We're coming up on the ship now." Hiccup noted as he turned to the other members of his rescue crew, who'd been dressed in the crew's flight suits. Eret marched around the loading/unloading bay with Snotlout's dark gray suit wrapped around his frame, looking over to Hiccup and smirking slightly. "As if the suits weren't cool enough, you add a leather jacket to yours." He comments.

Hiccup merely shrugged in response. "Had to set myself out from others." He replies before turning to Thuggory. "Are the weapons locked and loaded?" He asks simply, watching as the yellow Fish suited teen nodded.

Heather walked over dressed in Astrid's blue suit, a smile plastered across her face as she looked to Cami who wore Ruff's orange suit. "We're all ready to go Captain!" Commented the ever so excited Camicazi.

"Good." He replied, smiling to her and then Heather. "Then let's get this party started." He'd said , tapping into the left gauntlet of his suit and causing a helmet to form over his head. The helmet was molded in a simple shape, with an even simpler design. It held a plexiglass covering for the face that left the face open with a red frame around his head.

The others followed suit, and Hiccup nodded to them as he slammed a fist down onto the control switch, causing the door to open in the hangar area. As it opened up, he tapped into his gauntlet once again. "Setting the Night Fury to Incognito mode." He said, the outside of the ship gaining a momentary glow before the plates and metal of the ship shifted to match the coloring of the environment outside- Outer Space.

A field of energy was placed over the ship, which hid all signals and other forms of location from the ship they were approaching. "Now to hide ourselves." He said, looking to the crew.

"Go into your gauntlets, bring up the signal jammers and switch em on. They're temporary, only have about fifteen minutes before they need to shut down and reboot." He says, noting the slightly astonished looks from the others.

"All them brains and you're just a pilot.." Thug comments as he does as he's told, smiling to himself as they prepared for taking off. He adjusted the small square shaped pod that Hiccup had given him onto his back, watching as it produced two metallic straps that adjusted to his underarms and waist area.

The others did the same, save for Hiccup who simply used the jets on the soles of his customized boots. And like that, the Rescue Crew took flight into the void of outer space. "This is a simple op, get in, get out." Hiccup commented as he launched further than the others.

"Where are our entryways?" He asks, getting a near immediate response from Heather who drew out a holographic map of the ship on to her gauntlet. "Loading Bay is located in the rear, in-between the backup rotors. Waste disposal is on the side of the ship just beneath the right side jet thrusters. That's all they've got." She concludes, sending the map to everyone present and allowing them to see for themselves.

Eret nodded as his eyes moved over the map, looking to Thug and Cami.

"You three take the side, Heather and I will take the back entryway." Hiccup says as he turns to look at them. They were getting even closer to the ship. With their roles given and their locations received, they split apart into their respective areas of the ship.

As Heather and Hiccup approached the backside of the ship, they took notice of something strange. "I figured there'd be a field up or something." Hiccup says, directly addressing the minor oddity as they hovered beside the entrance.

He pulled up a holographic projection of the ships cargo load area, a small blue spot projecting from his gauntlet and scanning over the area before highlighting a security entrance panel on the inside for them to use. He looked to Heather, who smirked as she tapped into her gauntlet, unlocking the door with ease.

The two entered the ship, landing immediately and taking cover behind a large container nearby, closing the door behind them to avoid drawing unwanted attention. They'd most likely be alerted to the disturbance and would send someone to check on it, giving them the opportunity to steal any needed access cards and/or codes for later.

As they lurked around the dark parts of the area, Heather couldn't help but to ask Hiccup. "So...what are we exactly?"

This took the Auburn haired young man by surprise, and he looked to her with a reddish tint arising upon his face. Awkwardly, his hand scratched behind his neck as he tried to think. "Uh...I guess a couple? I-if that's okay with you of course!" He says, quickly moving to fix what he'd thought to be a mistake in his wording.

He was calmed down by the reassuring smile she gave him. "It works perfectly." She says, getting a smile from him in return. "Awesome..Heathcup is a go." He says, getting a slightly amused look from her.

