The Army of Ash! Destroy Team Rocket!

Prologue

It was a beautiful day in Pallet Town, with the Sun periodically peeking down through a sky with a few puffy white clouds. A cool breeze blew through the town, nicely with balancing out the warm Sun. It was a day good enough to put anyone in a very good mood. Therefore, Delia Ketchum was humming to herself merrily as she took a large Pecha berry pie out of the oven with the intention of sharing it with her son Ash, his friend Goh, their Pokemon partners, and of course her dear Mimey.

Delia set the pie down on the counter to cool before sighing in contentment, proud of her work. She then proceeded to go about her other business about the house. As she took out the pair of pants and gloves she used for gardening out of the washing machine, she couldn't help but feel yet more pride at how well her garden had turned out. What started as a modest flower bed had become quite an impressive arrangement of gorgeous flora, along with a few healthy and fruitful berry bushes. Delia knew that Mimey was tending the plants that very moment, and she suddenly had the urge to get changed so that she could head out and join him.

A slashing sound, following by a loud crunching sound then caught Delia's attention, as did the distressed muffled voices that were coming from outside the house. Confused and concerned, Delia left the laundry to exit through the back door to see what the commotion was about. The second she came outside, she was immediately horror struck as she saw Mimey lying knocked out amid what remained of their garden. Even the Gracidea flowers that she had managed to transplant from the bouquet Ash had sent her were crushed.

Not to far away was a cruel eyed Magmar and his Trainer, a pale skinned man with teal hair and eyes who wore a white uniform with a patch on the left side of his shirt. The patch was a black pentagon with a red letter "R" emblazoned on it.

The man looked Delia up and down and said, "Delia Ketchum, I presume?"

Delia had her hands to her chest and said fearfully, "You. . .you. . ."

The man shook his head and said, "Of course you are. You matched the description I was given, so who else would you be? So, let us get down to business. I have been ordered to deliver a message to your son, what was his name? . . . Ash, correct?"

Delia managed to catch her breath, and adopted a stern, indignant tone, she said, "You ought to be ashamed of yourself! You trespass where I live, you destroy my garden, you attack my Pokemon friend, and then you have the nerve to make veiled threats against my son?" Delia pointed at the man and said, "You're heartless! You will wind up paying for these actions eventually! I'm not delivering any messages for you! Now leave!"

The man looked at Delia with great irritation. "You call me heartless, not that I care, but the simply fact is that being emotional isn't my style. Now, as for my message, what you have failed to realize that said message will be you."

Delia stern gaze faltered slightly, and she lowered her arm a big as she replied in uncertainty, "What?"

Delia was then knocked to the ground as something slimy and foul smelling slammed into her back. As she lay on the ground gasping for breath, a Golbat fluttered down from his hiding place on the roof.

The Team Rocket Admin stepped forward, wearing a small, cold smile as he stood over the woman pinned down by the Golbat's Sludge Bomb. "This is partially your fault, Mrs. Ketchum," the man said as he took out a small black card out of his pocket, "If only you had taught your son to mind his own business." He then dropped the card onto the ground in front of the frightened mother and turned and walked away from her. "You will find that I do not go easy even on foolish old women," he remarked callously.

Once the Admin was some distance away, he gave orders to his Pokemon, "Magmar, use Clear Smog. Golbat, use Sludge Bomb. Just as we rehearsed."

As Delia Ketchum laid on the ground defenseless, Magmar and Golbat both laughed wickedly as they both began to indulge in a type of cruelty that their blackened hearts relished and enjoyed.

Officer Jenny quickly rode her motorcycle to the Ketchum's house. The anonymous tip she received was very vague, let was without a doubt very dire. And with how beloved both the mother and son were by the community, this was something she simply had to take seriously. She parked her motorcycle in front of the house and quickly went to the door. She knocked on it a few times, only for it to swing open.

Officer Jenny was surprised to see that the door was unlocked and ajar, but quickly got past that and entered the house, calling out, "Mrs. Ketchum? It's Officer Jenny? Is everything alright?"

It didn't take long for Officer Jenny to reach the back door. Officer Jenny balked at the sight before her, then she quickly took out her phone to call for an ambulance.
