First off, many thanks to those who reviewed this fic, I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here the current story arc picks up where the last chapter left, as the summer festival is gearing up, and Natsumi is making preparations that would involve Naegi…

Ch. 48: Natsu matsuri no tōrai
At the classroom, Nanami is proposing a group activity which they would do at the summer festival, where they would light candles, lanterns and the such, which Sonia is excited as this would be her first time attending such a seasonal event as she never experienced it at Novoselic due to her duties as the princess, and now this would be her chance to experience it.
Koizumi is also looking forward to it as she invited Sato to attend and all is set, and as the rest are listening intently, you can see Fuyuhiko looking worried, and Pekoyama noticed it and whispered to him, urging him to stop worrying, reasoning that Naegi does not have it in him to violate Natsumi, which he is still unsure if the Luckster would really keep his word in not violating Natsumi.
"Master…"
"…"
"Please calm down…"
"How can I…?"
"I assure you…Makoto Naegi will not violate Natsumi-sama…"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes. You have my word."
"Really?"
Pekoyama nodded as she assured to Fuyuhiko that Natsumi is in good hands, and said if Natsumi feels that Naegi violates her she would either beat him up or seek help, and Pekoyama pointed out that so far she is doing fine and appeared to be happy with Naegi.
Fuyihiko twitched his eye upon hearing that and expressed doubt about Naegi making Natsumi happy, and just as he is about to concede, Hanamura scooted closer, holding a hotdog and a small bun, where he made some comments with sensual connotations, which the others heard it and are put off by what the SHSL Cook just said as Fuyuhiko listened on.
"Once upon a time…"

"An ordinary boy stood in front of the Gangster's sister…both are naked…"

However, this made Fuyuhiko go into a panicking fit and is about to bolt out of the classroom when Nidai held him and urged him to calm down, amid the SHSL Gangster making a worried plea as he feared that Naegi might plan to seduce Natsumi.
Pekoyama smacked Hanamura with the bamboo sword as Koizumi and Saionji berated Hanamura for his comments, telling him to just shut up as the class would now have to pacify the panicking Gangster instead of planning their activities for the upcoming summer festival.
"Hanamura!"
"You perverted chef!"
"Heh…"
"Thanks to you our meeting has been interrupted!"
"Yeah! Kuzuryuu is now behaving and you made some silly monologue! Now he's panicking already!"
"Heh…"
"Do us a favor and just shut up, will you?"
"And no more perverted storylines!"
"Heh…"
Sonia attempted to use her ROYAL CHARM to calm and pacify Fuyuhiko, assuring him that his sister is in good hands and believe that Naegi has no intention of violating her, promising him that Naegi will be made liable if Natsumi is harmed, be it physical or emotional.
Fuyuhiko was silent though he seemed to take Sonia's word for it.
"Fuyuhiko-san. Calm down."
"…"
"Do not worry. Your little sister is in good hands."
"…"
"I promise that Makoto Naegi will not violate her."
"…"
"I give my word as princess of Novoselic."

Meanwhile, at the gymnasium, the scene shifts inside a storage room where Natsumi led Naegi inside and there she initiated a passionate moment as the two are kissing, which he went along to help her calm down after what happened earlier, and as the kiss intensifies, both teens are slowly getting heated as her hands slowly undid his pants and pushed them down before pushing his brief down and caress his SHAVED penis, which slowly harden and increase in size.

