Sorry for the long hiatus. I've been busy with college and working on fics in another fandom. I know it's not an update for JL Vs. TB, but hopefully I'll have time to work on it soon.

Episode Summary: Something weird has happened. It was only a routine capture of Cinderblock. And then things went wrong. Very wrong. Now Robin, Beast Boy, and Adam are trapped in a dark version of Jump City. Unsure of how they got there. And the enemies they're facing... are Starfire, Raven, and Cyborg.

The scene showed a part of Jump City. The clear night sky glittered with stars...

The scene changed.

Thump! Thump! Thump! "Grrrrgh."

The large form of Cinderblock grunted as he ran down a dark street.

Ksch!

A blue sonic cannon blast went over his shoulder. Unfazed, he kept on running down the street.

The view moved back, showing Cyborg in his T-Car. The faces Beast Boy, Starfire, Raven, and Adam were seen in the car. "Yo Rob, any idea why twinkle rock here isn't fighting back?" He asked as he fired again.

The view expanded, showing Robin riding beside the T-Car on his R-Cycle. "Nope. All I know is that he escaped police custody an hour ago. Keep on him. I'm sure we'll get him to stop running one way or another." Robin said as he held out several bird-a-rangs.

The view moved, showing the outside of a large baseball stadium.

"Rrgh!" Crash! Thump! Thump! Thump!

The black gate to the field crashed to the ground. Cinderblock ran over the remains onto the field.

Whoosh!

A birdarang flew around Cinderblock's legs, with a piece of steel rope attached to it. It pulled itself taut.

"Roh?!" Boom!

Cinderblock grunted in surprise as he fell hard onto the grass of the field. The T-Car parked right in front of the struggling rock villain.

Phoom!

A large steel net popped out of the front of the car and covered Cinderblock. Cinderblock continued to rockily groan and struggle underneath the weighty covering.

Robin reappeared, parking his R-Cycle next to the T-Car. Cyborg, Raven, Beast Boy, Adam, and Starfire got out of the T-Car.

"Booyah! Now that's what I'm talking about!" Cyborg cheered.

"That was fast," Raven said monotonously. She pulled a book out from a dark portal and started to read.

Crack!

"That was the amazing!" Starfire said happily as she hugged Robin. An anime bubble appeared next to Robin, showing an x-ray of all the bones Starfire had just broken with the hug. "How do you get the accurate aim while moving the quick?"

Robin hugged Starfire back, not portraying the minutest amount of pain he was feeling. "Oh, you know, it's just all in the wrist Star-" Robin was saying as he tried to casually throw a bird-a-rang. Only for it to come around and have the flat end slap him in the face. "I meant to do that!" He said quickly, his face turning red with embarrassment.

"Great job doing all the work for us Chrome Dome." Beast Boy laughed while moving to pat the massive Cyborg's back.

"And you did a great job to my beautiful baby you." Beast Boy's hand stopped short as a googly-eyed Cyborg lovingly patted the hood of his car. Giving the metal a nice firm rubbing.

Beast Boy's face took on a comically amazingly disgusted look. "I worry about you sometimes dude." Beast Boy said as he comically slid away from the weird T-Car obsessed Cyborg.

Adam yawned. "I just wish we didn't have to do this past midnight." He said while rubbing his eyes. "Does this mean we can go back to sleep now?"

Robin stretched himself, popping his back into place. "Not yet Adam. We still have to wait here and make sure the police are able to-"

"Heheheh." Cinderblock started to chuckle. "You silly lads." A British tone came from his mouth.

All the Titans looked down with anime confused faces. "Um, did he just talk?" Raven asked.

"I thought you guys told me he didn't talk-" Adam was saying.

Sssss…

A pink haze came out of the field all around the Titans. Starfire took a breath of it first. "Whoa, it tastes like the zorkaberries of… of..." Starfire was saying as she swayed. Then she fell to the ground unconscious.

"Star!" Robin yelled.

"Yo, my scanners are going crazy!" Cyborg yelled.

"Titans, don't breathe… it… in…" Robin started to sway too. A weird relaxed look coming onto his face.

The other Titans tried to back away when they started to sway too. "Whoa, dude, this feels awe… some..." Beast Boy collapsed.

"So… tired..." Adam collapsed.

"Wait, Titans, we can't just… go… to… sleep..." Robin collapsed.

"We're… in… trouble..." Raven collapsed.

"Yo man, how bout… some meat with that nice… barbeque… sauuuuuccccceeeee." Cyborg collapsed as he said the last word.

The view showed the Titans all knocked out on the ground. Soundlessly asleep. Cinderblock flashed out of sight under the net, and the net sank soundlessly to the ground.

A figure approached through the haze. A gas mask was over his face. And his dark red hair shone in the fading pink gas all around.

