2 days later...

"So let me get this straight. She's an ancient Egyptian princess..."

"Whoa. Where'd Egyptian come from?"

"Come on Corrine. It's called adding foreshadowing for the readers! Duh! Continue Roxy~"

"Hey. Don't call me Roxy."

"How about Roxs?"

"I don't like Roxs either."

"Roxas, then."

"I've never thought of that one. It's cute...but still no."

"Then what do I call you?"

"Just stick with Roxanna."

"..."

"..."

"...So, Roxy, it is."

"Ugh! Why are you so difficult?!" The black-haired girl with fuchsia highlights groaned in frustration. "As I was SAYING~ Corrine is suppose to be this "all-powerful" princess in charge of basically the entire universe, who lost her memory and got transported into another world, only to come back to this world for a brief amount of time, go back to the other world again to forget about her time there, then come back AGAIN for a final time, find out the truth and gain all her memories back~Hwahh!" The girl breathed in. "And I'm supposed to be her modern-day reincarnation who follows in her footsteps and helps her on the rest of her journey! Did I get all of it?"

"For the most part. But we would use the phrase "realm" instead of "world". It makes things less confusing."

"Not to me. It doesn't look like it does for Corrine either." The teenaged black-haired boy frowned. "And who are you suppose to be again?"

"Me? Only the smartest youngin' the universes have ever seen! The most loyal, royal knight the Princess has at her beck and call! Niall Casterwill is my name, don't wear it out!"

"He's also supposed to be my little brother in this world..."

"Realm you mean."

"Realm, yes. But honestly, he's basically my family at this point."

"Aw. Thanks, Corrine."

"No problem." The black-haired girl with blue highlights responded.

"Corrine and Niall Casterwill..." Roxanna trailed off in thought.

"Yes? Do you think you understand now?" Niall asked her.

"From what you've told me, I don't think I'll ever be able to fully understand the complexity of this situation, haha." She rubbed her neck and laughed nervously. "It took a whole freakin' day and a half to explain what you know about all of this. You both are a mess~!" Corrine and Niall sweatdropped. "~And now I am as well! Considering I just had SOMEONE ELSE'S FREAKIN' SOUL INHABIT MY BODY~Uuuuh!" She breathed in.

"Are you done now?" Corrine asked, "I'm not even inside you anymore."

"That's not the point!"

"She's right." Niall agreed, "The point is that you two were able to successfully fuse together for just a moment. Do you know what this means?" The girls stared down at the boy. "Corrine~You have your own Hikari!"

"Hikari? Why does that sound familiar..."

"Please Corrine. I know you lost your previous memories but think of the not-too-distant past. You used to be a Yugioh fangirl after all; it's time to put that knowledge to good use!" Corrine's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Come on! Think about it!"

"A Hikari? I don't-?!" Corrine seemed to understand. "You mean like the opposite of a Yami~oh shi-"

"Ah-ha! It's finally hit you!" Niall clapped his hands together dramatically, "You are officially an OG Yugioh character!"

"I wouldn't go that far..." Corrine faced Roxanna, "But he's right. This strange phenomenon has completely inducted us into this realm's storyline. And your existence proves just that."

"Hold on, you two." Roxanna holds out a hand, "You're talking about this like it's all just some TV show or something haha!" She laughed. Roxanna blushed nervously at the empty stares they both gave her. "Huh!? Hey! This is real life!"

"Right, to you it may be." Corrine's bored stare never left Roxanna's shocked expression.

"Your Highness, a word." Corrine bent down so Niall could whisper in her ears. "Maybe it's best if we keep the fact that these realms are tv shows that we binged back when we were in the Realm of the Real to ourselves for now. Especially this one in particular." Niall suggested. "It would only complicate things more here. Plus, there's a chance she, or anyone that finds out, could develop feelings of insecurity and self-awareness: something that we knights would have to deal with eventually." Niall's eyes narrowed, "Let's not make a mess..."

"I disagree." Niall was taken aback. "Okay, maybe I agree, but to some extent."

