Author's note: The story for this fan fiction is taken from the scraped "Alien Cat" story line that would have been the plot of the third Spongebob movie. This plot was scraped for being too far fetched, even for Spongebob. I have also taken stuff away from and added stuff to the story. End of the author's note.

"My son, it is with great pleasure that I make you the new king of snail world!" Gary the second said in snail language. On the futuristic world of snails, the new king, Gary the third, has just been crowned. All the snails cheered. "Now, as my first act as king, I plan to donate all available resources to our space exploration!" Gary the third said in snail.

Meanwhile in space, the snail shaped star ship Explorer was exploring the only sector of space not explored by the snails. "Gemini, what do you think we will find out here?" Apollo asked. "I don't know. Mercury, what do you think we will find?" Gemini asked. "I think we'll find a planet made of ice cream." Mercury said. Gemini and Apollo would have laughed at Mercury if the space ship had not exploded. "Is there anything left of the ship?" a giant god like being named Galcatacus said. "Yes. It looks like a hard drive." a cat in a mechanical suit that looked like a big cat said. "Good." Galcatacus said. "It may have a map inside that will lead us to a new place to conquer."

"Gary the third! Gary the third!" the purple shelled snail maid shouted. "What is it? Did the vending machine break again?" Gary the third asked. "No. We are being invaded by aliens!" the maid responded "What?" Gary the third said to himself. Gary the third followed the maid to the metal castle's balcony, and saw a horrific sight. A giant creature was smashing everything and weird creatures that looked just like the giant one were using claws hurt the snails! "Fear me, for I am Galcatacus, the conqueror!" the giant creature shouted.

"Gary the third!" Gary the third's mom, Sara, and dad, Gary the second, shouted. "You must get to one of the pods my son!" Gary the thirds mom said. "But…" Gary the third tried to say. "No buts! Robot, take him to the pod that will send him to Earth and a lonely kid." Gary the third's mom ordered the robot. "Mom, what about you and dad?" Gary the third asked. "We will take care of Galcatacus." Gary the third's dad said.

"What is this?" Galcatacus asked himself, when he saw a long, snail shaped object approaching him. It was Gary the third's mom and dad in their space ship. The ship crashed into Galcatacus, causing a massive explosion. "Did you think we got him?" Gary the third's dad asked Gary the third's mom, as they parachuted down from the explosion. "I hope so." Gary the third's mom replied.

"Our leader is dead! Evacuate!" one of the cats said. Soon, all of the cats were flying away from snail world in their ships, but they left a surprise on snail world. It was a bomb.

"All the aliens are leaving! Good." Gary the second said. Gary was about to turn auto pilot on on the small, round pod, when all of a sudden snail world exploded and flung Gary the third deep into space. "What… Noooooooooooooo!" Gary the second yelled.

On Earth, a young sponge named Spongebob was sitting on a log and crying. "No one here at camp coral wants to be my friend, whaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" he cried. Spongebob was about to leave when he heard a loud splash. He turned around to see a large wave headed toward him. Splash! It soaked him, but he absorbed the water, and saw a figure coming out of the water. It was Gary the third. "Hi there little snail. Did you make that splash?" Spongebob asked. Gary the third shook his head yes, and thought, "Oh, yeah, I remember this planet now. Snails have come here and let themselves be tamed to explore this planet with out worry." "My name is Spongebob. Will you be my friend?" Spongebob asked. "This must be the lonely kid mom was talking about. I guess I will be his friend to make him less lonely." Gary the second shook his head yes to answer Spongebob's question. "Thank you!" Spongebob said. "I don't have many friends. What is your name? Is it Gary?" Gary the second shook his head yes again. "Gary, I think this is the star of a butiful friendship!" Spongebob said.
