Author's Note: Eyy, so we're getting closer to being all up to date again. The next few chapters are going to be a fair bit shorter than the last couple have been so yeah. Should be easier to stay on top of ha. Btw, I've like... half proofread this. I'll go back and double check spelling etc some other time.

Otherwise, hope you like this one. I enjoyed writing it. It was nice to write another overnight chapter and for it to be like a fun type of one.

Overnight in Trampoline Park

8:28pm

Gar withdrew from the camera, his eyes shifting left and right, making sure it wasn't about to fall from the tripod and crash to the ground. His fingers were splayed on both of his hands which were held out towards the lens, as if he had just let go with extreme care.

His tongue poked out from between his lips in concentration before he blinked, took a deep breath and fixed the customary smirk on his face,

"Wheyyy… Whaaat's up guys, it's me, Gar!" He straightened up and thrusted his arms wide, "And welcome back to my channel!"

Gar's happy expression only grew as he glanced to his left and then his right, before reverting all of his attention back on the camera pointed towards the five of them; a dimly lit parking lot in the background of the shot.

"And as… almost always, I'm here with my best pals and roommates, Vic, Kory, Dick and Raven." He added, lifting his shoulders to his ears; the faint sound of nylon rubbing being heard.

Gar wore a beanie on his head and a dark puffer jacket was wrapped around him, a hunter green scarf tucked around his neck with the beanie matching perfectly in colour. The trees beyond the fence of the parking lot rustled and swayed in the winter breeze of night, revealing to viewers just how bitter the December weather appeared to be in Jump city.

Beside him, Raven shivered and rubbed her gloved hands together in an attempt to increase her body temperature. She wore a neat, black pea coat that was buttoned right up to her chin and ended just above her knees which she was seemingly bouncing in an effort to keep her circulation flowing.

On the other side of Raven, Kory stood, wrapped up in polyester parka that was charcoal in colour and reached all the way down to her knees. A lighter, silver toned chunky knit snood was firmly secured around her neck as well, keeping her nice and warm as they stood in the parking lot, waiting for Gar to finish talking.

"You couldn't have chosen to film this part once we got inside?" Vic asked, his voice trembling here and there whilst he stood on Gar's other side; a puffy navy jacket on his top half. He had a light turquoise beanie pulled down over his head, right down to his eyebrows.

Vic ducked his head so that his chin slipped beneath the neck of the jacket and made a muffled sound to signify that he was very cold; something that Gar merely rolled his eyes at.

And lastly, standing on the other side of Vic was Dick, who had his head down and his hands shoved into the deep pockets of his midnight colour peacoat which was buttoned all the way up to his chin, with a thin smoke toned scarf around his neck as well.

He briefly lifted his head to glance across at Gar when he called his name and lifted his shoulders up, trying to retain any body heat that he could.

"No." Gar replied to Vic's question, "No, I couldn't."

He sniffled and turned his attention back towards the camera trained on the five of them as they continued to stand in the middle of the otherwise abandoned parking lot,

"Firstly guys… Merry Christmas! I hope you guys all had an awesome time with family or friends or whoever you spent the festive day with. We all went home to our families and then had Christmas together like 2 days after when we were all back in Jump." Gar explained, shrugging his shoulders, "This video is… kinda weirdly placed since it's New Years Eve tomorrow. But, I wanted to do something fun and something cool for this video. We're busy tomorrow since we're throwing a New Years Eve party at the house with the gang and few of our other friends; just something epic to end this year. So, yeah, not the best time for an overnight video since we still have a bunch of shit to do for the party but, we'll get it done tomorrow during the day."

Gar cleared his throat and the grin grew wider across his face, "So, tonight… as you probably know from the title of the video, we are gonna be staying overnight in a trampoline park!"

Vic raised his chin, "Yeaaah, woo… can we go inside now?" He asked, sarcasm dripping in his words,

"Dude, in a sec. I promise, I'm almost done." Gar vowed before he pulled a sheepish expression in the direction of the camera, "If you guys couldn't tell, it's super cold out right now since it's the middle of winter and also cos' it's night time."

"Gar… get on with it before Vic dies of frostbite." Raven advised, a small, teasing smirk on her lips.

"Okay, so this is gonna be hella fun for two reasons. A) This is totally legal and B) It's not some creepy ass place." Gar resumed, jerking his thumb in Dick's direction, "So, Dick's got a friend who owns this trampoline park and after me begging Dick for a few weeks to ask him about borrowing it for a night, he did and Dick's pal agreed!"

Dick chuckled from his spot in their lineup, "Yeah, he does partnerships with my acrobatics center occasionally but he did tell me to tell you Gar; you break it, you buy it."

Gar smirked, "Okay, okay. I'll keep it in mind. Still super cool that he said yes." He paused and threaded his own gloved fingers together, "So, we've already been to the store and collected a whole mess of snacky snacks for the night."

He pointed towards Raven and Kory as they lifted a few plastic bags full of food up into the sight line of the lens. Kory smiled and peered inside, her eyes lighting up at the treats within.

"And then Vic has blankets and pillows in the back of his car so we can be comfy since our mattresses are likely to be the trampolines themselves." Gar continued,

Vic snapped to attention at that and reached into the depths of his pocket, fishing out his car keys, "And on that note, I'm gonna go get them. I'm not traipsing out here when I'm sleepy as hell."

"True. If you can't take the cold now, you definitely won't when it's the early hours of the morning when it's way colder." Raven pointed out,

Marching off camera, Vic began heading towards his car, "Dick, can you gimme a hand, man?" He called when he was a short distance away,

"Sure." Dick agreed, crossing his arms over his chest and ambling in the same direction Vic had gone in.

Kory stepped around until she was on the other side of Gar, where Vic and Dick had previously been standing whilst Raven remained exactly where she was on her boyfriend's left side.

"Okay, and on that note… we should probably head inside cos' it's getting colder out here." Gar paused and turned towards Kory, "Has Dick got the keys on him?"

She nodded.

Gar turned back towards the camera and took a few steps closer, his smiling face filling the frame, "Alright, I'm gonna nab them from him since he'll be carrying blankets and pillows. See you guys in just a sec!"

With that, he clapped a hand over the lens, sending everything into darkness.

8:42pm

Gar grinned as he held the camera up in front of his face, the lens trained on him and his friends as they trudged into the main block of the building.

"Did you lock the door?" Vic mumbled to Dick who walked in last,

"Yeah. You never know. Some kids might think the lights being on means, 'come on in' and I don't think the guy who owns this place would appreciate that." Dick responded, stuffing the set of keys into his coat pocket.

"Alright guys… we're inside and it's so much warmer in here oh my God." Gar admitted,

Kory beamed and hugged herself, "Mmm… I feel so toasty now!"

Raven began to shrug herself out of her coat, with Kory following suit and sliding her arms out of her long coat.

Gar kept his eyes on the camera as he unzipped his own jacket and let it fall from his top half and onto the floor.

"See, guys. I think we were only so cold cos' we're wearing workout clothes." Gar told them, lifting the camera higher to show their individual outfits.

Wearing a thin lime hoodie, which masked his shape, Gar shifted and showed off the white running shorts he had on his lower half. He had white ankle socks adorning his feet, having kicked off his sneakers on the way into the building.

Just behind him, Kory stretched her arms above her head, showing off her own outfit consisting of a baby blue racer back vest which loosely hung upon her frame, with a black, fitted sports bra underneath, the skin of her back partially visible from how the vest sat. She wore a pair of black yoga pants that were cropped just below her knees with some white ankle socks on her feet as well.

