"Mama! Mama! Wake up!" the little quarter-elf said while poking her mother's cheeks.
"Chocorina, stop it, Let Mama rest for five (5) more minutes" The half-elf immediately replied while patting the head of the little silver-haired quarter-elf.
"Na-uh, you promise Daddy and I to go to the garden near Irlam village today on your free day, Hmph" the adorable girl puffing her cheeks as she said it to her mother.
"Okay, okay" Emilia replied as she started to get up, stretching her arms to the air accompanied by her yawn. Emilia opening her eyes immediately saw her adorable daughter and quickly lifted her daughter towards her.
"Mama, Hurry up! Dad is waiting downstairs!" Chocorina yelled while she was being cuddled by her mother.
"I know I know" Emilia replied as she finally set her daughter down.
"Tell your father that I will go get ready, Okay" Emilia requested to her little Chocorina.
With that, the little quarter-elf gave a beaming smile to her mother. Emilia received such great delight and warmth at the sight of her daughter.
"Okie Dokie! See you downstairs Mama" Chocorina replied with utter joy. The little elf scurried off downstairs filled with joy and energy.
"Okay, Time for me to get ready" Emilia thought out loud. Emilia finally got out of her bed with her very familiar night gown. She then made her way to the bathroom to go freshen herself up.
As soon as she made it to the bathroom, she immediately spotted a mirror and approached it. Emilia slightly in a daze, looked at herself in the mirror.
She smiled as she remembered her husband is waiting for her downstairs. It was when she touched her face, she noticed the ring on her left hand. Emilia remained in awe of the ring's beauty, no matter how many years she wore it. How simplistic the ring was, a ring made of wood shaped into a helix. It fits her ring finger perfectly without any discomfort. Emilia looked at it more closely and appreciated the ring's lacquer finish as it gleamed under the lights. It was not until Emilia looked at the centerpiece of the ring did it bring her warmth and a huge smile on her face. The amethyst stone placed in the middle continued to give out its subtle alluring glow, truly giving the ring its mystique.
After many months of negotiations with other countries, Emilia finally has a day off from her Queenly duties. Today was the day that she can finally spend more time with her husband and daughter.
Emilia was ecstatic to see her husband's face once again after his long one-week excursion with the knights at Kararagi.
With both hands of Emilia slapping her cheeks, she woke herself up as she would usually do to ready herself to start the day.
Remembering that her husband and daughter was waiting for her downstairs. She then hurried herself into the bathroom and finally took a bath.
After taking a bath, Emilia tried to pick a dress in her closet perfect for the occasion. Her eyes then gravitated to one specific dress, the dress she wore on their first date in the same garden in Irlam village.
"Yes, this dress is Per~fect." Emilia smiled as she took the dress out of the closet. Emilia then proceeded to dress herself while at the same time looking at the mirror as she fixed herself.
"I have to look most especially beautiful today" she said as she thought of her husband and daughter. She was more meticulous than usual and felt her heart race. Finally placing her flower hairpin, she was finally ready to head downstairs.
Emilia hurriedly head downstairs, excited to see her family and for what's to come. Approaching the main door, she briefly slowed her pace to properly fix herself before meeting them. Emilia placed her hand on the door handle and took one deep breath before finally opening the door. As soon as the door opened a certain knight and little quarter-elf took notice.
"Mama!" the little quarter-elf yelled while running to her mother.
"Chocorina!" Emilia said, receiving her daughter in her arms.
"You're late Mama" Chocorina pouted puffing her cheeks.
Emilia giggled at her daughter's reaction
"I am very sorry for being late. But Mama had to fix herself properly for Daddy and for you"
As soon as Emilia finished attending to her daughter. She then head on over to her knight, who for some reason had his back turned still, even when she arrived.
"Hey, is something wrong?" the worried half-elf asked her husband.
"A-ah N-nothing's wrong!" the knight replied while shaking.
"If nothing's wrong, then look at me. You are making me worried." Emilia said, getting more worried for her husband.
"Ah Fine" the knight finally succumbing to his wife's words. The knight slowly turned around to face his wife.
Emilia was excited to see her husband today, but that excitement turned to worry as her husband refused to look at her. After convincing her husband to turn around, she finally saw her husband's form. She saw his knight attire dawned with black and orange. She remained captivated by his form. Little by little her eyes moved from his feet up to his face. It was everything that Emilia wanted.

