This is something new I've been working on and I thought people might like it: MCU Avengers and Ultraman. What if in a different reality, Peter Parker wasn't Spider-Man? What if he was someone else?
I don't own Marvel, Tsuburaya Productions, Ultraman, Spider-Man or any of their characters.
New York City:
It was meant to be a quiet day in New York City but it was loud as a giant red, purple and silver body fell backwards into the East River. The giant looked up at the opponent: it was a giant monster that roared like a dinosaur. It had two horns on its head as well as one of its nose, a long tail and a rocky chest.
"Gotta get back up!" The figure spoke without the mouth moving. The figure got up to reveal more details: the body was mainly red, purple and silver with a gold chest plate as gold wrist and ankle guards. He also had a blue gem on his chest and cyan crystal on his forehead. "Let's go, Gomora!" The figure shouted as he ran towards the monster, they both fought until Gomora's tail smacked the giant, causing him to hit the Williamsburg Bridge. The giant held up his right hand then like by magic, something flew through the sky and landed in the giant's hand.
"Circle Arms!" The weapon announced, it was a sword with a purple blade with a red circle around the handle. The giant ran towards the monster then slashed it as Gomora roared.
"Time to finish this!" The giant shouted then the blade of the Circle Arms started glowing purple. Gomora turned around but the giant was gone.
"Zeperion Sword Finish!" Gomora looked up to see the giant fly down then slashed the monster, the giant slid across the water then stopped as Gomora blew up. As the giant turned around to look at the destruction, the blue gem on his chest started flashing red. The giant then jumped and flew into the sky, leaving the scene and the city.
Two months ago:
There was a huge battleship that had landed on the outskirts of New York City, it was the Guardians HQ: Guard Pegasus. It was the main base for the people who were chosen to protect Earth from any alien threats. On board the battleship, there were several crew members but there were five members that were the best of them all: Captain Steve Rogers, Head Scientist Bruce Banner, Head Engineer Anthony "Tony" Stark, Tactics Expert Natasha Romanoff and Ace Pilot Carol Danvers.
It was a quiet day and Carol had just left her room and she was wearing civilian clothing: blue jeans with tears on the knees, white trainers, a red t-shirt and a blue denim jacket. As Carol was going to see a friend. She headed toward the hanger bay when she walked past her teammate, Natasha Romanoff, who was heading towards the shooting range.
"Hey Carol, where you heading off to?" Natasha asked curiously and Carol smiled as she was carrying a backpack.
"I'm heading off to see a friend of mine but he's more like a young brother," Carol answered and Natasha smiled. "He's called Peter: I met him when we were in high school. He's a few years younger than me." Carol explained as they walked towards the hanger bay.
"Well, don't let me hold you up any longer. Go and enjoy yourself." Natasha smiled and Carol nodded, she ran over to one of the bikes and put on a helmet then rode down the ramp.
Queens:
On a basketball count, a young man was playing basketball on his own whilst listening to music through his headphones. He was wearing black jeans, blue trainers and a red t-shirt, as well as had short black spiky hair. The young man jumped and threw the ball into the hoop just as a black and red motorcycle pulled up nearby, the man stopped playing and removed his headphones as the motorcyclist removed their helmet; it was Carol.
"Hey Pete!" Carol shouted over then smiled, Pete smiled back as he grabbed his basketball then ran over to the blonde haired woman. The pair hugged each other then they sat down on a wall near them. "How's your Aunt been? Still having trouble?" Carol asked and Pete nodded.
"It's been a few months since Uncle Ben died and while Aunt May says she's fine, I can tell she's lying," Peter told her and it made Carol worry. "We're slowly getting better. How are things with you? Still the ace pilot for the Guardians?" Peter asked and Carol chuckled.
"I'm so good that I've been nicknamed Ace," Carol chuckled and the pair laughed. They got up and walked across the street, they were heading to an apartment block whilst they were still talking.
"How are things with that girl you told me about? Michelle, was it?" Carol asked and Peter looked embarrassed. "What did you do?" Carol asked and Peter looked at her with an embarrassed look.
"You know that Valentine's Day was three days ago?" Peter asked and Carol nodded, she waited for Peter to explain what he did. "I went to her apartment and knocked on her door but before she opened it, I placed a small bouquet of flowers outside and left. I did leave a note though." Peter explained and he felt stupid, Carol smiled then hugged him.
Apartment block:
Peter and Carol walked out of the elevator and walked down the hall, they were still talking about Peter's crush on MJ which was making Peter feel nervous and embarrassed.