She cleared her throat and pulled at her hair which was tied in a high ponytail, to prevent it getting in her face whilst they spent the night jumping from trampoline to trampoline.

Vic hung back behind the rest of them, dropping the pillows and blankets near the entrance of this particular part of the building. He had removed his outerwear too and wore a white wife beater, showing off his bulky physique quite nicely. On his lower half, he wore a pair of running shorts that were similar in style to Gar's but they were a deep peacock colour instead.

He pressed a hand flat against the wall by the door they had wandered in through and slid his feet out of his sneakers, so that he stood just in his black ankle socks.

Raven glanced around, her eyebrows raised at the room Gar had yet to show off, before she reached back and added her coat to the pile they had created. Across her torso, she wore a speckled grey, off the shoulder top that was soft and loose on her petite frame. She wore a tight black vest top underneath, the straps peaking over her shoulders where her skin was showing. Black fitted yoga pants adorned Raven's bottom half and she had a pair of ankle socks on her feet that matched in colour as well.

She left her hair in its usual manner, considering how short it was but she did have a thin headband pushed through her purple tinted locks, as to keep any flyaways from her eyes.

Dick briefly scanned the room from behind Gar as the five of them filtered into the foyer of the main section. He had been to the place a number of times before and so once he had removed his coat, just like the others, he stood there and patiently waited for Gar to continue with the video.

He wore a simple, short sleeved, white t-shirt which was slightly baggy on his toned torso, revealing the muscle of his upper arms from his own work on fitness and gymnastics. On his legs, Dick merely wore a standard pair of cuffed, rhino coloured sweatpants and a pair of white socks on his feet.

Gar's mouth was hanging open as he held the camera up, keeping all of them in the shot as they hovered behind him, "Guys! This place is sick!"

"Look at this place, man…" Vic murmured from where he stood beside Gar, with a similar expression of awe.

Flicking his forest eyes straight down the center of the camera lens, Gar snorted and grinned, "Oh, right. Would probably help to turn you guys around to see how awesome this place is."

With that, the camera wobbled and twisted, the image blurred and spinning as Gar frantically moved the device around until the camera faced the trampoline park in front of them.

A multitude of colours washed over the mostly pristine white walls; smears of pink, orange, blue and toxic green splashed here and there. They were bold and bright, intending to catch people's eyes as soon as they entered and cause them to become energised and pumped up by the pure vivid aesthetic.

The main room they were in was absolutely massive, with the dark floor covered with apparatus' and equipment for fitness as well as fun. The roof was high above their heads; so high that none of them would have any hope of bouncing up and being able to touch the beams that held the structure with their fingertips.

As Gar panned the camera from the left to the right, several individual netted trampoline rectangles all lined up against each other, with a single basketball hoop at the end, pinned to the walled area, creating a neat little 'slam dunk' area, with a rack of basketballs just situated behind the whole section which could be used for countless games.

In the left hand corner of the huge space, there was one of the two main trampoline areas. Rows and rows of springy squares, surrounded by a big safety net that ran around the overall edge were set up. There were soft flaps that covered the edges of the singular trampoline pads; all an extreme orange tone and wrapped in vinyl, leaving the trampolines looking flawless. On the side wall of the area, there were more trampolining surfaces, structured into the walls, allowing for all kinds of tricks and fun. There were a few big soft block shapes, scattered between the squares which again, could be used for training purposes or even just practice for fun routines.

Separated by the carpeted walkway, the middle of the space, towards the back of the building was one of the two foampits, littered with lemon yellow and lime green sponge cubes, soft enough to break users falls if they were jumping in or testing out risky flips.

In the centre of the first foam pit were two padded beams that went reached from one side of the pit to the other which happened to be 'Battle Beams' from the sign on the equipment as Gar briefly zoomed in to get a better look.

With another walkway in between that and the second foam pit, which was full to the brim of pale blue and hot pink sponge cubes, Gar zoomed in on the rock climbing wall that stretched all the way up the wall behind the foam pit which was strategically placed for anyone who may slip and fall. The blow would always be cushioned by foam cubes.

The rock climbing wall went extremely high and Gar slowly tilted the camera upwards in order to record the true height of it.

Clearing his throat from behind the camera, Gar murmured, "You guys… isn't this so cool? I mean, during the day when there's other people and kids here, it's like… still cool but not this cool. We have this whole place to ourselves for the entire night!"

As Gar finished panning away from the dual foampits and rock climbing wall, he captured some of the secondary set of interconnected trampoline rectangles, protected yet again by black netting that ran mostly all around the large square of trampolines, like some type of secure wall.

But, unlike the first trampoline section, the secondary one had a wall missing which backed straight onto the platform before the second foampit, utilising the ability to bounce straight into the pit; again, helpful for those uncertain about learning twists and flips.

It was practically identical to the first otherwise, with the bouncy wall and large vinyl covered soft shapes dotted across the area for leaping across and over.

Finally, Gar exhaled but made a small noise of excitement before he jostled the camera and turned it until the lens was facing him and the others like it had been before.

His eyes lit up and Gar's grin took up his entire face, "Ooooo! Guys! This is gonna be so much fun. I can't even wait. I don't even know what we should do first."

"Well, isn't it lucky we have… all night, then." Raven reminded him, sarcastically smirking from where she stood at his side with her arms crossed over her chest.

He pulled a face at her but chuckled before he jerked his thumb over his shoulder, "Oh, by the way… there is more of this place but this room is by far the most interesting. There's uh… the lobby where you first come through the main doors. There's a reception desk and whole bunch of lockers for putting your stuff but we don't have to do that tonight since it's not during open hours."

"Wow, I've never felt so special." Vic joked, grinning from Gar's other side to where Raven was stills standing, her eyes checking over the place,

"Then there are toilets and a staircase that leads straight up to the cafe which we'll see later on tonight when we need to eat. In the hallway just there, it leads off to the girls and the boys lockerrooms." Gar continued, waving his hand in Vic's direction in a way of telling him to, 'shoo', "But, of course, we'll be staying in the amazing trampoline cages as in blankets on the bouncy parts."

Dick snorted, "You make it sound so luxurious, Gar."

Gar smirked and rolled his eyes before glancing back at the lens of the camera, "Seriously, how awesome is this you guys?" He paused and his hunter green eyes shifted back towards Dick who hovered beside him with his arms crossed, "Y'know, I'm just gonna put it out there but this is way cooler than Dick's centre."

The dark haired man in question scoffed and narrowed his cerulean eyes at Gar, "What?"

"You've never let me film anything at your place."

Dick floundered and his arms fell away from his chest, "You've never asked me, Gar." He paused and shook his head, "Besides, mine is completely different to this. My centre is for practice and refining skills in line with acrobatic work and gymnastics; for specialty abilities. This is targeted at a similar audience but… it's different."

Gar shrugged his shoulders, "I'm still not hearing a reason why you wouldn't let me film anything there."

Dick lifted an eyebrow, "You call it boring. All the time."

Letting an abashed chuckle slip from his lips, Gar grinned and angled the camera so it was more so just recording him, rather than the entire group. He placed his free hand on his hip and tilted his head to the side slightly, "So… is all the stuff in here?"

"Yeah, the blankets and pillows are all down there, by the entrance hall." Vic confirmed,

Raven spoke from just behind her boyfriend, "And the snacks are also over there."