"But Princess~"

"Back then when we first arrived here, we didn't think about hiding that fact and nothing bad happened...not exactly..." Corrine trailed off.

"But we didn't know better than. We didn't remember." Niall whispered. "We don't know how much things have changed here or how it could affect~!"

"~Roxanna already knows mostly everything about our presence in Yugioh at this point." Corrine cut him off. "Especially now that I'm able to share a body with her, I find it pointless to hide any more of the truth. From her at least." Corrine reasoned. "When it comes to anyone else, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. From now on, just let me be the judge of who we should tell and what we should tell alright?"

Niall's eyes widened when Corrine's dark blue eyes glimmered slightly. Niall kneeled on the ground and tapped his right wrist to his heart in response. "Yes, Your Highness."

"You..." It was Corrine's turn to go wide-eyed. Snapping out of it, however, she chopped him in the head mid bow. "STOP WITH THE FORMALITIES!"

"OW! THAT HURT!"

"GOSH YOUR SO ANNOYIN'!" Corrine shouted aggressively, reverting back to her old manner of speech. Niall smiled a little to himself.

'Maybe...she's not completely gone...' He thought.

"Um hello? I'm still here!" Roxanna yelled, "Talk to me!"

"About what?" The two asked in unison. Roxanna growled.

"Um hello!? TV show? What mumbo jumbo are you spouting now!?" The two exchanged a look. "Well?! Are you still there? Can you still hear me, old-timers?!"

"Listen here you little shi-"

"Corrine down!" Niall held her back. "And I'm not old! Corrine, maybe...I'M SORRY!" Niall reflexively defended himself before Corrine could attack. "I'M JOKING, I'M JOKING!"

Corrine composed herself, "Alright, look. I'm only saying this once."

"Like everything else you just said-"

"Quiet, you pathetic peon!" Corrine cleared her throat, "One last thing you need to know is that, Niall and I...do to our "experience" in the Realm of the Real..."

"Partially due to." Niall corrected. Corrine ignored him.

"...We are sort of...self aware?...about everything that's meant to happen. Here in Yugioh. Or this place as you know it." Roxanna started to interrupt, "Upbuppabup! Listen!" She shut her mouth as Corrine struggled to form her explanation. "...T-The people we knew before, they took that information and thought that we were...psychic I guess...And we kind of are...But we're not~" Niall facepalmed and held a hand out, stopping Corrine.

"Long story shorter," Niall started, "In the Realm of the Real, your world, this realm, is a TV show. It revolves around a certain someone that lives here in Domino City." He explained. "Because we watched it, we know how the next few years will play out here, or rather have a blueprint of what could happen." Corrine gave him a look of confusion. "Because of Corrine and I, those events previously written have changed according to what we did when we accidentally fell back into Animan~ah, I'll just say the Yugioh realm." Niall held his chin in thought, "Since we left before the timeline reset and have returned to the past-present-central point of this realm, there's no telling whether the timeline's reverted to normal or not. Without the use of my powers, it'll be difficult to pinpoint just how much the timeline has reverted. Has our presence been deleted here, or do they still remember us..."

Corrine and Roxanna sweatdropped when Niall's tangent turned into a spoken inner monologue. Instead of speaking to the girls, Niall started speaking to himself, lowering his tone. "I hope all his mumbling wasn't important." Roxanna said.

"Look, Yugioh Realm = Your world. Niall and I = Powerful outer world beings you don't wanna play with. Just do what we say!" Corrine commanded.

"Yes, ma'am!" Roxanna saluted. "I leave my life into your hands, extremely ancient almighty royal ancestor!"

"Good~hey quit it!" Roxanna giggled.

"Now that that's over with, is there a significance as to why we are outside of this building now?" The three looked up at the building on the corner of the street with the bulging letters on top. "G-A-M-E?"

"Speeding up the story instead of telling more boring recap and future exposition."

"What?"

"Nothing."

Roxanna dropped the issue, "G-A-M-E?" She repeated, "What is this place? Who lives here?"