The half-elf's knight just sighed and pointed at their daughter. Emilia then looked at their daughter and saw the little mischievous smile of the quarter-elf.
"How do you like Daddy's new look Mama?"
Emilia placed her hand on her chin as she let out a tiny giggle.
"Chocorina, Ba~d girl. Why did you put clown makeup on your Daddy?"
"Ehehehehe… Because Daddy lost in our little game and I happened to have Auntie Ram's makeup, so I tried to make doodles on his face like the one's on Uncle Roswaal's face."
"So, Mama, how do you like my Masterpiece!" Chocorina said as she was eagerly awaiting her mother's reply.
"Ahahaha Well It does bring a smi~le on Mama's face, But Mama would like to see Daddy's actual face Chocorina"
"Hmph! Okay, But I did really do an amazing job right Mama?"
"Uh-huh, you did an Ama~zing job"
As soon as the mother and daughter finished their exchange. Emilia went over to her husband. Pulling out a handkerchief from her pocket.
"Subaru. As much as this makeup puts a smile on my face. I will be much happier seeing my husband's handsome face"
"Oh really?" Subaru blushed a little as his wife told him this as she was wiping off the makeup on his face.
"Rea~lly" the half-elf replied
After taking the makeup off, Emilia gently caressed her husband's face, cupping his cheeks with her right hand.
"There's my lovely husband"
"Well, you are looking stunning as always Emilia-tan."
"Well, you look very handsome as always, my love."
The last few words the half-elf let go bought a huge smile on her husband's face.
"Hearing that Emilia-tan makes me fall in love with you more with each passing day"
Emilia blushed at her husband's quick reply.
"Y-you Dunderhead"
"You don't want that?" Subaru asked her teasingly.
"O-of course, I do. You are alwa~ys like this. You make me worry then you will just tease me just like this."
"Well, I am sorry, my love. I will make up to you by making this another day to remember" Subaru said to his wife, taking her hand from his cheek to his chest.
"I trust you. I know you will."
"Good, good. Now, to start of this memorable day. I have to punish my Emilia-tan for being a bad girl" Subaru told Emilia while wagging his finger.
"W-what? I was a bad girl? How!?" Emilia replied surprisingly
"Well, you woke up very late. Even when I tried to wake you up, you kept on mumbling a few more minutes. It was only when Chocorina tried to wake you up, did you finally get up"
"O-oh Ahahaha… I am sor~ry about that" Emilia replied embarrassingly to her husband.
"Now, my Emilia-tan, I guess it is now time to serve your punishment"
"B-but you told me that I will enjoy this day!"
"And you will. Trust me." Subaru said, as he was inching closer and closer to his love.
"I told you, this will be a day to remember" Subaru told Emilia, now face to face with each other.
Emilia simply nodded to her knight's words. Choosing to believe in her knight's words, she closed her eyes and braced herself for the punishment that was about to come.
"Okay Emilia-tan, here is your punishment" Subaru told his love with a gentle voice. Subaru slowly placed his right arm around her waist while he gently placed his left hand behind Emilia's head.
"H-huh!? S-subaru!?" Emilia responded surprisingly at her Subaru's actions, making her open her eyes.
"This is your punishment, Emilia-tan" Subaru said to the blushing Emilia as he moved his face closer to hers.
"Mmphh ~" Emilia was caught off guard by the lips of her Subaru against hers. Emilia went wide-eyed for a moment.
Emilia could feel the softness of his lips against hers. She felt her heart racing and her body getting hotter. Subaru's mouth began to open and make Emilia's mouth open as well. Subaru's kiss started to get more passionate as he tried to invade her mouth with his tongue.

"Are you sure? I don't mi~nd Subaru, as long as it's you, and only you." Emilia remarked to her beloved knight in a very teasing tone.
Emilia started to lift her right leg and placed it alongside her knight's own leg. Emilia pulled her body closer to her knight, making sure he felt her entire body.
Subaru felt his heart race even more. His body stiffened due to the acts of his lovely wife. With it, another part of him was getting stiffer as well.