"Heathcup...wow. Didn't know you were the ship type." She says as they move towards a door nearby, ducking below some crates and waiting.

He gave a shrug "Eh, I have a few ships in mind. Both real and fictional." He said with a smirk as they ducked low behind a large chipping crate and listened to the door open.

Two sets of footsteps followed suit, deep voices grumbling as they spoke.

"Loading area was just open. But nothing's gone." One of them said as he loaded up a plasma rifle, he was much taller and wider than his companion.

The other man snorted slightly "Let's do a quick sweep and head back. I was taking a good nap before they called for this."

The men began to search around the area, keeping their heads on a swivel as the two teens carefully maneuvered around them. Within a few moments, Hiccup spring from behind a crate and placed a hand over the mouth and nose of the large man before slamming him down towards the crate- hitting his head and knocking him out. As his ally turned towards the two and aimed the weapon at them, Heather moved behind him and thrust her palm into a pressure point in his neck, taking him down.

The two dragged the unconscious men behind a large stack of crates and bound their hands and feet together before taping their mouths shut and taking their weapons- Heather taking the larger man's blaster and Hiccup keeping the other man's rifle as a backup.

They exited the loading area, keeping an eye out at every door that they passed by. Finally they neared the engineering room and knocked for a moment, waiting for an answer. The door slid open, with a man looking down at them with a strange look upon his face.

The man thudded to the floor as Eret gave a wave to the two of them and dragged the unconscious man inside the room, Heather and Hiccup following behind and closing the door.

"Alright, let's shut down their engines just to be safe." Hiccup said as he , Eret and Heather moved towards the ships main engine and their two back ups.

He aimed his primary blasters at the lining of the main engine, freezing it into a brittle state with a steady beam of ice before shattering it with his foot. This successfully disconnected that engine.

He smiled triumphantly as Eret and Heather shut down the others as he waited by the computer, hitting the switch for the alarm to ensure it didn't go off. They'd notice the ship had stopped moving soon- but by the time they did they should be well on their way back to the Night Fury.

"Cami and Thug are already heading towards the holding bays, they're in disguise and carrying verification cards Thug had forged for themselves." Eret confirmed as he loaded up a plasma rifle and prepared for their next move.

"Then let's not keep them waiting. The Grimborns will notice a silence in here soon and once the ship comes to a complete stop, we'll have limited time to escape." Hiccup says add the three of them leave the room.

Holding Bay

Ruffnut have a long and drawn out sigh, much to the chagrin of everyone else present, and laid back onto the floor of their cell. "If they really are coming to rescue us, can't they hurry it up?!" She questioned loudly, the guard beside the cell door slamming a hand against the metal in anger.

"Shut up in there!" He shouted , before whipping his head towards the door as two more guards walked in. They were wearing helmets, and he immediately returned on edge as he approached the two. One a larger male and the other a short female.

"State your names and reasoning for being here." He said plainly, watching as they removed their helmets.

The guys within the cell's eyes widened as they saw Thuggory and Camicazi, but remained quiet and continued to act as though they were annoyed with being there.

"Kalibak Williams and Jakobi Barnes. We're here to relieve you from your shift." Cami said as she drew out the fake ID made before they boarded the ship, Thuggory doing the same.

They shifted slightly as the man read over both IDs before giving them a nod of approval. "Ye must be some of the bosses new additions from the rescue voyager then?" He asks, Cami giving a nod in response.

"Always ready to serve Captain Grimborn." She said, the man giving a raspy chuckle before walking out of the room.

The two teens smirked as they ran to the cells and immediately began working on the locking mechanism- Stoick and the others rushing to the cell to speak with them.

"Took you guys long enough!" Said Tuff as Stoick's eyes narrow slightly.

"Is Hiccup with you?" He asked in a hasty tone, Thuggory looking to him as he eyed the door carefully.

"Aye sir, along with Eret and Heather. We staged a rescue op after evacuating the city to shelter." He confirmed, a subtle smile arising upon Stoick's face now.