"The Kame Game Shop. Aw, they still have the turtle on the sign..." Niall pokes at it, "From what I remember about Yugioh, this is where our story begins."

"Okay...but who lives here?"

"Yugi..." Corrine seemed to pale.

"Yugi?"

"The man, the myth, the legend! The King! Of Games! Yugi Muoto!...Although it's probably Moto now hehe." Niall let out as much dramatics as he could muster at that moment. "I'm hoping and praying we landed in the Season 1 dub so freakin' bad! English, please! English, please!"

"The anime versions change sporadically how it wanted last time, remember?" Corrine told him, her hands on her hips.

"...oh yeah. Nevermind."

Roxanna tapped her chin, "Yugi Moto...Where have I heard that name before?"

"You're a knight of Animania shouldn't you remember how all this works?"

"Stop busting my balls, Corrine. Let a brother breathe."

"Language."

"I refuse to take that back."

"It's...It's on the tip of my tongue..." Roxanna ignored the sibling argument, still in thought.

"I am not a child, stop treating me like one!"

"You are 16 years old!"

"See? You've verbally proven my point. I am not a child. I am an adolescent teen." Corrine threw back her head and screamed. Niall folded his arms and smirked triumphantly. "Ore no kachi da." (* My win.)

"I've got it!" The two snapped their heads around when Roxanna clapped her hands. "I have a second cousin named Yugi Moto!"

"...Really?"

"Yeah! I had forgotten because I haven't seen him since I moved away when we were kids! Wow, how could I forget this place?! And cousin too! His hair is so distinct!" She exclaimed excitedly, "Cousin Yugi lives here! Oh wow, the memories! So nostalgic!"

"Hold up...wait no...that makes sense, 'cause you're the reincarnation and all...Ewwwwwwwwwwwww!" Niall suddenly exclaimed.

"What is it now Niall?" Corrine asked.

"That means, in all those fanfictions people used to make about Yugi and Yami x their reincarnation OCs...but they were in a...THAT'S INCEST OMG!"

"To a degree, yeah. I thought you knew that Niall. Come on, dude. It's just a fandom norm at this point."

"But still~! Ah wait! Roxy, you probably don't know what we're talking about..."

Roxanna shook her head, "The last day and a half has taught me that if I get lost in a conversation with one of you, to deem what you are saying as unimportant and ignore it!" She shouted with a full smile.

"Well...That's one way to go about it..."

"I want to go in and see cousin! Can I see if he's here!? He's here, isn't he? That's why we're here!?" Roxanna had suddenly grown hyper.

"SettleDOwnRaDamn!" Niall shook his own head. "Yes, that's why we're here. To see how far the plot has come, we need to see Yugi's progress. I think there's a key still underneath the mat~Yes. Yes, there is. Score one for Niall!" The glass door clicked. "Alright, Ladies! WE'RE IN~"

"WAIT! I can't go in!"

"Oh yes you can!" Roxanna and Niall turned around to Corrine in unison, "Come on don't get cold feet now! We're so close!"

"I can't let him see me...I just can't."

"Why not?" Roxanna asked worriedly, "Are you sca~"

"I'mNotScared." Corine quickly responded, "That's not it!"

"Oh! I see you, Corrine! Thinkin' about the future plot, you go gurl!" Corrine slapped her forehead upon Niall's interpretation.

"No it's just...if... "he" sees me...I don't know how he'll react. I don't know how I'll react."

"You're right. Oh, and what if because of the reset, he forgot about you? About us..." Niall's expression of amusement contorted into despair, "You're absolutely right on this, Princess. We need to keep our existence a secret for a while. Just until we figure out how this story is evolving. And if the roles we play in all this have changed."

"My cousin has another self?"

"Short Answer, yes."

"Let me guess. All in due time right?"

"You'll get your answers when I give them to you Hoe!"

"Niall! Language!"

"Sorry, Corrine. I'm just a LITTLE ON EDGE RIGHT NOW! But it's not your fault, so don't worry." The two girls just stared at the black-haired youth. "So what's the game plan then? We didn't come all this way just to turn back now!"

