Here we are again, oh sorry maybe my mind snapped at this point but now I'm starting to think me and Ghirahim are in here for the long haul. Of course if he keeps entertaining himself with my body I might start enjoying it here, a little too much that is. I regarded him cautiously, clearly it was in my best interest to keep on the far side of the cell.
"So about your powers?" I asked, leadingly. His gaze slowly met mine, a half-smile graced his face before he sighed.
"Very well," Ghirahim replied, seemingly exasperated. "Ask away, I will answer, mostly."
"What all are you capable of doing at this very moment?" I asked. "I know normally you can teleport, reanimated creature? Or was that boss a robot? Anyway, I know you can remove clothing, change your form.. anything I'm missing."
"Hmm," Ghirahim seemed intrigued. "Lots more but you asked what I can do currently, yes?" I nodded. "Of course I can do very little of what I used to be able to do. As you know I can still remove articles of clothing and cast minor spells. I don't have access to some of my more potent abilities, such as teleportation sadly."
"Oh, guess she made sure there was no escape," I replied.
"Indeed," Ghirahim replied. I couldn't help but think he was hiding something though, not sure why but I just felt like maybe he wasn't telling me the whole truth. "Interested in an escape I presume?"
"Considering I've never been a fugitive and don't really plan to start now," I replied. "Not really, parlay may yet bring me freedom. Maybe that is, but then again they think I'm a spy. Yay me I can't catch a break, still this will make an excellent Fanfiction. Just imagine, Author captured by the good guys and stuck in a cell with infamous villain."
"Little long for a title," Ghirahim chided.
"Oh no that's just the description.." I answered. "Not sure about a title though.. Maybe Rabbitzan Travels to Hyrule.. or something like that."
"Hmm not bad," Ghirahim seemed to be in thought. "But perhaps A Girl's Fantasy Made Dark Reality might fit better hmm?"
"Huh," I said, eloquently. "I can see that.. Wait-a-minute how did you know this was my fantasy?"
"A wild guess, if you will," Ghirahim replied. Hmm, he wasn't looking at me, He knows something that isn't being said again? Can he read my mind? Holy crap if he can I'm in some serious trouble. I don't normally have control over what I think but if he could see all the overly lewd images in my mind.. I shook my head, no if he could read minds it would have been made very obvious in games.. right? I just don't know, so now maybe I should watch what I think. Can't have him peering in when I least expect it, especially when I'm undressing him with my eyes. Oh who am I kidding I can't stop any of the lewd images in my mind, even if it meant life or death. I looked over to spy Ghirahim staring at me. "A rupee for your thoughts? You seem quite conflicted."
"Ah ngh, erm, I'm alright," I finally managed to squeak out. Well at least he can't read my mind, I couldn't help but feel relieved. Wait is he just really good at reading people? I couldn't help but think back to the psychologists I had to speak to over the years. Perhaps he was well versed in such tactics.
"Link is coming down the stairs," Ghirahim mentioned. "I wonder how long he will stay this time." He suddenly sat a little straighter as though surprised about something. "Hmm joined by the Princess, how interesting." I listened closely but couldn't hear what he was hearing until a few moments later as the sound of footfalls reached my ears. And he came into view followed by the petite hylian woman, Princess Zelda.
"Hey y'all are back!" I said, excitedly. "Sorry don't mind me, I just can't believe I'm here, I'm still holding out hope that this is some kind of crazy dream honestly though, considering." Link gave me a sympathetic look, it was clear he still believed me to be innocent, thank goodness, it meant there was still hope.
"Y'all?" Zelda asked.
"Sorry, been down south too long where I'm from, got that southern drawl," I explained. "It basically means you all just shorter."
"Oh, hmm," Zelda replied, glaring at me with suspicion. I pouted, maybe I wasn't getting out anytime soon. "I still don't trust you."
"I know trust is hard to gain in y'alls world, after all," I began. "The last time someone came to your world from another he brought a whole army. Though honestly where I'm from, there are only humans and no magic of any kind. At least that's what I thought but that black hole has me wondering now." I gasped. "If they pulled me here, whoever they are, they could pull someone else here as well. What if my little sister or.. or my husband.. well let's be honest my husband would have a field day here, no joke. I digress, if someone ended up here and wasn't prepared for this place someone from my world could get seriously hurt, or die."