Gar's grin widened and filled his whole face, pulling the camera back out again to capture them all once more, "So… what should we do first guys?"

9:26pm

The camera's shot shook a little from where Gar had carefully fixed it into the corner of the trampoline caging, strategically angling it so that it captured a wide frame of the five of them as they bounced across from bed to bed.

Kory bounced between two trampoline rectangles, twirling in the air and giggling to herself as she moved; freely jumping around like a carefree child would. Raven bounced on just the one, turning and smiling over at Kory's antics, but otherwise, pacing herself to something simple yet fun.

Vic bounced across several beds before he paused and took a breath, sprinting towards the edge of the trampoline cage that had no netted wall. He threw himself into a jump just before reaching the edge and drew his knees up, cannonballing into the pit of foam cubes, disappearing for a long moment before his head popped up and he grinned at the others.

Gar pointed over at Vic from where he was jumping on one of the trampoline beds in the centre of them all, with the girls doing their own thing behind him, a couple of rows back.

"Oh! I need to try that, man!" He yelled, his voice echoing off of the walls of the building,

"It's so fun, dude. I honestly thought I'd just fall flat on top of the cubes but hell, I slipped through like quicksand." Vic chuckled from where he was still lounging, amongst all of the foam cubes.

"Okay, move, move… I want a turn but… I don't wanna end up landing on you." Gar snorted,

"Ite, gimme a sec then…" Vic replied, wading through the foam pit until he got back to the edge of the trampolines. He shot his arms up and planted his palms flat on the vinyl covering before he heaved himself up and out.

Gar bit his bottom lip in anticipation, fidgeting as he waited for Vic to be completely clear of the landing zone. Once he was, Gar lightly bounced on his toes, increasing his height until he had a fair amount of momentum in his jump.

He flailed his arms around in an attempt to get even higher and turned his body slightly before he took a leap off of the edge of the trampoline and performed a B-twist, straight threw the air and landing in the mess of foam.

His head popped up almost immediately after with a loud, "Woo!" escaping his mouth,

Vic gave into a belly laugh and leaned over from where he was sat on the edge, his leg danging over, "Right?"

"Dude, that's awesome!" Gar chuckled, following Vic's lead and hauling himself back out of the pit, after shimmying through the soft cubes.

As he stood up on the springy bed, Gar glanced over at Dick, who was away with his own tricks and flips.

Gar stood there, his arms folded across his chest as he watched Dick bouncing higher than any of them had been. His legs were together and straight as an arrow, with his toes pointed towards the trampoline.

He drew his knees up and fell backwards, doing a back tuck before cleaning landing on his feet, continuing with another 2 bounces before he fell into a hack flip, moving across the space of the trampoline base.

Dick continued to jump, spinning around to change things up a little before he gained momentum once again by continuing to bounce higher before he leaned back and tucked his knees up, grabbing his ankles and pulling back so that he thrust his stomach and torso outward, completing a rodeo move.

As he landed and bounced several more times, Dick ran a hand through his hair as he turned a few times. He fell onto his back in what appeared to be a simple backdrop but Dick took it one step further and bounced, his legs going over his head into a kaboom.

His feet touched the trampoline again and he stood, bouncing to keep the adrenaline going before he threw himself into the wall bed, ricocheting off of it and completing a spin. He gracefully landed before he bounced a number of times to regain the height he had lost and when he was at his peak, he completed a backward somersault with 3 twists, making it all look incredibly easy from where the others were standing.

"Dick, quit showing us up, man." Gar scoffed, with Vic nodding his agreement from where he stood just beside Gar.

Slowing his movement, Dick chuckled and eased into a slow, casual bounce instead and he tilted his head at the two of them, "What? It's not my fault that I'm just… good at this stuff."

Vic snorted, "I see you're goin' with the humble route, then."

Dick smirked, "Hey, I have acrobatics and gymnastics under my belt. What'd you think I was gonna do when we got here?"

In response, Gar sprinted over to the trampoline bed adjacent to where Dick was performing his tricks and twists. He bounced several times, matching how Dick had been prepping himself whilst Vic followed suit and found a nearby trampoline section and began doing the exact same thing.

Gar was gathering momentum, moving his arms to help himself get higher, "Hey Rae! Can you be our judge on who does the best flip?!"

Raven was laying on her back on her own trampoline rectangle near Kory, who was doing seat drops and turning them into swivel hips with her brows knitted together and her tongue poking out in concentration.

Lifting an arm into the air, Raven waved him off and mumbled, "Uh huh. Sure."

Gar narrowed his eyes, skeptical on whether or not his girlfriend would actually watch but decided to get on with it.

He huffed and exhaled slowly as his hoodie moved with him as he bounced up and down. When he had reached a decent height, he jumped forward and did a full front somersault before stretching his arms and legs outward like he was going to drop onto his stomach before quickly tucking his head in and bouncing down onto his back, before doing another forward somersault and landing on his feet.

Gar panted and stuck his arms out like a gymnast would do after completing a successful routine, "Boom! I can't believe I actually stuck the landing on that."

Even Kory appeared to have paused in her own fun to watch the boys compete to see who performed the best flip as she whistled from her spot and clapped her hands in encouragement.

Dick clapped his hands together and grinned, "Hey, that wasn't bad, Gar. I see you've been listening when I've shown you a barani ball out."

His friend smiled, "I mean… I wasn't not listening."

Chuckling, Gar and Dick peered over at Vic who was already bouncing up and down to gain some height to his jump.

"Now… I don't know as many fancy ass tricks as Dick and I don't even know as much as Gar either so… just putting it out there." Vic argued,

Once he had reached the desired height from bouncing over and over, Vic brought his knees up and his feet together and reached his hand down to hold them, with his other arm out at his side before he fell into a backward somersault with a full rotation before he released his feet and set them on the trampoline bed, only wobbling a little bit as he landed; succeeding in his performing of a siderman flip.

Kory was supportive immediately, what with Vic's obvious uncertainty in his own abilities, "Yay! That was wonderful, Vic!"

Vic playfully blew a kiss in the redhead's direction, "Thanks, little lady."

Gar nodded his head in approval, as did Dick, "That was good, dude. And, I mean, you can do front flips and backflips so… y'know, you get points for knowing how to do them anyway even if you don't know loads of flips."

Vic chuckled and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, "Ah, thanks man. I'm working on learning more. I need to start comin' down here when you do so you can teach me some shit, Dick."

"Anytime, man." Dick replied before turning to Gar, "That was surprisingly nice of you to say to Vic, Gar."

Gar smirked and raised an eyebrow at Dick, "I know. But now, I wanna see your amatuer flips, Dick."

The dark haired gymnast blinked at Gar before he burst into laughter and shrugged his shoulders with the utmost confidence, "Alright, fine. Watch and learn, Gar."

Dick took to bouncing again, getting into the familiar rhythm in order to get comfortable and loosen up his limbs. He maintained the perfect position, with his precise posture consistently in check. His legs remained together and straight, his toes pointing downwards every time the soles of his feet weren't touching the trampoline bed.

Once he had reached a height that neither of the boys had, he turned himself around and it was clear from that small movement that he was considering a backward somersault of some description.

Throwing himself backwards, Dick completed a flawless double back somersault with three twists, looking like a human torpedo as he flipped through the air on his way back down to the trampoline itself. The flip was fast, full of speed and yet just as fascinating to watch.

