Hello, again.

Now comes the intro to the School Duel, and of course, the return of Chazz Princeton.

Just so you know, Abigail's initial performance is the series opening theme, voice and all.

I don't own Yugioh GX or Fairy Tail.

New and Improved?

Bella looked on as a helicopter landed, allowing its cargo of one Abigail Tevaka to walk over and join her. "Here for the School Duel, huh?"

"Partly." Abigail replied while hugging the girl. "Thought I'd give you a few stories about Al face-to-face at the same time. I am his girlfriend after all."

"'Am?'" Bella lightly teased. "Even if something fucked him up and made him think someone else was his girl?"

Bella further proved it was in fun when she let Abigail's response of elbow to her stomach connect.

While Abigail was busy a good bit of the time (being a singer and all), the two girls have tried to stay in contact.

Bella certainly appreciated another friend and link to her family, while the Fairies liked it when the older girl mimicked even them when she could (though Gajeel did end up getting teased mercilessly for Abigail being a better singer with his voice than himself).

At the very least, 3-Match will certainly help make things interesting.

"At any rate, we do have a little bit before the official meet-n-greet." Bella noted. "Want some help in getting set up?"

"Sure, if at least for company." Abigail nodded, the two walking towards the arena where the duel would be held.

The two found Fontaine waiting for them with a smile. "We figured you'd be here with Abigail, Ms. Oslow. I'm just here to help with setting things up."

Bella shrugged before they started working, finishing just in time for Fontaine to say "Just in time to join the others. Want to see who North's representative is?"

"No need, seeing as we had just checked actually." Mavis piped up, startling Bella again. "It's Chazz."

"Dammit, Mavis! You have got to stop doing that!" Bella growled before turning her attention to Mavis' last part. "Also, seriously? That cowardly ass Princeton?"

"Aye." Happy confirmed, flying in with Carla and PantherLily.

Bella pinched her nose. "We're never gonna get a break from that pompous hedgehog wannabe reject, are we?"

"Not l-" "That was rhetorical, Happy."

She sighed after a few moments. "Whatever. Might as well see whether he's actually gotten better, or is an even bigger bastard than before."

The group arrived at the docks just as a submarine was unloading its passengers. A quick glimpse with her left eye got Bella to slump. "Really? A flashy entrance? Dumbass."

Abigail gave her a glance. "Sounds like a certain someone I know."

"If you're talking about me, I don't do flashy entrances. I have a foul mouth." Bella stared right back.

"But you still can't help yourself with it, now can you?"

Bella was about to respond, but was interrupted by Jaden. "About time you got here, Bella, though I didn't expect Abigail to be here as well."

The entire crowd whirled around as Abigail shrugged. "Kind of hard to make it a surprise if it's known."

If it wasn't for Bella raising an eyebrow and moving a hand to her back, Abigail in particular would've been swarmed instantly. Thankfully, enough people recognized what she was doing to keep that reaction from happening.

Once they were down, Bella turned her attention to North's transport. "Either you come out now, or I come in there and drag your cowardly ass out! 1...2..."

Coward? Jaden thought, only to notice who responded to Bella's words. "Chazz is my opponent?"

"That's right. I'm back and better than ever-" "How is going emo remotely better?"

Chazz glared at Bella as that comment sent the crowd into chuckles/giggles at the somewhat random interruption.

As it died down, however, the distinct sound of a helicopter arriving closed in, getting even Abigail's curiosity until Bella managed to notice who was in it. "Great. Now his bastard older brothers are here as well."

"Okay, I'll bite. What happened?" Abigail gave the girl a look.

"The two tried to get me to go after a legit businessman who worked as a sort of extension of Pegasus in North Dakota, saying that he screwed them over." Bella growled, only to lightly smirk. "They found Karma was a major bitch as they got screwed over instead."

Though, while she said that, Bella did notice Chazz's expression wasn't one of acceptance or eagerness of the new arrivals. If anything, it was more unnerved apprehension that he kept from the crowd.

But not from me. Bella kept her voice low as she said to Mavis, "Seems like there is more going on that originally known."

"Yeah, I saw it too. Chazz, for all his bravado, isn't truly acting like Slade and Jagger. Although that's not the end of it. Look." She pointed at the camera crew that seemed to appear out of nowhere with the two older Princetons. "They're going to broadcast this duel, most likely to 'show' Chazz's dueling skills."

Bella sweat-dropped as a thought immediately came to mind. "They do realize that their normal tactics are gonna screw them over far more than actually going through to the end, right?"

"I doubt it."

Bella pinched her nose. "I guess we'll just have to keep a look out then."

XXXXX

Bella looked on with light amusement in her eyes and neutral lips as the introductions to the main event got underway. The amusement coming from the crowd's reaction to Abigail's initial performance, the expression from the Princeton family.

Just a little bit ago, the Exceeds overheard Slade and Jagger pressuring Chazz pretty heavily to win the duel and 'do his part of the plan.'

This has gotten a lot more complicated. Bella mused when Crowler took the stage.

"A remarkable performance as always, but now it's come down to the reason we're all here." He began. "Ha-huh?"

Bella had took the mic from him. "Nothing personal this time, but some of us would probably take offense to you introducing them, quills or not."

"I'M NOT A HEDGEHOG!" Chazz immediately shouted, getting a round of laughter.

"You deaf or something? I said 'quills,' not 'hedgehog.'" Bella replied. "But since he apparently thinks so, let's start with him, shall we? Out of the Stubborn North, and here to prove his worth as a duelist instead of his worth as a 'prince:' Chazz Princess-ton-oops, I mean Princeton."

She was clearly not sorry, shown as she looked on innocently as Chazz came up and glared at her for her jab.

"Out of Central, he's certainly not another face in the crowd, but he's had trouble actually showing just how much potential he truly has-" "Yeah, thanks to you and Fairy Tail!" "until now: Jaden Yuki, the Hero of the Duel."

Said boy came up with a deadpan expression. "'Hero of the Duel.' Seriously?"

Bella mocked sighed. "My, what high expectations you have. Did you want 'Savior of the Universe' instead?"

"How about you take this seriously?" Chazz intervened, only for Bella to reply with "I wasn't talking to you, Deck Toy."

Chazz lightly stiffened at that remark, but only Bella and Jaden really noticed as everyone else was too busy recovering from the introductions.

"However, you do have a point. We didn't come here to simply talk smack with each other after all, sooo...here you go!" She tossed the mic back to Crowler and disappeared, reappearing in her previous spot.

Upon seeing Bella's hardened stare, Abigail couldn't help but ask. "Everything alright?"

"Princeton stiffened when I called him 'Deck Toy.'" Bella answered, glancing towards Slade and Jagger.

Abigail flinched from shock, but otherwise did nothing as the duel finally got underway.

Reasons for this:

Taking too long in getting it to you guys.

Pretty well make it so the duel is the only thing for the next chapter.

Want the duel (let alone right afterwards) to be remotely half-decent. This is one of the bigger duels in Season 1 of canon after all.

Until next time. Please let me know what you think.
