Ryu let out of a sigh of relief when the train finally screeched to a stand-still at Kyoto station. He'd made the fatal mistake of agreeing to share the mound of sweets Shion had bought; that along with a predisposition to motion sickness had left him feeling woozy for the last twenty minutes of the journey. It had taken all of his will-power not to choke up his guts on the train.

"Come on, lets get you some fresh air and cold water." Shion said, guiding him off the train, like she wasn't the culprit who'd left him feeling this ill. Well. Ryu supposed he only had himself to blame. Still. Eating too many sweets and getting sick was pretty pathetic, even by his standards.

"Where was this level of care when I was feeling ill?" Korosensei bemoaned. He was still in that ridiculous human disguise Leiko had crafted for him with his makeup. Albiet, slightly smudged from an hour of travel sickness. He looked kind of deflated and woozy "You never offered to get your dear teacher any water?"

"Why would we do that? Aren't we trying to kill you?" Subaru scoffed. "You might be an easier target if you're sick- "

"How cruel!" Korosensei whined. Wendy snickered at her brother's comment.

"Maybe we should take you on train journey's more often, sensei-" She teased.

Hishiro and Kuroe followed the behind the rest of their group silently. They hadn't really spoken much for the whole train journey. Both of them were pretty hard to read, neither showing emotion very often. Glancing back at them, Ryu was suddenly worried about walking around an unfamiliar city with the infamous Kuroe Nightroad. What if he did something to piss him off? was he really as ruthless as the rumours said? Pushing those thoughts to the back of his head, he tried to ignore them as they headed to the hotel.

"Well. it isn't the ritz." Takahiro said, as they looked up at the Inn they were staying at. "But it'll do."

The place wasn't bad persay, it did at least look clean, but the Inn they were staying at was a far-cry from the four-star hotel the main school had been placed. E-class had been relegated to an old-fashioned Inn, one with shared bathrooms and living space. It looked as if it hadn't been updated since it first opened, probably some time about forty years ago.

"Surely there isn't enough space in that building for all our hotel rooms." Mori said with a frown. "Maybe this is just were we're leaving our bags?"

The rest of his group let out a laugh.

"Mori. Welcome to the wonderful world of a working-class vacation." Takahiro said, patting his friend on the back. "Don't worry. You wont die from two nights of slumming it like us regular folk. Probably."

"Oh. Right. We are staying here." Mori said, turning slightly pink. The other's laughed.

"Don't worry, rich boy." Chisato said, walking past him into the building "I actually think we got the better deal. This will be far more fun than the stuffy hotel the main school are staying at."

"Yeah I agree! It'll be like a big sleepover." Kuzuha said, eyes sparkling with delight. "We can stay up late, and play truth or dare, and tell love stories."

"And get a boyfriend in Kyoto-" Yoruha finished witsfully. The rest of the group resisted the urge to roll their eyes. Of course it came back to that.

Ikuya walked in next to Chisato. He was sticking close to her, like he had been for the entire journey (for the entire school year, if you really wanted to get into it). He had a slight frown on his face, apparently spending the night in the same room as thirteen other boys wasn't his idea of fun.

"Don't worry. It's only two nights... and maybe we can sneak out together." Chisato said to him under her breath.

After they'd dropped off their bags at the Inn, it was time to head out into Kyoto in their groups. Of course, this wasn't an ordinary school trip; they also had the additional task of secretly supporting a hidden sniper to kill Korosensei. Distracting him and leaving him open should be easy, right?

Group 2 stood in the hotel lobby, waiting for the final member of their group to descend from upstairs.

"How long does it take to put on makeup anyway?" Mitsugu said, tapping her foot.

"It usually takes me less than five minutes if I'm playing with makeup." Echo said, honestly. "But I only like putting on the sparkly stuff."

"That question was rhetorical." Mitsugu said with a sigh. She leaned back against the couch. "Leiko! Hurry up!" She shouted up the stairs.