"Great. Now hurry it up, we gotta get outta ere." The red haired man said as Cami continued to work on the lock.

"Working on it sir!" She replied- all of their eyes moving towards the door as six men rushed into the room, weapons drawn and aimed.

"Stop right there!!" One of them shouted, Thuggory giving a knowing glance to Cami before opening Fire.

"No thanks!" He shouted in response before turning and rushing to avoid the oncoming plasma bursts that ripped their way.

Cami ducked before taking off alongside him, the men moving closer to the two.

They had finally met the back wall and were now taking cover behind two food containers in the room, every moment or so raising up to return fire to the men.

One man- large in size and looking as though he lacked the intelligence to match, looked at the captured soldiers.

"Ah, it was a nice try. But ye guys aren't going anyw-" He was cut off with a sharp kick to his side, enhanced by the propulsion of a rocket system. This sent him flying across the room and brought the other men's attention towards Eret,Hiccup and Heather who opened fire on them, taking down two of them immediately.

Hiccup smiled at his attack, before turning towards the cell and giving a smile. "Hey guys." He said as he moved to finish the hacking sequence that Cami had started. Within a few seconds the door slid open o free the Berkian warriors, all of which rushed to Hiccup with smiles and shows of thanks.

He smiled and returned the gesture before firing a burst of ice at a man as he rushed his way- freezing his foot to the floor. Followed that up, he flew towards him and cut off his propulsion before barreling him to the floor and landing on his feet. "Ya know in fight or flight, I would definitely choose flight." He said with a smirk as the others scramble about.

Viggo's men were rather incompetent, and therefore easy to combat with a few sly tricks and quick maneuvering. Astrid herself simply punched one of them in the side of the head full force while he was distracted with Ruffnut to take him down, then proceeded to relieve him of his rifle and open fire on another one.

Snotlout managed to tackle one of the larger men, with Fishlegs and Tuffnut dogpiling him soon after , though Tuffnut took the weapon in that scrap.

Soon all of them were down, and the ship was on high alert for the escapees. "Everyone get to the escape pods, I'll lead the way!!" Hiccup shouted as he hovered overhead, before taking off with a subtle burst of flames at his feet. The Berk Guard wastes no time in giving chase, Hiccup keeping a steady pace that allowed them to follow.

They'd mapped out the ship during their initial break-in, so Hiccup knew exactly which way to go. Their escape wasn't as easy as they made it out to be, as there were guards and crew members ready to attack and nearly every turn.

Eventually, they reached the escape pod area and Hiccup landed, slamming a fist onto the entry panel. They were home free now, the ships defenses and its primary engine had all been shut down- so they couldn't give chase. Or so they thought. As the doors slid open, they were taken aback at the sight before them. Viggo Grimborn, in all his dark leather wearing glory. The man wore standard issue Black Ravager chainmail armor and a black leather overcoat over it.

"Going somewhere, are we?" He asks as he draws out a sword, the blade being surrounded by a field of electricity. The Berkians all stood at the ready, with Stoick thrusting a hand out to them.

"Everyone stay back. He may be one man, but he can take on all of us." He said, Hiccup's eyebrows knitting together in frustration.

"We didn't come here to get stopped by a dwarf with a goatee." Snotlout commented a bit upset as he recharged the plasma rifle he'd stolen. He gave a glance to Eret and grimaced slightly.

"Dude take my suit off!" He complained, Eret rolling his eyes

"Is now really the time?" He asks much to Snotlout's annoyance.

"Guys! Big bad dude still glaring at us here." Ruff cut into their conversation as Stoick took a step forward.

"Ye've got no reason to take us." He told Viggo, who chuckled softly.

"Berk would pay a high price to get you all back. And if not, well atleast I'd have the honor of striking down Stoick the Vast."

"Ye'd have no such thing…" Stoick replied before giving a glance to Hiccup and nodding towards the pods. "If ye wish to face me, ye'll face only me."

"Woah, what?!" Hiccup asked, not even having time to protest as Stoick's large arm was wrapped around his frame and he was carried off towards the pods, the others taking off just as Viggo gave chase.