"Um, you teleported us~"

"JUST TO TURN BACK NOW?! NO! I DIDN'T THINK SO." Roxanna shut her mouth. "Ra Damn, I swear it's like speaking with two twin Corrines!"

"Well, she is my reincarnation~"

"SHUSH!" He silenced Corrine. "HUSH!" He silenced Roxanna. "Okay! Problem-solving time!" Niall silently questioned his sanity, "How are we gonna get in and out of here without getting noticed!?"

"..."

"...Can't you just use your realix to make us invisible or something? Mr. Knight?"

"I can't work like this; I'm leaving. I revoke my own title as a knight of Animania." Niall left down the street. The girls ushered him back.

"It's not a bad idea Niall."

"Yeah, can you do it for us pretty please~!"

"I would if I REMEMBERED MY SPELLS! EXCUSE ME FOR JUST HAVING BEEN REAWAKENED ONLY A COUPLE WEEKS AGO!"

"Let's just stop talking to this child. He's really agitated today."

"Yes, he seems to be having a very bad day. I hope he feels better soon."

"OH. MY. RA! MOTHERFLIPPIN'!" Niall threw back his head in frustration and walked a few feet away to sulk.

"I'm sorry Roxanna, he's not normally like this." Corrine apologized. "I think I can get us invisible. I just haven't used this realix in a long time. I may be rusty." She gestured to the blueish diamond around her neck.

"No problem Corrine. I understand. Do your best! Every minute we spend here is a new part of our adventure!"

"Alright. Realix, make us invisible!" The gem didn't glow. "Huh? That's weird, it didn't work."

"What if it did work and we just can't tell cause we can see each other?" Roxanna insisted. Just then a butterfly landed on her shoulder.

Corrine frowned, "Yup. Totally."

"Hey, I was only trying to be supportive!" Roxanna puffed her cheeks. "Guess I'll have to try!" She pulled out her Realix from her jacket pocket, "Realix! Make us invisible, please!"

"What the heck was adding please gonna do!?"

"Aw, it's not glowing like it did before." Roxanna ignored Corrine, "I wonder what we could be doing wrong~" Just as Roxanna held up her Realix to Corrine's, both glowed at the exact same time. The girls were engulfed in light.

"Huh? Roxanna! Princess!" Niall turned just in time to witness it. The light had died down, but only one girl remained in place. "C-Corrine?"

"No...it's me, Roxanna." Roxanna muttered slowly, "Corrine is..."

"I'm still here." A voice echoed. Niall looked around, but only Roxanna could see her. Niall shook his head, a faint glow appearing in his eyes. Suddenly he could see Corrine again, but her appearance wasn't as visible as before. "It would seem that I'm~"

"IN MY BODY AGAIN!" She spun around. "GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT!"

"HEY, I DIDN'T DO THIS ON PURPOSE! THE REALIXS DID! STOP THIS! I'M GONNA HURL!"

Niall tapped his chin, "It makes sense." The girls stopped fighting to acknowledge him. "Your Realixs fused together. Look." He walked over and gripped the gem around Roxanna's neck. His smile suddenly grew. "THIS IS PERFECT. THE STORY IS TELLING US HOW WE SHOULD PROCEED! EXCELLENT."

"I don't like that look on his face." Corrine told Roxanna.

"Please be gentle with us, Niall-kun!"

20 minutes later~ (MPK: Haven't done a time skip in a while huh? HYuk Hyuk!)

"You guys find anything?" Niall whispered.

"No!" Roxanna whispered back. "Status report!"

"It's going as planned. Their eyes are all glued to the TV just like in the episode! Even Grandpa~" Niall looks over the banister railing, "I think we're in episode 2 by the way. This must be when that VCR tape of Pegasus arrives!"

"Remember it could be the manga, Niall." Corrine's ghostly figure whispered in the doorway.

"You're right! I don't think Yugi's gramps was initially in this scene this long...Maybe he gave Yugi the package already...You guys need to hurry up!"

"There's nothing in Yugi's room out of the ordinary, Corrine says." Roxanna reports, "Hey! Why are we snooping around in cousin's upstairs instead of talking with them anyway!"

