"Lady Oakes, how nice of you to join us," she could hear the sarcasm dipping off the male's tongue as he continued to speak, "still don't get why you're here though. No offense Downton you can't really do much"

"Tony stark, earned his fortune building weapons to which he sold to a number of organisations some of which were questionable" she began to speak, not even looking at said man. "Kidnapped to build said weapons for a terror organisation the ten rings on orders of Obadiah Stane after receiving some help from Yinsen managed to build the first prototype arc reactor and escape."

"Wait Wha-"

"As well as the first prototype iron man suit. Shall I tell you about how you were dying and had to be forcefully given a drug to reduce the spreading of the poison... shall I go on? You and pepper are currently dating and surely you should know that your girlfriend is allergic to strawberry's so why on earth you brought her some as a 'sorry' present I shall never know" she stated not even 'looking' up from her book.

"Wait! Wait a moment!" she heard said male stuttered. "How do you know that?!"

"I listen, Mr stark, I know more things that you could even comprehend. Perhaps is a skill you should learn"

"Wow you're a listener," you could feel the sarcasm dripping off the man's tongue at the comment "that doesn't explain anything"

Cecilia would roll her eyes; but they couldn't see it nor did she have any pupils. "I think that's all you need to know, you're a genius, right? Lets play a game. I'm sure you could try and work it out, I have given you some facts. Alas more in due time. Though I am sure, you will find out some more interesting facts about this lovely situation after you finished hacking into the shield database. I will warn you though, Fury has caught many bugs in his system before."

"I think she's got you there" Banner commented from his station, a small smile growing on his face.

She nodded in the direction of the male before taking a sit in the back corner away from the Sceptor, she disliked the feeling the strange powerful weapon was giving off, it felt wrong. It felt addicting. Corrupting. Yet at the same time so pure. No wonder Steve had said they should have left it in the ocean...

But it was a moved that needed to be played.

The room descend into silence, stark and banner glancing at each other warily before returning their attention to the Sceptor. Her words hovering just above their heads.

She didn't even tell the pair when the sound of heavy boots stomped on the floor. The sounds echoing in her ears. "What are you doing Mr. Stark? Doesn't seem like you're looking for the tesseract?" the fury in the man's voice drew was barely concealed as the man stepped into lab, Natasha light footed steps following suit but still a few moments away from of the room.

"uh...kind of been wondering the same thing about you" Stark stated, Banner glanced at the man before trying to defused the situation. "We are. The models locked and we're sweeping for the signature now. When we get a hit, we'll have the location within half a mile." The doctor pointing towards one of the machines besides her.

"And you'll get your cube back, no muss, no fuss" tony stated before a beeping sound from his monitor drew his attention, he didn't even wait a beat before turning to fury, "what is phase 2?"

Cecilia wonder is the scene had been rehearsed as; if on que Steve entered the room dropping what appears to be a large assault rifle onto the table. She couldn't be sure on the weapon itself as the room was way to light for her shadows to really get a felt of the weapon

"Phase two is shield uses the cube to make weapons" Steve stated with a growl before turning towards tony, "sorry the computer was moving a little slow"

It was like a tennis match, as the conversation jumped back towards the director trying to explain only for it to be cut off and jumped to tony who showed the room something on the screen. What it was she hadn't the faintest idea but she believed in had something to do with the weapon before them.

Nastasha and Thor entered the room, the agent heading towards banner while the man growled at her, "did you know about this?"

Cecilia stayed quiet, no longer reading her book as she took in the situation around her. It was a good tactic really, obviously Loki landed the seeds of doubt which took root and now the 'team' were trying to rip a new one into each other due to a clash of culture and opinions.

All he needed to do now, wait until the correct time or for a distraction and then the game of trojan horse could begin. How will the dice fall? It was such a well-played move.

"You wanna think about removing yourself from this environment, doctor?" Nastasha asked instead.

"I was in Calcutta, I was pretty well removed."

"Loki's manipulating you" Cecilia pushed the book before her face to conceal a snort at the statement. He didn't need to manipulate the man to get what he wanted, she thought with amusement. Absentmindedly noting the slight pulsations that drifted from the spectre as the couple continued to argue.