"You know escape is futile right?" Viggo called as he launched an attack at the Twins, Astrid leaping in and blocking his blade with the stolen rifle she carried. The rifle split in half upon contact and she only looked at the pieces as they flattered to the floor before delivering a kick towards the man- a kick that he avoided and returned with a punch to the stomach.

"Argh!" She uttered as she dropped to a knee and hurried back to her feet, latching onto the man's form and tackling him to the ground before looking at the others "HURRY!"

Viggo sent a sharp palm to her chin to get her off, then kicked her away before returning to the fleeing group- they'd reached the escape pods by now. "No!" He called before drawing a sidearm and opening fire- a burst of purple energy hitting the inside of the pod.

Hiccup was tossed into the first pod, with Fishlegs and Heather entering behind him. Eret threw out a flat disk, and it expanded in the air before setting off a small explosion in front of Viggo. The man merely covered himself with his coat and watched as the pods began to dispatch- Eret entering with Hiccup, Heather and Fishlegs. The twins entered another with Gobber and Snotlout- Thuggory, Cami and Astrid entering the last one. Each pod took off, with Stoick at the control panel glaring at Viggo.

"As I said- ye'll face only me."

Viggo growled lowly before smirking.

"So be it."

——

Hiccup's gloved fists slammed into the back of the pod repeatedly as he shouted to everyone inside. "We need to go back!!"

Eret walked over, placing a hand onto his shoulder as a show of support. "Yer father knows what he's doing."

"What if he doesn't?!? Viggo Grimborn is one of the Archipelago's most dangerous criminals- and with his weapons and his crew at his disposal once again, Dad doesn't stand a chance!"

Everyone seemed to recoil upon hearing that. There were good reasons as to why he was considered such a high level threat- and yet Stoick hung back to face him alone. Eret's head whipped towards the control panel In an instant

"We gotta turn this pod around!"

Viggo's Ship

The two men had been in a back and forth struggle, Stoick having taken up a severed pipe as a form of counter to Viggo's sword. The pipe was doing a good job of blocking so far, most likely due to Viggo's lack of force behind his swings. But such as things go- the pipe gave way and was split in half eventually.

"A bit under armed aren't you?" Viggo asked with a grin as he spun on his left heel to deliver a kick to Stoick's chest with his right. The kick did a fair amount of damage, taking some of the large man's breath away and causing him to stumble slightly. But his recovery was much quicker, Stoick rushing to deliver a punch to Viggo's face. Viggo recoiled in slight pain before slashing outwards with his sword, cutting clean through Stoick's jacket and shirt- a crimson flood pouring slowly from the gash left behind.

Stoick was brought to a knee by the pain and felt a sense of fear creeping up as Viggo drew his sword close to his neck.

"Seems this is the end for you Mr. Haddock." He said with a sneer as Stoick glared up into his dark eyes, one hand covering the gash over his chest and the other laying on the floor in support.

"So long as even one Berkian stands against ye, ye'll never truly win." Is his response as Viggo drags the blade down the side of his neck slowly.

"Then I'll just have to wipe them all out. Genocide would be easy once I acquire what I truly want." Viggo said- being cut off by a random laser burst to the left shoulder. The burst takes the air out of him and leaves him on the ground, his sword skidding across the floor.

A silver booted foot stomped onto the hilt of the weapon, Viggo's eyes panning up to meet the forest green ones of the Vast's son. Hiccup smirked as he slid his weapon back into his holster.

"Afraid I left something big, old and stubborn behind." The young Haddock said with a smirk as Eret and Fishlegs moved to assist Stoick into the awaiting pod.

As he lay there, Viggo wondered how he hadn't heard the initial approach of their pod in the area. He blamed it on his own tenacity- and his focus being primarily on his opponent. He cursed himself silently while rising to his feet, only to have one of them frozen in place by Hiccup's weapon.

"Nice Try. I'd love to stick around and chat but we've gotta go." Hiccuo said as he rushed to the escape pod while giving a cocky grin and a wave to Viggo- the latter looking on with disdain. The pod detached itself once again and took flight, setting it's course back to Berk.

