to disperse heading to the entranced to the Colosseum. As the fans have left Mato looks to the wizards as Tawna puts her sword away. "You Four, he says, save the fights for the games. Got it?

"Yes, Mato," The four mutter in unison.

"Now, go to your designated balconies," Matos says receiving a nod from both teams as they turn to go their separate ways. Tawna and Laxus take a few steps away then turn and look at each other and let out loud laughs.

"Did you see the look on his face when you came up behind me," Tawna laughs clutching her stomach.

"I don't know, his face when you drew your sword was good." Laxus chuckles

"Only because you added lightning into it," Tawna giggles, then looks to his hand, "I'll take my coffee now." She smiles.

"Just as you like it, extra strong Iced Coffee with extra Ice." He says handing her coffee over. She gets the biggest smile on her face as she takes the first sip.

The crowd booms with excited shouts and screams, as the beginning of the second day is coming upon them. After yesterday's excitement, the games attendees are excited for what's in store today. Tawna and Laxus finally make their way to their designated balcony with the rest of Team B already there.

"What took you guys so long?" Gajeel asks crossing his arms, as the two wizards enter.

"Well," Tawna states, "I got dragged to the infirmary, forced to drink an awful potion, then we went to get coffee, then Sting decided to be an ass, we all almost fought then Mato broke us up and sent us here." Tawna says quickly listing off each item. Gajeel, stares at the petite dragon slayer confused, then glances to Laxus receiving a nod.

"You really can't turn down a fight, can't you?" Gajeel asks raising an eyebrow.

"Hey," Tawna smirks, "He was gonna throw the first punch." She says pointing to Laxus.

"You threated him with your sword first," Laxus states taking a sip of his coffee.

"I swear," Gajeel laughs, "These games better give ya a chance to land a hit on that dunce."

"If not, I'll just wait until the games are over," Tawna laughs sipping her iced coffee.

"On the bright side," Juvia adds, "Your injuries seem to be fading." The water mages smiles seeing the many bruises becoming a lighter shade of black and blue.

"Your back was looking terrible last night," Mira says.

"It didn't feel great either," Tawna huffs, "Whatever nasty thing Porlyusica made me drink sure helped, but it was revolting." She says as the fan fair of the games sounds off.

"WELCOME!" Chapati shouts into the microphone, receiving excited shouts from the crowd and guilds. "To day two The Grand Magic Games!" He says excitedly. "I'm Chapati and I'm here with my co- host Mr. Yajima, and guest host Jason from Sorcerer Weekly."

"Is it just me, or did I get hit in the head too hard yesterday, I could have sworn Chapati's hair was different yesterday." Tawna asks up to her boyfriend.

"He's probably changing it for each day of the games." Laxus states, as Jason shout excited into the microphone.

"Before the games officially start for the day, let's recap yesterday's fights." Chapati says as the lacrama vision starts showing the fights that went down the day before. From the cheating that happened during Lucy's fight, to the other contestants fights, ending with Tawna standing amongst the rubble with Dragon Force activated.

"hmm," Tawna nods, "The black hair isn't bad." She nods in approval. She knows what happened to her body and hair in Dragon Force but has never gotten a good look at herself.

"I thought it suited you," Laxus whispers adding a wink, making Tawna blush slightly.

"Stop," Tawna says elbowing the lighting slayer receiving a smirk from him.

"Now that the recap is over it's time for our first competition!" Chapati shouts as the words spiral across the sky. Just like the day before, just the name is given, Chariots.

"Tawna, do you wanna do this one, since Juvia took yesterdays?" Mira asks glancing past Laxus, only to receive a shake of her head.

"I'll pass on this one, it sounds like a pukefest waiting to happen." Tawna says scrunching her nose. "I've already had my worst memories shown to the entire country, I don't want to add puking on national Lacrama vision to that list."

"It looks like Natsu is going for Team A." Juvia says watching Natsu sprint onto the field with fire spewing from his mouth.

"And I bet there's gonna be more than fire coming out of his mouth." Tawna says rolling her eyes at her brother. "This is not a competition meant for Dragneels." She says as she see Sting also make his way out to field, "or Saber Tooth Dragon Slayers either."

"What do you mean?" Juvia asks.

"Sting and Rogue also have motion sickness too," Tawna explains, "It's not as bad as Natsu and I, but it's enough to slow them down."

"Then in that case I'll kick both their asses," Gajeel grins.

