Hello! Welcome to Part 2 of Samurai's Journey! Because Part 2 in the series is mostly Cam with only about five minutes (maybe) to the other Rangers, it's just easiest to combine episodes 2 and 3. I've seen authors send the OC with Cam before, but that wouldn't fit, here, as Andi was with the other Rangers fighting when he left, and this isn't really a situation where Andi and Hunter could sit down and finally have their heart-to-heart. They're in Ninja Ops, the others are all around, they're tired and achy, it just isn't the setting you would want for that kind of thing. So, we'll have to wait a little longer. But hey, if you've not caught up with Power Within, yet, there's some pretty awesome stuff happening over there.

Thank you so much to Ten Duel Commandments, Nycnewsgirl, XDXDXDcringemasterXDXDXD, MusicLovingPunkAnimeGirl, and FallenArcana for your lovely comments, and thank you for your notes about my grandfather. They really meant to a lot to me. In good news, my brother and sister-in-law just had their second child, so I am now an aunt to two beautiful little boys!

Without further ado, here we go!

Andi stumbled when the power of a teleport faded from around her body.

"Oh man. What's the deal?" Blake asked, sitting down heavily onto the table.

"I feel so weak," Hunter added, on the ground next to the table, leaning against it. Andi sat next to him, leaning more into him than she was into the table.

"Save your energy, Rangers," Sensei said. "I have engaged Cam's teleportation systems to bring you to safety; for now."

Andi nodded, "I thought that was a teleport." Then she groaned, her entire body aching.

"Where is Cam?" Tori asked, bracing her head up with a hand, elbow braced against her knee.

"He has embarked upon a journey that could very well determine the fate of the world as we know it," Sensei answered. "Cam has gone back in time to get help. But if he has not returned when time resumes, I fear there will be nothing to stop Madtropolis from destroying our planet."

"Come on, Cam, we need you," Tori said, looking up to the sky.

"I hope he's okay," Andi said. "But also, really? Time travel, again?!"

"Again?" Hunter asked, looking down at her.

"To get the Zeo Crystal, there was time travel involved," Andi said with a tired wave of her hand. "And time got turned back once, which was fun, so everyone got reverted to a younger age for like a day. Honestly as long as I never have to deal with a clone ever again, I'll be good."

She leaned against Hunter, again, the Crimson Ranger draping a heavy arm over her shoulders.

The Rangers mostly stayed silent, some dozing off. With how tired they were, it wasn't hard to do, not even the achiness keeping them awake. Finally, though, a weird feeling began to fill their bodies, and Tori raised her hands up to look at them.

"Sensei, what is that feeling?" the Blue Ranger asked.

"Time is resuming its' true course," Sensei said. "You will be returned to where you were the moment time stopped."

Sure enough, they were all fading away, already see-through.

"See you guys out there," Andi said, just as they fully disappeared from Ninja Ops. They reappeared, right where they had left off, Madtropolis mid-swing in his attempt to slap them.

However, the sound of an engine running distracted everybody, and caused them to all look to the sky.

"What's that noise?" Shane asked, confused.

"Look!" Tori saw it first, and easily pointed it out to her teammates.

"A helicopter?" Andi asked, confused.

Sure enough, it was a green helicopter, the front of it going into a point like a bird. The side door slid open, and a Green Power Ranger peaked out, sending the Rangers a salute.

"Hello, Power Rangers!" he called with the help of a microphone. "Looks like you could use some help! Green Samurai Ranger, at your service!"

"He made it," Andi said, although no one seemed to hear her over the sound of the helicopter blades cutting through the air.

"Hey, who're you?!" Madtropolis demanded.

"I'm the Ranger who's gonna bring you down!" the Green Ranger exclaimed, sitting back down in his cockpit. He shot powerful, green lasers at Madtropolis, but that seemed to only anger him.

"Augh, you'll pay for that!" the monster exclaimed, hopping from one foot to the other before gaining his footing again.

Madtropolis shot lightning out of his hands at the helicopter, but the Green Ranger avoided them easily, and then turned to go right into them. Turning the helicopter to the side, the Green Ranger used the blades to carve into the Earth, and when he flew back up into the air, the ground around Madtropolis split and left the monster on unsteady legs.

Next, the Rangers watched as the helicopter turned into a Megazord, this new Ranger having his own Warrior Mode.

"I'm not through with you, yet!" Madtropolis exclaimed. He was determined to win. However, with one last, powerful blast, the Green Ranger successfully destroyed Madtropolis in a large explosion.

The Rangers on the ground cheered, wide smiles overcoming them as they watched their newest teammate destroy his first monster.

Turning, the Rangers watched the Green Ranger jump from his cockpit, landing in front of them. This gave them a moment to really look at him. Much like them, his Ranger armor was made of something more like a light-weight chainmail than spandex. Over his chest was a golden chest plate, and his helmet had a four-point star as the visor.

