Kats thought swirled, and heart pounded. The silence hung around everyone like a blanket as they held their breath. "Things haven't been this tense since the cold war." Julia mumbled. Everything they had worked for, everything they had fought for was down to this once moment. This could mean their first victory in four and a half years, or it could mean another loss for their team. All she could count on was that they got the kill first.

Kiri and her crew, coughing, stumble out of the tank, covered in smoke. Kumi and her crew do the same. "And the match is over! Both flag tanks have been taken out!" The announcer yelled into the microphone. "We'll need to look back on the footage to see who will claim the victory!"

Katsumi, Julia, Akina and Amber climb out of the tank, and into the fresh air. Julia takes a loud inhale and exhale, while Amber jumps and rolls into the grass. The match had dragged on for six hours, and they had started just before noon. Nothing was as heart racing as this. Katsumi had felt something for the first time she hadn't felt in a long time. The feeling of adrenaline. It raced through her body like the loud banging of the gun ringing throughout the tank.

It was a feeling she hadn't felt since entering school, the excitement of getting to try Sensha-do. But at that one moment they had their first match, and everything had gone down hill, it all had left her. Somewhere inside of her, that spark, that tiny little spark was just waiting for impact. The first defeat had left her dry, and now, she felt that same feeling she had felt those four years ago.

But now wasn't the time to remember those times, it was time to look forward to the next ten minutes, the most anticipating time of her life.

"Hey Katty, you coming with us?" Julia asked, staring straight into Katsumi's blank eyes. "Katty?"

"Yeah yeah, I'll leave soon, just give me a moment." Kat said.

"If you say so." Akina said, giving Kat a pat on the shoulder. "You did good Kat, you did good."

"Whatever you say" She replied. Her crew followed the same path that the other crews went, leaving Katsumi with her thoughts. The tanks would stay there until they would be picked up. Katsumi stayed put for another five minutes. The feeling was extraordinary, and she wouldn't let it go. She couldn't let it go.

Kay sat on the end of her chair, mouth open, body still. Alisa looked in wonder, and Naomi sat cross legged, her bubble half blown. Darjeeling sat there, tea in her hands, unmoving. Pekoes hands were clasped, and she was visibly shaking. Assam stood, her mouth open wide. Rosehip came walking in. "Hey! Whats going on?!" Rosehip asked, but she never got a response. Her tea getting cooler and cooler in her hands.

Darjeeling breaks the silence, "Well, thats something, but we must leave, we currently have a match against that new school Ooarai. I trust in you to tell me who wins." And with that, Darjeeling leaves. Her crewmates follow her, leaving Kay, Naomi and Alisa by themselves.

Anka and the rest of Summit sit in awe. Some of the british spit out their tea as a voice comes over the speakers. "We cannot confirm the winner of this match, it was too close to tell!"

"A tie?!" One of the girls cry out, "We worked our asses off for a tie?!" Anka glares down the girl, and watches as Kumi, her crew, and the rest of the British crews walking back.

She gives a sigh of relief as strolls past after a bit.

The final decisions was that the game would end in a tie. Both sides didn't agree to a rematch, and lKat was relieved to have the 6 hour long match to end. All of the tank crew walk into Summits lounge. Kaitlyn disappears into her office, and Kat takes the time to breath.

All of the girls were worn out and tired. As Kat slowly sinks into sleep, Kailtyn bursts through the door holding a flier. "Look at this!" She waves a flier, and all the girls rush over. "The third division of Sensha-do had the change to fight in the larger league if they win their Winter tournament, hope to see you all there!"

Kat takes a look at the poster and screams with joy, finally a chance to fight her greatest rival.
