Part 1: Shock Wave

In outer space near Jupiter something strange started to happen. One of the moons that orbited the giant gas planet had a tower on it. It had been inactive for a while. Without warning it started letting off colors of white, orange and red. Soon, it looked like a constant stream of shock waves.

The waves became bigger as the shock waves from the right side of the tower went towards the outer parts of the Milky Way and the waves from the left went to the center of the Milky Way.

The Crystal Gems were in the living room watching Steven play a video game he had recently gotten. They were all cheering him on when the screen started to bounce. Everyone looked confused as the screen bounced. The remote was sitting in front of the TV so no one had sat on it by accident.

The screen started to emit white, red and orange colors in that order in a repeated sequence. Then it stopped. Steven saved his game before the weird distortion had started again. He looked back at Pearl wondering if she had any idea what was going on but she looked as confused as everyone else.

Soren got up first to fix the TV. It was hard to tell what was wrong with it. He barely touched the button when it electrocuted him then sparks started flying everywhere. He stumbled backward and fell on his bottom blinking trying to shake away the weird feeling.

Everyone got up and searched the house to see what the problem was. The warp pad refused to work and Amethyst tried jumping on it to get it to activate. The Temple wouldn't open the door to let them into their rooms. Pearl scratched her head trying to figure out what might've happened.

Just as they were all planning to head outside, the Temple door opened up shaking the house. Everyone stopped what they were doing to see a bright orange light coming from no where. The warp pad began to glow an orange color. A weird sound went through the house before the orange laser blasts into the roof.

They managed to fix the hole in the roof . They all were stumped on how to enter the Temple and getting on the warp pad. They tried cleaning up when Blue Zircon hushed everyone down. They all got quiet when they heard the sound of a ship. They all hurried outside to see what was going on.

The ships they heard were the Diamonds. White Diamond, Yellow Diamond and Blue Diamond appeared from their ships with concerned looks on their faces. The Crystal Gems looked at each wondering what had happened and if they were there due to the strange light going on. They walked onto the beach shrinking in size enough to talk to them.

"Hello! We weren't expecting you so soon. Is everything ok?" White Pearl asked.

"We actually have a problem..." White Diamond said with a serious expression on her face.

"What's the problem," Pearl asked.

"There's an interference. Whatever it is, it's causing problems for our devices back at Homeworld."

"Were you having any problems?" Blue Diamond asked looking worried.

"Yea, we have," Onyx said.

"It's some weird orange light," Peridot said a serious look on her face, "I haven't been able to figure out what it is."

"Do you know what it is?" Pink Pearl asked.

Yellow Diamond nodded in response, "That's why we are here."

Pearl invited the Diamonds into their home. The three Diamonds sat on the couch to relax a little before they started talking more. The Crystal Gems were slightly on edge especially if the Diamonds showed up looking for help. White Diamond smiled at them and cleared her throat.

"One of our moon bases by Jupiter began to send out some kind of shock wave. We have no idea why it started or how. There had to be a gem or something far worse behind it," White Diamond said.

Yellow Pearl looked down at the floor with an unreadable expression. Pearl placed a hand on her shoulder trying to get her to smile.

"Why do you need our help though?" Pearl asked.

"There's a something strange going on. We haven't been able to go back there," Blue Diamond said softly, "The gem device has some kind of red dot on it and it prevents gems, including Diamonds from entering there. That includes Jupiter and it's moons."

"Did you make enemies?" Yellow Pearl asked.

White Diamond shook her head.

"I can't remember the last time we came across intelligent life that could do something like this," Yellow Diamond said.

"We were thinking that maybe the rarer the gem... they could get through somehow."

Blue Diamond smiled and reach out towards her old pearl, "The pearls can go, including Onyx and Jewel."

Everyone exchanged concerned looks.

"I think we will be fine," Pearl said, "I understand."

"Take my ship," Yellow Diamond said, "It has more offense mechanisms on it and you may need them."

Everyone gathered outside to tell them goodbye. Pearl waved to everyone and everyone was boarding the ship. Peridot ran up to Jewel and hugged him tight. She didn't want to let go.

"I want to go."

Jewel frowned and rubbed the back of her neck.

"If I fused with Peridot, would it keep her safe?" she asked.

"I believe so," Yellow Diamond said.

"Are you sure you want to go?" Pearl asked stepping back out.

Peridot nodded.

"Alright..."

Pearl smiled at the Diamonds then the rest of the Crystal Gems.

"Stay safe!"

Peridot jumped into Jewel's arms and a bright light appeared. Moldavite stood there stretching her arms and legs preparing for the trip.

"Bye everyone!" she called and boarded the ship.

The ship turned back on and fired into space leaving everyone thinking how they were going to fix this problem.