As they sat there, Hiccup took a look over his father's wounds with Fishlegs.

"This is bad Hiccup...very bad." Fishlegs said as he gave a glance to his friend, who'd tussled his hair in frustration. He just saved him, or at least he thought he did, and now his father faced fear of bleeding out.

"We need to speed this thing up." He said whilst turning towards Eret who was hard at work on the control panel, attempting to push the thrusters of the pod past their limit. "This thing can barely crack Mach 80, there's no hope for a light speed travel anytime soon." He exclaimed with a grunt of frustration as Hiccup held a torn piece of his father's jacket against Stoick's chest.

"Gods dammit…" he muttered while looking into his father's eyes. That sword had done more damage than it had originally seemed, and Stoick was currently bleeding out.

"Son…" the large man began, Hiccup's eyes shot wide as he spoke.

"Don't speak Dad. Save your energy, we'll be back soon enough." The young Captain said, trying his best to reassure Stoick, and subconsciously himself. But the Vast was bent on getting this out. He placed a large hand over his son's and grasped it gently, looking into the same color eyes as his own.

"From the day you were born I knew you'd be destined for greatness. This world is yours for the taking...and as my next of kin, the Berk Guard is yours to command."

Hiccup's eyes ran then, tears streaming down and staining his cheeks as he looked to him. "Don't say that. You're gonna be alright." He said, trying his best to deny what he was being told.

"My time has come son...and so has yours. Take the Berk Guard. Watch over them, as I have you." He said, stopping to allow a cough to escape his lips. As he did so, a bit of blood spewed out onto his chest. "Ye're the best thing we've got going...and I couldn't be more proud of the man ye've become."

And with that final notion, those final words being given to a boy many thought hopeless. One flame died out in his son's arms.

And another was ignited.

As Stoick's body went limp, his eyes shut slowly, Hiccup let out a scream of pure rage and sadness. This scream wasn't unheard- as everyone in his pod merely stared in contempt. The pod itself shook wildly with the boy's emotions, it's structure nearly folding under a strange invisible force.

Heather rushed over to him, her arms wrapping around his frame and trying to calm him. "Hiccup please calm down!" She'd shouted, a shout that went unheard.

"Guys!!! We've got more trouble!!" Fishlegs called as he and Eret stared out towards Earth. The shadow of Viggo's ship overtaking their pod was one thing, but the whirring of a large weapon and soon the sound of thunder cracking through the void of space threw them all off of their feet.

A burst of blue light fired it's way down into the planet, aiming towards their current destination. And with that burst of light- everything was changed.

The Berk Guard was left to watch as Berk itself was essentially blow apart from this far, a weapon of this magnitude should never have come to exist. But it does, and it's in the hands of the most ruthless man in the Galaxy.

"T-turn us around." Hiccup said, looking to Fishlegs.

"The others are on the Night Fury." He replied, getting a nod from his friend.

"Then that's where we'll be too…"

And so, the four made their trek back to the Night Fury, still hidden from Viggo's sensors. Upon entering, they struggled to bring Stoick's body out of the pod and into the med bay- the other Berk Guardians watching in shock and distress as they saw their leader.

Gobber's eyes dropped in sadness, and he looked to Hiccup. But Hiccup trudged along with his head down and eyes to the floor. This day the Berk Guard lost their leader, a boy lost his father, and people lost their home.

4 years later

"Keep your head down!!" Came a shout from a nasally, yet mature voice. The sight of red energy beams blasting onto the back of a metallic barricade came into view. A blonde haired figure and an auburn haired figure ducked behind the barracade- looking on at a small computer like device in the Auburn's hand.

The two daring space venturers were currently in a bind, being fired at by a guard squad of six men- all adorned in silver plated armor with blue spheres as symbols upon their chests. Over their faces were helmets with slim head designs- the backs extending into a sharpened point like knives upon their necks. The eyes of their helmets were also blue, and spherical in the shape of a beetle.