I wrapped my arms around myself and began to pace, I mean what if they targeted my little sister or someone else I care about. They could be in danger and my dream of my little brother dying could come true. No I can't let that happen, I have to find out who did this even if it kills me and I never make it back home.
"I have to find out who did this to me," I said, suddenly grabbing the bars. "If they bring anyone I care about here and.. and.."
"If someone brings them here, they will be fine." Link assured me. "I patrol the surface all the time when I'm not here. Trust me it wasn't a fluke that I found you." I nodded feeling somewhat assured that if they did come here they would be found. "Besides there haven't been any monsters outside this prison in years. Granted it is a mystery as to how you got here in the first place."
"Isn't it though," Ghirahim responded. "I can think of someone who may have had a hand in it."
"Oh really?" Zelda asked, suspiciously. "Who?"
"An old apprentice of mine," Ghirahim replied. He seemed rather unconcerned.
"But if that's true then.. Why me?" I asked. "I'm no one special, I don't got any powers or anything. I'm just an average everyday human woman." I watched as Ghirahim's tongue traced his lips.
"You are indeed," Ghirahim replied. I shivered a bit as I remembered some of the more, erotic things that tongue had done earlier. At least my insomnia wasn't causing my sleepless nights here, oh no that was all Ghirahim's fault for sure. Although I most certainly can't complain about it, so hott.
"Please don't tell me I'm part of this guys master plan or something," I was now glaring at Ghirahim suspiciously. He laughed.
"Not likely," Ghirahim replied. "You being summoned here was probably a fluke, a flaw in his spell may have caused it to occur."
"Great I really am a mistake," I began. All three of them were giving me an odd look. "Never-mind it's not important. We.. or y'all should find this guy before he summons what he really wanted to summon. I don't even wanna think about what could happen if he is trying to summon in reinforcements or something." Zelda's glare softened, was she beginning to see I am not the enemy now?
"She's right," Link replied. "If this apprentice is out there, we need to find and apprehend him fast."
"Of course," Zelda replied. "Let's go!" And off the two went leaving me and Ghirahim alone once again.
"Don't think I haven't noticed you avoiding me," Ghirahim suddenly said. I jumped and spun around.
"Look I only.." I began but stopped as I saw the teasing smile. I stuck my tongue out and blew a raspberry at him for his efforts. He only laughed and leaned in to steal my breath away. If he kept this up I would die of exhaustion or something for sure. He pulled away with a smile, it seemed a bit sad though.
"As much I enjoy the company, I know it can't last," Ghirahim whispered. "Sooner or later you will be free and I will still be stuck here."
"Ghirahim," I whispered back. Crap he was making me sad thinking about leaving the cell. "And if I don't get released?"
"Then my long life will far out-shadow yours," Ghirahim replied. And then he was kissing me again, this time it lasted so long I thought the world would crumble at our feet. I wanted it to last longer, longer than the ages so he would always remember me. And wait a minute, does Ghirahim have feelings for me? Or is he just worried about being lonely again? He pulled away again, this time he moved back to his side of the cell, looking rather melancholy.
"I don't want you to be stuck here," I suddenly blurted out. Ghirahim looked at me in obvious surprise. "It's not right, I know you did something bad by trying to steal the triforce but you shouldn't have to be trapped here."
"Hmm, how right you are," Ghirahim replied. I looked up to see him grinning. "So how about that escape plan then hmm?" I gawked at him, did he just toy with my emotions to get me involved in a jail break? I couldn't help but feel a little impressed as well as a little hurt at the same time. I mean who did he think I was some kind of expert on breaking out? Not that it mattered honestly. And then I did the most despicable thing ever, I actually started to think about it.
"I can see about a hundred ways that this could go wrong," I replied. "Why do I still want to be out there looking for that guy though? I'm not even sure how we would get out.." I started pacing back and forth in my panicked state. It wasn't until I was pulled into Ghirahim's arms that I even realized he was trying to calm me down.
"It was a silly idea," he whispered. I frowned, despite how silly it was I still wanted to get him out of this dungeon. "Besides I already know how I'm getting out."
"What?" I asked, incredulously. He chuckled but didn't elaborate, surely he wasn't so sure of himself that he could escape and stay out. Or was he? I pushed the concerning thoughts from my mind and then something more pressing entered my thoughts. Why hadn't I needed to use the restroom yet? "Hey um.. what all does that spell of yours do?"