"Is it just me, or is there a guy in Green Ranger gear over there?" Dustin asked, raising a hand up to scratch at his head.

"No dude," Shane said, "I see it too."

"You guys never said anything about a green one," Blake said.

"Yeah, way to hold out on us," Hunter said, sharing a look with his brother before looking back at the rest of his team.

"Hey, it's news to us, too," Shane countered.

"Maybe we're all hallucinating," Dustin said.

Andi rolled her eyes and shared a look with Tori, who looked equally annoyed with the boys.

"You're not hallucinating, Dustin," the Green Ranger said, making the Yellow Ranger's eyes widen.

"Do you guys really not know who this is?" Andi finally asked, arms crossed under her chest and eyebrows raised.

"How do you know my name?" Dustin asked instead, looking at the Green Ranger.

"We're surrounded by idiots," Tori whispered to Andi, making the White Ranger snort softly beneath her breath.

"Why wouldn't I know your name?" the Green Ranger asked.

With a bright flash of light, the Green Ranger demorphed, revealing none other than Cameron Watanabe.

Rushing forward, the Rangers surrounded Cam, wanting to give him their congratulations, but they all seemed to forget for a moment just how tired they were.

"Enough of that, now, we need to get you all to Ninja Ops!" Cam exclaimed, the boy in Green looking around at his exhausted friends with wide brown eyes. "Come on!" He began to lead them back to Ninja Ops, but Dustin shook his head.

"No thanks, I think I'll just wait here for a cab or a bus," the Yellow Ranger said. "I'm worked!"

"Run, you fool!" a sinister laugh caused the Rangers to pause and look up.

It was Lothor.

"Right behind ya, Cam!" Dustin quickly caught up with them, just as Lothor began to shoot powerful blasts at them, hoping to take them out now that they were all weakened.

"Maybe he didn't get enough love as a child," Blake said from the front of the line.

"Oh, Rangers!" Marah and Kapri appeared in front of them, both with long staffs in their hands and ready for a fight.

They turned and began to run up the river, the water shallow enough to do so. Hunter pulled Andi along, his arm around her shoulders as he forced her to run with him. Blasts from Lothor landed on either side of them, throwing water into the Rangers' faces. Marah and Kapri shot blasts at them, as well, aiding their uncle with his attack.

One shot got a little too close, and Andi's coin came into effect. The purple shield shot around them, protecting the Rangers from Lothor and his nieces.

"That damn shield!" Lothor roared, shooting another powerful blast at them. If not for the shield, it likely would have hit them.

It was only when the blasts stopped that the shield dropped, and the Rangers found themselves surrounded, Lothor in front of them, his nieces behind them, and a large group of Kelzaks everywhere else.

"What's the matter, nephew?" Lothor asked, "Don't like reunions?"

"Did he just say 'nephew'?" Dustin asked, looking confusedly at Cam. Cam didn't take his eyes off Lothor.

"You can't choose your family, Lothor!" Cam yelled back. "And I certainly didn't choose you!"

"There's always room for someone like you in my evil empire," Lothor offered. He had recognized Cam the second he first saw him, and was very eager to either get the younger boy to join him, or to destroy him for what he did all those years ago.

"You've got to be joking!"

"We'll see who has the last laugh, Samurai Ranger!" Lothor exclaimed. The Kelzaks charged, ready for a fight, but then the light of a teleport engulfed them, and the Rangers disappeared.

When they reappeared in Ninja Ops, Andi was the only one still standing.

"Been a long time since I felt one of those," she said with a breath, running a hand through her hair.

"Can we maybe have a warning, next time, Sensei?" Shane complained as he pushed himself up.

"Yeah, and give us a chance to work on our landing?" Tori added.

"Your appreciation is noted," Sensei said with a nod.

"How are you standing, Andi?" Dustin asked, glancing around at the White Ranger.

Andi shrugged. "We had to teleport to the Power Chamber, I got used to it. Didn't exactly have Ninja Streak at the time."

"You had teleportation and didn't tell us?" Blake complained.

"It was alien tech, I couldn't figure out how they did it if I tried," Andi said.

"Sorry, Sensei," Shane cut in, "But if we had our powers, I know we could have taken him."

"Then perhaps it is time you got them back," Sensei said, and the Rangers all turned to the orb. It was resting on the long table, sitting there innocently, like it didn't have their powers trapped inside of it. "The sphere holds the power of six Rangers. Only a greater power can open it."

"Well how about seven Rangers?" Dustin suggested.

"I think Dustin's right," Cam said, sounding impressed.

"Thanks," Dustin grinned. Even Andi's lips turned up a little.

Together, the seven Rangers all put their hands out, stacking them right above the orb. They concentrated, willing whatever they had left in them to go into the orb, and hopefully break it.

