Hello readers, this is a remake chapter of my original concept, with some additional lore and stuff.

Hope you enjoy.

Cybertron.

A planet torn by two sides, the Autobots and Decepticons.

For many years, these factions fought over power, energy, and life itself.

Once a planet filled with advancement of technological and architectural welfare to a grim, dark, and corrupt spark, caused by the four cycles of war.

A war that causes great pain and suffering.

A war that would never end.

A war corrupting the once beautiful and metallic planet itself into an industrial land field.

No markets, no music, no homes. Just factories after to those that aren't, they become bases of operation or worst, prison camps.

Prison camps set up by the Decepticons. Where the ever ending torment continues.

The planet now serves as a graveyard to those who dare step on it, soon to meet a grizzly end by the Decepticons hands.

On the battlefield surface, a dark tower stood.

A tower hidden above from the light explosions and the blazin rains of lasers.

The tower is a thin, triangular shape.

There's no windows, no turrets, no balcony, it is merely a dark tower.

Only the giant, purple Decepticon remains there, facing the larger war itself, above the below lights that emitted from the hellish, industrial factories.

Inside there is a room. A room that is pitch dark, only being lit by a small light from the sparks of electricity coming from the wires.

The wires were everywhere. They were above, sometimes on the ground, and even on the walls. They tangle on one another, curling together, and all connected to many of the machines.

Machines produce sounds. Clanking and strolling, puffing the electrical bolts and steam.

Ranging from generators to abandoned inventions, pile up in the corner.

And it is not just the wires that cover half of the room.

There were pipes, tubes, and lots of engines. Generators attach every part of the interior, including the panels, the screens, and even the main elevator, located in the center.

Sparks continue to flow through everything. Being the only light source in this huge, cramp, and pure dark room.

Despite that, the only other light that shone into the room were huge screens that scattered around it.

Screens that serve different types of purposes. One can serve as a security cam, another can serve as a knowledge given.

They were blocky, rectangular panels serving as tables and controllers to the room.

It seems that this room serves a laboratory bay, for which is being used now by a figure attached on a metal chair, with machines and wheels on it.

This figure appears to be an old man, wearing nothing but mechanical and cybernetic attachment on his torso, his legs, his left arm and half of his face.

It seems as though he went through quite a change from a surgery.

A surgery no doubt was forced upon him, indicating his mad look.

Using the screen in front of him and using the panels, he begins to write down blueprints.

The screen is half covered with images, showing what appears to be a little girl with red hair. There were dozens of them, plaster every on the screen, as if this man seemingly spy on her.

As for what the blue prints are all about, it is uncertain.

But what is known is his desire for vengeance.

Vengeance against those who destroy what's left of him. Those who ruin. Those who turn him into a freak.

Indeed, his name Dr. Arkeville was a name hated by his own human kind. Even his supposed allies with the Decepticons hated him, and only used him as a tool for their cause.

Despite his goal being revenge, he has a second one.

One that is quite ambitious to his own self. The ruling of Earth.

"Foolish Decepticons", He said to himself, "They believe I am a fool to trust them. And I am just a slave to their cause. Blah, no matter. Once I finish typing these blueprints down and storing it safe and secret away from my "allies" I will finally get my payback on these morons for turning me into…a…a…. Freak!"

He refused to call himself a freak but he had no choice. It didn't remember as he remembered it.

He laughs at his own idea.

Then his attention turned to the images, saying to them in a creepy fashion, "Soon you will be participating in my grand plan. As I sit here and watch as they continue with their pointless war, I however kept a keen eye on you, young lady. At any time, I will kidnap you and get the sample I need".

Suddenly, he heard a door sliding open.

He turned and saw him. A Decepticon in the door, with his slender body and one eye attached to his entire head.

Fearful of many, Arkeville quickly switches the screen to show the battle on the surface near the base.

He begins to greet this Decepticon, looking up at him with a smile as he passes by him, "Ah, mighty Shockwave. How pleasant to see you again".