"You're in my field now, my little duckies!" Mad Mod said as the pink haze disappeared. He took his mask off and swung his jeweled cane. Laughing as he did so. "Oh, how I've waited for this moment. The real Cinderblock has gotten away. And now, Mad Moddie gets his time to play-"

Beep!

Mad Mod stopped laughing. A strange, white, pyramid-shaped machine started to come out of the pitcher's mound between him and the Titans.

Mad Mod took a step back. "Huh? Now what the bloody hell is this thing doing here-"

Phoosh!

"Ah! AHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhh… ...!" A bright flash of light covered the whole area. Mad Mod's scream gradually faded away, until...

The flash of light disappeared.

The scene became dark.

The scene showed Jump City. Only, it looked dark and dreary. Gray clouds glided over darkened buildings, and no lights were on anywhere in the city. No citizens walked the streets. No cops patrolled the streets. There was no movement to be seen. Not even from the water of the bay.

It was a dark, depressing scene...

'Mad Dimension', appeared along the bottom of the view in big white bold letters for a few seconds, before slowly fading away.

The scene changed.

"Urghhh..."

Robin laid on tiled ground. He put one of his hands to his head and grimaced. His masked eyes opened.

"Huh?" He sat up.

The scene showed an empty mall all around him. Shops were open, and unattended, along with food places and stands. Little toys, strollers, purses, and other miscellaneous items were scattered over the floor. It was like it had been abandoned… but there was no dust anywhere. Like it had happened only recently.

Robin got up off the floor. "Where is everyone?" He asked.

He pulled out his T-Comm and opened it. "Titans, this is Robin, check-in, over," Robin said.

Kthththth…

All he got was static on his screen. "Titans, report in, over!"

Kththththth…

Robin frowned and closed his T-Comm. "What happened to us?" He muttered.

He started to walk forward through the gray, dreary-looking, empty mall.

"Huahhhhh!"

A green cat yawned to itself as it got up. It stretched its back out, and then scratched at its ear. He opened his eyes.

"MEOW!"

He jumped up off the ground, transforming back into Beast Boy into the process. "Dude! Where the hell am I?!"

The view around him showed a park. The grass under him was a grayish-green. Along with the trees. The pond, sand, and the dirt that had no grass covering it looked darker and more dreary then normal. And for some reason, there were frisbees, grills, blankets, and other stuff strewn all around. All of which were lacking in color. Yet there was no one there. No one was playing, eating, talking with each other. It was just… ... empty.

Beast Boy looked around himself. There was no one in sight around him. Beast Boy cupped his hands over his mouth. "Hey, where you dudes at?!" He yelled.

...

No one responded.

Beast Boy took one more look around himself. "Dang, this looks just about as depressing as Rae's room." He muttered to himself.

The scene moved back. Beast Boy morphed into a green eagle. Then the eagle took off into the air towards the dark, clouded sky.

"No… please… just five more minutes… ugh..."

Adam groaned to himself as he opened his dreary eyes. "Fine, but only because my bed is so hard today-" His eyes then went wide. "What the fetch?!"

Dark cement was under him.

He got up on his side. The view expanded, showing tipped over cars, abandoned items on the road, and the cables to a large, rusty looking, dreary bridge. No one was around.

Adam got on his feet. "Alright, is this supposed to be some sort of prank Beast Boy!?" He called out. "Because if it is, I'm not laughing!"

Nobody answered. "Beast Boy! Cyborg!" Adam called out again.

He received no response. Adam looked around again. Taking notice of the dark dreary colors of the bridge, the street, the cars… and the lack of people. It was like it was abandoned… yet it was like it had happened recently...

"Okay. Let me get this straight. First, we captured Cinderblock. Then, Cinderblock started to speak with a British Accent. After that, this weird gas came out of the field. And now, I've woken up in the middle of a dark dreary bridge." Adam said to himself while he thought about his situation.

...

Adam's face scrunched up anime style. "Yeah, like anything in that is supposed to make sense." He said sarcastically.

He looked around again. "You know what. This is fine. I'm probably just dreaming because of whatever that gas was... It's not like this is real, or that anything bad will happen here... ... right?... ..."

Adam took a good long look at his dark surroundings…

...

A steel sword appeared in his hands.

"Why do nightmares always have to start in dark and dreary surroundings?" Adam muttered timidly to himself. The poor boy was shaking in his boots.

He carefully made his way down the bridge back towards the dark and dreary city.

The scene showed the front of a clothes store. Robin appeared from the side.

The view followed Robin as he walked by the large store windows. Mannequins were dressed in the front windows like normal. No glass was broken. There were no signs of vandalism, riots, or anything The outfits looked a little darker than normal though, along with the windows and almost everything else. Besides his costume, there was nothing bright or colorful that he'd seen.