A bright light began to shine under their hands, until, finally, the orb broke. All of them shot back as their powers shot back into them. Andi grinned as a bright white light flew into her chest, and a rush of energy suddenly flowed through her.

It had worked!

As they all stood up, they began to kick and punch, showing off that their strength was back, or testing that they really were back.

"Just, one question, though, Cam," Tori started, sharing a look with Andi before focusing on the new Green Ranger.

"How did all of this happen?" Andi finished.

"Yeah, you're suddenly a Ranger?!" Tori added, as the guys crowded around him demanding their own answers.

"Hey, let's talk about Uncle Lothor," Shane said, finally getting everyone's attention. "It's crazy, bro!"

"Tell me about it," Cam said with a roll of his eyes. "Nice family tree I have."

"Cam, Lothor is no relation of ours," Sensei said with a shake of his head.

"How can you say that?" Cam asked, confused. He sat down at his computer, facing his father, as everyone else gathered behind him.

"By law, once a ninja is banished, they cease to exist," Sensei explained. "The one I knew as my brother is a mere memory."

"Don't you think I had a right to know?" Cam asked.

"Yeah, we all did," Hunter added.

"This isn't the type of information you can hide from us, Sensei, this is a need to know situation," Andi said.

"Perhaps, but what would it have changed?" Sensei asked. "Would you have battled him any differently?"

They let that statement sink in, all of them realizing that no, they wouldn't have fought any differently had they known.

"Is there any way we could possibly turn him back to good?" Andi asked. "Zordon's wave of good he produced when his tube broke turned Zedd and Rita good, and if those two can go good, why can't Lothor?"

"It took an immense amount of power to turn Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa to the good side, an immense power of the same size is the only thing that would turn Lothor back into my brother," Sensei said. "But I appreciate the thought, Andrea."

Andi grimaced, but nodded, understanding that there was nothing in their world that would create a power surge as powerful as the one Zordon had produced when he died.

Before anything else could be said, the alarms starting blaring, alerting the Rangers to monsters in Blue Bay.

"Speaking of battling," Tori said, scanning the screens for details.

"Woah, dude, they're all over the place!" Shane said.

"Split up," Sensei said, turning back to look at them. "Rangers, go! Cam ,you will remain here to monitor for additional attacks."

The Rangers all nodded and turned, Shane stepping back for a moment.

"See you out there," the Red Ranger said, grasping Cam's shoulder for a moment.

"Green did always look good on you," Tori said.

Andi just smiled at him, and joined Tori to join the others.

The group quickly morphed and split up, Shane and Blake going to the beach, Dustin and Tori to an abandoned alley, and Hunter and Andi to a plaza. The monster the Crimson and White Rangers fought was tough, looking like someone took Alpha 5 and made him into a mummy.

"Romeo!" Andi shouted, and Hunter quickly stepped to the side, allowing the White Ranger to run past him on his right, sword raised. She hit the monster with it, trading blows with it for a moment, before Hunter replaced her.

"Oscar!" he shouted, and Andi ducked and backed off which allowed him to jump over her.

They fought like this for a while, having recently come up with a code between the two of them. They couldn't just shout right or left, the monsters would know where they were coming from. Instead, they used words from the military alphabet, the first letter standing for the action they were going to take.

"Stop using weird words!" the monster exclaimed.

Finally, the two stood together, swords drawn towards the monster.

"I'll go Juliet Hotel Romeo?" Andi suggested.

Hunter nodded, "And I'll go Lima?"

"Sounds good to me," she agreed, and the two jumped, going as high as their Ranger powers allowed them to, Andi going for the monster's right, and Hunter its' left.

With one final, good hit, the monster was destroyed.

"Alright!" Andi exclaimed, a huge smile under her helmet as she turned toward Hunter.

"That new system works great," Hunter replied. He raised his hand up and Andi happily high-fived him.

"Alright, let's get to the next one," Andi said, but before the two could take a step, the monster they had destroyed, reassembled himself. "What?"

"That's disturbing," Hunter noted, stepping forward ever so slightly so he was protectively in front of her.

"Rangers, return to Ninja Ops, right away!" Sensei said. "We must regroup!"

"No problem, Sensei," Andi responded, and then looked up at Hunter again. He just shrugged at her, so the two ninja streaked back to Ops, meeting the others there, as well. But Cam apparently did not have a good first time out.

"Woah, that's nasty!" Hunter exclaimed upon seeing Cam. "Dude! What happened?"

"I got a little too close to that over-grown sucker," Cam said, trying to joke, and then he grimaced. There were marks all over his chest that looked painful, and his body was covered in sweat.

"Ew," the other Rangers backed up a little, and then the monitor beeped.

