Sam stood before the door of her room, the large wooden door bolted shut after the male who had imprisoned her had left, his words still echoing around in her mind. She really didn't want to hurt her friend but this was never going to be a winning situation for her or him. She was damned if she did and damned if she didn't and there was no other way to look at it. The blond female ghost was still in the room, her eyes still dim as she stood there watching the Goth. She didn't seem to notice the raven haired female tho, her eyes cloudy. The raven haired woman glanced at her and sighed. Dora would be no help to her at all, not with the way she was being controlled, but if she was truly controlled by the same collar around her own neck then why wasn't Sam? That made no sense. She turned again to look at the blonde ghost. Was it that this ghost was also being blackmailed with something she valued? Sam couldn't think of anything save for her freedom that this ghost would value so what did the male have that Dora would want in exchange for not speaking to her? She wasn't under his control but he did have her being obedient.
"Dora, I know that you aren't under his control, but I get that you can't answer me," the raven haired woman stated. The blonde blinked in surprise. "Is there a way that you can communicate with me to tell me what is going on here?" Those ghostly red eyes cleared for a moment as if to answer her before becoming lifeless again. Was the blonde trying to communicate by controlling her own eyes? Did this mean that the reason the ghost before her couldn't answer was because the male was listening. "Is he listening to us?" A flicker of blue was her response. So it was possible that he couldn't watch them. "Can he see us?" This time her eyes didn't change. Was this a no to her question. She felt it was so she turned from the blonde for a moment to look around her again, to see if there was a device. How co- 'The choker!' She reached up to touch the device and noticed that the red eyes of the woman before her flicker to blue. She was right! It was close enough that there was no place to escape his ears. He could hear all that they said but since he had no eyes on them could she write it out? Turning toward the bed where two nightstands framed it, the cherry wood stands holding one drawer. Did he think about how to keep them from communicating or had this been forgotten. Moving toward the bed she grasped the first handle and yanked the drawer open, a frown turning her lavender lips. 'Damn!' She rushed to the other side and was again disappointed when she found that again the drawer was empty.
She wanted to scream! This was frustrating but then she heard a knock and turned toward the door before another knock sounded drawing her attention toward where Dora stood, the blonde ghost now standing before the makeup desk. She waved her over before glancing around and grabbing one of the dark lipsticks on the counter of the wooden desk. Smirking Sam got what she was trying to show her and walking over she grabbed another one of the dark colored sticks and wrote out a question. For the next thirty minutes the two females conveyed what was going on between them and the male that had kidnapped them.
Two figures moved amongst the woods, the bright green leaves making the halfa feel like he was back in his hometown, this part of the Ghost Zone more Earth-like. Weirdly enough this kind of appeared to be like Aragon, the father of the ghost that they were currently tracking. He had wanted his place to be like that of his time on Earth but this wasn't dark, the brightness of this area almost blinding. The land didn't look dead, giving them more coverage while the other ghost had been more about a death-like appearance with just darkness. The problem was that while they had coverage because of the more lively trees, the brightness of the orb in the sky would not be to their benefit! The large creature with the halfa turned toward him, the pair of them still deep in the forest from what the white haired male could see.
"Ĉi tie mi vidis lin iri," the green eyed wolf creature stated as he moved a few feet to reveal that they were actually on the edge of the woods, the trees just thick enough to give off the illusion. "Li estas tuj preter ĉi tie. Mi ne scias kie estas amiko, sed tio estas ĉar mi neniam eniris." Danny nodded. He could see that. Wulf helped the male but had not been aware of whom he was helping and thus had not known to follow him until he had just followed his own instinct after the fact. Now that he knew the new male had been after the Goth he had gone into action, but still he didn't know that Sam had been taken until Danny had come to him.
"Vi faris kion vi povis, do mi pritraktos ĝin de ĉi tie. Dankon mia amiko," the halfa stated with a smile. The wolf-like creature's ears went down and Danny got that he was still upset with himself. He reiterated that he hadn't known that the male was bad and that he didn't blame the creature. Wulf's ears came up slowly before giving a lick to the halfa. He looked toward where the halfa was headed. The castle was enormous, not small in any fashion like Aragon's had been. While the father of this ghost had not had a small castle himself, this current one left Aragon's in the shadows. Now he just had to figure out who was in the castle and where the Goth was kept. He was sure that she was alive, the ghost that had taken her having been birthed by a ghost that had wanted something no one else had. The problem was that he didn't understand what else he could be obsessed with as the mother's info hadn't been in the info that Vlad had kept or it had been erased.
Going invisible the halfa headed toward the castle, the cleanliness of the stone making it almost too new while most castles held moss in the cracks this one was super clean and bright. Sam must hate it there since she wasn't a fan of the sun or anything super bright... Then again he didn't know what was going on in the castle, what it looked like. "I hope you're okay Sam."