It was almost depressing.

"Wherever I am, this looks like a place only Raven could enjoy," Robin said to himself as he walked.

He was passing by the front doors of another store. He was about to walk on when he turned his head to look inside. He stopped in his tracks.

The view showed a tall orange figure staring at the mannequins at the front of the store. Robin looked surprised, almost doing a double-take. Her orange skin and red hair shined in the dark contrast all around like a beacon of light. The starbolt in her hands lighting her surroundings cast a beautiful green glow over everything. It was like a welcome relief of color to a dark, depressing, dreary world.

Robin started to run into the store. A wide smile on his face. "Star, I'm so glad you're ok-" Robin started to say as he opened his arms to hug her.

Starfire abruptly turned around. Her eyes flared green with anger. "You quortzlsnark!" She yelled.

Ksch!

Before Robin could react, he was blasted back out of the store by a bright green starbolt. He landed on his titanium cloak and quickly rolled back up. "Star, what are you-"

The view showed Starfire. She floated a few feet above the ground out of the store. Her eyes and hands were glowing bright green. She looked beyond angry. She looked menacing, like a star on the verge of going supernova.

"... Uh oh." Robin said as he backed up. Suddenly, Starfire did not look like a beautiful star in this dreary depressing world.

"You will die Citadel Scum!" Starfire yelled.

Ksch! Ksch!

Robin turned and ran. A pair of eyebeams blew up the tile he had been standing on.

The scene changed, showing a green eagle high up in the air. The scene all around showed a darkened Jump City.

From his height, Beast Boy could see all the way to the dark bay from the dark T-Tower. To the dark dreary mountaintops in the distance. Past the bay, for some reason, the area was covered in thick white fog just like the sky up above. Not even his sharp eyes could pierce it. Also, while it looked like there was no sun behind the clouds, or lights on in the city, he could still see normally. If normal was a gloomy non-colorful atmosphere that could give Raven's room a run for its money.

The eagle focused on the bridge. It looked like there was movement there.

The view showed an enhanced view of the green eagle's sight. At first, it looked like there was nothing. Just overturned cars and other crap.

Then Adam appeared, jumping off the side of an overturned truck that was blocking the road. He continued walking down the large darkened bridge by himself.

The eagle nodded its head. It flapped a few more times, preparing to fly down towards the bridge.

"Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos!" A yell shouted behind the eagle.

The eagle looked behind itself in surprise.

Wham! "Screechhhhhhh!"

A large wave of black energy slammed into the green eagle. It screeched in pain as it dropped through the air back towards the ground below.

Screechhhhhhh…

Adam looked up at the faint noise. His sword arm shook. "Oh no… is this the part in the nightmare where zombies come out from everywhere to eat my brains!" He yelled in worry to himself. "No! Please no! Let this be anything but a zombie nightmare! Please please please please please!" He begged while looking scaredly around. Trying to find the source of the weird scream he'd heard.

In the distance, his eyes caught a faint green outline falling through the sky towards the buildings of the city. Another object dived down after it.

Adam gasped in relief. Holding a hand over his heart. "Oh, it was just Beast Boy." He said in relief.

... his eyes widened comically. "Wait, that screech was from Beast Boy!" He realized.

As he watched, a storm of black swatted the large green bird out of the air again. The eagle screeched as it disappeared into the maze of buildings. The darkness followed after.

A bunch of anime question marks appeared over Adam's head. "What the fetch is going on? Is that Raven attacking him!? Why the fetch is she attacking him!? Is this some sort of relationship conflict or something?! What the hell is going on?!" He repeated himself.

Either way, he started to run for the end of the bridge that led back to the buildings of the city. He had to figure out what was happening.

Ksch!

Before he got far, a blue sonic cannon blast hit Adam in the side, launching him into the side of a car. He groaned, and got on one knee, before looking up.

The view showed Cyborg appear from behind another car. His sonic cannon was out, and his cybernetic eye was glowing a deep dark red.

Adam went wide-eyed at the sight. "Wait, Cy, it's me, why the hell are you shooting-" He tried to say.

Ksch!

Adam rolled to the side, barely dodging the next sonic cannon blast. The blast destroyed the car behind him.

"Yo! I'm taking you down this time for sure man!" Cyborg yelled angrily as if he hadn't heard Adam. Or didn't care what he'd said.

"Wait, Cyborg-"

Ksch!

Adam barely jumped out of the way of the blast in time. It went through the line of cars behind him, blowing up each one.

Adam looked behind himself at the destruction and sweatdropped. "Actually, I change my mind. I'd rather deal with a zombie apocalypse then this." He said before he turned tail and ran into the maze of cars.

Ksch! Ksch! Ksch!

"You're not getting away!" Cyborg fired away as he chased after Adam.
