Happy anniversary Sofia" Once Upon A Princess Alternate Ending!

As everyone is sleeping peacefully in their beds in the Ever Realm,

Princesses Madtila 14 year old and The First Born draught of Roland Winslow the 2nd lay in bed eyes closed as her nightmares chased her thoughts away a frown in place of a smile., the darkness, solitude. It kept replaying in her mind

King Roland and his children, Matilda, James, and Amber, watched their new family approach.

"Uh-oh," James smirked, as Sofia neared them. "Looks like someone's not gonna be the fairest in the land anymore."

Amber hid a scowl behind her fan. Matilda nudged her sister slightly as a sign to behave. Amber rolled her eyes but said nothing back.

"Amber, James, I trust you will do your best to make your new Sister feel Welcome." King Roland told his offspring.

"Of course, father," Amber said dully.

"Matilda," Roland added. "You will look after all of them."

Matilda smiled. "Of, course I will dad."

"Your majesty." Sofia said as She curtsied, then giggled lightly.

"King Roland the second," Miranda said warmly as she smiled as she walked up to her new husband.

"Queen Miranda," Roland replied just as warm, kissing his new wife's hand.

Hey there!" Sofia said to her new siblings.

"Good Morrow Sofia," James replied. "

"Great Morrow, Prince James!" Sofia smiled,

"Princess -Amber, Princess Matilda, I m so excited we're going to be sisters!", Sofia squealed

"Stepsisters." Amber corrected her. Standing behind Amber Matilda scowled at her sister's words.

Matilda then gently rubbed Sofia ' heads. "But loving sisters nonetheless."

"Amber, James, Matilda, I know there aren't many fairy tales about kind loving stepmothers", Miranda said as she approached her new stepchildren. "But I hope to change that". She handed them three small patches. "These are for you. I made them myself."

Sofia remembered how her mother was working late at night and surprisingly still full of energy in the morning.

"It's our family crest", James noticed.

"That's right, James", Miranda agreed. "Because that's what all of this is really about, becoming a new family".

"Sofia, welcome to the Family", King Roland smiled.

"All hail queen Miranda, Princess Sofia,!" Baileywick, the castle steward declared.

The crowd cheered as the new royal members smiled. At that moment, Cedric, the royal sorcerer, came out of the royal procession.

"Roje flora!" He chanted, pointing his wand to the sky. A burst of magic flew out, and it started to rain. The crowd gasped. However, the royal guard took out umbrellas over the royal family.

"Cedric, I said flowers, not showers", Roland told Cedric testily.

"Oh, excuse me Your Majesty", Cedric apologized. "I'm still breaking in my new wand". Sari stepped closer to Cedric and whispered, "Just take a deep breath Ced, and stop messing with your wand before something else happens."

"That's Cedric, our royal sorcerer," Roland told Sofia , "He comes from a long line of royal sorcerers, so we're stuck with him. The lady with brown hair next to him is his girlfriend and our other royal sorceress Sari. She too comes from a long line of royal sorcerers and is very gifted."

Clumsily, Cedric patted the back of his wand, sending out another magic burst that flew behind him, ricocheted off a door, and into the sky. The rain was then replaced as Black Meteor crush the family

as the Crowd Grasp

Matilde eyes shot open as the nightmare came to a close.

End Nightmare

No" she muttered. "Please don't do this" She jerked again, "No, please I need them, no, no, no" She woke up gasping for air, desperately looking around the room and couldn't see anyone. She was all alone all over again her breath quickened.

Was this still a nightmare or was everyone gone?

She saw it was dark out but couldn't wait until morning. She tumbled out of bed falling caught in the entrapment of the blankets that surrounded her. She braced herself as she hit the ground and quickly stumbled up and ran down the hall knocking on the first door. No answer, her heart started to race.

She continued to knock on all the guest room doors not thinking about their purpose until she came to Amber's room. She banged on the door and waited. She heard footsteps but was unsure if that was a good sign.

Amber opened the door and Matilde rushed into her arms.

"Matilde , are you okay?" Amber asked gently not wanting to scare her older sister away.

Matilde opened her mouth to speak but paused, closed her mouth, and gently shook her head. Her big, tear filled, blue eyes were as bright as sapphires and Amber's heart ached for the girl.

Frowning, Amber allowed Matdila to enter her room. After closing the door behind them and guiding Matilde to the bed, she watched as her oldest sister crumbled before her.

More tears began running down her soft pink cheeks. Without even thinking about what she was supposed to do, Amber quickly wrapped her arms around Matilde 's body that had began shaking violently in her arms.

Amber softly spoke "It has only been three days since Mom daddy Sofia and James and Mr Cedice was Kill" thanks to the Mator come down" Baileywick was Lucky still alive" . It's ok to still be scared, but you also need to remember that this is the third night that when you woke up my arms were waiting for you."

Three days of watching the terrified look on her older sister's face as she desperately tried to reach out for her New Sibling , before it was too late. Amber couldn't begin to imagine the thoughts running through Matilde s mind as she consoled her sister. Amber should have Listen" with there Aunt Tilly Rule the Kiddom in till Princesses Matilde was 21 year old" to be Queen'

"I-It was so horrible. I thought I- I was n- never going to see you again, I was s-so s-sca-scare-SCARED!"Matilde sobbed into her sister's shoulder choking out the last word.

Amber clutched her sister tighter, silently telling her she was safe.

"It's okay, Matilde I'm right here, " Amber soothed, gently running her fingers through her sister's long, curly gold locks.

"It's just that...every time I close my eyes... i see the Big Black Mator 's right there in front of me." Matilde explained slowly as if she were afraid to utter her inner thoughts. She was trying, ineffectively, failing to shallow her breathing.

"Mailtde, it's over now. You don't have anything to worry about," Amber said pulling, the two of them apart and giving her sister a gentle smile. "Hey, why don't you sleep with me for a bit? Just until you start to feel better, alright?" Amber offered kindly as she pulled the comforter back on her bed

Matilde nodded and gave her own broken smile as she curled beneath the warm, comforting covers beside her younger sister.

Amber held Matilde as she slowly grew tired. Speaking sweet nothings and soothingly shushing her, "Shh, you are ok. Everyone is safe."

Matilde uneasily fell back asleep under the watchful eyes of her sister. Being the Older sister wasn't going to help her right now because... it was the older sister who needed protecting.