He landed on his feet with strength, with not even a single flail or stumble as he raised his arms in the finish. Dick smirked at Gar who had his mouth hanging open in shock, "And that, guys is what you'd call a miller." He boasted, running his fingers through his ebony locks and panting slightly.

Kory stood on her trampoline, simply smiling with pride, obviously aware of what Dick could do, considering his pre existing skills in gymnastics.

"Shit, dude." Vic swore, "How do you not get scared you'll break somethin'?"

Dick chuckled, "Well, I've been training for years. I suppose that kinda fear just slowly went away. Don't get me wrong, if I'm trying out a new sequence or something, it can be a little bit worrying but it depends. Most of the time, I don't get scared of doing moves like that."

Gar snapped his jaw shut and shook his head, straightening up and trying to appear as if he hadn't just been dumbfounded by what Dick had done.

"Well, it was okay I guess." Gar commented, avoiding eye contact with Dick,

Dick smirked, "Just okay, huh?" He paused and nodded, "Interesting."

Clearing his throat, Gar turned his head towards Raven who was now on her feet and bouncing gently on the spot, "Rae! Decision time; who'd you think did the best flip?"

Raven paused and her indigo eyes shifted between the three of them, "Um…"

"It's okay, Rae. I know who you wanna say." Gar goaded, turning his nose upward and grinning,

"No, it's not that. I wasn't really paying attention when you guys were doing it so…" Raven admitted, shrugging and not looking very remorseful about it at all,

Gar's shoulders slumped and he groaned, "Aw man, Raaae!"

Raven rolled her eyes at him, "Is it really that important?"

"Duh!" Gar responded and he turned his attention to Kory who was now sitting cross legged on one of the huge vinyl shapes that were dotted amongst the many trampoline spaces, "Kory!"

"Hm?" She answered, smiling sweetly,

"You were watching us. Who'd you think did the best flip?" Gar asked, his eyes pleading with her to say the name he wanted to hear most,

Kory's jade eyes slipped across each of them in thought but she soon bit her lower lip and grinned, tilting her head as if the answer was obvious. Dick laughed, catching on the fastest to whom she had in mind.

Gar's eyes widened and he wagged his index finger at her, "Ah! No! You're not allowed to pick Dick."

"Why not?"

"Cos' he's your boyfriend and that's biased."

Kory giggled, "Oookay but… he is who I thought did the best."

Gar groaned and dragged a hand across his face, eliciting a deep chuckle from Vic who slapped a hand against Gar's shoulder, "Ah, let it go, Gar. Dick just happens to better than us at this stuff just as I am sure there are things we're better at than him."

Dick snorted and rolled his eyes at that, "Uh huh."

Considering, Gar tilted his head back and forth, "I suppose, the judges on this one weren't exactly fair."

Kory smirked as she got up from the spongey shape, "I was completely fair, thank you very much, Gar. You just did not appreciate my answer."

She brushed her hands off on her thighs and bounced between several trampoline beds, turning it into a light run before she pushed off and jumped forward, twisting through the air with her arms at her side, performing a basic yet elegant barani flip, her long ponytail swishing around her as she moved.

Her feet touched down on the trampoline bed and she turned around, beaming with joy at having completed it.

Gar's mouth fell open and he immediately turned towards Dick, "Hey! Since when did Kory learn that?"

Dick chuckled and bounced idly, throwing himself back against the wall trampoline bed here and there, "Since I taught her how to do it." His lips quirked into a smirk, "It's okay, Gar. I can teach you as well since you have troubles."

Gar scrunched up his face and mock laughed, "Oh har har. Laugh it up, pretty boy. Soon, I will totally overtake you in skills."

"Sure you will." Dick said, winking in Gar's direction.

Chuckling, Gar shook his head and planted his hands on his hips, just as Raven walked towards him, being careful not to misstep as she made her way across the springy beds. She gave him a quiet smile and touched his cheek, "You did fine, Gar."

"Just fine?" He asked, morphing his face to be akin to a puppy dog expression,

She smiled wider and rolled her eyes, "You did great. You did that little sequence and you came away with no broken bones so y'know… that's a win."

He blinked in disbelief, "Oh, wow. So, that's the standard then? If no one breaks bones, it's good?"

Raven tilted her head, "That's always been the standard, obviously."

11:12pm

Gar grinned from where he was crouched before the stationary camera but it had been clearly placed in a different location than before. It sat on the very edge of the interconnected trampoline, loosely secured to the black netting that acted as a wall around all of the trampolines.

It was placed in the very middle, showing the trampoline beds and the others as they hovered around, waiting for Gar but it revealed nothing further on the sides, hidden by where the frame of the camera ended.

"Okay guys, so we've moved over to the other trampoline cage thing because we realised it had bigger rectangles, meaning there was more space but with less likelihood that we'd smack into each other." He paused and his grin only widened across his face as he leaned to the side, revealing a volleyball net that had been put up, straight down the middle of the cage, tied up at each end against the netting, "We found a volleyball net! And there were also a bunch of red dodgeballs in one of the cupboards but since we're not really fans of dodgeball, we decided to team up and play some volleyball."

He skittered backwards, ducking his head so that he didn't get caught up in the white net they had constructed. Gar moved until he was on the right hand side, where Kory was also standing, stretching her arms above her head.

Raven was sitting directly opposite the camera, on the other edge of the cage, with her head resting against the wall with the net tied up just above her.

Dick and Vic stood on the other side of the net, bouncing and quietly joking around with each other whilst they let Gar explain and talk.

"So, Raven insisted on being the referee…" Gar expressed, smiling as Raven lifted her fingers in a small wave towards the camera, "Which means teams are equal. It's me and Kory and Vic and Dick. It's first to three since we're just doing a friendly game. We'll see how it goes and hey, we can always play another game afterward but I feel like we're gonna start getting hungry soon so… y'know, best to make a short game, just in case."

"Y'all are goin' downnn!" Vic crowed, spinning the dodgeball on his index finger from where he stood beside Dick on the left hand side.

"Pft, you wish, Tin man. Hurry up and serve so we can mop the floor with you two." Gar retorted, bending his knees slightly to ready himself for when Vic hit the ball.

Chuckling, Vic threw the ball up in the air and gave it a hard smack, sending it across the top of the net. Gar squeaked and stumbled across the trampolines to get to it but luckily, Kory was faster.

She bounced from where she was to the spot where the ball was headed for. She grunted but crouched just in time and slapped the ball away, right back towards who it had come from.

Dick dove across to intercept it and cuffed it just enough to send it back over the net again. Kory's eyes widened and she hopped across the trampoline bed to get it but it was clear she was too far from where it was projected to land.

Gar yelped and stumbled slightly but managed to reach the ball in time and jumped up, whacking it back over the net and straight at the trampoline bed, earning a triumphant laugh from Kory who happily returned the high five Gar offered her.

He grinned over at their opponents, "Ooh, first point to me and Kory, bitches."

Vic waved his hand dismissively, "Yeah, yeah… enjoy it while it lasts. We're just gettin' warmed up, grass stain."

Gar chuckled and exchanged glances with Kory, who nodded to him as he reached and picked up the red ball.

"Ready, Kory?" He checked, earning a curt nod from her as she rolled her shoulders back, preparing herself to play.

Vic smirked and lightly bounced on his toes, his fingers splayed, ready for Gar to serve the ball, with Dick matching a similar stance as well.