"This game is all yours Gajeel," Tawna smirks, as Gajeel become the final contestant to join the field. Of course the moment he's on the field Natsu is already trying to fight.

"Maybe we will get some points this round," Laxus states draping his arm over Tawna's shoulders.

"Go Gajeel!" Juvia shouts cheering on her best friend as him a Natsu bash their head together arguing.

"You better beat Natsu, Metalhead!" Tawna shouts.

"What did you call me Calico!" Gajeel scowls up to their balcony taking his concentration of her brother, making the crowd laugh.

"Team B is going down!" Natsu shouts.

"You wish!" Tawna smirks to her brother. The fanfare begins as the contestants are transported to the playing field. With a bright light, the players find themselves the City streets of Crocus. The roads are lined end to end with a slow-moving caravan of moving platforms.

"The rules are simple," Chapati says over the excited guests, "Be the first to pass the finish line in the arena. No magic is off limits. Now let the chariot race begin!" The gong sounds and the contestants spring into action.

"Just as I suspected not the race for a Dragneel." She laughs seeing the horror on Natsu's face, then Tawna jaw drops as she see's Gajeel step onto the platform right behind her brother. "What's wrong with Gajeel?" The iron dragon slayer is just a green as Natsu.

"Oh dear," Mira giggles. Laughter rises seeing three dragon slayer pulling up the rear in the race, all their own shade of green.

"This is great," Tawna rolls her eyes annoyed, "Now we are in race for last place." Natsu, Gajeel, and Sting all frozen mid step on the last chariot. "Not that I would look much better out there."

"You would be worse," Laxus states flatly, receiving an elbow to his side.

"Rude," Tawna huffs, "You're one to talk." She jabs back making the Lighting slayer sigh.

"Do you get motion sickness too, Laxus?" Juvia asks curiously.

"Just don't let Natsu know," Laxus sighs, "I already get enough crap from Tawna." The Water Dragon Slayer can't help but let out a chuckle. The moment she found out, she could not help but make fun of him. Tawna looks up and sees Laxus looking down with an annoyed raised eyebrow, making her giggle more.

"I couldn't help it," She says wrapping her arms around his waist squeezing slightly, "But I am thinking motion sickness is a Dragon Slayer thing. There are too many Dragon slayers with motion sickness." She says releasing her grip from Laxus and turning her attention back to the Lacrama vision. The race is close between the leaders, they are only going to pass the finish line moments behind each other, but for the three Dragon Slayers at the end are another story.

"It looks like we have our winner!" Chapati shouts, "Bacchus from Quatro Cerberus gets 10 points." The drunkard celebrates with a wild howl gaining the howls from the rest of his teammates as the other participants cross the finish line. "Second place goes to Raven Tail's, Black Snake, followed by Lesley, Yuka takes fourth, and Blue Pegasus Ichiyia right behind him!"

"Are you kidding me," Tawna complains, "Ichiyia did better than those idiots."

"Now they are literally crawling," Laxus says shaking his head. The tree Dragon Slayers are in a three-way tie for last place.

"I'm not going to lose like this!" Natsu shouts trekking forward on the slowly moving chariot.

"You and me both." Gajeel says amidst trying not to puke. Him and Natsu push themselves forward leaving sting behind them.

"This isn't worth it," Sting struggles, "I'll let you guys have it. It's only one measly point."

"One point isn't anything to scoff at, Kid." Gajeel says glancing back. Tawna can't help but smile proudly at her brother, and Gajeel, who is practically her brother, fight their way to actually finish the race.

"Can you tell me something?" Sting asks, making Natsu and Gajeel look behind them. "Why did you even bother entering the tournament anyways. You are nothing like the Fairy Tail I knew growing up. You're obsessed with what the world thinks of you and how strong you are. What happened to th e Fairy Tail that did what they wanted, when they wanted, they never care what anyone thought of them." Sting asks. The arena has come to a silent, waiting for an answer to the question they have all been wondering.

"Because it's for our friends," Natsu yells out of breath, "and family, the ones who waited for us for the seven years we were gone. They fought through the hurt and the agony. They were humiliated, but they never gave up. Even worse, I had to hear about the pain and heartache my little sister went through, but thanks to Tawna and everyone else they fought to keep this guild together." Natsu says still trekking forward. Laxus feels movement next to him, tears have spilled over Tawna's cheeks, and her hands cover her mouth holding back a cry as Natsu continues to speak, "We are doing this for all of them, and we are going to make sure everyone knows that The Fairy Tail Guild never gave up! So, I'm not going to give up now!" Natsu shouts for the whole arena and country to hear.

