I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here the Summer Festival arc continues…as the event is taking place and most of Class 77 are attending, and things will get a bit…lively once Naegi and Natsumi are there much to Fuyuhiko's disapproval…

Ch. 49: natsu matsuri
At the Kuzuryuu manor, the time now is 21:30, and the scene shifts at Fuyuhiko's bedroom where Fuyuhiko himself blinked his eyes in disbelief after being told by Peko about what she saw and heard near the Naegi residence, and he asked her why she didn't follow Naegi to his home, reasoning that he might be planning something, but Pekoyama assured to him that Natsumi will be okay and that Naegi would not lay a perverted finger on her, showing that she has faith in Naegi.
Fuyuhiko was surprised that Peko is siding with Naegi, and he wonder if he should go to Naegi's house and confront him, which Pekoyama advised him against it, saying it would only make matters worse, yet he insisted that he must make sure that Naegi is not planning anything perverted towards Natsumi, for he is worried that the SHSL Luckster might take advantage, which Pekoyama begged to differ.
"I don't think that would happen, master."
"How so?"
"I can tell."
"Appearances can be deceiving, Polo."
"Master…"
"I'm sure that kid is planning to take my sister to bed…"
"You shouldn't…"
"I'm worried about what that Naegi is planning to do to Natsumi! He might use herbs to seduce her and make her GO ALL THE WAY with him!"
Suddenly, Natsumi came inside, having overheard the discussion, and there she told him to simmer down, saying that Naegi has been a big help to her since she became a main course student, and reiterated that Naegi doesn't have it in him to try anything perverted and all.
Fuyuhiko stared at his younger sister and asked if she is sure about this and she nodded, and assured to him that Naegi respects her and he would not do anything to harm her.
"Are you sure that Naegi did not do anything to you?"
"Yes."
"No threat?"
"No."
"Are you sure he didn't do anything perverted?"
"No. and I mean NO."
"He didn't FLASH in front of you?"
"Geez, nii-san! Naegi never did that! And not once did he try to force himself on me! Believe me Naegi is respectful towards me and all!"
"…"
Fuyuhiko is still unsure but seeing that Natsumi would not budge, he decided to leave it at that, and as Natsumi head for her room, he secretly tells Pekoyama that they will follow Natsumi and Naegi, so as to see what activities they would do, yet she told him that Natsumi and Naegi are putting up a stall where they would sell hand towels to clients and passing customers.
She even said that it is unlikely that Naegi would goad her to do anything passionate and stuff, reasoning that Naegi respects Natsumi and is considerate towards her, which made Fuyuhiko act suspicious and asked if his younger sister is dating Naegi, though Pekoyama said there are no indications, but he is still worried about this.
"What if…Natsumi is dating that guy?"
"I am unsure at the moment, master."
"…"
"So far there are no indications of Natsumi-sama dating Naegi."
"…"
"Master?"
"I have a bad feeling about this…"
"Please calm down. We don't know if they are dating or not…"
What they did not know is that Naegi and Natsumi are secretly dating.
Fuyuhiko is wondering if Natsumi bribed Pekoyama into siding with her, yet having no proof, he had no choice but to call it a night and went to bed, and he began to think if he should follow Natsumi discreetly and see if Naegi has an ulterior motive towards her or not so that he can be sure if his younger sister is in good hands or not.

The next day, the time now is 10:00, and the scene shifts at the park where the festival is taking place, and Class 77 is assembled as Chiaki Nanami is making sure all of her classmates are present, and she made a count and noted that everyone is present, which consists of:

Everyone are in their summer attire, namely the kimono, and as the class are looking around, they came across Hajime Hinata, and Nanami greeted him and asked what brings him here, in which he said that he was just passing by, and she asked Hinata if he would like to tag along.
"Eh? You mean…?"
"Yes. Would you like to join us?"
"I don't know…I mean…you guys are Main Course students…"
"It doesn't matter. We're outside Hope's Peak Academy, so it's okay."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes.A"
Hinata appeared hesitant since the group that Nanami is with is from the main course, but Nanami said it's fine as it doesn't matter to her if he is from the reserve course. By then Sato passed by and saw Koizumi, and the two girls exchanged greetings, and asked what are they doing here, in which they realized that they are here for the same reason.
There Koizumi invited Sato to hang out with her and Class 77, which Sato accepted, and there Nanami tells Hinata to join in, as he is not alone now that Sato is with the group.
"There…your classmate from the Reserve Course has joined us. You should come too."
"Don't you think I'd be a bother to you?"
"Of course not. "
"Seriously?"
"Yes."
"Well…"
"It's fine, Hinata-kun."
"…"
Hinata sighed as he felt quite awkward, yet seeing Sato hanging out with a main course student like Koizumi, he eventually accepted, and thus the two reserve course students joined Class 77 and began trekking the area where the festival is underway.
However, as the group looked around, they came to an unexpected scene, where they saw Natsumi ordering her Kuzuryuu henchmen to set up the tent where she would sell various hand towels to clients, and with her is Naegi, as he is requested by Natsumi to help her out, with the promise that he would also get a fair share of the money earned.
Both Sato and Hinata are curious seeing that Natsumi and Naegi are getting along well, and the two reserve course students were quite surprised that her cocky attitude is almost gone, though her semi-mean streak is quite visible, yet she seemed to be getting along well with the SHSL Luckster. They wondered if her change of attitude is due to her being sorted into the main course or if this is because of Naegi.
"Kuzuryuu…she's…"
"Not the mean girl we used to know…"
"It's like she almost changed…"
"Is it because of that guy?"
"Makoto Naegi…maybe…"
"Still…I don't trust her yet…"
"Maybe we should give her a chance…"
"…"
Unsure, Sato spoke to Koizumi and the two friends are also surprise, as they were slightly taken aback at seeing Natsumi's change of attitude, and she no longer bullies anyone she meets, and Sato remained suspicious and suggested to Koizumi that Natsumi is up to something, but the SHSL Photographer assured to her friend that Natsumi has since MELLOWED DOWN and has been behaving well since.
Sato is in a state of disbelief seeing that Natsumi is rather behaving well and that her mean streak is almost gone, and is unsure if Fuyuhiko's younger sister really changed or not, and asked Koizumi if Natsumi really changed or if that is just a façade, which Koizumi said she too is unsure whether this is for real or not.
"I don't know…can't say for sure…"
"Then she is…"
"Now, now…let's not jumping to conclusions…"
"But, Mahiru…"
"Relax, Sato…"
"But…"
"Easy…"
"…"
Hinata came and told Sato that he believed that Natsumi has changed for a reason, and attributed it to Naegi, as he saw him and Natsumi hanging out often and that they are getting along so well that perhaps the SHAL Luckster is the reason why Natsumi no longer bullied anyone she meets.
Sato is still in a state of disbelief and asked Hinata if he is sure about this, given how Natsumi acted before during middle school and after getting into Hope's Peak Academy's Reserve Course, but Hinata assured that given how Natsumi acted recently, it is sure that she has changed for the better, and believed that Naegi is the reason why Natsumi began to behave well enough.
"I believe that Kuzuryuu has changed for the better."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"How so?"
"Naegi is the reason. Thanks to him she changed her ways, if slowly. Now she is staying out of trouble and no longer bully anyone."
"Seriously…?"
"Yes."
"…"
Suddenly an unexpected scene occurred, as Natsumi began to hug Naegi after the tent is set, and she is smiling genuinely, which earned gasps from Koizumi and Sato, seeing this for the first time, and there was no malice from her face, which surprised the two girls as they never thought that Natsumi would act like that before and now Natsumi appeared to act like a kind-hearted girl.
"No way…"
"She…she…"
"Just smiled…and looked pretty…"
"Did she really changed…?"
"What is she…?"
"Maybe Kuzuryuu did change her ways…"
"…"
"…"
Nanami smiled as she felt happy for Natsumi, and glanced at Hinata, as he is smiling at seeing Natsumi looking happy and content now that aside from getting into the main course, she has found a boyfriend who would keep her in line and have her spend time instead of bullying people around, and thus this somewhat cemented Natsumi's change from a bad girl to a tolerable person.
However, commotion ensued as you can see that Fuyuhiko is freaking out, and is restrained by Soda as the SHSL Gangster threatens to go after Naegi as he believed that the SHSL Luckster is making a pass on Natsumi, but Soda corrected him saying that it was Natsumi who is hugging Naegi and not the other way around.
"Whoa! Calm down!"
"Let me go! I'm going to kill him!"
"Why?"
"Are you blind? He's seducing my sister! He's…"
"She's the one who's hugging him…"
"That's why I say he's seducing my sister!"
"That doesn't look like the case…"
"For me it is!"
Fuyuhiko refused to believe it and insisted that Naegi is seducing Natsumi, which Soda told Fuyuhiko to calm down, but then they saw Natsumi gave Naegi a brief kiss on the lips, and the SHSL Gangster stared in shock, and Soda told him that Natsumi initiated it, thus there is no apparent danger and that she consented it.
Fuyuhiko could not believe that his younger sister is actually dating someone like Naegi, but then Hanamura began making risque monologues suggesting that Naegi might take Natsumi somewhere and coax her to do the YOU KNOW WHAT, freaking Fiyuhiko, and the rest of Class 77 berated Hanamura for his foolishness.
"Hanamura!"
"You idiot!"
"You're ruining our night!"
"He'll freak out all night because of you!"
"And that Naegi will be constantly harassed by Kuzuryuu because of you!"
"So do us a favor…"
"Shut your damn mouth, okay?"
"Yeah!"