"On the note, it read 'To MJ. You are as beautiful as an angel and you light up my world. Happy Valentine's Day. An admirer.' " Peter told her and Carol smiled. "Do you think I should tell her? Tell MJ how I feel?" Pete asked as he was nervous about what to do next.
"Yeah but don't rush into it. Wait for the right moment." Carol advised and Peter nodded. "I actually brought you something. It's from the Guardians HQ." Peter was surprised as Carol handed him an envelope. The two walked out the elevator and walked down the corridor while Peter was holding the envelope close to his chest.
"Could this be my acceptance letter to join?" Peter asked as he was looking at the envelope. Carol shrugged her shoulders then she took out a key and unlocked the door, the pair walked on then Peter sat on the couch and opened the envelope. Just as Peter opened the envelope, a brunette haired woman walked in: she was wearing crimson jeans, black flats and a dark blue blouse.
"Hey May." Carol smiled and the older woman smiled as she walked over, the pair hugged then they sat down on the stools in the kitchen.
"Carol! It's been a while. It's great to see you again, it's been a few months since we last saw you." May smiled and Carol nodded. May looked over to see Peter was reading a letter on the couch. "What's that Peter is reading?" May asked as her curiosity kicked in, Carol looked over at Peter then looked back at May.
"It's a reply from Guardian HQ to see if he's been accepted or declined," Carol explained then the two women watched as Peter got up and walked over to them. "What is it, Pete?" Carol asked as they both looked worried about the reply from the Guardians.
"They accepted me," Peter told them, then he smiled. "I've been accepted and with my science knowledge, I've been assigned to work alongside the Head Scientist: Bruce Banner." Peter told them then May jumped off her stool and hugged her nephew while Carol smiled.
"Congratulations Peter!" May exclaimed as she couldn't believe it, her little nephew was growing up so fast. "When do you leave?" May asked as she wanted to know when Peter had to leave, Peter looked at the letter and read more.
"They want to meet me tomorrow." Peter answered then May smiled, she ran into the kitchen and started making food to celebrate. Meanwhile, Peter and Carol went to Peter's room to talk more. Peter opened his bedroom door then sat on his bed while Carol sat on the chair by his computer as she placed her backpack next to her.
"Just a heads up: being a member of the Guardians won't be easy," Carol warned him with a smile and Peter looked up. "When an alien attack happens, we're all sent out: including Banner. But you'll be trained well. The team I'm a part of has an ace fighter, Natasha: she'll likely train you in hand to hand and shooting combat." Carol explained and Peter nodded then he looked down at the floor.
"Carol, can I ask you something?" Peter asked cautiously as he looked at the floor, Carol was concerned then she got up and sat next to Peter. "Lately, I've been having strange dreams and they make no sense." Peter started explaining and Carol looked puzzled.
"Can you tell me about these dreams?" Carol asked and Peter didn't move for a moment then he slowly nodded.
"For the past two months, they were about a giant being; it was glowing white and fighting giant monsters but then last night, the dream changed," Peter looked at Carol and she could tell that this was bothering Peter. "Last night, a glowing white figure appeared and spoke directly to me: saying my name as well." Carol was concerned then she placed a hand on Pete's shoulder for comfort.
"Do you remember what this figure said, Pete?" Carol asked as she was getting worried. Peter nodded then he rubbed his head as he was thinking about the speech, word for word.
"She said: 'Peter Parker, you are the one to be the light in the darkness. You'll become the being of light.' What do you think she meant?" Peter asked as he was concerned, Carol shrugged her shoulders but the expression on her face was giving a different answer.
The next day:
The Guard Condor motorcycle rode up the ramp and parked in the hanger bay, the riders removed their helmets to reveal Carol and Peter's faces. The pair were welcomed by the other team members from Carol's team.
"Peter Parker, I'm Captain Steve Rogers. Welcome to the Guardians." Steve welcomed as he held his hand out, Peter smiled then shook the captain's hand. "Let's introduce you to the others." Steve told the new recruit then they walked over to meet the others.
"Natasha Romanoff: tactics expert." Natasha introduced herself, she and Peter then shook hands and smiled.
"Hello. Anthony Stark, head engineer. But call me Tony." Tony introduced and Peter nodded, the pair shook hands and Tony smiled. "Strong grip. Impressive." Tony complimented and Peter smiled.
"Bruce Banner. It's nice to meet you, kid." Bruce spoke then they shook hands. "I heard alot about you from Danvers and read up about you: you're a great young man." Peter smiled then Steve placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Go with Carol, she'll take you to get suited into your uniform." Steve told the recruit and Peter nodded, Carol then took him to get suited while the others stood together and watched.