Gar exhaled slowly before he jumped up with the ball in hand and threw it higher, punching it hard across the net so that Vic and Dick both had to scramble to get to it.

Dick got there first and slid down low to stop it from hitting the ground. He pushed it upwards, with help from Vic who saw it wouldn't go over and so he hurried across and smacked it, sending it back to Gar and Kory.

Gar stomped over to the middle of the net, where the ball was aiming for and he used both hands to redirect it back to the boys, grunting with effort as he moved.

Primed and ready to go, Dick instantly met the ball with a hard smack with his clenched fist. The ball zipped back over the net and struck the trampoline bed so fast, both Kory and Gar could only blink in surprise.

Vic laughed aloud and punched a fist in the air, "Ooooh yeah, ooh yeah!"

"You only have one point. Are you not getting ahead of yourself, Vic?" Kory taunted, raising a brow,

"We tapping into your hidden competitive side, m'lovely?" Dick asked, grinning at his girlfriend through the white net.

Kory gave him a coy smile but smothered it as quickly as it came, turning her nose up and flipping her hair over her shoulder at him. Dick chuckled and turned away just in time to bump fists with Vic and start a round of the game anew.

"It's cool, Kory. They ain't winning this game." Gar stated, with a sense of certainty.

Vic bent down and retrieved the red ball and threw it up behind his back, only to catch it in the palm of his hand as it fell back down, "Mm… I wouldn't bet on that, Gar."

"Just serve the ball, chrome dome." Gar muttered,

Smirking, Vic tossed the ball into the air and huffed as he walloped it, the colliding sound of his hand hitting it echoing through the room.

"Kory! Your side-" Gar warned,

Kory bounced across the space and clasped her hands together, jumping up and spinning, knocking the ball back across the net with force. Dick floundered for a short moment before he sprinted across the bed and matched her pace, leaping into the air and striking it right back over again.

Gar scurried up to the net and made a move to jump and hit it, before it even crossed over but Vic apparently had the same thought and lunged over to the same spot. He leapt up and reached his fist forward, knocking the ball away from Gar and straight down onto their side of the trampoline beds, gaining another point.

Vic landed and his smirk said it all. He threw his hands up in the air and cackled, "Oh ho ho! What was that you said about just one point, Kory?"

She pouted in annoyance and crossed her arms over her chest. Gar landed roughly beside her and puffed out a breath, "Rae! Does that count?" He called,

Raven lifted her chin towards her best friend and her boyfriend and she cringed, "Sorry Gar. It was fair. They got the point."

Gar snapped his fingers together, "God dang it."

"So, that's… 2-1, now… right?" Dick asked, clearly teasing,

Kory pointed at her boyfriend, "If you say another word, Richard, I will be taking all of the blanket when we go to sleep."

He grinned in response and made the motion of zipping his mouth closed and throwing away the key before he held his hands up in defence. Vic chuckled from where he was still celebrating their second point, "Looks like y'all are gonna lose…" He murmured,

"Weird, I don't think you got three points so it hardly makes the two of you winners." Gar informed him,

Vic picked up the red dodgeball with both hands and held it against his hip for a moment, "Ah, we haven't got three yet. But, with this next round, we'll get it. Don't you worry."

Gar pulled a face and turned to Kory, "We gotta get the next point."

She nodded in response and ushered him backwards, "I will be in the front but if you stay back, we have more area covered."

"Good plan." He agreed, taking his position diagonal from her, ready to act when needed.

Clearing his throat, Vic pressed the ball between his fingertips and took a deep breath before he bounced upward and thumped the ball downward, trying to claim an easy point but Kory didn't allow it.

She dashed forward, turning her hands up so that the heel of her palm impacted the ball before anything else could, like her fingers. She forced it away and back over the net, immediately scurrying backwards to be on the lookout for which way Vic or Dick might send it in.

Dick pressed his lips together in a firm line as he shot up and grappled with the ball, thwacking it right back over in a matter of seconds. Kory's eyes widened a fraction and she jumped, turning her body at an angle so that she could hit the ball away from Dick's direction.

It worked enough so that Dick fell back on his ass in his haste to get to the other side. But, Vic bounded forward, eyes trained on the red ball as it headed for the trampoline bed. With a loud grunt, he dropped down to his knee and smacked it back over, panting as he did so.

Kory gasped and turned to run for it but Gar skidded in, his socks helping him to glide across the trampoline bed. He got in position beneath where the ball was destined to fall and he gave it an almighty swat, his eyes alighting with glee as it tumbled over the net and onto the bed on Vic and Dick's side.

Gar beamed and lightly tapped his hand against the net, goading his friends, "Aww what'd you guys say? Huh?"

Kory giggled and clapped her hands together, spinning in a small circle and sharing a triumphant glance with her volleyball partner.

"Fine, alright… you won that one." Vic breathed, pressing his hand to his back as he stood up straight again,

Kory pressed a finger to her chin as she pretended to ponder something, "So… I believe that makes it 2-2 now, yes?" She asked, her tone of voice sly.

"For now… next round, it'll all be over for you, beautiful." Dick smirked, earning a playful roll of the eyes from Kory.

Gar grinned and picked up the dodgeball and juggled it from hand to hand, raising an eyebrow at the two boys, looking eager on the other side of the net, "You guys ready to lose?"

"No, but then again… we don't need to worry." Vic countered,

With a deep breath, Gar jumped up and clipped the edge of the ball, sending it spinning over the net and into Vic and Dick's metaphorical court.

Dick sprung forward, tapping it just enough so that it went back over but so lightly that it didn't go far beyond the net. Kory squeaked and dove for the ball, punching it upward with her fist, only to be backed by Gar who rushed over to her and hit it over whilst it was clinging in the air.

It was headed straight for the trampoline bed but Vic got in there, slapping it away from the floor and back over to Kory and Gar's side. It went further than either of them expected and so Kory pinged across the trampoline bed in record time, whacking it hard; so hard that it zoomed through the air and over the line of the net.

Dick was prepared however as he crouched and jumped up, with some help from the springy bed of the trampoline beneath his feet and pushed the ball back towards their side.

"Gar!" Kory called, not close enough to reach for it herself.

"I got it! I got itI I got- whoa!"

Just as Gar went to smack it back, he lost his footing and his sock only exasperated things as he slipped and fell flat on his back with an audible, 'oof!'.

He groaned as he noted the red dodgeball lightly bouncing on the trampoline bed, right beside him; followed by the boisterous cheering from Vic and Dick who had clearly just won the game.

Gar continued to lay there and groan, annoyed at the prospect of losing but almost instantly, Kory appeared at his side and offered him a hand to stand up.

He sighed and accepted it, allowing his friend to heave him to his feet. Gar rubbed the back of his neck and chanced a glance over at Raven, who gave him a rather sympathetic expression,

"Rae, is it-"

"They won the point… sorry Gar." She told him,

Vic and Dick were doing their own little victory dance, with a lot of smirking and they were practically oozing bravado, even through the lens of the camera.

"Ohhh, what's that? Who won? Who won?" Vic crowed, shaking his clasped hands above his head,

Kory crossed her arms over her chest and playfully narrowed her eyes at the two of them whilst Dick bounced over until he reached the netting and grinned at her through it,

"Hey, Kory… feel like a kiss from a winner?" He asked, his voice earnest,

She pretended to consider and stepped closer to him, appearing as if she was going to oblige him but at the last second, she slipped her hand beyond the netting until it rested on his chest and pushed him away, letting him fall onto his back,

"Hmm… no, thank you." She giggled,

Dick gaped at her and said in a voice of mock shock, "The utter lack of sportsmanship!"