"Stardvark has grown," Sensei reported, looking at the screens. All of the other monsters had apparently reassembled themselves, too, but at least only one had grown.

"We'll get the Zords," Shane said.

"Thunder Rangers, Andrea, can you handle the others?"

"With pleasure," Hunter said.

"We got them, Sensei," Andi added.

"What about me?" Cam asked, beginning to scratch at his shoulder.

"Uh, Cam?" Tori asked, "What's that?"

Cam looked down, and saw what looked like thick hair growing out of his fingers. He inspected them for a moment, and then finally came to a conclusion.

"I have no idea."

"Rangers, go. I will investigate Cam's condition," Sensei ordered.

The others agreed, morphed, and then separated again. While Shane, Tori, and Dustin took on Stardvark, Hunter, Blake, and Andi took on the other monsters, the Thunder Brothers teaming up while Andi went off on her own.

"Alright, Pinhead, come at me!" Andi exclaimed, sword out and pointing at a monster that looked straight out of a bad Syfy movie.

"You'll wish you never said that, girlie!" the monster exclaimed, wielding his own sword.

"Try me," Andi challenged with a grin.

The monster charged, swinging wildly in an attempt to hit Andi. She dodged gracefully and swung her own sword down.

The two seemingly fenced for a long time, to the point where Andi felt sweat going down her face, and her arms begin to shake.

"Alright, this is getting old," the White Ranger said. Letting her sword disappear in a flash of light, she grinned. "Ice bow!" With another flash, a bow appeared in her hand, and a quiver full of arrows appeared on her back.

"What's a tiny bow going to do?" the monster laughed, and Andi nocked an arrow. The bow had 50 pounds of pull-back weight, the same as the one she practiced with that was sitting in her apartment. So, with ease, she aimed, and released. The arrow hit the monster head on, destroying it. Right at the same time, the monster the Megazord was fighting exploded… only to get replaced with the monster Hunter and Andi had destroyed earlier.

"Andi, you okay?" she heard Cam asked.

"Yeah, I'm good," she replied. "How're the others?"

"Hunter and Blake are fighting two more at the library."

"Alright, I'm on my way," Andi said, and she took off in a Ninja Streak. She met Hunter and Blake, already fighting two bug looking monsters.

"Hey, I'm here to help!" Andi announced, "Hunter, Uniform!"

Hunter quickly jumped up, allowing Andi to under him to practically tackle the monster he had been fighting.

"Romeo!" Hunter exclaimed. Andi stepped to the left and Hunter flew by her right. Another giant monster was destroyed, and a fly monster grew, hopefully the final one.

Finally, the three Rangers managed to get the two monsters away from them and in one spot.

"Let's put 'em together!" Hunter exclaimed, combining his and Blake's weapons. "Andi, yours too!"

"Alright!" Andi exclaimed, quickly adding her bow to the Thunder Blaster.

"Winter Storm Thunder Blaster!" the three exclaimed, "Fire!"

It only took one, powerful shot for the two weakened monsters to be destroyed, and this time, they didn't come back.

"Done deal!" Hunter said, a grin heard easily in his voice.

"Yeah!" Blake agreed.

"Way to go, guys!" Andi finished.

At the same time, the third monster for the Megazord exploded, and finally, the Rangers were done.

Going back to Ninja Ops after the fight, the original 6 Rangers quickly started on a project, making sure Cam couldn't see it while he worked on something else. But when he finally came to find them, it was with good news.

"Guys! I linked the Samurai Saber with the Ninja Ops Mainframe, so I should be able to continue my strategic duties even in the field." The new Green Ranger sounded excited, as he should have been. He was finally a Ranger!

He found them, though, standing in front of something. Or well, he found Tori, Hunter, Andi, Dustin, and Blake standing in front of something, all grinning at him.

"What? What're you all smiling about?"

Without saying a word, the five Rangers glanced at each other and moved out of the way, allowing Shane to swivel the chair he was sitting in around to face Cam. In his lap, was a ninja uniform in Cam's size, with green accents.

"Wow! Where did that-" Cam started, overjoyed.

"If you're gonna be part of the team, you gotta have the gear," Shane handed over the uniform, which Cam eagerly took. He held it up to himself, and they all noticed the Samurai symbol emblazoned upon it, marking it as different from the others. Shane, Dustin, and Tori had the Wind Ninja symbol on theirs, in their respective colors. Hunter and Blake, in their colors, had lightening strikes. And on Andi's, was a white snowflake.

"It takes a great deal of courage for a man to choose his own destiny.," Sensei said. "Congratulations. No father could be prouder of his son."

Cam smiled at his father, and then looked back at the other Rangers. They took the opportunity to gather around him, congratulating him for becoming a Ranger.

"Hey Cam," Andi said, bringing the Green Ranger's attention to her. She smiled at him, "May the power protect you, always."

He grinned.
