"Fucking hell." Gemma spat as she dropped down onto the couch in Olivia's living room.

Olivia was glad she had decided to send Noah off to school before breaking the news to Gemma, but the phone call with Jimmy still left a bad taste in her mouth and a gnawing feeling in her stomach. "We can avoid him for a couple days before we decide. He can't just expect us to drop everything to have lunch with him."

"He's pretty arrogant. He thinks the world revolves around him." Gemma said into the couch cushions. She turned over, staring up at the ceiling. "Do you think it's too late to join the witness protection program? I've already got a name picked out."

"You're not going anywhere." Elliot stated hovering over her, using the back of the couch to balance himself. "We can get Jimmy. You can start your life again with your parents here in New York."

Gemma huffed out a breath. "I don't know if that will ever happen."

Carisi moved behind the couch, looking down at her from behind Elliot. "I, for one, am going to do everything in my power to make sure that happens for you. We all just want you to be happy. Jimmy is going to be taken care of."

Olivia shooed the men away from the couch before sitting next to Gemma, pulling her up to a sitting position as well. "Baby, it isn't going to be easy, but we're going to catch him. We'll probably all be hurt in the process, and you will probably have to see Jimmy again before he's put in handcuffs. But, we are going to keep you as safe as we can." As much as she wanted to promise Gemma that Jimmy would never lay a hand on her again, her own experiences held back those words, and she knew she could promise them anyway. If she had learned anything from this case, it was that Jimmy was unpredictable. A passionate, unpredictable low-life who had an unrealistic obsession with her daughter. The likelihood of him touching Gemma again was high considering the circumstances, but she was going to try to stop it as much as she could, even if that meant sacrificing herself.

Something seemed to shift in Gemma, because the 'end of the world' phase was over. "We should call him this afternoon. Maybe set something up in the next few days. He'll be happier if we at least set something up. If we avoid him, it will only look suspicious."

"Anything else?" Olivia asked.

"He won't do the lunch unless we go to some place he owns." Gemma breathed.

Amanda looked away from the white board to turn to the rest of the team along with Elliot and Gemma. She had just run down everything they had collected on Jimmy - the audio of the rape, the murder victims that Gemma had known, the hospital visit reports on Gemma from his abuse of her. Everything was highlighted and bullet-pointed, ready to go to the DA. "We've got a solid case on him, but we can't charge him. The audio of the rape is the only solid evidence we have linking Jimmy to a crime, and even that is going to be ripped apart in court."

"I gave you all the names, the hospital reports. My statement is nearly ten pages long." Gemma explained.

Fin gazed over at her, craning his head from across the table. "Yeah, but the murders could have been done by someone hired by Jimmy. We don't have enough evidence to prove he actually did them. By the number of victims, usually we could make him the only connection, but these are people who stay within the same crowds. There are tons of other suspects that all had something in common with the victims."

"As for your hospital visits to the ER, the nurses did call the cops, but you never named who hurt you." Amanda sighed. She picked up a case file from the plethora of paperwork she had brought into the small meeting with her. "It looks like only one of your injuries was actually reported. We can get a hold of the officer who took your statement and let them know of the situation. We have a case of you against Jimmy, but we just don't have enough to take him down for his whole operation. I'm sure the money he makes from you and the other girls is filtered in through the businesses. He's got so many of them; the laundering could take years to investigate. Possibly longer."

Gemma dropped her head to her hand, her view of the board tilted. "So basically, you can only arrest him by naming me as the victim. He knows I'm the rat before he sees a court room."

"Essentially." Amanda said with a small nod. "Another person to give their own statement of what they've seen would help. If you know someone who actually was with Jimmy when he killed or gave the order to kill any of these people, it would make this case stronger. Right now, I don't think the DA would go for this."

"Unfortunately, I agree with Amanda on this." Fin relented. "We can arrest him for what he's done to Gemma, but with the history and what's on the tape-"

Gemma pinched the bridge of her nose, her eyes closing with frustration. "I look like a willing and guilty party, especially with my record. Every time I was arrested, Jimmy was there to try and talk the cops out of it and post my bail. It's not enough." She bit her lip, looking down at the table. "You need someone on the inside."

Elliot's eyes widened hearing the tone in his daughter's voice. "Don't you dare even suggest it."

"Put me in." Gemma demanded quietly.

"Not a chance." Olivia shook her head, sitting down next to Gemma. "We can get him another way."

Gemma met Olivia's eyes. "He's insistent on me moving in with him anyway. He won't suspect it. With you two as my parents, coming here to give you information won't look like I'm ratting on him. I'm sure he'll keep tabs on me, but he's going to know you're here."

Carisi shook his head as well, standing by the white board. "He's not afraid to hurt you, Gem. He doesn't care as long as he gets what he wants from you."

"I've been marked as his since I started this. Now, he's made me a partner of his. I won't be in the game." Gemma stated, reminding them of what Jimmy said over the bugged bracelet.

"Yes, that's true." Amanda nodded in agreement. "But, that also means you'll be around him, twenty-four seven, until we can arrest him on more charges." She glanced at the bug in a plastic evidence bag. "I don't think any of us could allow you to do that with good conscience." She shrugged her shoulders. "Is there anyone there who could talk to us? Someone you trust not to tell Jimmy?"

Gemma heaved out a breath. "Yeah, but he'll want immunity from any charges bouncing around Jimmy. Whatever he's done has been orders from Jimmy."

"The DA is coming by. Once we get your immunity deal set, we can talk to him about a deal for your friend." Fin explained before glancing around the table. "How can we get a hold of this guy?"

"You can't." Gemma stated before grabbing her phone. "He won't trust to come here unless I talk to him."