Naegi struggled to put his brief and pants on while covering his erection, and Natsumi mentally sighed as she wondered what would happen if they proceeded and there she wondered if she is ready for her to GO ALL THE WAY.
As Naegi is fully clothed, he apologized again if she got offended and Natsumi annoyingly assured that all is well but urged him not to tell anyone about this, which Naegi nodded.
"Natsumi-san…sorry…really…"
"Geez, I told you that it's fine. It's was my fault to begin with."
"Um…"
"Never mind it. If I find a private place for us…then we can…"
"Eh?"
"Don't tell my brother about this…you know how he…."
"O-okay…"
"…"
The two teens left the gymnasium and are about to leave the academy when Fuyuhiko came running and panting, as he wanted to make sure that his younger sister was not VIOLATED, and there he asked Naegi if he did anything FUNNY, which the Luckster honestly deny the accusation and said that he and Natsumi were discussing about putting up a stall at the upcoming summer festival.
Fuyuhiko then glanced at Naegi and asked if he is sure, which Naegi said it is the truth, though Fuyihiko still doubt the Luckster.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"You didn't do anything to her?"
"I didn't. Really."
"You didn't peek under her skirt?"
"No…I did not…"
"You didn't grope her boobs, did you?"
"No."
Natsumi was twitching her eye seeing that her elder brother would not relent and had to interject and told him that Naegi is practically harmless and made it clear that she and Naegi are behaving well and that he would not do anything perverted towards her.
Fuyuhiko is still unsure as he still believe that Naegi is up to no good, but then the rest of Class 77 came and tells Fuyuhiko that they are heading home and are having a meeting tomorrow at Hope's Peak Academy, and there Natsumi tells Naegi the exact date where they would meet to set up the stall, and notify him to be ready, saying that it is expected that there will be a long line of customers.
Naegi nodded as Natsumi leaves, and Fuyuhiko is suspicious as he whispered to Pekoyama to secretly follow Naegi and find out what he is planning to do, though Pekoyama appeared reluctant to carry out the order saying that Naegi hasn't done anything that would warrant a threat to Natsumi's well-being.
"Master…"
"I mean it…I want you to follow that boy and see what he is up to…"
"Please calm down…"
"How can I…?"
"I assure you…Makoto Naegi will not violate Natsumi-sama…"
"Are you sure? What if it's just a façade? What if he intend to rape her? I…"
"Very well…I'll follow him and report to you what I found out.."
"Good."
As Fuyuhiko secretly urges Pekoyama to do as told, he saw Naegi taking his leave and he told her to do it, and Pekoyama reluctantly did as told, where several minutes later she is secretly following Naegi, and as she observed him from a distance, she saw him meet up with Komaru, and the siblings began walking home together as she asks him what is he going to do at the summer festival, which he said that he is helping a schoolmate do some business.
Komaru nodded and tells him that he should get at least 25% of the profit since he is also involved, though he told her that he is only helping and has no intention of raking in the money, and the siblings began to bicker in a friendly way.
"No means no, Komaru."
"Eh? Why not?"
"I'm only helping her…it doesn't mean I get the share of the earnings…"
"But your also selling right?"
"Well…"
"Then that means you deserve the share. You should demand a 50% share…"
"Komaru…"
"I mean it, onii-chan."
After that, Pekoyama stopped her surveillance and lets the siblings leave in peace, seeing that Naegi is perfectly harmless and poses no threat to Natsumi, and she decided to go straight home and hoped that Fuyuhiko would not make a fuss once he hears about what she intend to tell him.

At the Kuzuryuu manor, Fuyuhiko blinked his eyes after being told by Peko about what she saw, and he asked her why she didn't follow Naegi to his home, reasoning that he might be planning something, but Pekoyama assured to him that Natsumi will be okay and that Naegi would not lay a perverted finger on her, showing that she has faith in Naegi.
Fuyuhiko was surprised that Peko is siding with Naegi, and he wonder if he should go to Naegi's house and confront him, but then Natsumi came and told him to simmer down, saying that Naegi has been a big help to her since she became a main course student, and reiterated that Naegi doesn't have it in him to try anything perverted and all.
Fuyuhiko stared at his younger sister and asked if she is sure about this and she nodded, and assured to him that Naegi respects her and he would not do anything to harm her.
"Are you sure that Naegi did not do anything to you?"
"Yes."
"No threat?"
"He didn't do anything perverted?"
"No."
"He didn't FLASH in front of you?"
"Geez, nii-san! Naegi never did that! And not once did he try to force himself on me! Believe me Naegi is respectful towards me and all!"
"…"
Fuyuhiko is still unsure but seeing that Natsumi would not budge, he decided to leave it at that, and as Natsumi head for her room, he secretly tells Pekoyama that they will follow Natsumi and Naegi, so as to see what activities they would do, yet she told him that Natsumi and Naegi are putting up a stall where they would sell hand towels to clients and passing customers.
She even said that it is unlikely that Naegi would goad her to do anything passionate and stuff, reasoning that Naegi respects Natsumi and is considerate towards her, which made Fuyuhiko act suspicious and asked if his younger sister is dating Naegi, though Pekoyama said there are no indications, but he is still worried about this.
"What if…Natsumi is dating that guy?"
"I am unsure at the moment, master."
"…"
"So far there are no indications of Natsumi-sama dating Naegi."
"…"
"Master?"
"I have a bad feeling about this…"
"Please calm down. We don't know if they are dating or not…"
What they did not know is that Naegi and Natsumi are secretly dating.