Tawna can't hold back the cry she's held in, more tears spill from her eyes and a sob escapes her mouth. Her brother maybe a big goof, but he has a big heart, and cares just as much as she does about Fairy Tail. It's their home, If it wasn't for Gramps finding them in the woods all those years ago, who knows what would have came of them. She feels, not only Laxus's arms wrap around her, but Mira and Juvia's as well, surrounding her in a group hug. Looking up at the screens, the lacrama haven't only focused on Natsu and Gajeel, but on herself and the rest of Fairy Tail guild. Many of those who were with her during those seven years have tears streaming from their eyes as well.

"He did it!" Chapati yells, "Natsu from Fairy tail Team A takes 6th place, and Gajeel from Team B takes 7th!" The two Dragon Slayers lay there exhausted, from the race. Both Fairy Tail teams run their way on the field to meet their dizzy Dragon Slayers. Tawna sees Lucy and Gray help Natsu stand and she runs ahead of team B.

"How are you feeling?" Lucy asks tentatively letting go to see if he is balance.

"Everything is spinning," Natsu says holding his head. Tawna runs past Gajeel, and lunges for Natsu. "Bugs?" Natsu questions stumbling backwards as Tawna hugs him. Catching his balance, wraps his arms around her too. The crowd lets out a round of awes as the two siblings embrace.

"You're mean," Tawna complains, "You made me cry." Natsu lets out a chuckle as she pulls away.

"It's not hard to make you cry," Natsu grins, musing up her hair like he used to do.

"Rude," Tawna scowls laughing, wiping any remaining tears from her face.

"Oi, Calico! This is your team!" Gajeel shouts with Juvia helping him stand making the water dragon slayer laugh. She glances back to Natsu and smirks.

"This still means war, Big Bro," She says giving him the famous Dragneel smirk, walking over to Gajeel and her team.

"Wouldn't have it any other way, Bugs." Natsu smirks, "Now if you excuse me, I would like to go to the infirmary," He says as he stumbles backwards.

"Could you be anymore pathetic?" Gray asks catching him with Lucy. Tawna lets out a laugh as they drag him off the field, and turns her attention to her team. Laxus has taken over for Juvia and is supporting his weight.

"Do we need to drag you to the infirmary too?" Laxus ask flatly.

"I ain't like Salamander," Gajeel snaps making the three girls laugh as they all walk their way to their balcony.

"How does it feel to join the Dragon Slayer motion sickness club," Tawna smirks falling into step next to Gajeel and Laxus as they maneuver their way through the tunnels of arena.

"I want out," Gajeel states, making Tawna let out a laugh as they arrive to their balcony.

"You got it off easy," Tawna smirks, crossing her arms leaning against the balcony, "Try dealing with it for your entire life." She says as Cana walks into the balcony.

"What are you doing here Cana?" Mira asks greeting the card's mage.

"I am your backup Player," Cana smirks, "I got the clearance watch the games from here."

"Great," Tawna sighs remembering the conversation from last night. Laxus chuckles pulling the sour Dragon slayer to his side as the officials announce the first fight of the day.

"Okay our first one on one fight is between Raven Tail's Black Snake, and Lamia Scale's Toby!" Chapati shouts excited. The two competitors take the arena. Black snake standing waiting for the go, and Toby ramping up the crowd.

"Poor Toby," Tawna sighs crunching her ice from her coffee.

"Way to be supportive, Calico." Gajeel states from next to the dragon slayer.

"What?" Tawna questions as Raven Tail lands the first of many hits on Toby, making him howl in pain. "Toby is not the strongest fighter," She says pointing to the field, "He literally a puppy."

"I do have to agree," Juvia says looking at the sad fight in front of them. With each slash of Toby's poison claws, he misses. Black Snake is too quick for him, dodging each slash easily. "That Raven Tail competitor doesn't even look like he's trying."

The two disturbed the dust on the floor of the arena, making it difficult to see what else is happening. Once it settles the gong rings, signaling the end of the fight. On the ground lays an upset Toby and a smirking Raven Tail wizard.

"The dust has settled; the winner is Black Snake from Raven Tail." Chapati announces making Fairy Tail sigh annoyed. Raven Tail has gotten more points and are climbing the ranks, while Fairy Tail stays low on the totem pole. "Let's move on to our next fight, against Baccus from Quarto Cerberus, against Fairy Tail Team B.