"Did you already forget about Operation: SNEAK, Roxy!?" Niall's face is determined. "The point is to steer clear of Yugi and his friends until we have a full understanding of how the story is progressing! That's why your Realixs fused together! So that if we get caught, I can just introduce you as Roxanna as a decoy! They'll never recognize me now that I've hit puberty! HAHAHAHA!" The girls shush him. Niall looks downstairs hesitantly.

"Huh? Grandpa, did you hear something?"

"Hear what, Yugi?"

"It sounded something like, childish laughter~"

"I'm no child! Sonofa-Mmmh~!" Roxanna exited Yugi's room to cover Niall's mouth.

"You'll blow our cover, Little Knight!" Niall gained an anime vein mark.

"The Millennium puzzle has been acting weird since early this afternoon. Maybe I should check the shop." Yugi Moto got up from his seat on the sofa. "You never know if there's someone trying to get into the shop."

"Well hurry back Yuge! You don't want to miss the itsy bitsy bugs against the dueling dinosaurs. LOL!"

"Sure thing...Joey!"

'JOEY!?' Corrine and Niall thought in unison. They looked at each other with the exact same thought. 'So this is Anime dub rules~'

"Did you just say L-O-L? You're such a loser, Joseph." Tristan told him only confirming their suspicions.

"If that's the case, they're going to put the tape in any minute now! I just bought us some time." Niall turns to Corrine. "Quick! Roxy, Corrine. Check Corrine's old room and see if any of her items have been left behind! We need to know for sure the timeline didn't delete us from it!" The girls nodded and shut the door behind them. "As for me..." Niall peeked into his old room. He picked up the item laying on the dresser with a smirk. "This is all I need. LOL." Niall flipped the small video camera in his hand. "The memories...feel so distant..." He murmured as he exited his room. "Hold on." Something sitting in Yugi's room caught his eye. He approached Yugi's bedroom door with caution. "Is this? It is..." On Yugi's desk, sitting next to the golden Millennium box the puzzle pieces had been in, a deck of cards sat. Niall was 90% sure those cards were not apart of Yugi's deck. This...this deck was his.

FLASHBACK...

"Yugi!"

"What is it Treyvon?" Yugi asked, "Corrine is downstairs..."

"No! I want to hang out with you! It's #5 on my Yugioh bucket list!"

"Really? Okay...What do you want to do?"

"You promised me before...That you'd teach me how to duel!" Treyvon smiled to himself. He already knew how to duel. But come on, what Yugioh fan wouldn't want tips from the greatest duelist around!? "It's #1 on my list...Please! Make a deck with me! And teach me how to become the greatest duelist alive!"

Yugi seemed to laugh at his determination, "Alright Treyvon. I promise to tell you about the ins and outs of dueling. And if you're good today, we can start your deck construction!"

"Really!? Thanks, Yugi! I won't let you down!"

FLASHBACK END

"That was just before I betrayed him and called him out for being a liar." Niall picked up the deck, "It's not even finished. But the point is it's still here. And he held onto it." He gripped the deck in his hands. Niall eyed Yugi's deck that was only a few inches away. At that moment, he was alerted by the sound of footsteps traveling up the staircase. Niall instinctively ducked towards the doorway.

"That's weird. The Millennium puzzle has never acted like this before." Sure enough, just outside in the hall, Yugi stared at his puzzle in confusion. Glowing as it floated outward from his body, the puzzle pointed like a magnet, changing course in different directions. Yugi followed the puzzle all the way to his room. In a panic, Niall spun around in time to hide behind Yugi's bedroom door as he opened it. Yugi looked around, "Huh? Nothing's here?" Niall moved his right foot to the side impulsively and it made a creek in the floorboards.

'DAMMIT HARDWOOD FLOOR!'