Vic ducked beneath the net and grabbed Gar around the shoulders, giving him a jovial shake, "Eyyy, Gar, don't be too sad. Next time, you can be on my team." He smirked,

"I don't need to be on your team to win. You guys just got super lucky, that's all." Gar rebuffed,

Vic's mouth fell open into the shape of an 'o' before his lips split into a broad grin, "Oh yeah? Rematch?"

Gar smirked and there was a twinkle in his eye as he looked back at his best friend, "Rematch."

1:08am

Waving at the lens of the camera, Gar used his other hand to grab a fistful of doritos and shove them into his mouth, crunching down on the tasty chips.

The camera had been moved once more; it was still secured on top of the tripod and stood still, without needing to be held by Gar. It faced the five of them as they sat around a table, with the trampoline park cafe behind them.

The lights were bright in the cafe, with a silver, polished service counter in the background of the shot. There was a hot dog machine on the second counter that ran along the back wall, behind the main counter. There was a coffee machine and a popcorn machine as well. Rows upon rows of different flavoured chips lined the front counter, along with an assortment of candy bars too; things that would entice parties and young children into their parents buying snacks for them.

On the wall, high above the equipment, the words, 'Sunshine Cafe' was scrawled in bright orange lettering, with a curly flourish to give it more style.

There were fun pink and blue neon LED lights that lit up the underside of the counters as well, with a big slushie machine in the foreground, on the end of the main counter; again, strategically placed to encourage children into wanting one of the sugary slush treats.

Orange, rounded tables were dotted all around the room, with matching diner chairs set out around them. There was also a wall that was made up of mostly all glass and gave a view of the main park, with all the trampolines being visible.

"So, as you guys can see, we're in the cafe, eating our snacks." Gar informed his viewers, around his mouthful of doritos.

"Yeah, my friend made it pretty clear, he didn't want crumbs or anything on the trampolines so it made sense to come in here." Dick said, taking a swig of the soda he held in his hand.

"God, I'm so glad we brought so much stuff. I'm huuungry." Vic droned, taking a bit of the meaty sub he held in his hands, "And loving the fact there's a microwave in the back there. Made a good call bringing things we can heat up, Dick."

Dick nodded and lifted his soda can, acknowledging the point made.

"So, I'm not the only one who's been having tons of fun tonight, right?" Gar asked, throwing several pieces of candy into his mouth and looking around the table at his friends,

Vic's brows furrowed at that, "Nah man, this has been hella fun. I never realised how much cooler these places are when there's no people."

"It's so much… calmer without all the kids running around and teens screaming to each other about who can do something the best." Raven added, from where she was sat, delicately eating from her small sushi platter pack with her chopsticks.

"Yeah, I'll definitely need to see if he'd be down for letting us do this again sometime." Dick interjected,

Gar beamed, "See guys? I have so many good ideas all the time."

"I am just thankful that we are spending the night in a location that is not creepy and has functioning lighting." Kory smiled, taking a bite of her reheated veggie wrap.

"It's also warmer than when we stayed at that mall." Raven reminded her, earning a lot of agreeing nods from Kory.

Vic yawned loudly and shook his head as he closed his mouth, widening his eyes slightly, "And y'know, I didn't think jumping around on a trampoline would make me as sleepy but… I'm gettin' there."

Gar snorted, "You'll grow even more tired once your food digests too."

"You got any other plans for us tonight, Gar?" Dick asked, leaning back in his chair,

"Mm… I got a couple." He mentioned, cryptically,

"Just remember, we do need to sleep at some point tonight since we have to be up for setting things up tomorrow." Raven stated, stifling a yawn behind her hand,

"Don't worry… I'm also starting to feel a little tired but there's just a couple things I really wanna tick off the list of having done." Gar replied, grinning in the direction of the camera, "Now, hurry and stuff your faces so we can go and do the other stuff."

3:05am

Shifting how the camera sat in the palm of his hand, Gar pulled a distressed expression at the camera which he had trained on himself, "Ugh… so, I have some crappy news, guys. We ate up in the cafe and came down here after and we did some rock climbing and jumping off into the foam pit but…" He sighed, "My battery died so it cut off and stopped recording. I've put a new one inside the camera and I'm hoping nothing happens with that."

He walked along, with the trampoline park in the background behind him within the shot of his face. Gar lifted his other hand, revealing the folded up tripod in his grip.

"So, I'm gonna set the camera up so I don't have to hold it and… you'll see why. I just wanted to give you that little update about what you missed."

Gar spun the camera around to show the foam pit with the battle beams fixed over the pit. The beams were padded out to avoid injury and then covered with brightly coloured vinyl to fit in with the rest of the park's aesthetic. Propped up against the soft wall were two pugil sticks; one that was green and one that was yellow, the perfect weapons for knocking an opponent off of the beam.

He chuckled as he crouched down and angled the camera so that the shot had everything he needed it to. The image of his face shuddered a little bit as Gar fixed the camera onto the tripod and readjusted the height of the tripod legs until the entire frame was that of the battle beam area and the foam pit that sat underneath; a soft landing for the loser of this challenge.

Once he had finished, Gar took a few steps back from the camera and smiled, placing his hands on his hips. The others were mumbling off camera and once Gar was happy enough with how the camera was recording, he whistled for them to come over.

"Alright, guys. We're gonna play on the battle beams!" Gar enthused,

Vic shook his fist in excitement as he wandered into view, "Awww yeaaa! It's like… soft gladiators."

Kory giggled and eyed the big man, "I look forward to knocking you off of the beam, Vic."

He gasped and looked at her in a scandalized manner, "Kory! You wouldn't."

She merely smiled back at him and nonchalantly shrugged her shoulders, feigning indifference and innocence.

Gar smirked and looked between the two of them, "Do you guys wanna be our first pair of warrior then?"

Vic slapped his hands together and grinned, nudging Kory with his shoulder and giving her a wink, "Wanna go, Princess?"

She giggled and made her way up onto the walkway that led to the foam pit and balance beams, snatching up the yellow pugil and giving it a twirl with her fingers.

"Shall we, Vic?" She prompted, placing her foot tentatively onto the beam, testing it out before she walked along it, trying her best not to fall off straight away.

Vic followed suit and placed his foot onto the beam, wobbling for a moment before he placed his second foot onto the beam as well, steadying himself and skittering along it, ever so carefully.

Kory cautiously turned her body around so that she faced Vic, clutching her bright yellow pugil. Vic grinned, "Well… this is fun so far."

She laughed, "I am already dreading that I will fall off and you have not even struck me yet!"

Gar leaned forward from where he, Raven and Dick were standing on the walkway, patiently leaning against the outer netting of the interconnected trampolines behind them.

"Ready on 3… 1… 2…" Gar paused, watching as Vic and Kory shifted and prepared for battling, tightening their grips on the soft pugils in their hands, "3! Battle!"

Kory's eyes widened and she immediately swung for Vic, who squeaked in surprise and jerked back and teetered on the spot, flailing one of his arms in a desperate attempt at staying afloat of the foam pit.

In retaliation, Vic pushed the pugil lower and whacked it against one of her ankles, causing her to wobble but only slightly.