"Which one?" Ghirahim asked dodging the question.
"The one that trans.. wait a minute.. which..? That's not what I wanted to ask," I sighed before stepping out of his arms. "I noticed there are no bathrooms but.."
"You won't have to worry about that," Ghirahim replied. I opened my mouth but shut it immediately. "I cast a spell to help translate but I also secretly cast another while you were asleep. Of course had I remembered human biological needs sooner I would have cast it sooner.
"What does the spell do?" I blurted out without thinking. Ghirahim grinned and I suddenly got a strange feeling I wouldn't like what he had to say about it. "Never mind, I don't really want to know, not having to go to the bathroom is fine by me.. for now."
"You will need to use the bathroom within a week or so," Ghirahim offered. I frowned at that, so that meant I had a week of not having to use the bathroom. Better than needing to go everyday, I supposed. Also less concerning than not needing to go ever.. I let the thoughts trail away, this isn't the time to dwell.
"So how do you plan on getting out anyway?" I asked.
"It's a secret.." he dodged. I scowled at him but couldn't hold it, as he was looking at the stairs once more. I looked but didn't really see anything, then I frowned listening as hard as I could for any amount of sound but there was a whole lotta notta (lot of nothing). "You should rest while you can, it may be some time before they return."
"Yeah I don't think I can sleep right now," I sighed.
"Very well continue," Ghirahim suggested. "Link gets the Ocarina of Time and.." I grin and tell him everything I know about it, especially the tidbit about the guard. Hey he did ask for everything before, not just some simple explanation. Anyway I told him everything I knew from the games then on through the forest temple and fire temple, I was halfway through the water temple when I finally got sleepy. I yawned and was nearly immediately tucked into the makeshift bed and cuddled. It wasn't too long, before I was out like a light.
~:~
I woke but it was to the sound of talking, Ghirahim was speaking but I wasn't really listening to him. I jerked when I heard Link speak though and sat straight up, I made a small squeak when a blanket was wrapped around me.
"Seems you have both been quite entertained here," Link commented. I heard Ghirahim sigh, I had no idea what Link was talking about. Though as I looked down, I noted that I was once again naked, when did that happen?
"She looked uncomfortable," Ghirahim explained. I frowned as I tried to figure it out in my head, we didn't have that much fun last night. If we had then I must have slept right through it, which is a real shame. "She was itching in her sleep." I blushed, I don't remembered a case of the itchies but maybe.
"I see," Link replied. "and she didn't complain?"
"She was asleep," Ghirahim huffed, off-hand.
"You are a piece of work you know that?" Link said, I could almost hear the disappointment and maybe a little anger. "Taking advantage of a helpless human woman."
"I don't know, she seems really into me," Ghirahim replied. I spun at that to see them both regarding me, I stuck my tongue out and blew a raspberry at them. "Hmph, so childish."
"Yeah well you asked for it!" I replied, trying to sound a little upset. "Where are my clothes?" Ghirahim snapped his fingers and I felt cloth press to my skin. I looked down just to be sure, yep I was dressed.
"If Zelda catches you, she'll seal your powers again." Link said.
"Wait, you knew?" I asked Link.
"I know he's regained some of his powers, It was how he tricked me into a compromising position the last time," Link replied. I blushed, damn that's tricksy but so hott. "You.. are coming with me." I blinked a couple of times before I realized he was speaking to me.
"Me?" I asked. I heard Ghirahim chuckle and watched a small smirk appear on Link's face.
"Yes, Ghirahim is staying however," Link said.
"Fine, Fine leave me here to languish," Ghirahim replied, he sounded melancholy. I held back my own sadness but I was certain the frown was plain as day on my face. Cheer up, he will realize he needs me..I flinched a bit before realizing the voice was in my head, I couldn't help but glare at Ghirahim, the demon only smiled at me and waved. I was nearly dragged out of the cell.
"If you want I could always just bring you back here," Link said, I looked over at him in a bit of a panic.
"You're joking right?" I asked. I saw him smiling at me, almost as though he weren't being serious.
"Maybe," he replied, grinning more.
"I really dun wanna," I said. Link laughed at that.