"HUH?" The puzzle pointed toward the door. Yugi backed up, "WHO'S THERE!?" You could tell he was trying to sound as intimidating as he could. "Are you another spirit!? If you don't come out now, I'll find you!" Niall slipped a hand over his mouth. The intensity of the moment made Niall's heart beat miles a minute. "Fine! Have it your way!" Yugi slowly made his way toward the open door. Niall felt the sweat fall from his forehead. His realix glowed green underneath his clothes. "I've got you now!" When his hand was gripped firmly on the door handle, Yugi pulled it towards him. "AH HA!" He shouted.

But there was no one there.

The millennium puzzle stopped glowing and fell back against Yugi's chest. "That's...I was so sure that~" Yugi cautiously placed his hand against the wall in front of him. "What's wrong with this thing? What's wrong with me? I keep getting my hopes up...for nothing."

"YUGE! Come down here! You already missed the duel!"

"What!?" Yugi shouted from his doorway.

"Yeah! That Weevil Underwood won the duel, who would've thought!?"

"Yugi come on! We want to see the tape Industrial Illusions sent you! There's a glove too~"

"I'm coming back!" Yugi took one last look at the wall before ripping off his Millenium puzzle and running back downstairs without it.

Niall fell out of Yugi's closet, dropping onto his knees. "That was...so nervewracking..." He held his heart, "Why was I...so scared...of him finding me?" Niall noticed his camcorder on the ground next to him. He picked it up and turned it on. He played the last video.

Niall: "I merely exist to protect the princess...It's my number one duty, and right now you are classified as something that is dangerous to her well being, you liar. It is now your judgment time, Pharaoh...Time to tell the truth, or hope to die."

He played the next one.

Yami: What's wrong Ms. Pervert? Too dazzled by what you see? You've lost your balance.

Corrine: That was you and you know it~!

Niall paused the video. "It's all still here. So we haven't been deleted. But then...what has changed!?" Niall suddenly here's music coming from downstairs. "What? The hell?" Niall's realix gleamed in response. Suspicious, Niall grabbed the puzzle and finally made his way out of Yugi's room. He peered down over the banister. Yugi's living room was covered in a cloud of purple smoke. However, Niall was sure that the music was coming from the TV down below. He cautiously walked down the steps. "Yugi? Everyone!" In the haze, he could make out that everyone in the room was unconscious, even Yugi. "What is going on here!?"

"Well hello, there~Treyvon Casterwill." Niall's attention flashed toward the TV. "Do you mind troubling me for a duel? Everyone else seems to be preoccupied! Hmmmmhmmmmhmmmhmmm!" Niall cringed. "Besides, I've been meaning to have a talk with you. The stakes are high. So let's have a chat, about the near future. Mwahahahahahaha!"

'He wants to duel me? Not Yugi?' Niall gripped his unfinished deck behind his back in his right hand. "A 15-minute timelimit right? And if I win you won't take anyone's soul!?"

"Correct. I had a feeling you'd already know. But perhaps, we can make a little larger of a wager~"

With his left hand, Niall pulls Yugi's deck out of his pocket and shuffles it all with the right. "You're on Pegasus."

After rushing down the stairs, Roxanna and Corrine turn to the TV in the living room.

"Niall-kun!?"

"Niall! What happened!?"

On his knees again, Niall muttered slowly, "I...I lost."

"I just knew you would, Niall boy!" Pegasus triumphantly bragged, "But I'm disappointed. Even a mage from out of this world can't even seem to beat the power of a Millennium item. Such a shame." He peeled back his hair to reveal his golden eye.

'He knows about Niall's real identity?' Corrine thought, 'Could he have told him?'

"What is that!?" Roxanna asked.

"It's the Millennium Eye." Corrine explained, "It allows him to see the future." Corrine glared at Niall. "You knew about it and you still dueled the tape!? What were you thinking Niall!?"

"I-I thought I-I could win." Niall stuttered, "I k-knew the order of cards that are played. I even used Yugi's deck combined with my own! But he still...countered my every move! With cards, I haven't seen before!" Niall yelled at the TV, "I'm pretty sure the cards you used weren't released to the public yet! You cheated!"

"I think it's only fair, Niall boy~Considering you did as well."

"WHAT!?"