"They better hope Erza fights him," Laxus states looking down to the field.

"I know," Tawna agrees nodding her head, "She maybe the only one who has a chance." She says as a commotion explodes from Cana.

"FIGHT!" Cana shouts waving her arms around, Gajeel quickly grabs one of her arms keeping her from swinging on any of them, "AVENGE ME, I DON'T CARE WHO!"

"Wow," Tawna laughs, "What happened with her?"

"Oh, after you two left last night, Baccus came in and out drank her." Mira smiles giggling, but her giggling comes to a halt at the Team A announcement.

"Fairy Tail Team A's Elfman!"

"Elfman?" Mira says worried.

"He should be fine, shouldn't he?" Juvia asks as Elfman makes it out to the field where Bacchus lays waiting.

"Let's hope," Gajeel states finally letting go of Cana. Out on the playing field Bacchus and Elfman fall into a conversation that everyone hears from the lacrama vision.

"Let's make a wager," Bacchus smirks, "You sisters are a couple of hotties,"

"So." Elfman says crossing his arms.

"True brother statement right there," Tawna nods gaining a glare from Mira, making the pink headed wizard shut her mouth, and quickly.

"How about the two of them keeps me company tonight, both of them." Bacchus smirks.

"What a pig," Cans scowls.

"You're telling me," Tawna agrees, glancing next to her at Mira, "So, which Satan Soul are you going to use to kill Bacchus tonight?"

"I'm going to have some faith in Elfman, but on the chance he loses, Sitri should do the trick." Mira says glaring down to the field.

"A real man doesn't tolerate that kind of disrespect," Elfman says clenching his fists, To mess with him is one thing, but to bring his sisters into it is another. "Get ready to get schooled." He growls with magic energy building around him.

"So, I take it we have a deal," Bacchus smirks, "I'm so excited I'm shaking."

"Disgusting," Tawna scrunches her nose, "Kick his ass Elfman!" She says cheering on one of her old mission partners.

"Go Elfman!" Mira shouts as the match begins. Right off the bat, Bacchus throws hits, landing them on Elfman. He's not even giving Elfman a chance to fight back.

"At least he can take a hit like a Man," Cana states watching as Elfman get hit after hit.

"I used to go on missions all the time with Elfman and Gray, and I know he can throw a good punch," Tawna states, "But I don't think he is quick enough to get one on Bacchus."

"Bacchus is even drunk and Elfman is getting the snot beat out of him," Laxus adds making Tawna nod.

"What does being hammered have t do with it?" Gajeel asks glancing over to Katawna, knowing she would know. One from being around for the last seven years, and two she knows a lot about different magic techniques.

"He created his one way of using magic." Tawna states, "You see the stance he has taken," She says pointing at the sobered drunkard. His arms are out straight with his hands straight ready to chop, "He focuses all his magic energy into his palms, making his hits harder, and his magic is amplified when he drinks." She says watching the many more hits land on Mira's brother, "unfortunately for Elfman, Bacchus hasn't drunk a bit booze." On the field Elfman is able to use one of his animal take overs.

"His take over should increase his speed," Mira says worried.

"But he still hasn't been able to land a single hit," Juvia says watching has Elfman tries to catch his breath only to be hit once more by Bacchus. The take over fade from the Strauss sibling and he struggles to stand.

"Come one Elfman!" Tawna cheers.

"Get up!" Cana demands still wanting her revenge on the drunk. Elfman manages to stand on his feet facing Bacchus once more.

"You made it on your feet, maybe your more of a man like you yell about," Bacchus says facing Elfman.

"I never got to tell you my end of the bet," Elfman says catching his breath.

"Well, go ahead," Bacchus states ready to listen, placing his hands on his hips.

"If I win, I want you and your buddies to go by Quatro Puppy." Elfman states seriously, making Bacchus laugh.

"Do you think he'll go for it?" Juvia asks.

"It is pretty silly," Mira agrees, thinking about it.

"It's hilarious," Canna laughs, "And very fitting." She says as Bacchus goes for his bottle, he brought onto the field with him.

"Oh, that's not good," Tawna says as Bacchus starts guzzling down his alcohol.

"I accept your wager," Bacchus says dropping his bottle back to the ground. He gets back into fighting stance and Elfman begins to transform into another beast soul. With a flash, Bacchus lands a dozen hits on Elfman at once.