"Come on," he replied still chuckling a bit as he ushered me up the stairs. Once out of the dungeon area, he led me through a small room and up another flight of stairs. At the top of these was a small torch-lit room with a table and some chairs. I sat down in one and then Link was speaking, and I realized I couldn't understand him anymore.
"You gotta be kidding me," I said. Link stopped talking immediately, he looked irritated and yelled about something. I sat frozen and very afraid. "I'm sorry." I said in a small voice. The male turned to look at me then before approaching. He patted my shoulder then pointed to me and then to the table, he did this two times then backed out of the room. I crossed my legs and waited, it was obvious that was what he had wanted so I waited. It was a little while before Link returned with Ghirahim, Ghirahim was shackled however.
"Do you need me after all hero?" Ghirahim asked.
"Apparently so," Link said.
"Oh.. Great, I should be surprised but honestly," I said. "Considering how notorious he was in the game, I'm just somehow not surprised."
"How notorious was he?" Link asked.
"Well when I first saw him while playing as the main character, you," I pointed at Link. He smiled then frowned but waved for me to go on. "He was trying to break the door down with his sword but stopped as I approached. Sorry prolly gunna be saying this in first person cause in the game you know. It's immersive."
"It's fine go ahead," Link replied, with a little chuckle.
"Okay well Ghirahim spouts off something about how his tornado failed to kill you and how insignificant you were etc etc," I glanced over to see Ghirahim grin at that. I obviously was at least close. "I remember laughing at what he said, I thought how hard could this be he's not even a boss fight. Keep that thought of mine in mind cause later, Mm-mm. Anyway he starts talking about Princess Zelda and how he plucked her from the sky then says he being uncivil. And then, only then, does he introduce himself as Demon Lord, Ghirahim. But that he prefers to be called by his full title Lord Ghirahim, then he has the nerve to say he's not fussy." Link full on laughed at this.
"Well I'm not fussy," Ghirahim replied, indignantly.
"Anyway it cuts to show you glaring at him and that's where you draw your sword," I replied. "Anyway I clearly remember this because of one reason, he asks if you just drew your sword, which you did, then calls you a foolish boy. I'm pretty sure you were not a mere boy, maybe a teen or almost adult but I honestly believe that that's just how tall Hylian's are. Sorry I just think Hylian's are short compared to.. well.. yeah." Ghirahim chose this moment to laugh.
"Short?" Link asked.
"Well not compared to me, I know I am short," I replied. Link laughed at that. "Anyway, he continues to talk and I can't help but think that this is the longest, a bad guy has ever monologued for in the Zelda franchise. Anyway he was mad about how she was snatched away by impa. What was it that he said..? Furious? Outraged? Sick with anger? Something along those lines." I looked to see that Ghirahim was now fully focused on me.
"Of all of that, that was what you chose to remember?" Ghirahim asked, incredulously.
"Well it was odd and a little.. repetitive?" I replied, with a question mark. "I wasn't too sure but those words and phrase seemed like synonyms of each other."
"Fair point," He replied.
"Anyway, he teleported and this is when I started to worry a little," I said. "I was like okay he can um.. teleport, maybe more challenging than I first anticipated. But when he stalked up behind you and grabbed you by the shoulder, I was wondering if they were going for a scare tactic or something. Anyway he says something about how unfair it would be to murder you so he promised not to kill you outright.. No he would just beat you within an inch of your life. The next bit took me by surprise, he actually stuck his tongue way way out. And that was what started my fanfic involving you two. Anyway he uses his power to remove his.. what do you call it? Cloak?"
"Wait wait wait.." Link was saying, interrupting my fast paced overzealous speech.
"Yes go back to that other part about the fan fic, what is that?" Ghirahim asked.
"Fan fic?" Link asked at the same time.
"Fan fic is a Fan-made Fictional Story that never happened in real life," I answered. "That's not my point though, the battle is about to start here.."
"No, no you do not get to deflect," Ghirahim replied. "What did you write precisely?"
"I already told you though," I complained.
"For Link's benefit," Ghirahim remarked.
"Do I want to know?" Link asked.
"No, you absolutely don't want to know," I replied.
"Sure he does," Ghirahim replied, with a grin. I put my face in my hands and regretted all my life decisions.
"Just tell me what it is about," Link said, a little irritated.