Shockwave ignores him, as he heads to the back, where another screen and panel is set up.

Arkeville, feeling nervous, continued, "I was just...ummm….merely overlooking our number of forces. As you can see, it seems our men have been doubling their forces, ever since new energons started popping up in other solar systems".

This news didn't peak Shockwave interest enough, as he continued to look up at the screen, typing and moving both his hands on the panel.

As for the screen, it is emitting a blue light, showing what appear to be graphs and percentage.

Arkville continued once more, this time asking, "Say, Shockwave. May I ask you what are you doing? If you don't mind replying, all mighty Shockwave".

After a long moment of silence, Shockwave finally replied, going straight to the point, "I'm checking for any certain activity going on in this area. My source comes from the amount of low energy we are receiving from the computers alone"

"Low energy?" He asked, in a tilting head manner, "What do you mean by that?

"I discovered several viruses on the computer", He explained, "Someone has been hacking into our data and seems to be stealing exclusive information about several Autobots bases".

"You believe an Autobot may have done this?"

"Highly likely", He said, "However, there is a possibility that someone in our rank may have secretly hacked our main file".

"What makes you think that?"

"The hacking seems...efficient. Swiftly and leaving no evidence. Autobots' hackings are rough, mainly due to some lacking any criminal background, but the hacking here seems similar to those who had practice. As if they know much about Decepticons tactics. I conducted some check up on previous hacks, and I conclude it must've been one of our ranks".

"I see", He then asked, looking down. Showing a sense of urgency, sensing the need to try to continue his plan faster, "What do you propose you do about this?"

"I'll conduct an investigation of this by interviewing each member of the Decepticons", Shockwave told him, "In the meantime, the lab bay is going to remain closed until we reach the bottom of this".

"Yes, sounds like a good idea, Shockwave", Arkeville said, as glance down, thinking to himself, "Drat! My plans have been compromised. I got to perform my plan quickly, no matter what. I need to get a small sample of DNA, and I know just where to get it from".

The night has arrived on Earth.

The sky was dark blue, there were stars scattered up in space, and the moon watched down with a glow and purity of its appearance

On a dirt, clear road, a yellow vehicle stroll through the vast landscape of red sand.

It was cold. The sand was flat. The mountains remained still and there was no sight of snakes, lizards, or even a tiny tick of ants.

Only the lights of red and blue, white emitted from the car alone made the experience a bit comfortable.

Comfortable for a little girl, sitting in the front seat and having a bored, tired expression.

She looked out the window, with her hand pressed on her cheek and her elbow near the window.

She sighs, as the vehicle spoke to her.

A vehicle being disguised as one.

A vehicle who is known as Bumblebee, and is part of the Autobots.

"Man, that convention was so packed", Bumblebee remarked, after leaving from what could be a Autobot convention, "Glad we managed to get out there quickly. I didn't think I would have so many fans".

"Honestly, if you ask me", Sari said, "We should've stayed home today".

"Yeah, you're right", Bumblebee replied, "Although, at least it's better than staying with Grimlock, that's for sure".

"Yeah", She said, as she stretched her arm out and lay on the chair, with the chair leaning in the background for her to look up.

Remaining the same bored expression, as always,

Both Bumblebee and Sari remain silent, with the occasional radio music playing.

A music that is calm, soothing, and has a techno feel to it.

Ever since the Autobots arrived, she always felt alone.

Not among her Autobots pal or her father, but mainly her own life.

She felt as if she had no brother, no sister, no human friends that are the same age as her, just...pure loneliness.

Sure, she always loves her new friends, especially Bumblebee and another transformer, Bulkhead.

Not to mention, her father as well.

However, she still remains...pale. She even wonders if there are others similar to her. She gets the feeling she too is a transformer, based on the fact she kept hanging out with them. She kept helping and supporting them.

She even has a key connected to the AllSpark.