The knight simply pointed out in a direction.
Emilia giggling at her husband's attempts to get out of the situation, she obliged herself to look at the direction where her husband pointed.
"Uh...uh...uh" The half-elf muttered as she was finally broken out of her love drunk state.
"Mama, what were you doing?"
"Chocorina!" Emilia screamed in surprise.
Emilia realizing what she was doing and how she looked like at that moment, started to fix herself.
Emilia took off her arms that she snaked around the neck of her Subaru, and she started to push away from his body.
To Emilia's surprise, Subaru did not let go of his grip around her waist.
"S-Subaru!? Now is not the time!" Emilia responded angrily towards her Subaru
"Yes, Indeed Emilia-tan" Subaru said in a rather hush tone
"So let me go. Chocorina is watching us, she is still too young for this" Emilia pleaded in a lowered voice to her husband.
"I know…. But I cannot let her see me like this"
"Subaru, what do you mean?"
Subaru simply stared down, the point where their bodies are still making contact.
With that, Emilia felt that something was poking around her stomach,
"O-oh…" Emilia knew what the problem was, and she blushed a deep red upon her realization.
"I-I see…I will turn away from Chocorina okay, then I will go ahead and talk to her while you fix yourself okay" Emilia quickly told her husband her plan.
Subaru nodded.
Just like as she planned, Emilia turned around, then as soon as Subaru was out of view, Subaru immediately turned away from his daughter and tried to calm himself down.
Emilia headed right over to her little daughter and tried to explain to her what they were doing.
"Chocorina, Mama and Daddy was just playing a game okay"
"A game?"
"Y-yes" the half-elf nervously answered.
"Can I play too?"
"No!" the half-elf exclaimed to her daughter.
"Why not!? I want to play too" the little quarter-elf replied, pouting and puffing her cheeks
"W-well, Actually Chocorina, Mama was a ba~d girl. Daddy actually punished me"
"Daddy punished you?" The little quarter-elf got surprised and nervous upon her realization.
"Yes, He actually to~ok my breath away and made it harder for me to breath, that is why you saw me gas~ping for air"
"I-is that so?" the little quarter-elf asked worryingly.
"Wh-why would Daddy do that? I thought He loves Mama"
"He does, Chocorina, He does, but you know what Chocorina. Mama has a plan to get back at your Daddy, because he was such a bad boy for making you worry "
"You do?"
"Yes, and I need you later this evening okay"
"Y-you won't hurt Daddy too, right?"
"Of course not, my dear Chocorina, because unlike your Daddy, Mama would ne~ver resort to doing that kind of thing, but instead, Mama would like to scold Daddy for what he has done to me and making you worry"
"O-okay!"
"Okay Chocorina here is the plan…" Emilia told her plan to her daughter. With it, both Mother and daughter giggled for their plan later this evening.
As soon as they finished their planning and giggling, a well composed Subaru finally approached them.
"Are my two ladies ready to go to the garden today?"
The two elves both looked at each other, smiled, and nodded to the question of the knight.
Putting out both of his hands, each elf took one hand of the gracious knight.
"Then let us go, shall we" pulling them both towards him, he finally took the lead in their stroll to the garden in Irlam village.
The Natsuki family were now walking hand in hand, with Emilia and Subaru's daughter in the middle, holding one hand of each parent.
"This reminds of the first time we met, Emilia-tan" Subaru told Emilia as they stroll.
"Huh? What do you mean? Subaru" Emilia replied to her husband slightly confused, swinging her daughter's arm playfully.
"Well, we were strolling like this in the past, the first time we met at the Capital, with a child too in the middle Ehehehehe"
"Huh? Really? I don't remember doing that with you. When we first met, it was in the loot house remember?"
"O-oh right… Ahahahaha Silly me, I got it all mixed up Ahahahaha" Subaru chuckled at his statement.
"Mixed up? So, you mean to tell me that it did happen?" Emilia asked with more curiosity, and doubt started to set in the half-elf's mind.
"Um…Well...Ah...Let's just leave it at that"