"Fine but once I tell you, it will forever be stuck in your mind," I warned. I placed my hands on the table and looked into his eyes. "It's based way way into the future well beyond the events of Ocarina of Time." I wanted to set the stage and put them on the edge of their seats. It seemed to be working as they leaned in, my enthusiasm and dramatic monologue was actually pulling them in. "Which is way way in the future for you. In my fan fiction you were orphaned, as per the usual, well that usually seemed to be an occurrence for you. I hadn't really written out what happened to your parents, cause no one in the games ever said. But anyway, Ganondorf returned, he is also known as the Reincarnation of Demise."
"Okay," Link replied, unsurprised.
"Well Fi decides to make a deal with Ghirahim whom she had sealed along with Demise, obviously not what had happened," I motioned to Ghirahim for emphasis. "And he seeks you out, finds you in a village the spitting image of what you look like now and is suddenly very concerned that you would recognize him. Spoiler alert, you don't because you were reborn, etc. Anyway he ends up helping you save this little kitty in a tree for a little girl, adorable, but he promptly disappears before you can thank him. Meanwhile Ghirahim had taken off for a much needed breather, because he hadn't expected you to look exactly the same." Link grinned at this.
"Really?" he asked.
"Well yeah, plus he had some feelings about not wanting to well.. go on this journey in the first place. The only reason he ends up going, is because he has convinced himself that he wants revenge on his previous master," I rambled, my hands waving about as I continued. "Anyway, and I am paraphrasing here, he ends up saving you from these bokoblins, cause you went looking for him to thank him and that's when he tells you, your destiny. You pick up a sword from the village and both head out to Castle Town, for lack of a better name for it. To warn Princess Zelda, you end up making it there and get met by Impa, keep that in mind for later, and do some training. You end up learning how to summon Ghirahim's sword form but he winds up looking hella different than what he did when he was Demises sword, but you didn't know that, I only added that bit for the readers."
"You didn't say anything about my appearance having changed," Ghirahim complained.
"Well I also didn't really have to explain this much of it," I admonished. "Also I really like talking about it, but it never happened is the point, I'm not even finished with it."
"Hmm still something you aren't saying," Ghirahim teased. "But I will let you get back to detailing our fight yes?" I cleared my throat.
"Yeah, anyway, this fight took me seven tries to do even remotely decent enough, passable job," I said in exasperation. "Seven freakin' tries, all because I couldn't figure out how to keep you from grabbing the sword and tossing it away from me." Ghirahim laughed at that. Link's head was in his hands and his shoulders clenched as he was obviously trying not to laugh. "I had to look it up, apparently when you get close to your opponent you let your guard down long enough for me to land a few blows. And trust me, I landed a bunch before you leaped away. It was pay back for all the pain and suffering."
"Only an empath would feel pain for a fictional person," Ghirahim teased, sarcastically.
"Not funny.." I groaned, as Link was now laughing openly.
"Well do not feel bad, he did take my sword a few times during the battle," Link replied. "I was far from perfect when I first faced him."
"Anyway the other issue I had was dodging the attacks, eventually though I got into a rhythm and eventually. Kicked. Yo. Butt." I was speaking at Ghirahim now, with a little false irritation.
"Indeed, you seem much the persistent type," Ghirahim replied, grinning.
"Anyway, Ghirahim insults you some more before saying the only reason you lived was cause of Fi, so.. yeah," I said.
"How do you know so much of our world?" He asked. "Surely they didn't know everything."
"They knew a lot apparently, but I have a hypothesis about that," I said.
"Oh?" Ghirahim asked. "Enlighten us."
"I have a bit of a belief that everything ever written about, books, games, movies and other things are written about real places even if they are seemingly fictional places, It's the only way I can explain this, happening to me, right now." I paused, as I thought about everything that had happened. "I couldn't have ended up here, if this didn't exist. Unless I really am dreaming.." Ghirahim pinched me. "Ow.. that hurt.. Wait, is that a thing in y'alls realm to?"
"It is, pinching reassures us when we are dreaming and when we are not," Ghirahim replied.
"If this was a dream, how could we all be in it?" Link reasoned.
"There is a such thing as shared dreams, you know," I replied, irritated. "I outta know, me and a friend shared one it was weird as heck! Anyway, what did you drag me up here for?"