Regardless, she kept shrugging it off most of the time.

But this time, she can't.

She decided to bring this up to Bumblebee, asking, "Hey Bumblebee? I have a question".

"Yeah, what's up?"

"Do you...ever consider me as your little sister?"

"Uhhh...what?"

"You know, someone being close to you, has a close connection. Like siblings".

"Ummm, I'm not sure what you mean by that".

Sari, realizing he wouldn't get much about Earth's ways of life and meaning, sighs, "Nevermind".

Just then, an explosion erupted in front of the road, causing Bumblebee to steer and stop with Sari being slammed in the wheel.

"Ow! What the heck, Bumblebee?" Sari exclaimed, rubbing her head.

"Sorry".

Startled, they pause at the flaming sight, showing no sign of a crate or an object being hidden in the center of the burning orange and red.

"Phew, that was a close one", Bumblebee remarked, "We could've almost been roasted".

"Yeah, you got that right", Sari said, looking at the sight.

Before she could ask an important question to this strange, unpredictable event a quiver is felt.

This caused Sari to fall back on her seat, "Hey! Bumblebee! Wha-what just happened?!"

"I don't know", Bumblebee replied, then he felt a restriction of movement.

Only his wheels can move but the rest cannot, "I..I can't move. I'm frozen!"

"What?!"

Just when the moment of perplexity comes in, a laughter can be heard from their right.

Near the boulder reveal a shadowing figure.

Coming out from the shadow is Dr. Arkeville, which Bumblebee and Sari gasp.

Recognizing who this man is.

A man who betrayed humanity and worked for the Decepticon to take over the world.

With a cost, that is.

He stood there, still attached in his moving seat.

He is holding a ray gun, which seems to freeze Bumblebee, with Sari trapped inside the car.

"Hello, recognize me, my young fellow friends?" He asked, tauntly.

"Doctor Arkeville!" Sari exclaimed.

"Yes, I am still functionable as you can see", He said, moving toward them, "Regardless of my loss of feelings, I still maintain my own mind, child".

"What do you want?" Bumblebee asked, still attempting to escape from his frozen state.

"Simple, the girl", Dr. Arkeville replied, stopping where he's close enough to see Sari, "I need her for a DNA sample. Once I gain her sample, I'll free her. Depending if I'm in a good mood, that is".

"Sorry, but you're not taking Sari away from me", Bumblebee replied, standing on ground to protect her.

Even Sari seems defensive, despite not knowing what his intention is, "Yeah, whatever you're up to, I'm not gonna allow you to take me that easily".

"Aha! Oh really now? you fools!" Arkeville said, then proceeded to pull out a device with an antenna on it and one red button.

He pressed it, causing Sari to disappear in a static effect.

Confused and sartle, she was now outside, with her right arm being grabbed by Arkeville, who laughed devilishly.

"Sari!" Bumblebee tried to transform but it was too late.

The two of them disappear in the same static effect.

Although it allows Bumblebee to transform to his Cybertronian form, Arkeville laughs at his defeat and disappears out of sight, only leaving the spark key which fall on the ground.

Then being picked up by Bumblebee

"Oh no, Sari! I gotta contact Optimus about this, fast!"

He wasted no time to save his friend.

Transformed into his alt mode and drove off.

Back on Cybertron.

Sari is strap on a cold, metal operation table.

A light shines onto her face.

She struggles to move her hands and legs, the remaining strap on the table.

Sari tried to remain calm, telling herself, "It's going to be okay, Sari. You've been in this type of situation before, you can still figure a way out".

Revealing from the shadow on the right side of her is Doctor Arkeville, moving to her with a sharp syringe.

His monocle illuminated with a light blue. His grin reaches a minimum level, and his eye is widen, feeling the excitement of conducting his operation.

"Do not try to struggle, little girl", Arkeville said, "I will not harm you. If you dare to provoke further, I'll make sure your pain will be slow and deadly".