Kory giggled and smacked his shoulder with her own weapon, "The joke is on you, Vic! All of my weight is in my feet and ankles right now."

He paused and lifted an eyebrow, "Oh yeah?"

Before she could contemplate any plan he was forming, Vic grinned and bumped the pugil against her hip, catching her off guard.

Kory was thrown off balance and despite trying to stay on the beam, she fell off the edge, squealing as she dropped down into the pit below.

Vic whooped loudly and held his green pugil above his head, shaking it victoriously.

The redheaded woman soon resurfaced from the foam cubes and groaned, wading her way through the things until she reached the edge. Dick was there already, with a hand outstretched and waiting for her.

Kory took it and allowed her boyfriend to haul her out and up onto the walkway.

"Sorry, Kory but a guy's got to go to extremes to make sure he wins." Vic told her, smirking as he tiptoed back across the beam and jumped off of it, planting his feet firmly back on the walkway.

"Uh huh." She muttered, giving him a playful glare,

"Guys, decide who should go next." Gar prompted the pair.

Vic and Kory shared a thoughtful glance and simultaneously smiled,

"Gar." Vic chose, nodding to the man in question,

Grinning, Gar did a little dance and had an expression of pure self assurance. He peered up at the four of them and raised his eyebrows, "Alright, who you guys gonna choose for me to beat?"

Vic rolled his eyes whilst Kory giggled behind her hand and tapped her chin, as if deeply considering his opponent before her eyes alighted on her boyfriend, "Mm… Dick."

Chuckling, Dick pushed himself off of the netted cage, "Okay then."

Gar paused and appeared to lose a piece of his confidence but he soon corrected his facial expression and smirked, "Y-Yeah… I'm still gonna win, pft."

Dick lifted a brow, "Y'sure about that?"

Marching ahead of him, Gar retrieved the green pugil from Vic who gave him a teasing look as he passed by and began his descent onto the beam, swaying a little and pausing several times until he felt secure in standing unaided on the thing.

Following his friend's lead, Dick accepted the yellow pugil from Kory and wandered onto the beam, without so much as a falter in his step. His balance was solid and unwavering, with Dick going as far as to jump up and down, as if testing the beam.

Gar's legs trembled at the vibration caused by Dick's movements and he made an 'eep' sound, clasping the pugil close to his chest, "Dude!" He complained,

Dick's demeanour was nonchalant, "What?" He chuckled,

Scowling at him, Gar took a breath and relaxed his limbs a little, shaking out his arms before holding the pugil out in front of him, with Dick matching his motions, pointing his own weapon at his friend.

"Ready… 1… 2… 3! Battle!" Vic shouted, sending the two boys into competitive mode,

Gar lunged forward and took a clumsy swipe at Dick's shoulder, which the gymnast nimbly avoided by ducking down into a crouch.

Wobbling back and forth and fighting hard to stay on the beam, Gar shifted his stance in an attempt to recalibrate his balance.

Once he had regained his composure, Gar poked in tongue out in determination and tried another approach, immediately going for a low blow at Dick's ankles.

The raven haired man had the gall to jump up, Gar watching in shock as his pugil zipped through the air where Dick had been standing moments beforehand.

Dick landed not even a few seconds later, smirking with a level of bravado that was unfathomable.

Gar blinked in utter disbelief, especially considering how Dick had done that without so much as a stumble.

Whilst he was somewhat distracted, Dick darted forward and delivered a hard blow to Gar's chest with the far end of his pugil.

Gar jerked back and tripped over his own feet, yelping helplessly before he plummeted down into the depths of foam cubes.

Dick lifted his chin and the triumphant grin he wore only widened as he placed the butt of the pugil against the beam and sighed as if it had been no sweat at all.

Popping up from between the foam cubes, Gar called out, "Damn it!"

"What can I tell you, Gar…" Dick trailed off and shrugged his shoulders before he grabbed the pugil and hopped off of the beam and onto the walkway, waiting as Gar began to heave himself up and out of the foam pit.

"I definitely think you cheated somehow, Grayson." Gar accused as he stood up, brushing himself down.

Dick scoffed and shook his head, "How? How would I have possibly been able to cheat at something like that?"

Gar's eyes shifted back and forth, like he was trying to figure out a response to that, "Um… I-I don't know… but… you coulda!"

Vic patted Gar's shoulder and smiled with sympathy, "Gar. I think you've gotta accept that Dick just won this one."

Crossing his arms over his chest, Gar sniffed, "Yeah, okay, fine. But, I want a rematch later!"

Dick smirked and nodded, "Deal." He paused and scanned the group, "Who wants to go next?"

Kory perked up again and smiled brightly, shuffling across the floor until she stood at Raven's side, "Raven, shall we duel with the spongy poles?"

The dark haired girl hesitated and pulled an uncertain expression, "Uh…"

"Please?" Kory pleaded, clasping her hands in front of her chest,

Raven smiled and exhaled, "Okay… you know it'll probably end with both of us going over, right?"

Kory giggled, "That is the fun of it."

With that, Raven pushed herself away from the netted wall and stole the pugil from Gar, giving him a small kiss on the forehead to comfort his bruised ego from his defeat.

Retrieving the yellow pugil from Dick with a bashful smile, Kory bent her knees, loosening up the muscles in her legs, knowing where she placed most of her tension the first time around.

Raven was the first to hobble onto the beam, catching herself as she moved to the far side of it, muttering a few, 'whoa's here and there as she got her bearings.

"Why did this thing look wider from over there?" Raven queried, as Kory shambled onto the beam after her, her footing slow and steady as she got comfortable with how she should stand.

"Ready girls?" Dick asked from the sidelines, "1… 2... 3! Go!"

Kory hesitated, digging her fingers into the straps attached to the pugil. She bit her lip and stared at her best friend, waiting for one of them to make the first move.

Raven laughed quietly and shrugged, tiptoeing closer and taking a light swat at Kory's hip. The redhead squeaked and jolted but stood strong as her hip took the brunt and vibrations of Raven's hit.

"I will not be so easily knocked off, Raven." Kory informed her, shifting her grip on her own pugil as she stalked closer to Raven.

Just as Kory lifted her arms, preparing to thwack her best friend, Raven grinned and turned her pugil side on, blocking the strike that Kory had intended to give her.

The two girls struggled with each other for a long moment, with each of them pushing force onto the other via their connecting pugils with snorts of laughter slipping from both of them.

They continued in this way for almost a minute before Kory smirked and gave Raven's pugil on last push before she took a step back and crouched, wobbling madly as she moved. She lifted her pugil and thumped it against the side of Raven's knee, earning a surprise grunt.

Raven swayed back and forth, desperately trying to regain the balance that had been stripped from her but it was futile as she simply couldn't hold onto it. With a small 'eep' sound, Raven fell over the side of the beam and straight into the foam pit.

Kory smothered a joyful smile and her brows creased as she peered over the side, "I am sorry, Raven!"

She paused, waiting for Raven to pop her head up and give her some kind of sarcastic response. Instead, Raven emerged with a sneaky smirk on her face and shot an arm up, grabbing Kory's ankle and giving her a small yank.

Her emerald eyes widened to the size of dinner plates and Kory squealed in shock before she tumbled into the foam cubes, right beside her best friend.

Raven descended into a bubble of laughter, amused by the look on Kory's face as she sank into the pit.

Moments later, Kory rose from the colourful cubes with a playful scowl on her face, "Raven!" She gasped,

"What can I say? Competitiveness got the better of me." Raven shrugged, smirking at her friend.