"Going over the deck limit of cards, the work of sleight of hand during your deck shuffle. You didn't think I would notice hmmm?"

"Niall-kun what's he talking about?"

"Niall, you cheated?" Corrine asked in disbelief.

"It...it was a precautionary measure." He insisted, "There was no way I could trust this guy, I had to win! I thought the loss would have been too great if I didn't!" Niall pretended not to notice the crack in his voice or the tears forming in his eyes. "Under any other circumstances, I would never cheat! I swear it!"

"Niall..." The girls muttered the distraught teen's name.

"Aw~Don't cry Niall boy~" Pegasus cooed through the tape. "I believe you, honest~"

Niall seemed to revert back to his childish nature. "Y-You do?"

"Of course I do. Besides, it was only a game. Our time was short as well. Under different circumstances, you would have beaten me, fair and square." He was saying everything Niall wanted to hear.

"You think so?" Niall whimpered.

"Yes~"

Niall's eyes grew dull, "Gee...Thanks. Mr. Pegasus."

Alarmed, Corrine's faded image approached the boy, "Niall? What's wrong with you?"

"But now now Niall. You did lose, therefore you forfeit your part of our bet. It's only fair!" Pegasus pointed. "Hand it over."

"Hand what over?" Corrine looked to Niall, who looked as if he couldn't respond. "What did you promise?!"

Niall slowly lifted a green gem towards the television screen. "It's all yours, Pegasus." Suddenly Pegasus' smirk grew as a green light engulfed the gem before it faded through the TV screen.

"WAS THAT YOUR REALIX!?"

"NIALL NO!" Corrine didn't know why, but she got a bad feeling when Niall's realix left Niall's body. And that feeling was right when suddenly Niall leaned back on his knees. His body contorted in pain before he screamed, weakly looked up to the ceiling and fell forward. "Niall!" She tried to catch him not remembering she wasn't physically there to do so.

"Niall-kun!" Luckily Roxanna could.

Niall weakly groaned, "He m-made me believe that he didn't know who I r-really was, then I b-bragged about it like a fool. H-He knew exactly w-what he was after from the very beginning! Ugh~"

Roxanna cradled him, "Maximillian J. Pegasus! What did you do to this child!?"

"I did nothing but collect my reward." Pegasus told her, "The price in place of protecting Yugi-boy, his friends, and the two of you! His powers..." He held up Niall's realix. "...and now his soul!" The Millennium Eye brightly gleamed. The light shot out of the TV towards the two bodies.

"No! Please! Ahhhhh!" Just then a yellow light encircled them before the Millennium Eye's power could. It was erupting from the Millenium Puzzle. The two lights fought, until a figure appeared, intersecting the stream of light. The figure helped nudge forward the Puzzle's light so that it would win the battle. The figure's back was turned, but Corrine knew it could only be one person.

"Dammit..." Niall muttered before she could call out to him, "Before...that was him...t-trying to...warn me~!" Niall collapsed unconscious into Roxanna's arms. Roxanna was too fixated on the figure to notice.

"C-Corrine?" She muttered, "W-What is t-that?" The figure turned sideways to look at her. At first, the two seemed to be having an intense staring match. But at another glance, you could see the figure was not staring at Roxanna, but instead staring through her. It, he was staring at Corrine.

"He is Yami." Corrine said returning his stare. She closed her eyes in surrender and silently thanked him. "And he's really going to tell me off when we see each other again." The figure seemed to smile, before fading away. Corrine almost thought she heard a "Damn right." just then, making her smile lightly.

"Impossible! The Millenium Eye? Losing to another Millennium Item?! I didn't foretell such an event! How could this have happened?! This is an outrage!" Pegasus shouted, "That boy owes me his soul!"

Corrine was somehow able to take control over Roxanna's body. "Well, it looks like you're not getting it Pegasus. You were wrong if you think I'll just sit back and let you torment my brother anymore!" She growled with a vengeance. "You try that shite again and I'll delete you from this universe so fast Industrial Illusions will be nothing but an old nightmare!"