"No, was it Rem you were with when that happened?" Emilia asked filled with worry.
She knew that the blue-haired Oni once held the heart of her husband. She realized her own feelings back then and fought her way back to claim what was rightfully hers. Emilia started to get worried over the fact that her husband still held Rem in his heart.
"No, No, No. It might just have been a dream I had with you; you see. Plus, you know that you are the one inside my heart right." Subaru expressed with conviction to his wife.
"A dream huh?" Emilia muttered silently, while her mind was engulfed of the images of all the times, she saw her husband sharing intimate moments with Rem. Emilia began to feel a heavy heart, plunging her to a deep sense of anxiety.
"Isn't that right Chocorina? You and Mama are Daddy's number one"
"Uh-huh Daddy really loves us, even though Daddy hurt Mama a while ago, making her lose her breath." The little quarter-elf answered but added a cheeky remark to tease her father.
"O-oh Chocorina! Y-you don't have to put it like that!"
"Well, it is true though right Daddy?"
"Well, it may be a punishment, but your Mama did like it"
"She liked it. How?" the little quarter elf getting more curious with her father's answer.
"W-well, hey look Chocorina, aren't those your friends over there" Subaru pointed to his daughter's friends just as they were finally about to enter the village.
"Yeah! I will go say Hi to them Daddy!" The little quarter elf quickly getting distracted, immediately let go of her parents' hands, and headed out to greet her friends.
"Whew, that was close. I don't need to drop a bombshell to her at this age"
With their daughter, finally with her friends, the knight finally looked at his wife who seemed a bit quiet.
"Hey, Emilia, Are you okay?" Subaru said as he put his hands to her shoulders and started shaking her. Through his shaking, Emilia snapped out of her deep anxiety.
"I-I'm okay" Emilia responded and placed her hand to his, trying to reassure her husband that she was okay, even though she was not.
"Hey, we are already passed that. Remember? I chose you. I love you and only you. You know Rem is just a friend to us. I mean Chocorina is the proof of our love. Right?"
She knew that. She always knew that, but the regret she felt when she could have had his heart from the start, forever remained a stain in her heart that could never be erased. Her heart suffered through so much by letting his heart fall to the embrace of another woman. A feeling that was so unbearable, she does not ever want to experience it again.
"I-I know but I just cannot lose you again!" Emilia replied, looking at her husband with her eyes getting wetter.
Subaru was shocked with his wife's statement. Subaru knew that he made a foolish mistake, and he was now paying for it.
"When you came back with Rem from Vollachia, you were head over heels for her. My heart felt excruciating pain every time I look at you, treating her the way you treat me back then. Even though we reunited back then, I felt you slipping further and further away from me. I never felt that way before. I couldn't eat properly, train, or even focus properly on what I had to do. I knew back then when she kissed you, it was as if a dark shadow engulfed my heart, I wanted to end everything. I felt so much anger and regret for not being able to answer your love sooner. It was back then did I finally let myself be selfish and try to steal you away from her. To make you look at me and only me. Because I love you, Because I want to be your number one, Because I want to be the one you spend the rest of your life with, Because I want to be your only one. I cannot bear a life without you. S-so Please Understand…" The half-elf poured her heart out to her husband leaving no regret in her words.
"I do, and I am sorry for my carelessness in my words"
Subaru felt shame for causing her such distress. Subaru never thought his simple mistake of recall would make his wife react to such an extent.
"Here, let me clear your doubts" Subaru stated as he put both of his hands on his wife's shoulders and then proceeded to give her a simple kiss, not full of passion but one filled with sincerity and love Emilia needed.