"All those hits must have caused quite a bit of damage," Juvia states.

"Yes, but look." Mira says looking to her brother. Bacchus's armored sleeves shatter and his hands are covered in scratches and bruises. Elfman has taken on a lizard soul. One with strong scales.

"What?" Bacchus shouts looking back to Elfman.

"I may not be able to hit you but hit me all you want." Elfman states as a large lizard monster take over.

"That could work," Tawna nods, "Each hit is going to inflict some damage on Bacchus, and tired him out."

"Elfman just needs to stay standing long enough for Bacchus to ware himself out." Laxus states as Bacchus springs into action landing more hits on Elfman. The arena watches in silent waiting to see who the first will be to drop. With each hit, Elfman's scales fly as does pieces of Bacchus armor. Bacchus and Elfman both fall to their knees exhausted. Beast soul fades and the crowd waits to see which will be the one to drop. Bacchus stands to his feet, trying to boast about winning, but ultameatly falls back, leaving Elfman the one still up.

"I cannot believe it!" Chapati shouts, "Fairy Tail's Elfman did it!" The crowd erupts in cheers with both Fairy Tail teams.

"He did it, he did it!" Mira and Tawna shouts hugging jumping up and down celebrating Elfman's win.

"What a win for Fairy Tail team A!" Yajima praises from the announcer stand.

"It was so cool!" Jason shouts excited.

"The excitement for Fairy Tail isn't over yet!" Chapati states, "Once we are through clear the field, we are in for a bodacious fight between Blue Pegasus's Jenny and Fairy Tail Team B's Mirajane!"

"Looks like you're up next," Tawna smiles stepping back from the she devil. "Let's get two Strauss wins today.

"I'm not really into violence," Mira say looking down as her brother is helped off the field.

"Don't worry neither is Jenny, unless you crash her photoshoot." Tawna snickers.

"You don't seem like the type to crash a photoshoot," Gajeel raises an eyebrow.

"I know you aren't the type to crash one," Laxus states with Gajeel, making Tawna laugh.

"No, I really crashed it," she smiles, "I was chasing a pest Wyvern through the forest and I ran into her photoshoot set up with Sorcerer Weekly. Long story short, Jason found it more fun taking pictures of me wrangling a Wyvern than Jenny." Tawna laughs.

"That sound more like you." Gajeel chuckles.

"Yeah, this is why Jenny does not like me." Tawna nods then looks to Mira, "So, please kick her ass."

"I'll do my best," Mira smiles heading out to the playing field. After hearing the next fight, the crowd has been rowdy as ever. Who know how much commotion two pin up models could cause.

"The crowd is really getting excited," Juvia says hearing all the excited shouts as the two wizards take the arena.

"It's a fight between two models," Laxus says stating the obvious, "the pervs are coming out of the woodwork."

"Yeah, I bet the men at the guild balcony are losing their heads over it." Tawna say knowing Macao and Wakaba all too well.

"The time has come for our Jenny verses Mirajane!" Chapati shouts also overly excited, "Let the game begin!" Magic energy blares from both transformation wizards with a blinding light. As the light fades both wizards are in bikinis each posing.

"You have got to be kidding me!" Tawna, Laxus and Gajeel shout as the crowd screams in excitement with each new bikini and pose.

"This isn't much of a fight," Gajeel states annoyed.

"It think it was a fight specifically for them," Tawna shakes her head taking a seat on the balcony edge leaning her back against the wall and her left leg pulled to her chest and the right dangling off the edge. "We better get comfortable, it's gonna be a long 30 minutes." She says crunching on the rest of her ice in her coffee cup.

"This is ridiculous," Gajeel rolls his eyes.

"I'm glad you agreed to do a pose off with me," Jenny smirks.

"I was glad to," Mira says sweetly, "I'm not really into violence anyways." She says as they both transform into another bikini.

"We are really in for a treat today," Chapaiti shouts holding up his vote of Jenny.

"I'm feeling like a young man again," Yajima smiles holding up his vote for Mira, with Jason to excite to choose shouting behind him.

"Now not so fast!" Three girls from Mermaid Heel jump onto the playing field, "We aren't going to let a couple of bimbos steal all the spotlight."

"I did not see this coming," Chapati shouts, "Mermaid Heel has joined the party!"

"We're not letting them have all the fun either!" Sherry and Shelia shout jumping down in their bikini's as well.