The Goth grabbed a cloth and wiped the mirror again, the words disappearing with a few swipes while the blonde glanced at the door. The ghost had informed the woman about what the male had on her. While her freedom was important it seemed that the male, vile as he was, had gone far to gain the blonde ghost by stealing her family. At first Sam had been confused as the only one she had been aware of had been Aragon and there was no love lost between them so that had baffled her until the blonde had clarified. The blonde had found a male, a ghost that Sam had never met but apparently was very nice and had birthed a child for him. The pair of males had been kidnapped and were being held. Sam had been unsure as to how he was holding them unless he had collars on them as well since the collar on Dora was like her own, but was made to keep the blonde from using her powers to escape. She no longer had her necklace to turn into a dragon so she only had the basic powers of intangibility or invisibility and she could use neither.
There was another bit of information that had been revealed... The male that had kidnapped her was her nephew! This male that had come after her and the ghost before her was the child of Aragon and another ghost. There was a bit of mystery behind that as Dora had no idea who the female had been so she had no idea what his other quirk was. The name of the male was also a mystery. No one knew his name. He had kept his identity in the shadows and had not even given the wishing ghost his name. He had not let much slip about him and Dora had only known who he was because she had been told by her brother that he had sired a child. He had not told her why he had done it nor had he given her any more info about the child sired save for it was a boy. It seemed that the ghost had not really cared about siring a child but had been interested enough to know when the child was born and the gender of the child. There were too many questions about this new ghost and no info on what they could do to defeat him. The blonde female was looking just as lost as the Goth was feeling. She turned and walked toward the window, the bars blocking some of the light but making her aware that she was a captive and the one that could set her free was probably just as unsure of how he could get to her. She knew Danny, and knew that with his recent expression of feelings would come to her aid, not that she doubted he would even if they had not cleared the air around their feelings. He was a good friend and while in the past he had failed them a few times he had grown.
"Ah, hoping for him to come and save you," came a dark voice, the male from earlier coming into the room. "I would say don't get your hopes up but I know that the halfa has been known to come thru every time, oh, wait, he has failed a few times has he not?" Sam turned quickly, Dora stiffening at the same time as the raven haired female. This male seemed to know what she had been thinking or had he truly done his homework on the halfa? She chose not to say anything to him but instead waited for him to continue. "Your silence speaks volumes as I know you have not forgotten it. I bet you have forgiven him, telling yourself that he has grown up, do you really believe such a thing?" He moved closer to her, his blood red eyes darkening and for some reason Sam didn't know why but she felt like he was telling the truth, that she didn't know if she believed that Danny had changed. He took another step toward her, his eyes darkening even more to a maroon tint. She could see herself in his eyes, the pain she had suffered, the pain that Tucker had suffered until he had stopped helping for a moment leaving the Goth to take over ghost hunting for both males.
The marks that had covered her body, the soreness of her body from the days of taking over by herself. The misery she felt, but the fact that she had believed in not only Danny but Tucker, the dark skinned male telling her so many times to give up, that the halfa had abandoned them for the one person who continued to hurt her without his knowledge or simply because he refused to see it. The male before her offered her his hand.
"Sam, you are a very unique female, a strong woman that should not rely on any male," the male said, his voice soft. Dora had been forgotten but she was paying attention, hoping that the Goth was just playing along but she could see something happening to the Goth, her once vibrant amethyst eyes growing darker with his every word. What could she do? She couldn't risk her own family for the human, but Sam had helped her in the past. The halfa had helped her to defeat her brother and give her freedom before so why couldn't she risk it herself? The answer was easy, but at the same time it made her feel terrible. "I can't promise to be perfect but I would take care of you." Sam smiled, the smile strange on the lips of the Goth but she nodded. The male smiled.
"Why are you doing this?" Dora hissed as she moved closer to the large male. "Your father was evil but you weren't raised by him." He flickered his gaze over to her.
"Don't worry about why I do this, bitch," he muttered. "I have my reasons and that's all you need to know." He returned his gaze to the Goth. "Let us go and entertain our guests. They are waiting to meet the new queen." Sam nodded as she took his arm, her warm skin strange to him still since as a ghost he had no natural body heat. That would never change since he was dead and while he could just kill her it would be interesting to keep her as human. It was more beneficial if she were a ghost as the halfa could never have her back but for some reason the male wanted to keep her as human. They exited the room, the large male throwing the blonde a final look before closing and locking the door.
Sorry for the late update, but had a lot going on. The updates may not be oft but I will update whenever I can. Thank you to those who have stuck w/ the story!