Yuhara and Shina were sat on the sofa oppisite. Shina was feeling pretty exhausted after the train journey here, which had been pretty much non-stop antics from the rest of her group. She didn't know what she'd done to deserve to be placed with such a chaotic gang of kids, okay, so they weren't all bad, Yua was actually kind of sweet and Echo was.. tolerable.

But even Yuhara, who was much more social than her, seemed slightly perturbed. But she suspected that was Pierre's fault more than anyones.

Speaking of.

"Would you like a sip of my drink, mon cher?" Pierre asked, sitting far too close to her. Shina resisted the urge to snap at him.

"No thank you." She said resolutely. She wanted Leiko to hurry up, if only so Pierre's attention would be divided slightly. He'd backed off from Mitsugu about an hour ago when she whispered some sort of threat to him. As if summoned by her thoughts, Leiko appeared at the top of the stairs, wearing something that certainly was not uniform.

"What's that supposed to be?" Mitsugu asked, raising an eyebrow.

"It's a dress- " Leiko said, doing a twirl.

"Are you sure that isn't just a long top?" Mitsugu asked. Leiko scowled at her.

"You just don't understand fashion." She said, descending the stairs. "Now lets hurry up and go."

"No, I want to finish this debate. Lets get Karasuma-Sensei to decide what type of clothing this is."

"Don't you dare!" Leiko warned, but it was too late.

"Karasuma-sensei- " Mitsuga called out, a smirk on his face. He appeared in the lobby, still in that suit he always wore. Karasuma took one look at Leiko and his expression darkened.

"That is not your uniform, young lady." He lectured. "You are meant to be representing the school here."

Leiko let out a frustrated sigh and stomped up the stairs. "Fine. I get it. I'm getting changed." She huffed.

Mitsugu snickered, clearly pleased with herself.

Yuhara gave Shina's hand a gentle squeeze. "Don't worry. This trip is going to be fun." he said. It wasn't exactly convincing.

"The war re-enactment!"

"The sweet shop!"
"The war re-enactment!"

"The SWEET SHOP!"

They had only just stepped out onto the streets of Kyoto but Hitoshi and Mahiro were already engaged in a fierce argument about where it was that they should go. Usually, Kazuma would be in the middle acting as negotiator, but since they'd made it to Kyoto, he'd been more preoccupied with checking his phone every two minutes. Tsukiko had tried to mediate, but she'd quickly been drowned out by the louder two boys.

"You just spent two hours on a train stuffing your face with sweets. Going to see a battle re-enactment is way cooler." Mahiro argued. "Stop thinking of your stomach."

"But I'm hungry. I can't enjoy things if I'm hungry" Hitoshi whined.. "I'm craving sweets."

"For once I agree with Hiro-chan. These battle re-enactments can only be seen in Kyoto." Satoshi said. "If you're hungry then get something from a vending machine."

Mahiro looked surprised for a moment at having Satoshi agree with him on something, but quickly began grinning. "Ha! It's two against one, Hitoshi. We're going to watch the battle re-enactment."

"That's not fair. Well. Tsukiko agrees with me." Hitoshi argued. Turning to face Tsukiko. "Don't you. See, she does!"

"Stop trying to pressure her!" Mahiro argued. "She doesn't always have to agree with you."

"Yes she does."

"Does not."

"Wow, Hiro-chan. You're so gallant, protecting your girlfriend." Satoshi said, rolling his eyes slightly. He seemed annoyed for some reason.

"Tsukiko isn't my girlfriend." Mahiro said, turning slightly pink.

"Just stop bickering and lets go. Unless you all want to spend the school trip arguing in the street." Satoshi said, before starting to walk away. The others followed him.

"Fine. I'll get something from a vending machine for now. But we better go to an amazing cafe later." Hitoshi relented.

Guess who isn't dead. IDK if I'm continuing this story for real, but I did really like the characters in this story and I wanted to write them at least one more time. I forgot some of theitr characterisations a bit so sorry if you're reading this and your character is OOC.

Thanks for all the long-time supporters, I hope this makes up a little bit for the years of radio silence.