"My friends are gonna come here and break your optical! You'll see!" Sari states, still clenching on some hope that her friends will arrive sooner or later.

This only amuse him, making him laugh, "You foolish girl. Even if they came to rescue you, my plan will still proceed".

"What are you planning?"

"You see, little girl. I have a brilliant plan to get back on my superiorities and continue my plan on world domination".

"I thought those superiorities were you friends?"

"Friends? What makes you assume that?"

Sari shrugged, having no idea.

He continued, "As I was saying, my plan is quite unethical but at the same time, logical. I have been watching you, observing, and noted down some traits that could link to something I need".

"What?"

"Your body! Your spark, your soul. You have something inside that piques my interest, little girl. As such, I plan out a blueprint and manage to write down everything about you, culminating into an idea. An idea that will surely help me succeed in taking down these Cybertronian fools!"

Sari has no idea what he's speaking of.

"Sorry, love to say fools sometimes", He said, "It kinda…decreased my stress a little. You know, being a slave to them and all that".

She felt more unease by him, thinking he's spurring out nonsense. She thinks he's beginning to go insane, thinking an ordinary human like her would have some kind of power source inside her.

"Whatever you're doing, it's not going to work, you madman!"

"It will work! You'll see!" He shouted, shoving his syringe to her arm.

A pinch is felt, with Sari feeling some pain but not a whole lot. She squeal, but not entirely.

As the blood was being drawn, Arkeville was smirking once the bottle was finished filling.

Taking the needle out, he headed around the table and to the panels.

There he put the needle inside a tube, which descended down once he pushed a button.

Soon the screen begins to flicker more and more data, showing numbers, graphs, and the inside of the particules.

Dr. Arkeville hastley typed until finally he stopped, saying to himself, "Ah, finally. It has been completed".

"What completed?" Sari asked, barely looking directly at him, due to her restraint.

"My sample. I finally gathered enough to create a perfect child! Soon he'll possess the same energy as you, only with a few modifications I added in".

He turned around, moving to her and telling her, "I'm afraid your usefulness has come to an end. I appreciate your help".

Then he pulled out a hand laser gun and pointed at her face, "But now I must get rid of you".

Afraid, she asked him, trying to keep him distracted while she tried to find a way out, even if her circumstances were dire, "What exactly are you creating?"

"Let's just say…..your new...brother".

But before he could pull the trigger, a shot was fired at his hand.

The gun flung out, as Arkeville grabbed his hand as a way to ease the pain.

He squeals a little until hearing a recognizable voice that shivers his body.

"Hello Arkeville".

He turned to see him at the entrance door.

Shockwave, standing there with his blaster cannon, as he approaches him slowly.

Sari, knowing both trouble and a chance, tries attempting to squirm her way out, as Doctor Arkeville is distracted.

"Shockwave! I..I thought you were going out to investigate?" He asked, stuttering and backing away.

"I am", Shockwave replied, still approaching him, "And I have been observing you through my hidden cameras all over the base, and I seem to overheard everything on what you've been doing".

"You were?!" He asked, feeling dumbfounded and flabbergasted he wasn't smart enough to believe hidden cameras would've been placed everywhere in this room.

"Yes, I was".

This put Arkeville in a tight spot. He didn't want to die, not wanting to live to see his creation to get back on those who turn him into a freak.

He tried to make excuses, saying, "Shockwave, I...It is not what it looks like. I was merely doing some interrogetation to the little girl. Those comments about me...heheheh….backtabbing you are just….uhhh.."

"Silence! There is no need to make up excuses", Shockwave said to him, stopping right in front of him as he was pushed behind the panel.

Nowhere to escape or reason with.

"I just have enough with you, fleshling. It's time your usefulness has expire".

"Wait! Don't you think Megatron should know about this!" He asked, panicking. With his hands out, gesturing to him to be spare, "He's the one that indirectly hired me!"