"It looks like the cousins from Lamia Scale have joined as well." Chapati adds.

"It's turning into a free-for-all," Tawna sighs shaking her head when she notices girls from the guild and Team A jumping in. "Now the guild is joining in."

"Well, since my body is made of water, I think I fill out a bathing suit better than any of these other girls." Juvia says standing in her blue swimsuit ready to join.

"So, I guess you are going down there too?" Gajeel asks annoyed at his longest friend.

"I must do what every I can to fight for my true love," Juvia answers jumping into the arena. Gajeel glances over to Tawna who has made no effort to move from her spot.

"Are you going to join in the madness too?" Gajeel asks, making Tawna laugh.

"Yeah right," She laughs, "I'm not doing that." Laxus smiles and leans on the wall next to her and places an arm around her shoulders.

"Why isn't Tawna down here?" Lucy asks glancing up to pink headed wizard, "The rest of us are humiliating ourselves." She says adjusting her white bikini.

"You're right," Erza says, "She needs to be down here supporting the guild!" Erza says running off the field. Tawna not listening to the conversation on the field hears footsteps approaching their balcony, suddenly the wooden door slams open.

"Katawna!" Erza shouts, "You are coming with me." She shouts grabbing Tawna's arm pulling her from the balcony.

"What!" Tawna shouts, "No!" She says fighting the equip wizard's grip.

"You are coming to support the guild," She says dragging her to the door.

"No, Laxus help!" Tawna struggle trying to reach for her boyfriend.

"Erza, let her…" Laxus starts but is met with a sword pointing to his face.

"Take one more step and I will castrate you!" Erza warns, making Laxus take a step back.

"Carry on," He nods letting the red head take Tawna.

"Laxus!" Tawna shouts annoyed as Erza drags her out the door. Moment later Erza is dragging Tawna by the back of her bright purple bikini with a bump on her head.

"It looks like Katawna has decided to join the party with her guild mates," Chapati announces as Erza releases Tawna rom her grip. Tawna groans standing looking at the Equip mage.

"This is humiliating," Tawna pouts crossing her arms in front of her chest. Being surrounded by all the other girls in the guild, plus those from the other guilds do make her self-conscious. At least in this bikini top giver her a bit of a boost when it come to the chest region, but she still fights the urge to cover her leg.

"You look good," Erza states posing, "Why not flaunt it."

"But I don't want to flaunt it," Tawna argues placing her hands on her hips.

"Neither do I," Wendy states also standing among the girls. Tawna sighs and walks over to her best friend and realizes Elie and Carla have been dragged into this too.

"You guys too," Tawna asks seeing they are all in bathing suits as well. Elie hops on Tawna's shoulder in her pink swimsuit.

"You can thank First Master," Elie sighs annoyed. As an announcement reigns over the crowds excitement.

"Remember, this is still only a competition between Mirajane and Jenny," Chapati states over the cheering crowd.

"Then why are we down here demeaning ourselves?" Levy asks annoyed.

"I agree with, Levy," Tawna states, "This is stupid."

"Oh don't be a party pooper," Suddenly First Master Mavis appears in front of some of the girls, "This is a nice break from all the fighting." Mavis says cheerfully.

"Don't take this the wrong way," Cana says, "I don't understand why a ghost would be so into this?"

"It make total sense coming from the one who started this crazy guild." Lucy says rolling her eyes, making Tawna laughs.

"This whole thing doesn't make sense," Tawna murmurs adjusting her bikini bottoms.

"Awe, cheer up Tawna, you look hot," Cana says swatting the Dragon Slayers butt causing her to scowl at the card's mage, "Laxus is probably enjoying this."

"Cana!" Tawna huffs annoyed, receiving a chuckle from the guild drunk. Tawna sighs and glances up to the balcony, Laxus leans against the wall with arms crossed, but as expected he hasn't taken his eyes off of Katawna.

"Wardrobe change!" Chapati shouts as transformation magic expands over the field, "School Swimsuits!" All the girls bikini's change to identical blue one-piece swim uniform.

"Okay this is weird," Tawna sighs dropping her head.

"Yeah this is getting a bit creepy for me," Levy says just as annoyed.

"Wendy doesn't look too out of place," Lisanna says looking to the young Dragon Slayer between her and Levy.

"I feel out of place," Wendy says panicked.