Parting their lips away from the kiss, Subaru looked at her eyes softly and smiled, giving Emilia the reassurance of his love. Emilia felt her heart calm, the gesture of her husband made the doubts in her heart disappear.
Letting the feeling sink in, Emilia properly got her composure.
"Hmph, You Dunderhead, don't mix your dreams with reality! Okay!?" Emilia responded while wiping off some of her unformed tears in her eyes.

"*sniff* And only look at me, Alright" Emilia responded in a very shy voice.
"I would never dream of having anybody else. You are the only one in my eyes and heart."
Emilia giggled at her husband's response.
"Good, Let's go get Chocorina so we can finally go to the garden." Emilia replied with a smile on her face.
The couple smiled and finally headed down to the village.
"Chocorina it is time to head to the garden" Emilia told her daughter.
"Mama, Can I just play a little while with my friends, pretty please?" the little quarter-elf responded with a puppy dog face.
"Na-uh, young lady W-"
"Pretty please?" the little quarter-elf now pleading to her father.
"How can I say no to that. Tell you what Chocorina, since Daddy was a bad boy to your Mama, I will try to make up to her right now so you can play with your friends. Is that okay?"
"Yes!" the little Chocorina jumped with happiness with her father's answer.
"But as soon as you are finished, I would like you to go to your Aunt Petra's house and wait for us there. Okay?"
"Okie Dokie!" Chocorina responded and quickly scurried off back to her friends.
"Hmph, Subaru, What about the garden?" Emilia inquired to her husband while pouting.
"Don't worry, this is all according to my plan" Subaru responded with a smirk on his face.
"R-really!? Y-you knew this would happen?" Emilia surprised at her husband's remark.
"Of course."
"Well, you really were the best at strategies, but I could not help but still be impressed every time you make a plan."
"Well, I always do plan to please, especially if it is for my Goddess, Emilia-tan"
Emilia giggled at her husband's reply.
"Well then, my love, what is your plan for today?"
"Well, I happened to know a small eatery here in the village, Believe it or not. I had Grandma Milde make that small eatery, solely to recreate my other worldly dishes, and so far, it has been a hit in Irlam village."
"Oh really!?" Emilia replied, visibly happy for the surprise of her husband.
"Uh-huh" Subaru responded with a smile and nodded.
Subaru led Emilia through the village, and with it they received many greetings and invitations from the people in the village.
"Aaahhh…This takes me back when we started first dating" Emilia muttered
"Well, you seem to be a lot closer to the people in the village, compared to back then"
"Well, it is because of you that I can be myself and it is because of you that I get to be surrounded by such wonderful people." Emilia said as she clung to her husband's arm as they walk through the village.
"Speaking of our first date, you wore that dress as well right in our first date?" Subaru said finally noticing his wife's attire.
Emilia felt so happy that her husband noticed her attire, and with it placed her Subaru's arm deeper between her breasts.
"Well, yes! I am gla~d that you noticed. It was qui~te nostalgic actually wearing this dress, it sort of feels like I am going back in time." Emilia replied placing her head along her husband's shoulder as they continue to walk together.

"I-I see. You definitely felt very stiff that time, I might say a bit bigger than usual actually" Emilia responded, muttering the last phrase which did not get pass through her husband.
"See! I am bigger at that time because of you!"
"Subaru! You dunderhead! You don't talk about this out loud!" Emilia replied, trying to lower her husband's voice.
"Okay, okay, you see that is only for you and nobody else"
Emilia's jaw was left wide open by what her Subaru had just said. Emilia's ears were red due to the embarrassment, as well as the fuming comical rage she was building towards her husband.
Subaru laughed at his wife for her reaction to what he just said, even though there was truth on everything he just said.

"Idiot, idiot. You Dunderhead, I hate you, I hate you"
"But you still love me, right? Ahahahaha"
"Hmph, I do but please do not push your teasing too far" Emilia crossed her arms as she said this to her husband.
"I know I know. Hey! We are finally here" Subaru responded and pointed out to the small shack.
The couple finally arrived at the shack.
"Emilia-sama and Subaru-sama, Welcome! It is quite an honor to grace us with your presence."
"Ahahahaha Don't need to be so tense, we just came here to get a quick bite" Subaru said as he held Emilia by the waist.
"Even if you say that Subaru-sama, not a lot of people can say that they had the Queen and her knight eat at their eatery"
"Ahahahaha Well then, we would like to sample your bestsellers to start as I am really trying to impress Emilia-tan today"
"Of course! Please take a seat here" The servant said to the loving couple as he led them to their table.
"This feels really cozy Subaru" Emilia said in delight as she loved the gentle atmosphere of the eatery.
"It seems like we are the only customers here today?" Emilia said as she looked around her. She could see the many vacant seats and round tables around them, as well as the empty bar beside them.
"Well, that's because the shack is supposed to be closed today. I just asked them for a favor since I want this day to be special for the two of us" Subaru said as he smiled and gently grabbed a hold of Emilia's hand on the table.
Emilia gave an endearing smile back at Subaru as she felt her heart race through Subaru's actions.
"He really makes everything special" Emilia thought as she felt so happy that she's spending this moment with her Subaru.
"Thank you, Subaru" Emilia said as she gently squeezed back at Subaru's hand.
"Anything for my Emilia-tan"
After the couple talked and enjoyed each other's company, the much-awaited food finally arrived.
"For our lovely Queen and Knight" the servant said as he placed the freshly cooked food on the table.
"Wo~w!" Emilia said as she saw the food laid out in front of them.

Having the couple properly unite with their daughter, they finally set out back to the mansion as it was getting late, but not before viewing a spectacular sunset to end the visit in the Garden.
The couple was joyous on their way home although Emilia noticed Subaru was trying to hide his discomfort.

Otto talked about securing a new trade, cutting travel time in half, benefitting the citizens of Lugunica. Garfiel talked about his missions with Subaru, where they fought huge monsters and very bizarre creatures, the likes no one had ever seen.