"True but he ordered me to exterminate you, if you attempted to conspire against us".

As they were talking to each other, Sari managed to slip her arms out and her legs, making her free from the restraint.

She then hops down, hiding under the table and watching the scene unfolding, all the while remaining cautious and thinking of a way out, or a way to contact her Autobots friends, if they are going to come.

"Please! I beg of you!" Arkeville begged, clenching his hands together, "I've been your servant for several years. Don't you think I deserve to...to be set free and be spare, among your ranks".

"You were never among our ranks, Doctor. You were merely an experiment".

"Experiment?!" This caught the Doctor off guard, as he felt offended and confused.

He knew the meaning but he didn't know a whole lot.

"Yes, an experiment. To see if a human fleshling is worthy to be a Decepticon. Many of us were…considering it. Unfortunately, it seems our hypothesis didn't seem to go down sufficiently. Right here and right now".

"So you were using me…..as a tool after all!"

"Why surprise, doctor? It was obvious at the start".

"You..you monsters!" He pointed, "And to think I felt worthy to join your cause!"

"You weren't the only one, doctor. Another foolish flesh abomination attempted to join us by hiding under one of our dead ranks. Foolish as he was, he didn't predict that Megatron would use him as a lab rat, what you humans call it".

Back to Sari, she looked around until seeing a vent across her.

Feeling the need to hide in a more secure place, she decided to take a chance and hide until the Autobots could arrive, not knowing if they would.

"Now that I have finished talking, it is time for you to shut down", Shockwave said, as his cannon is now aiming at the doctor, readying the blast emitting from it.

Doctor Arkeville, try as he could, cannot escape from his demise.

Just when his sight is going to be vaporized any soon, he notices something in the distance.

Sari running toward the vent.

Doctor Arkeville quickly tries to get his attention off by pointing at her, "Shockwave! Look! The subject is escaping!"

Shockwave turned and saw her, "What?!"

He aims and fires.

It missed, only shooting at the ground in front of her.

She stops and startled back, as she turns around to see Shockwave still aiming his weapon at her.

"Do not progress any further, fleshling!" Shockwave warn her.

Doctor Arkeville attempted to escape to the main space bridge located only further away. The entrance to it was farther behind but he didnt care. He needed to escape. He didn't care if his work was going to be abandoned. His own mind is more important.

Shockwave turned to see him and shot a laser at him.

It only hit the left tilt of his chair, however it caused him to fall on the ground, with electricity sparking out from the open wound.

"Try to escape, did ya?" Shockwave asked, mockingly, "Sooner or later, your entire body will be turned into dust, and what's left of you will be nonexistent forever".

Sari has no idea what to do. She remained frozen there as she saw Arkeville still alive but still on the ground, unable to get up or move to the entrance further.

Suddenly, they heard a crash. And by looking above, Optimus Prime falls into the scene.

Joined with him is Bumblebee.

This relieved Sari, very grateful to see them, "Bumblebee! Optimus!"

"Why am I not surprised", Shockwave said, looking at them as Optimus is seen pointing his laser gun at him, "I knew you would've come to rescue your human pet".

Optimus ignores his comment, telling Bumblebee, "Bumblebee, get Sari out of here. I'll handle this".

"Right!" Bumblebee replied.

"No one is escaping here alive!" Shockwave begin to fire at them.

Laser shots were blazing from each side. Explosions were triggered, sending every part out in a blaze.

Bumblebee quickly snatched Sari, transformed into his vehicle mode, and drove out through the exit.

Optimus Prime aims up in the ceiling, shooting it, and causing ruble to fall onto Shockwave who didn't have time to react.

Optimus then transforms into his vehicle mode and drives off.

As they drove out through an empty hallway, Sari asked Bumblebee, "Phew, I almost got fry back there. How did you and Optimus get here?"

"We hack through one of their Space Bridge", Bumblebee replied, "It wasn't easy but we managed to get it to work, despite our slow effort. Sorry about that".