"Now!" Chapati shouts overly excited, causing some of the girls to sigh, knowing a new wardrobe change is coming, "Bikinis and thigh highs!" Magic energy explodes making the girls change back into their bikinis with the added flare. Tawna looks down and sees she back in her purple bathing suit and black thigh highs.

"That's weird, it covers more skin, but if feels more embarrassing," Lucy mumbles as Jenny and Mira pose it out for the points.

"I feel more comfortable," Tawna shrugs, receiving a laugh from some of her fellow guild members. Out of all the girls, leave it to the one who has lived in thigh highs for years due to her leg to be the most comfortable. Quickly Tawna's and the rest of the participants outfits change quickly.

"Who like girls in glasses?" The announcer shouts. Tawna takes a step back getting dizzy from the glasses that appeared on her face, when Chapati changes the outfits once again, "Cat Ears!"

"What?" Tawna asks confused now in a white bikini with black and orange spots covering the fabric with black and orange ears on her head. "Of course, I'm a Calico." Tawna huffs annoyed glancing up to Team B's Balcony and see both Gajeel and Laxus chuckling.

"Why do we need ears!" Elie shouts taking off the cat headband and tossing it to the ground then glances to Tawna chuckling as well.

"Oh shut it," Tawna huffs crossing her arms, making the exceed giggle more.

"I feel absolutely ridiculous," Carla says with her real ear drooping. The magic begins to rise again around the girls changing their cloths with a flash. Tawna realizes what has appeared on her body, making her eye widen. Her bikini is replaced with black, very low-cut leather bottoms, that don't leave much to the imagination, and a matching leather cropped corset top, that only covers her chest, making her chest look two sizes bigger and her hair is tied up in a high ponytail.

"Bondage!" Chapati shouts as the sound of whips echo through the air from a few girls on the playing field.

"Oh, hell no!" Tawna shouts quickly dropping to the ground pulling her knees to her chest trying to cover her body. Out of everything that has happened today this is the most humiliating, especially since her brother and Macao are in the audience.

"Hey Tawna," an all too familiar voice yells nearby, "Do you and…"

"Cana, if you finish that sentence, I will punch you so hard that Gildarts will feel it!" Tawna threatens waving her fist at the cards wizard. Tawna can't help but glance up to Team B's seats, she catches Laxus's gaze and notices a slight smirk on his face making Tawna turn away blushing deeply. She just prays to Mavis that there will be a wardrobe change, saving her from this humiliation.

"Now for a Blushing bride competition!" Chapati announces, "Ladies grab a lucky guy to finish the look!" The flash of magic changes the bondage looks into a field filled with white gowns. Tawna's leather is traded for a sleeveless, high necked bodice covered lace, curving into a high-low skirt hitting about mid-thigh in the front and the back flows into a small train, white thigh high heels, and pin straight hair flowing down her back.

"Not bad," Tawna nods looking at her dress, it may not be traditional like the rest of the gowns on the playing field, but it suits her. Looking at the arena, many of the men have been brought down in tuxedos and pairing off with the girls. As expected Hibiki and Jenny are posing together, and Mira has grabbed Gramps to be her escort. Tawna continues to scan the crowd when her eyes land on Laxus who is striding towards her, done up in a black tux with a dark blue tie.

Taking his spot next to his petite girlfriend, he drapes his arm over her shoulders and pulls her close to his side. He's not one for other men to be gawking at his girl, so he didn't hesitate coming down here.

"This has been humiliating," Tawna sighs hugging around his waist and burring her face into his chest, "Why did you let Erza take me." She sighs pulling away.

"Sorry Babe," Laxus chuckles, "You can't argue with a threat like Erza made, you'll thank me later," He says smirking adding a wink, "You know," He says leaning down to whisper in her ear, "I still wasn't to keen on the idea of other guys looking at you." He whispers making Tawna smirk, she can hear it in his voice, he's jealous.

'Oh, is Jealous Laxus coming back out?" Tawna flirts. She catches a slight blush creep onto his cheeks but still accompanied by a smirk, "Oh it is." Tawna teases chuckling. Laxus sighs and glances down to her feels his blue deepen.

"Um, the dress looks good on you," he says blushing, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Thanks," Tawna blushes, she forgot for a moment that she was in a wedding dress.

"Hey!" Cana shouts to the couple, "When's the wedding?" She laughs making Tawn and Laxus roll their eyes.

"How dare you not ask permission first!" Macao shouts shaking his fist from the guilds seats, after hearing the Drunks taunt causing other questions to come from the guild directed at them.

