A/n: Well here's the latest chapter which I hope you all enjoy reading.

-Last time on I Wish-

"I get 10 wishes?!" exclaimed Meg in shock.

"Yup" was all Asimi said before they suddenly returned back to Meg's bedroom, though it took several seconds for this to register to the stunned brunette. "I always though that wishes came in 3's" said Meg as she moved to sit down on her bed, with the Djinn sitting cross-legged in the air.

"It really depends on the Djinn and how old they are" said Asimi with an almost dismissive shrug, Meg looked at him a little curiously. "How does their age matter for wishes?" asked Meg genuinely wanting to know since she never thought that age would be a factor, Asimi glanced at her from the corner of his for a couple of seconds before responding,

"The longer a Djinn is alive, the more wishes they're able to grant and with each wish granted they grow slightly more powerful. And eventually once their power reaches certain heights, then they are able to grant more wishes". Said Asimi in lecturing tone while suddenly wearing the clothes of a college professor.

"Wow" was all Meg could say as her mind absorbed this new information, before a thought occurred to her. "If I have then 10 wishes then there must be rules on what I can or can't wish for, right" asked Meg with some trepidation. After all with how many wishes she had, there had to be some pretty strict rules on how she used them.

"You're correct" said Asimi with a nod of his head, and nothing else.

Meg waited for several seconds for him to continue, but he stayed silent. "So what are these rules?" asked Meg irritably with a twitch of her left eye, Asimi's eyes lit up briefly as he opened his mouth to tell her...when her bedroom door burst open with her mother Lois entering without permission.

"Mom! What are you doing in my room" exclaimed Meg angry at having her privacy violated for the countless time, Lois took a long look around her daughter's room, seemingly ignoring her in the process. "I heard you talking to someone and got curious" said Lois looking a little disappointed that there was only Meg in the room, before her eye spied the lamp Meg had purchased earlier.

"Don't touch that!" said Meg hurriedly as she tried to stop her mother, but as usual Lois ignored her protests and picked up the lamp and examined it. "Where did you find such a dirty antique" asked Lois as she inspected the lamp, not seeing the affronted look she was seeing from the Djinn in the room. Meg didn't answer as she was paralyzed watching her mother with the lamp, and hoping that she didn't rub it.

So of course as soon as that thought crossed Meg's mind, that's exactly what Lois did. Meg shot a panicked look over to Asimi, who noticed her gaze and quirked an eyebrow at her. Lois having finished rubbing the lamp and not having anything happen, decided that she done intruding into her daughter's privacy(for the time being). So she dismissively tossed the lamp at Meg, who scrambled to catch it, "Figures that it's just a useless piece of junk" said Lois before walking out of her daughter's room not even bothering to close the door behind her.

Meg hurriedly slammed the door shut, while clutching Asimi's lamp to her heaving chest. "How come she didn't see you" asked Meg trying to get her nerves under control. Asimi just cocked his head at her slightly, "Only the holder of my lamp is able to see and hear me" explained the Djinn. Soon Meg was able to collect herself before she asked another question.

"So how come you didn't appear to grant her wishes, when she rubbed the lamp?".

"Because I only obey the first person who rubs the lamp, to everybody else it's just an ordinary lamp" explained Asimi.

Meg could only give a slightly sigh of relief, now that she knew that her family couldn't get a hold of the Djinn. Briefly she wondered what her various family members would've wished for, before she dispelled that line of thought knowing that only chaos could come from them with such power at their fingertips.

Abruptly Meg realized that her earlier question didn't get answered, so she moved back to sit on her bed before repeating it to Asimi. Who got a look of excitement on his face, before making a large whiteboard appear on her wall, taking up the entire space.

"Here are the rules that pertain to you and your wishes" said Asimi gesturing to the board, which was starting to be filled by numbers and letters.
