Marinette and Chloe saw Laura and her environmental group seemed to be arguing, Marinette walked up to them and asked "Trying to find a new project." Laura said "Yes, right now we're trying to figure ways to promote of up-cycling, altering and reperposing." Chloe said "Don't you mean recycling?" One of the members said "In a way, recycling take materials like plastic and paper to be broken down to make new things, when up-cycling you refashion it, for example..." takes out his phone and saw a ladder being used as a bookshelf and saying "this was a project my dad did after getting a newer ladder." Chloe said "Can people up-cycle to make cloths." Laura said "Yes." Chloe said "Well how about making a fashion show with things you up-cycle, you can even put it online and many people will watch." Everyone liked the idea, some offered if other students would model showing different styles, Marrinette was willing to help make the up-cycled fashions and Chloe was willing to help with hair and make-up
On the day the fashion show started Marinettes dorm-mates signed to be models and had a web cam on Laura wearing a green bandanna instead of her usual hat, also wearing a green maxi-dress said on it "Hello people on the internet this show features up-cycled,altered and re-purposed fashion, showing you don't have to throw away your cloths, you can re-fashion them, in fact this dress was my old bed sheets.
Out first is Sara had her hair out of the usual pigtails and instead it was down and held back with a headband with black cat ears. For make-up she wore lavender eye-shadow, pale pink blush and clear lip-gloss. She wore a denim mini skirt, lavender sleeveless shirt, and carrying a denim purse. Laura said "Sara's shirt had the sleeves removed and both her skirt and bag came from old jeans."
Next came Bella's hair was in her usual style. For make-up she had black eye-line, scarlet eye-shadow, and scarlet lipstick. She wore a black dress with lace sleeves. Laura said "For Bella's dress the designer added lace to a dress, simple but makes an elegant touch."
Next was Haley, who hair was in a braid, she didn't wear make-up. An d she wore a white cardigan, and a pair of bell-bottom jeans. Laura said "Haley's cardigan used to be a plain sweater and the jeans were skinny, but out designer altered both the sweater and the jeans.
Next was Roxie wearing a black shirt and denim cut-offs. Roxie stated before Laura "Died the shirt and turned a pair of old jeans into cut-offs.
Last was Felix wearing a black sweater-vest and jeans. Laura said "His sweater-vest was a sleeved sweater.
Afterword all the models lined up and Laura said "And now a hand of applause for the one in charge of hair and make-up, Chloe Boureois, and a round of applause for the designer Marrinette Dupain-Cheng.
After ending the video, and sending it Laura said "Hopefully at least one person will be inspired."
At College Francoise Dupont, Lila was noticing everyone outside her class dressed differently. She overhear the parasol girl, Aurore, saying "So after my parasol broke, I was ready to throw it out, but after that video, I was inspired to up-cycle it, and found a project so now I have a new tote bag." Someone said "But isn't that your parasol right there?" Aurore said "I see the confusion, this is a new parasol I recently got, I when looking I figured why not have a parasol that matches my new tote."
Lila was confused what video, whatever it was it wasn't just Aurore, many students seemed inspired and made new things. She heard a group of students wanting to see the video again and decided see see what this was about. It showed a fashion show of making old cloths new and when they showed the designer she was furious Marinette again, even when she isn't here shes a thorn at my side. She decided to see how many view it had and saw one thousand and rising.