"Hiccup, of all the ideas you've had this is definitely the worst!" Fishlegs said as he plugged a new power cell into his rifle, Hiccup miming him while setting coordinates.

"Eh, I've had worse." Is his response as he pulls his ragged blue scarf further around his neck. He wore now a tan colored leather vest over his old flight suit top, the sleeves having been cut down to their forearms. He also wore a pair of black Berk Combat pants, his vest having four black lines running down the left and right breast and connecting at the top of his back, a Berk Guard symbol on the right breast.

Hiccup's hair had grown a few inches, his face having a bit of fuzz upon his chin and mouth as well.

"No! None worse than this!" Fishlegs shouted back. Fishlegs had grown a blonde beard and mustache, spanning to about 12 inch from his chin and mouth. He wore a brown leather jacket with similar lines to Hiccup and the same Berk Guard symbol, this one over his left breast. Beneath that was a black form fitting shirt and a utility belt with a silver buckle. He wore on his bottom a pair of dark brown combat pants and black combat boots.

"Really? What about the Vanaheim run?" The auburn haired man asked with a smirk as he drew out a plasma grenade from his own personal belt and flipped its switch, tossing it overhead without so much as a glance. The two waited a moment and were met with the sound of the grenade going off, and the pained screams of their enemies.

"Concussive Plasma bursts. Gotta love em." Hiccup says as he finally stands up, his 6'2 form showing to the downed men.

The area they were in was very similar to a desert, with many small villages and ship ports around. The houses were small and spherical, like domes with windows and doors.

"When you said we were coming to Alfheim for a job, I thought it would be something normal." Fishlegs commented while standing, his 6'4 form towering slightly over Hiccup, who simply shrugged as he leapt over the barricade and began to walk.

"You know nothing we do is normal, right?" Hiccup asked as he looked over the downed men, drawing one of their silver plated, blue bug eyes helmets off and checking for a pulse. His fingers touched below the white haired man's pointed ear, grazing his pale skin gently.

"The Alfhenians are very hostile, Hiccup. The second you heard the job was here, you should've said no." Fish said with a sigh as Hiccup shrugged.

"Couldn't turn down an offer like this. It's an X-12 Engine part, there's only like six of these in the entire galaxy!" Hiccup exclaimed while picking up the part in question off the sand filled ground beside one of the men, much to Fishlegs' chagrin.

"We could've died for that part, Hiccup! And honestly, what's the point in grabbing it?! The Night Fury runs perfectly, it's been running perfectly for years!" He complains with a huff while walking over, accidentally stepping one of the unconscious men.

"Sorry!" He said, even though the man couldn't hear. Hiccup gave a roll of his eyes as he slid the part into a section on his belt and placed a hand onto Fishlegs' right shoulder.

"Okay, one- It's been running perfectly, true. But it can always run better. With this piece, light speed jumps would be like a cake walk. And two, this isn't even for the Night Fury. It's for a personal project." He explained as they began to walk back down the main road that lead into this small village

"Oh really? So explain." Fishlegs said as he looked over his wrist projector and began to track where the ship was set to meet them, many villagers pointing at them and sneering as they walked by.

"They really do not like humans here." Hiccup muttered as he watched the villagers, before turning back to Fishlegs. "And to answer your question- these X-12's also serve as excellent conductors. With this, I'll be able to perfect my greatest weapon yet."

Fishlegs gave a groan as the hum of an engine and the sounds of wind currents being swept around neared them. "Not the sword again! Hiccup, there's plenty of plasma swords in the world!"

"But none like this. This will draw energy from the sun and store that same energy for later use- has a higher temperature gauge than any other and is made of the perfect ion-carbon material." He says with a smile as the Night Fury shows itself, the large ship uncloaking right before their eyes. The back entry opened up as Fishlegs trudged into the ship, still silently cursing Hiccup for the mission they'd undertaken.

"So this was just for personal gain then? No pay off?" He asked, Hiccup chuckling to himself.

"Of course there was a payoff! I just think the payoff isn't quite equal to the prize itself." He said with a shrug as the two entered the vehicle.