She sweatdropped, 'Close enough, I guess.'

Pegasus started to panic, "Curses! How else am I going to convince you to come to Duelist Kingdom~?! N-No matter. I still have the boy's powers at my fingertips, so he must come to me in order to claim them back." Pegasus's working eye lifted to meet Corrine's. "As for you my dear Corrine, there's one other thing I have in my possession that you'll want to come for!"

"And what might that be?"

Pegasus flawlessly lifted a card between his fingers. "This ultra-rare duel monsters card. That in a way, use to belong to you."

'Huh?'

"I'm sure you're wondering what it is." He snorted, "Actually, I created an entire specialized deck per the request of the person who gave this to me. And this card goes perfectly flush with it. This one is really just a teaser." Pegasus flipped the card. Corrine's heart ached suddenly without her knowing why. To think it would have such an impact on her emotionally, her blood ran cold.

"TORA?"

"Before you ask, who I got it from is a secret. SORRY!" Pegasus fiddled with the card. Corrine held her chest. "This tape is coming to an end so listen carefully. If you want to get back your knight's precious realix and these "specialized" cards I made, you'll have to duel me for them at my tournament, Duelist Kingdom! I'm sure you already know how this goes, but if you want to duel me, you'll have to make it all the way to the top! If you don't or you lose against me, I'll be keeping Niall's and your realixs, and I'll have your cards burned to ashes! And trust me, I'm sure you don't want that to happen. They could end up feeling the burn! Hahahaha!"

Corrine growled, 'Sentient Duel Monsters? That I once knew? Besides Tora? This is not good. Pegasus has me pinned well.'

"Your package is outside the game shop's front door waiting for you. You'll be registered as Corrine Casterwill, even though I'm aware that there are two of you. A separate challenge awaits you here, Roxanna Hunter. And I'm afraid you'll need all the help you can get my dear, Mmmmwahahhaahah!" Pegasus clapped his hands, "Now for the last order of business, to capture a motive for Yugi Moto's arrival, courtesy of Niall-boy!" Pegasus used Niall's realix to capture Yugi's grandfather's soul in a blank card. "Ah-ha, I knew the Millennium Puzzle wouldn't oppose the force of the realix. No item in this realm can!"

'Is Pegasus...self-aware? If not, then who's telling him about all of this!?' Corrine pointed at Pegasus, "Pegasus, are you~!?"

"Hold that thought dear, ten seconds left on here. If you have more questions I suggest you hurry and beat me at Duelist Kingdom." He flipped his long grey hair one last time, "Toodaloo!" And then the TV screen went to static. The purple fog lifted and the atmosphere was normal again.

"Corrine...I think we're going to have another day and a half session in which you explain what the heck just happened here!" Roxanna told her.

"I agree. But not here." Corrine stood up with Niall, "We need to go, now. Before the others wake up."

"What about cousin? And Yamu? No Yam-i?" Corrine stiffened, "They won't even know about his grandpa's soul leaving his body!" Corrine grabbed a nearby pad and writes an anonymous note for Yugi, leaving it on his chest.

"There."

"How rude!"

"At least I told them." Corrine also puts the puzzle around Yugi's neck. It faintly glows but fades just as quickly. "Okay. Let's go." She slung Niall's arm around one shoulder and started toward the game shop exit. Outside the glass door, Corrine saw the package Pegasus had mentioned. She lifted it with her free arm. Suddenly Corrine and Roxanna defused and were two separate humans again. "What the-?"

"There's no time Corrine! I think someone's coming." Roxanna struggled to lift Niall, "We've got to leave before someone catches us!"

"You're right." Corrine looked behind her one last time, "Don't worry, we'll meet again soon, Pharaoh."

"CORRINE!"

"ALRIGHT! RA DAMN!" Corrine lifted her realix around her neck. To teleport, she closed her eyes, uttering one word, "Return!" And back to Roxanna's place they went.

The person that had followed them out, touched the glass door. He gripped Corrine's note, "I'll be waiting, Corrine." He said before locking the door and walking back towards the living area.