"Dad, calm down!" Romeo sighs annoyed holding back the older wizard.

"Oooo, I'll help plan it!" Mira adds sweetly.

"We're not getting married!" Tawna and Laxus shout annoyed quieting the guilds noise. Tawna rolls her eyes and leans against the wall behind them.

"I'm so over this competition," Tawna huffs, " and I'm gonna kill Cana, thanks to her the girls are gonna ask about wedding plans for the next 5 months." She sighs knowing her fellow guild mates.

"You can fight her later," Laxus chuckles, "she may be a pain, but I think she likes teasing you about this stuff." He laughs.

"Tell me about it," Tawna rolls her eyes then leans her head against his arm. She can't help but see the chaos that is a bunch of girls in a wedding dresses. Lyon and Gray are fighting over Juvia, Elie and Lily have paired off, each with their own blush on their cheeks, and Lucy and Natsu have sort of paired off. Well, kind of, Loke made Lucy slam into Natsu making them both tumble to the floor. Suddenly the bell rings signaling for the change of outfit.

"Now that the wedding is over, lets on with another swimsuit." Chapati states, when a shout is heard from Lamia Scale. Everybody's eyes widen when they see the Old Hag of Lamia Scale jump down into the course in her own bathing suit, making jaws drop, and not in a good way. Transformation magic fades and everyone's, wedding attire changes back into their normal clothes.

"With that," Tawna states shaking her head trying to get that picture out of her head, "I'm out of here." She says turning to leave with the other participants. She grabs Laxus's hand and they stride back to the balcony with Gajeel and Juvia right behind them.

"Well that was dumb," Gajeel states grossing his arms.

"You're telling me," Tawna laughs.

"I thought it was fun," Juvia smiles leaning against the railing.

"You chose to go down there," Tawna points out, "I was dragged down there then harassed by Cana the entire time," She says rolling her eyes as they all turn their attention back to the game. Mira and Jenny both stand in their normal dresses in the middle of the field.

"Well since the circus has cleared out, how about we make a bet," Jenny states placing her hand on her hip. At this point in the "fight" Jenny and Mira are tied and they only have time for one more challenge. "Loser has to pose for Sorcerer Weekly nude," Jenny wagers, making half the men in the crowd lose their mind.

"You're on," Mira smiles sweetly, causing more chaos to ensue for agreeing.

"It's time for the final round," Chapati struggles to speak after hearing the bet terms, "It is Combat Gear." Jenny smirks thinking she has the bet won, as she transforms into an armored suit.

"Jenny better start stripping," Tawna laughs, knowing what Mira has up her sleeves.

"How about we continue with another trend," Mira says as her magic energy begins to blow around her, "let end this in a battle of strength." She finishes as her ultimate Satan Soul transformation is complete, Satan Soul Sitri.

"Huh?" Jenny stutters seeing the She devil come closer.

"I agreed to your terms," Mira says in her deepened Satan voice, "I expect you to agree to mine!" Mira charges, and with one blow to the Blue Pegasus model, Jenny drops.

"And just like that, Mirajane take the win!"

"Yeah!" Tawna and Juvia shout excited. Team B just jump ahead in the competition, leaving Team A behind.

"I didn't know she had it in her," Gajeel states impressed.

"She's brutal," Laxus states, "that's why you want to stay on her good side." He admits.

"Trust him, Laxus knows from experience," Tawna chuckles receiving a glare from Laxus only making her laugh harder. "Sorry," She chuckles hugging him.

"That was impressive," Juvia smiles as Mira steps back with her team.

"Thanks," She says smiling, "It was a little embarrassing though."

"You're telling me," Tawna huffs still annoyed she got dragged into that fiasco. "It must have felt good to throw a punch though."

"Yeah and now we are at 24 points," Laxus states, "We have ten more points than Natsu's team."

"That shouldn't come as a surprise," Tawna laughs leaning against Laxus's side. Mira smiles at the dragon slayer, but can't help but ask the question.

"So, when's the big day?" She giggles.

"We're not getting married," the two dragon slayers shout once more causing laughter to radiate through the team

"Awe, but you two looked so cute," Mira smiles sweetly.

"That's it," Tawna says cracking her knuckles, "I'm killing Cana!" She shouts trying to head out the door.

"Tawna no," Laxus says trying to hold her back, making the rest of the team let out a loud laughter after a long day of the Grand Magic Games.