"Honestly, I was testing a hypothesis myself," Link answered. "I wanted to see if the spell was attached to you or Ghirahim. There was a dual reason however, I wanted to learn some more about your knowledge of our future."
"Wait, you don't think this might be why I was brought here do you?" I asked. He shrugged. "Dude there are way more folks who know more about y'all's lore than me, I'm like bottom of the barrel, sub-par fan here."
"Maybe not," Ghirahim suddenly spoke up. "He may have targeted you because of your fan-fiction, maybe your Fan-fiction could be an actuality in our future. Perhaps he even wanted to stop it."
"Really?" I asked, with disbelief. "I wasn't even the one who designed the previous games, who mind you knows waay more about you guys than I ever could."
"Yes but Ghirahim does have a point," Link replied. "You need to tell us more about this fan-fiction."
"I suppose but.." I began, but nervously didn't wish to spill the beans even to them. "You know Fan-fictions evolve right? Sometimes they deviate from the original idea and go a whole other route."
"Just tell us," Ghirahim urged. I sighed but started to go into more detail about the fan-fiction right down to bare-bone, outright spoilers. Something I would never even tell my fans, I watched Link's ears go red at some of the more intimate details and Ghirahim grinning a bit at my deviousness. Once I was finished I took a deep breath.
"Well that's basically what it's all about," I summarized. "I can only imagine what my fans will say when I cut out our conversation. The sheer disappointment of someone who wants spoilers and sheer joy of those who love the mystery."
"Oh that is most definitely evil," Ghirahim replied, with a grin. Link meanwhile was rubbing his temples, as he was still processing.
"Is it just me or is there a.. Processing.. Please wait.. stamped on his forehead?" I asked, then I remembered my audience. "Never mind, technology humor." This got a chuckle out of Ghirahim.
"Ghirahim, you were here at the beginning, right?" I asked.
"Yes, at the very beginning, why?" He questioned, obviously humoring me.
"What was your previous world like?" I asked, truly curious.
"Hmm," He looked to be thinking, was there something he didn't want us to know? Or was it just hard to describe. "It was inhospitable, desolate and full of despair. Many from my previous world sought this one as a new hope, my previous master saw it as a new thing to destroy and conquer."
"Oh," I whispered. "Did he destroy your world? And plunge into despair? or..?"
"I do not know, I was born into a world where he was already the master of all," Ghirahim replied. "No one lived to question him, not even I. All were made to serve or be crushed under the sheer might of Demise, he lived up to his namesake until the hero here."
"Yeah Link is pretty incredible, when he isn't some kid who's given too much to shoulder, at such a young age that is," I mentioned aloud.
"From Ocarina you mean," Ghirahim was grinning at me when I looked his way in irritation.
"Ocarina of Time, it has a full title too if you'd like to use it properly," I teased. "But I'm sure the game creator isn't picky."
"Oh ho, now I see how annoying that line can be," He replied, sarcastically. I grinned at his obvious mirth, then looked back at Link who was watching us curiously.
"Oh I think he finally loaded back in!" I said, excitedly. "Sorry more technology humor." Link chuckled a bit at that but shook his head.
"So about this Ocarina of Time?" Link asked. I let out a breath before nodding and catching Link up on what I had already told Ghirahim with much more paraphrasing then with the Demon Lord. I am certain I spoke for so long, that I was bone-tired from it and soon found myself yawning. "Alright, I'm not going to lock you back up, but you can't leave this tower either. There are rooms upstairs, a hearth and all the essentials you will need for tonight. Ghirahim will remain chained, but he can sleep in a separate room from you." He then looked pointedly at Ghirahim, "To afford her some privacy."
"Yes, yes," Ghirahim replied, nonchalantly.
"I mean it, no taking advantage of her," Link insisted. "I know how you are."
"I swear that I, Lord Ghirahim, will not take advantage of her," Ghirahim promised. Link sighed, clearly not believing it.
"I have to go and report in," Link said. "Grab a torch when you ascend." He then made his way back to the stairs and headed around the corner. I didn't get to see where he went but I did hear the tell-tale sound of a door opening and then closing somewhere below.
"So which way is up?" I asked, with another yawn. Ghirahim stood and grabbed a torch before motioning the way Link had went only turning toward the other direction. I nodded and followed, not really paying any attention to where we were going.