"It ok", Sari replied, "Just make sure we both get out of here alive, okay?"

"Got it! There's the Space Bridge!"

Inside the space bridge room, a small Decepticon is seen swiping the floor with a metal broom.

He seemed disgruntled about his duty. Swiping the entire room that didn't need to be swiped.

As for the room itself, it was massive.

In the center is the space bridge itself, and on the further left side to it is the panel.

Unlike the lab, this room seems to have more space, with only the ceiling being stuffed with everything that is hanging up there like tubes, wires, and cylinders.

He is seen swiping near the main front door.

"Stupid Starscream", He said to himself, "Putting me to do cleaning duty. Why should I listen to him? I only listen to Soundwave, not that pathetic, whiny wimp. Then again, Soundwave didn't do anything and watched. Man, this stinks".

He then sighs to himself, "Wish I do my own thing, instead of being ordered around".

Just then, the door behind him slid open.

Bumblebee and Optimus Prime ram straight at him.

After the small Decepticon fell back on the ground, Bumblebee replied, "Sorry Rumble! No hard feelings!"

As Bumblebee rides into the space bridge, Optimus quickly transforms and presses a few things on it.

He then walks onto the platform, as the space bridge begins to function.

Before they disappear out of sight, Optimus shoots the panel, preventing any Decepticons to follow them or track them down as they disappear out of sight.

Back in the lab at the pile of rubles from the aftermath of the short live battle, an arm rises from it.

Soon the entire body of Shockwave slowly rose from the pile.

Little scuffs here and there but not too severe. He still functions. His only thoughts were to get to Optimus and Bumblebee before they escape.

However as soon as he moved out of the pile of rubles, the same small Decepticon entered the scene.

Panicking and waving his hands in the air. The Decepticon informed him, "Shockwave! Shockwave! I saw a couple of Autobots!"

"Where are they, Rumble?"

"They...seem to have left through the space bridge, Shockwave", He replied, "I'm...not sure we could fix the space bridge in time to regain their coordinates".

This disappointed Shockwave but not to an extent.

Instead, he replies to him by looking down at Doctor Arkeville's body, "Forget it then. Make sure to dispose of this body at once. In the meantime, I must repair everything in the lab".

"Wait, you want me to dispose of an organic?" He asked, feeling a bit disgusted in carrying the body of an organism and disposing of it.

"Is there a problem?" Shockwave asked, menacingly. With his one, red eyes glowing.

Indicating that Rumble should do his duty without question.

"Uhhh...no, not at all".

"Then get going".

Rumble slowly approaches the body of Arkeville. Acting very cautious and nervous about it.

He courage up a little, and carry the body. Moving to the door slowly and feeling as if he's going to gag, "I prefer swiping the floor than this".

After Rumble left, Shockwave looked around to see what needs to be repaired.

The incident quickly disappeared from his own mind. He didn't seem bothered to report this to his leader, only the part of Arkeville betrayal as he felt it would be a waste of time to inform about Autobots saving their pet.

While he kept looking around, something caught his interest. The computer in which Arkeville works.

The one that is still active and undamage.

Shockwave heads to the computer and looks at the screen. He doesn't know why but something about the data and information input of it seem to pique his interest.

He begins to push some buttons, wondering what Arkeville was attempting to do, and he discovers that the DNA is still there.

Despite the doctor's failed attempt to get revenge, these data, information, and samples seem intriguing enough to not be ditched all together.

"Hmm, intriguing", Shockwave said, remarking on it, "So this is what the doctor was working on then".

He wondered if it would be sensible to continue this.

Continue what the doctor left.

But to Shockwave's mind, he knew the experiment might not work, even if it does seem interesting. However, he felt something else. Something he couldn't leave alone.

He wanted to know more, and because his mind wouldn't let something go he decided to continue where the scientist left off.

Creating a new weapon for the Decepticon cause.