Kory shook her head and giggled, grabbing a lemon coloured cube from nearby and launching it at Raven's head, causing them to laugh even more.

Gar chuckled as he sat on the edge of the pit, waiting for the girls as they made their way through the foam to get out, "That was cold, Rae!"

Raven smirked as she reached up and grabbed his hand, "I don't handle losing well, it would seem."

Dick crouched down beside Gar and aided Kory in clambering out of the foam pit, murmuring quietly to her which made her laugh but was just out of earshot of the camera's mic. The four of them stood up, turning as Vic planted his fists on his hips and looked eager for a challenge.

"Okay, I definitely wanna go again. Who wants to take me on?" He grinned, eyeing them all,

Gar's attention immediately slipped away from the girls and became refocused on his best friend, whose tone was designed to provoke them into agreeing.

He thrusted his arm up in the air and his expression turned into one of determination, "I'll take you on, tin man. Get ready to lose!"

Vic snorted and waved him over to the beam, picking Raven's discarded pugil up from the edge of the pit where she had dropped it upon getting out. Gar huffed and accepted the yellow pugil that Kory offered him when he wandered past her, ready to battle for the win.

Carefully placing one foot in front of the other, Vic made his way along the beam, his arms outstretched on either side of his body in an attempt to centre himself. When he reached the furthest end of the beam, he slowly spun around and lifted an eyebrow towards Gar,

"Let's get this over with, grass stain. I wanna win already." He goaded, good naturedly.

Gar wearily stepped up onto the beam, bending his knees slightly as if it would help him to maintain his balance. He split his fists apart slightly where they were clenched around the pugil and he aimed it toward his best friend and grinned,

"I wouldn't be so confident if I were you, Vic."

Vic smirked, "I think I'm okay. You ready?"

Gar nodded but briefly looked over at the other three as they hovered on the walkway, getting ready to watch the two of the battle it out.

Kory cleared her throat and beamed, excited to see the outcome of this particular duel, "Ready on 3… 1… 2… 3! Go!"

With minds and reactions alike, Gar and Vic simultaneously darted towards each other, albeit with a shake in their step but they both held it together just enough.

Their pugils clashed at the same time and they both pushed against one another, with Vic having a fair bit of an advantage due to his size and strength in comparison to Gar.

Glancing down at his slippery feet against the vinyl beam, Gar bit down on his lip and concentrated on forcing Vic back, without falling off in the process. His brows knitted together and he soon dropped his head, his hair flopping down as his arms shook, trying his damndest to fight off Vic who was chuckling at Gar's endurance.

Vic backed off, in an attempt to make Gar stumble forward and ultimately lose but Gar was seemingly extremely prepared. He jerked forward but stilled instantly, suspending himself before he could fall.

In response, Vic lifted the pugil above his head, getting ready to strike his best friend and knock him straight into the foam pit. However, Gar squatted down, dodging the blow with surprising finesse as soon as Vic swung.

Vic's cheeks puffed up as he held his breath, almost slipping straight off the edge of the beam.

Sensing his opportunity, Gar's eyes lit up with mischief and he sprung closer and cuffed the pugil against Vic's back; with just enough force to cause Vic to yell out in shock and fall into the pit, becoming swallowed by the vividly coloured foam cubes below.

Gar beamed and chucked the pugil in his hands over onto the walkway, raising his arms and shaking his fists in the air, celebrating his small achievement.

"Heck yeah! Ohhh yeah fam!" Gar cried, moving his arms in a circular motion, doing a little dance out of joy for his win.

Vic popped out of the foam and spluttered, "There was a weird taste of plastic under there. Just sayin'."

Turning all of his focus onto his friend, Gar pointed his index finger at him, "Ohhh what'd you say, Vic? You were wanting to get it over with so you could…?" He trailed off, waiting with a smirk to hear what Vic would say,

Rolling his eyes, Vic laughed, "Yeah, yeah… ite, don't get mega cocky, grass stain. I could still whip your ass at anything else."

Gar shrugged his shoulders and looked smug, "Well, we don't know about that, Vic. This has put things into perspective."

Vic's only response was to scoff and plant the palms of his hands onto the edge of the pit and hoist himself out of the pool of foam. He brushed himself down before placing his pugil over by the netted wall around the trampolines, resting it there before the next person started using it.

"Okay, when we get home tomorrow, let's play a basketball game. We'll see what exact perspectives have changed." Vic smirked, folding his arms across his chest.

"Deal." Gar grinned and turned his head to look at them, "So, who wants to go next?"

4:23am

Gar smiled directly into the lens of the camera as he held it up enough to capture all of them from where they were lounging on the trampoline beds, with the blankets cocooning them and the pillows scattered around them as well.

There were tired lines and fatigue was starting to linger across his face but he kept up his enthusiasm, even if it was for just a little longer.

Raven was laying down, right behind him and appeared to be swiping her thumb across the screen of her phone, indicating she was most likely reading. She had the other end of their blanket tucked underneath her body and she had snuggled her head against a fluffy pillow.

On another trampoline bed, Kory was laying down with her hands under the pillow where she was resting her head. Her eyelids were low but she continued to stare ahead at the ipad that Vic had set up in the centre of all of their sleeping spots.

Dick was wedged in behind Kory, resting his chin against her shoulder and watching the show playing on the ipad, shrugging the blanket they were sharing over his arm a little more.

Vic was all wrapped up in his own blanket and was smiling comfortably as he watched the show as well, his head nestled in against the pillow, still looking a little bit too wired for sleep yet.

"Hey guys… so, as you can see, we're settling in to catch some sleep because… honestly?" He paused and snorted, "I am exhausted from hanging out in this place. It's been… hella fun. Like, seriously, I have loved this so much and I'm so glad Dick's friend agreed to let us borrow the place."

"It was said earlier but it's still true - this place without people and kids and teens… it's so much cooler. You don't have to wait to do anything and can jump wherever and… ah, it's awesome, man." Vic interjected, nodding at Gar's point.

"We're just here and chilling out before we sleep. Vic's put The Office on Netflix on the ipad so we're just getting comfy for the night. We weren't gonna bother trying but… it'll be better to get a few hours sleep at least. I mean, we need to be outta this place by…" Gar paused and peered across at Dick, "What time is it again, Dick?"

"About 10am…" Dick yawned,

Gar nodded and glanced back at the camera, "So, we're gonna get some sleep and then since we're gonna be busy in the morning to set up for our party in the evening, you guys can consider this the outro cos' I won't have time to update you."

Kory smiled and lazily waved at the camera, as if already saying goodnight before she let her eyes flutter closed and nuzzled the pillow under her head.

Chuckling, Gar offered the camera a sleepy smile, "As you can tell, this place has worn us all out. We had a lot of fun and even after I turned the camera off before, we kept going with the battle beams for a while longer but we started getting real tired."

He sighed and scrubbed a hand through his dark tresses before he emitted a loud yawn. Gar hummed a sound and saluted the camera, "So, I really hope you guys enjoyed this video. I hope you all have an amazing New Years and I hope good things happen to all of you in 2021…" He paused and grinned, "Thank you once again guys and if you did happen to love this video, don't forget to give it a like and click on that subscribe button below if you're not already a part of the Logan famjam, okay? Otherwise, I will see you all next year and in the next video!"

Gar threw up his hand, with his index and middle fingers out to gesture to his audience, "Peace!"