The ship lifted off with a slow humming sound, before finally shooting off into the skyline and then beyond.

"What exactly was the payoff amount?" Fish asked as they entered the residential area, Hiccup focusing on the part in his hand.

"25,000 digits." Is his response, Fishlegs' giving a look of disgust upon hearing this.

"That's like...four percent of what it's actually worth!" Fishlegs exclaimed, Hiccup nodding along.

"Exactly! So I'm keeping this, and the buyer can just...fuck off I guess." He said as the two entered the bridge, Hiccup taking his seat at the Captain's Helm and Fishlegs walking over to the navigation corner. As they set their next course, the other members of their crew approached.

Hiccup smiled as he set his eyes on The raven haired Heather- who wore a black leather overcoat, zipped all the way up and a pair of navy blue leggings with red lines running down their sides to her black combat boots.

Eret was there beside her, The Twins and Camicazi, looking at their leader's smirking face. Eret wore a brown leather vest that had been zipped over his black long sleeve v-neck, along with a pair of brown pants and boots, a knife resting in a sheath on his left thigh.

"So, how'd it go?" He asked as Hiccup chuckled to himself.

"Got my X-12, and probably a warrant from Alfheim."

"Ah, the usual then." Tuffnut commented while uncrossing his arms and spreading them in a gesture. He wore a brown fur vest over a green zippleback scale short sleeve and brown pants with black boots- his sister's outfit being similar save for her having a zippelback tooth chain around her neck and a dagger tucked into a sheath on her left boot.

"The usual?! How many times do you guys steal stuff when I'm not informed?" Fishlegs asks with a scowl as Cami rested a hand on his shoulder- she wore a blue scale armor top with sleeves that ran down to her hands , a pair of black training pants and boots.

"A lot sweetie, a lot." She said with a subtle smirk- one that Fishlegs had grown to love to see upon the dirty blonde haired woman's face. Since the Fall of Berk- a lot had changed.

Most of Hiccup's old crew had broken away and moved to other areas of the galaxy- last he'd heard of Snotlout his cousin was the star of a Fighting Ring on Jaxxus. Astrid had apparently turned to a life of Hoverbike racing on Sigma-6.

"Alright enough chit chat, we gotta get outta Alfheim airspace before-" Eret had begun while taking his seat, finding himself being cut off by the shaking off the ship's hull.

"And we've got company." Camicazi confirmed with a sigh as she rushed over to the gunner seat- Eret panning the ships exterior cameras around to spot the attacker.

"Left side- it looks like a Grimborn ship but darker." The man said as Hiccup began to set a new course.

"Everyone to your stations, Eret you begin to fly us out and Cami you stay on front defenses- Twins you guys take rear." The man said as he locked onto his next location. They all heard a sudden beeping at the helm and Hiccup turned towards Heather.

"That ship is seeking transmission." She explained, Hiccup's eyes narrowing slightly.

"Patch then through." He said, watching as the windshield was soon covered with a grin image. It was an alien, with light gray and black scaled skin, his cold blue irises and black pupils cutting into everyone's souls.

"Bewilderbeast, to what do I owe this pleasure?" Hiccup asked with a snarky tone, much to the distaste of the creature.

"We had a deal Haddock...you deliver my part as soon as you get it- not change your course to another system." The man spoke with venom in his tone.

"Yeah about that deal.. ya see I never actually took the money for it, so it's invalid." Hiccup explained as he lifted up the part he'd collected. "And this is far more valuable than any of your lowballed offers." He smirked at the man, Bewilderbeast's eyes widening slightly.

"You'll pay for this, human scum."

"Woah, watch the racism there bud. Don't wanna get yourself in any trouble with the Galactic Federation now do ya?" Hiccup asked, chuckling to himself before motioning towards Heather.

Bewilderbeast's face disappeared from the screen then, and the Night Fury took off in a blur of black coloration.

"Push the ship into incognito mode and keep on pushing, Twins keep those turrets ready in case they somehow find us." Hiccup said as he stretched out his arms and moved to lean back in his seat. His rest was cut short by a red alarm blaring.

