Amethyst was with her two lovers, Pink Pearl and Soren in the warp stream. She looked at them both seeing them waiting patiently to get to their destination.
"So, why are we coming to this place again?" Amethyst asked breaking the silence between the three of them.
"There were reports by Pearl of a corruption lurking in that area and it seems to be covering a large area. Plus the powers we have will better aid this mission to get in."
"In?" Soren asked.
Amethyst arched an eyebrow like she didn't get how the three of them were the only ones who could get in.
Pink Pearl only smiled and said, "You'll see when we get there."
"Hm..."
"What is it Amethyst?" he asked.
"Why couldn't Pearl and the other pearls come along with you to this place?"
"Well for one, only three gems max can go in. Two, there's no other gem that knows that place better than me. Besides, what would be better than us going on a mission together?"
Amethyst smiled and nodded along with Soren who couldn't agree more.

Once they reached their destination, they found out it was a giant jungle. Soren and Amethyst stared in awe at the giant green trees towering over them. They made it towards the middle of a clearing with grass and rocks. Pink Pearl cracked her thin fingers and knelt down by the pile of rocks with a smile on her face.
She examined each rock carefully. She would throw a few here and there then keep a couple of them. This confused Soren and Amethyst a lot as they stood there watching her. She rechecked the few rocks kept then threw those too. Soren glanced at his purple lover hoping for an answer but she only shrugged.
"So um... what are you doing?" he asked.
"I am looking for a hole..." she said trailing off.
"For what?' Amethyst asked.
"I found it!" Pink Pearl said excitedly wiping dirt away.
She revealed solid stone with a hole in the middle. Pink Pearl stood up and summoned her spear before thrusting it into the hole she had been digging for. She began turning her pink spear like it was a giant key. The stone began to glow, revealing pink markings then the ground started to shake. The ground shook a little harder and an ancient tomb appeared.
"Wow," Soren and Amethyst said in awe.
Pink Pearl turned around and gave them a big, triumph smile.
"I guess I understand why you know the place."
She nodded.
"Pink Diamond led me here a few thousand years ago. Even after all this time, I still remembered how to open it. Let's go inside."
They nodded and followed right behind her. They walked closer to the door way.
"That only really covers why you had to come along," Amethyst said looking a the giant tomb, "Why only three of us?"
Once the three of them went inside, the door behind them slammed shut. Amethyst tried lifting the large marble door but it was no use. She looked back at Pink Pearl who didn't seemed bothered that it closed.
"Once it shuts, that's it. We can never open it back up."
"How do we get out when the mission is over then?"
"After we defeat the corruption in this place, we will reach the end with six rooms. We will have to go through them."
"That's doesn't seem so bad," Soren said.
The first room was filled with a mile pit filled with darkness below. It was separating them from the exit that needed to go through. Soren certainly didn't think it was going to be easy now. Amethyst looked up to see stalactites from the ceiling and she summoned her whip then another then another. They made it through without any problems but the next room was freezing.
The second room was covered in inches thick ice, icicles and a large pool of what looked like water. It was chemical mixture that would freeze anything including a gem to the point of shattering. Soren summoned his fire power and helped them to get through without freezing to the ground but next was the third room.
The third room had a giant boulder which they had to force themselves to run as fast as they could to avoid being flatten like a pancakes. The fourth room had faulty floor tiles making them run and jump for their lives. The fifth room seemed more tedious than challenging. It was filled with spikes coming out of the walls, floors and ceiling. They would pull back and thrust forward depending on what floor tile they stepped on.
It felt like a video game.
They finally made it to the last room. The three of them were laying on the ground tired and worn out from the amount of effort it took to get through each room. Once they managed to rest for a few minutes and they sat up for a few seconds before standing. They exchanged looks of relief in that brief moment.
"That's the last room the corruption was detected in," Pink Pearl said, pointing to the last room.
The other two looked more relaxed now knowing they would be out of that ancient tomb soon enough.
"If we make it out, we are celebrating with pizza," Amethyst said with a tired grin on her face.
They laughed before walking through the next door way to the last room.
Much to their surprise, the room was empty. The three of them looked confused wondering why there was nothing in that room. Amethyst looked the most upset.
"I don't want to go through those rooms again! Not the ones with the spikes and I want out now!" she cried nervously messing with her hair.
Suddenly, Amethyst shifted into a rhino and rammed the walls trying to find a way out scaring Pink Pearl and Soren. Normally nothing ever got to her like that so it was a shocking sight to see. Somehow through her panic, she sees the exit and charges at the wall but it let out a loud growl. She backed away returning to her normal self.
The corruption had camouflaged itself as the wall but once it started pulling it's body out, it looked like it was a giant eight legged spider. The upper body had a humanoid looking appearance and the arms were shaped like praying mantis claws and the head looked like a mosquito. Amethyst looked back at Soren and Pink Pearl who were just as stunned.
"Let's go!" Pink Pearl yelled bravely.
The three of them summoned their weapons and charged forward. They did everything to avoid being caught but Pink Pearl and Amethyst ended up getting caught up in it's sharp claws. Soren slid behind it in it's blind spot before charging in to attack. He cut off the arms with the sharp claws helping them get a better chance at defeating it.
The corruption poofed, dropping it's gem on the ground. Pink Pearl picked it up and bubbled it, sending it to the temple back at home. They walked through the last doorway which was their exit to the jungle. The trap door closed up and the tomb looked like the regular ground again. The three of them smiled happily, holding hands heading back to the warp to go home after the victory they just had.