"Yes, and I'm not leaving because suddenly you get a little twitchy. I'd like to know why shield is using the tesseract to build weapons of mass destruction" the doctor comment, pointing towards something she couldn't make out on the screen, making the silent drop into silence.

Finally, after a moment or two Nick fury gestured towards the Asgardian. "because of him"

If She could she would have rolled her eyes at the statement, there are stronger beings them him on this plain of existence, and he was worried about Thor? Her brother would laugh.

She sighed, turning a page of her book – No, she wasn't going to partake in the upcoming shouting match. Yes, she should try to point a stop to it but then the group wouldn't learn. She had played her piece it was time for the next move to be made.

She concealed a small smile behind her book, and it was more fun this way. As Nick fury made a dig at Tony's fortune. It seemed that a little bully circled had formed around the head spy as Tony, Steve and Thor started throwing comments at each other Natasha and Bruce making comments every now and then.

She couldn't help the twitch that ran though her neck – the ringing ever growing in her ears as the spectre began whining – its power pulses growing. Not a motion she enjoyed feeling.

"Well, Wh-what about little Miss Downton of over there!" the voice of tony broke though the chatter as he tried to draw her into the argument.

"I advise not drawing me into your arguments Mr. stark. I will destroy all of you in this childness voice of whit"

"Only because you have no other talents"

"You be surprised"

"Try me"

"I stopped explaining myself when I realised people only understand from their level of perception. So, until then my secrets are my own. I wish you luck finding them" she sent the man a vicious smile that didn't suit her image before returning her 'attention' towards the book. Trying to listen to the shadows –though the whining of the spectre was getting harder to ignore. Her attention snapped to Banner.

"Agent Romanoff, would you escort Dr. banner back to his

"Where?" banner cut him off, "you rented my room..."

"The cell was just in case..."

"In case you needed to kill me. But you can't! I know! I tried!"

Silent encased the room in as a cold chill descended on them. "I got low. I didn't see an end, so I put a bullet in my mouth and the other guy spit it out! So, I moved on. I focused on helping other people. I was good, until you dragged me back into this freak show and put everyone here at risk"

The man growled slightly, upset at the situation as a whole, his body shifting his weight from foot to foot, "you wanna know my secret, agent Romanoff? You wanna know how I stay calm?"

Cecilia cocked her slightly at the movement, the spectre power becoming an unbearable whine in her ear. She concealed the grimace off her face from the ear-splitting noise. The shield agents shifted uneasily on their feet while gripping their guns.

"Doctor banner..." Steve started off from besides tony his voice lining with caution. "Put down the sceptre"

Banner paused looking down at the Asgardian weapon in shock. He hadn't realised he had picked up the powerful device it seems. With the weapon in the man's hand Cecilia couldn't help but been further drawn into the whine and power emitting from the weapon, if it wasn't for the power, she already wielded she have been overcome with desire to wield it, to control it – like any other magic users.

The lady continued to studied the weapon with her own form of magic, not noticing that the doctor had placed the weapon down nor that all others turned towards a screen she could not read as it beeped.

It was a strange power that came off, though she was unsure about why it causing a whine in her head... it didn't explain why she felt a connection to the cube of power. A slight downward curvature of her lips was the only signification of a frown as the agents and hero around her began to argue about getting to the tesseract first and who should have it...

The sight of the blue cube flashed before her eyes. The cube was very familiar – similar to something from long ago. No longer was she in the hellicarrier.

A battle field laid before her – the grains and sand flittered between her toes as sea salt and smoke hit her senses. She could see the land before her – bodies painted it speaks of blood and gore making you unable to tell friend from foe. Black thread-locks and plaits whipped at her face as she turned towards the man shout in Latin at her as the golden sickle laid into his stomach. She could feel the grim, blood and war paint coating her body at the man before her slowly died. Another death on the raging battle field.

Cleaning the blade, the women, the warrior turned spotting two familiar figures standing beside her. A powerfully blue cube held hovering in the air by cupped hands.

A wry smile appeared on her lips as Celica pushed the memories down, refocusing on the world about them. It seemed she would have to meet an old friend after this, another move needed to be played. What did they go by now? High lama or the spirit leopard?

She stood; in shock the whine had stopped only to be followed by an overload of information entered her brain. Her standing, drawing the attention of those in the room, "watc-"

BOOM.