"We've got incoming!!" Eret shouted as Hiccup rushed back up and pulled up a rear visual. Bewilderbeast's ship was gaining on them and had sent out several torpedos.

"Evasive maneuvers, Twins lock on and return fire!" He shouted. Eret nodded as he sent the ship into its secondary gear mode. The wings on the outside expanded outwards and the hull lifted slightly, giving it a more aerodynamic feel and look. He began to weave through each torpedo, smirking as they all shot past and hit a few stray asteroids.

"Nice!" Cami called over as she went over the various language logs in the computer and began to forge a message in Bewilderbeast's native language.

"Cami, what are you doing?" Fishlegs asked as he held onto his seat carefully.

"Sending a bit of misdirection their way." She replied before sending the message. "Dear Bewilderbeast, this is General Skull of the StarShip Boneknapper, we've caught sight of the ship you're trailing down. They've changed their course to the gamma quadrant- we'll be waiting to spring a trap on them with an electromagnetic pulse at your command."

"Nice!!" Hiccup shouted with a smile as he checked the rear visual once again. That seemed to do the trick as Eret shifted the ship back into its normal mode and hit a left turn, making it appear as though they were actually going that way. He stalled the ship behind a large moon and shifted into camouflage mode- causing a field of energy to encompass the ship that jammed any trackers and reduced the ship's own signals to absolute zero- they would go on undetected with this.

The plates on the outside of the ship shifted to reflect everything else around them- Darkness.

They waited for a few moments, watching their personal sensors intensely. They watched as Bewilderbeast's ship soon drifted far out of their range.

"Alright, were in the clear." Heather said as she turned to Eret. "Fly us outta here." She said, watching as the man nodded as entered the Lightspeed dash node- taking the ship a quarter of a light year away within a few minutes.

The Night Fury came to rest just outside of the Galactic Rest Stop, a vast planet that served as a home, or temporary rest station for thousands of travelers. The ship parked in their own personal spot and shifted its form, now appearing to be a white cargo ship from the outside.

"Alright guys, that was some awesome escape tactics..now let's get some food and some rest." Hiccup said as he , Heather and Fish began to leave to enter the Stop.

After about thirty minutes, they returned carrying various food items inside of a hovercraft, moving straight to the ship's kitchen to store it all.

"So, what's our next move?" Heather asked as Hiccup put away several lives of bread. He paused for a moment to look at her,

"What do you mean?" He asked, watching as a small frown came upon her face.

"We can't keep stealing and taking bounties forever right? Where's all the real fun? The life changing adventure? The..peace?" She asked, watching as he moved over and wrapped her into a hug.

"It'll come soon..I promise." He said, letting go of her. "I just don't know when...but when it does, I swear you'll get the happy ending you deserve." He said. She kissed his cheek and stared up into his eyes with a smile.

"The happy ending we deserve." She corrected.

"You're right...the one we de-" he stopped short of his statement and found himself hunching over the ink in a fit of coughing. Heather reached out and placed a hand upon his back, rubbing it gently.

"Again? You've been having these coughing fits for a while now." She said, her concern only getting higher with every time.

"Yeah...I still don't know what it is. Not even Fishlegs can diagnose it." He said with a frown. "But I'm sure it's not as bad as it could be." He said, standing up straight. That was, until his head suddenly began to hurt. Before he knew it, all of his surroundings were flooded with a red tint.

"Holy shit.." he muttered before rushing off, ignoring Heather's calls behind him.

Hiccup gave a large sigh as he rushed into the restroom, running the water warm and splashing it upon his face before looking up to the mirror. He looked worse for wear- his face showing signs of sleep loss and his body aching in every place he could move. He felt sick- sick as though he'd release all he'd eaten into the toilet soon.

He noticed something, something that struck fear into his heart. For the most part, his mind waved it off as nothing more than him seeing things. But he could've sworn his eyes flashed from their usual forest green- to a light, bloodshot red. And then it was gone, as though it never happened to begin with.