Corridor:
After being introduced to his room and getting his uniform, Peter walked out of his room now wearing his Guardian uniform: he was wearing black military trousers with a single white stripe on the side, a black t-shirt, black boots along with a red and white jacket.
"You look great, Pete." Carol complimented and Peter smiled as he tightened the strap holding his gun in the holster. "How's the Sparklence? Not afraid of using a gun?" Carol asked and Peter shook his head.
"I'm okay with it. Thanks for helping me with this, Carol." Peter thanked and Carol smiled. "What's with this holder though?" Peter asked as he looked and pointed at the holder on the left side of his belt.
"That's for Bruce's newest inventions: the Guard Keys," Carol answered and Peter looked confused. The pair started walking down the corridor towards the command centre. "The Guard Keys are black keys we use with the Sparklence and with that, we can use some monster powers to power up our blasts." Carol explained and Peter nodded. Carol reached into her pocket and handed a Guard Key to Peter.
"Are these mine?" Peter asked and Carol nodded, he looked at the design of the key then looked at the monster on the front.
"That key contains the power of the ancient Kaiju; Gomora. It's ability is shockwave so your blasts will be boosted." Carol explained as Peter looked amazed at the Guard Key. The pair then held beeping, they took out their comms and activated them.
"Danvers. Parker. We've got a mission; it's located in La Paz, Bolivia." Steve told them, the pair nodded at each other then ran off to the command centre to find out more about the mission.
La Paz, Bolivia:
When the team arrived at the location, they saw other members of Guardians doing soil checks, scans and examination of a mysterious pyramid in the middle of jungle. Peter stepped forward and looked closely at the mysterious structure, he was both impressed and confused.
"Captain, permission to have a closer look?" Peter asked as he looked at Steve, the Captain nodded and Peter saluted then he ran off to look. Carol then saluted at the Captain and ran off to catch up with Peter. Peter had arrived at the foot of the pyramid and started to look, he placed a hand on one of the stones then looked up.
"Peter, what is it?" Carol whispered as she could tell that Peter knew something. "Did you see this? In your dreams?" She asked quietly and Peter nodded.
"I think this is connected to the glowing giant from my dreams," Peter whispered and just as he was about to say more, the ground started shaking. Everyone looked up and saw a tall monster walking towards them, Peter took out his portable computer and looked through the database. "It's Red King!" Peter shouted and Carol nodded then looked up at Red King. Carol took out her Sparklence and the Guard Key she was carrying, she inserted the Key into the gun handle and aimed the blast at the monster.
"Boot Up! Fireball!" Carol pulled her trigger then fired a fireball attack based on the Dinosaur Alien; Zetton. Natasha then ran to the left and used a pile of rocks at cover, she aimed her gun at Red King and inserted a new Guard Key. "Boot Up! Pedanium!" Natasha then pulled the trigger and fired a powerful beam, based on the power of King Joe. Red King got angry then kicked several boulders towards the Guardians, one of the boulders hit Peter and threw him into the pyramid.
Inside the pyramid:
After a few seconds, Peter woke up and looked up to see that he was inside the pyramid. He slowly got up and took out his Sparklence in case of trouble, he slowly walked around the corner and saw something incredible: it was a giant stone figure and it was kneeling like it was protecting something.
"You arrived, Peter Parker." Peter turned around and pointed his gun at the figure, it was a young woman wearing a white dress with long sleeves and a hood covering her hair. "I'm Yuzare and that stone giant is Trigger. Ultraman Trigger: the giant of light." Peter looked at the figure but she lowered her hood to cover her face, Peter then looked behind and looked up at the stone figure.
"Ultraman… Trigger?" Peter asked then he held his head: he was seeing visions of him glowing purple then Trigger appearing in his place. "Are I the one meant to revive Trigger?" Peter asked and Yuzare nodded, she held her right hand out then Peter's Guard Key holder started glowing. Peter looked down at the Key holder then removed the glowing object, it changed into a purple Guard Key with an image of Trigger on it.
"You have taken the first step on protecting the ones you love, Peter Parker." Yuzare spoke as she disappeared. Peter looked at the key then looked at Trigger, he then nodded and activated the Key.
"Ultraman Trigger: Multi Type!" Peter slowly inserted the key into the handle of his Sparklence. "Boot Up! Zeperion!" Peter then watched as the gun barrel opened up to reveal a white gem the same shape as Trigger's chest gem. Peter took a deep breath then pulled the trigger, his body started to glow purple then he merged with Trigger: the giant to glow purple as the stone around it started to crack and it started to stand up!
