Sins of the past
Third person pov
In a far corner of the universe was the solar system of Anthroxia.
It was in many ways similar to our own but with a few differences the sun was a bit bigger and there were only six planets.
Out of these six planets life existed on three.'
From outer space the solar system was in pristine condition but on closer inspection there was a sinister feeling in the atmosphere.
That's what Percy felt as he approached the solar system. He had researched about the shrine and had found a map. But as it turned out the map led to a location from where a person could go closer to the shrine.
He had stolen a teleporter from Chaos and was now using godly energy to propel at great speeds to the planets.
He first went to the third planet from the sun called Paraxis. It was supposed to be inhabited and very beautiful.
But when he landed he was greeted by a grim scene.
The clouds were ashen black. The air tasted sulphurous. There was a heavy mist around.
He then went a bit further he saw a scene that horrified him. There was a city below him. But it wasn't right.
The buildings were wrecked. There were fissures in the ground. He walked a bit further he stepped in a puddle. But then he looked down and saw it wasn't a puddle of water but one filled with blood.
He walked further but he couldn't see any bodies but the occasional dismembered limb or torso.
After a few minutes of walking he started seeing bodies. But they weren't killed they were torn apart, ripped to shreds. There were so many it was difficult to walk without stepping on one.
Then finally he saw it. In a big clearing a massive black pyramid like structure. But that wasn't the worst part. Out of the sides of the pyramid there were spears jutting out and these spears covered the entire pyramid.
And on each spear there was person impaled. Women, children, elders none had been spared. And their blood dripped down the sides of the pyramids and flowed to the ground.
Around the pyramid a sort of moat had been dug and that moat was filled with the blood of the people impaled.
Looking at this sight Percy felt sick. He had also fought a fair share of wars but this wasn't a war it was a massacre, a genocide.
He quickly left the planet after that he decide to go to Xephones. Another habitable planet.
When he got there he saw the same view but he then noticed the moat on this planet wasn't fully filled which meant whoever or whatever did this was nearby.
He quickly went to the final planet Kenates.
Again the same view but as he looked around he felt some motion he looked to see a woman she was barely breathing a her right arm had been torn apart.
Percy was no doctor but he knew there was no saving her from this.
So he knelt down next to her and asked
"Who did this."
"Th-the darkness its too powerful its happening ha-has finally ris-risen again."
After saying this the woman died.
Suddenly the entire surroundings turned dark. Percy thought it was the sun setting, but then he realised that it was a huge shadow.
He turned around an on seeing what was the shadow he could only say one thing.
"What the fu-"
