Hearing her voice again caused him to snap out of his thoughts.
Her gaze fell on his arm, asking if he was alright.
With a blink or two, he glanced at his arm, having almost forgotten about it.
A few light pink spots could be seen on his bandages.
He moved his arm closer to his side and reassured her that he was fine.
A thoughtful look was on her face, then she offered to help him with his wound.
His eyes widened a fraction, surprised by her offer.
But, as he looked at her, he found that he couldn't say no.
