Fighting.
That's… what I've been doing for awhile now.
Noooo… not awhile. All the time. Everday. Practically everyday I've been doing something that involves fighting in some way, from training, working out, planning, tinkering, researching. Just… everything I do has always been for the sole reason or even remotely tied to helping me fight.
And I'm tired of it.
'So tired.'
My body isn't tired but my mind is just so exhausted it hurts. Helping Steven with Centi was a nice change but… seeing her so sad at the loss of her crew was just… it was eye-opening in a way. I have too many enemies right now and I just need to do something that'll limit that.
But first, I have some stuff to grab. Stuff that's… long overdue.
Elsewhere at Funland, Steven, Amethyst and Peridot, who is carrying her newly acquired tablet, go to enter the carnival as they stand in front of the sign.
"Ta-da! Welcome to Funland!" Steven with a small flourish of his hands indicates to his two friends.
"You brought me to a sign." Peridot points out, not really seeing the connection between the sign and the carnival nearby.
"Nah, nah. You got to go inside." Amethyst clarifies and motions them inside. As they go in and admire the different stalls and rides, its when they see the roller coaster in action, and the people screaming, do they focus their attention.
"Hehehe. A speed pattern transportation circuit." Peridot chuckles and gets… technical on the ride.
"And a roller coaster." While Steven dumbs it down.
"You've got to do the most fun thing in Funland first." Amethyst proposes they do.
Peridot ponders this thought for a moment. "Hmm. Bold. Let's follow this logic!" She enthusiastically agrees. With a consensus given, all three of them run up the Appalachian ride as a bell dings.
"Three, please." Steven requests to Mr. smiley.
"Sure. We got some new rules, first." Before he can give them access to the potentially dangerous ride, he shows them the new rule of their height needing to being measured in order for the trio to be eligible to ride the Appalachian.
"Uh…"
"Uck." Both Steven and Amethyst are saddened or disappointed in not being the minimal height requirement for the ride
Peridot however smiles widely in triumph seeing as her head manages to hit past the marker. Mr. Smiley however questions her exact height and decides to push down her large hair to show her actual height, which does not meet the requirement. "Graaa!" Which aggravates Peridot from being touched and throws a tantrum, flailing her arms in the air and growling all the while.
"Ha-ha! Sorry, guys. Looks like this squad has some growing to do before you can ride." Mr. Smiley unfortunately tells them, baring admission to the ride.
"I do not have to grow. This height is indicative of my rarity and importance. I demand entry, you CLOD!" Peridot is quite angry at the denial of the ride.
"Eh-hem. You kids want another lifetime ban?" He threatens them.
"No thanks, Mr. Smiley." Steven quickly begins to usher them out.
"Shorty Squad out." Amethyst says and move out.
"Good! Because your friends money isn't going to help if I get a lawsuit!" Mr. Smiley shouts to them as they go, in reference of Marcus's actions and attempts in the past of helping his brother with the carnival owner by paying off damages. He has a lot of money.
Anyway, without the ability to gain entry into the ride, Steven, Amethyst, and Peridot leave the area with the Appalachian.
"Well, that stinks." Amethyst grumbles as she unceremoniously picks her nose.
"Yeah, I wonder what else we could do to get on- Oh hey look there's Marcus." Steven begins to say before going off topic and pointing to where his brother is. Both gems look up to where he is pointing too to see him standing on a nearby water tower a few buildings away. "HEEEEYYYY! MARRRCUUUSS!" Steven shouts and yells to his fellow hybrid. He doesn't seem to notice as he only seems focused on grabbing something off the top. It's long and thin and once he grabs it, they watch as he jumps off the tower, followed by a dull boom they hear and a small dust cloud appear.
"What do you think he's doing?" Amethyst asks.
"Something important." Peridot says. Once she says that, she notices the others looking at her expectantly like she knows something, when really she doesn't. "What?! Isn't he always doing something important?"
"…"
"…" Both Aemthyst and Steven go to say something before they begin to think.
"Eh." But they don't think for long as they shrug and refocus their efforts on how to circumvent the height requirements.
"Got it." I mutter to myself as I slip my rifle into my duffel bag. Already I have a few weapons inside the bag as it is.
I've had guns stashed all over the town since Jasper and Peridot arrived in Beach City and its been a long overdue necessity for me to get them back.
Reason being is just my paranoia has always… just… gotten the better of me.
"Haaaa." I let out a sigh and zip up my bag before slinging it over my shoulder, dusting myself off of some dirt and begin walking off to the next hiding spot. 'No more… just… no more of this.' If I'm going to do what I'm going to do, then it's about time I stop preparing for an army to attack me everyday and actually take a moment to think.
And to be honest, in the back of my mind, just that little tick, that little voice of doubt that always kept telling me again and again that maybe, just maybe, someone in town might find one of my guns and will call the cops. Then things will get complicated from there, especially if they find one of my more… explosive or high powered weapons and then more than likely the feds would get involved for fear of terrorists or whatever I don't know.
It was a small voice but one that never ceased in my head no matter how many times I tried to reason or reassure myself everything would be fine.
Finally grabbing these guns has given me such a peace of mind now. And that's only just a few of them for now. I still have plenty more to go.
Few hours later, while Marcus is off scouring for his armaments, the gems and hybrid ran into an oddity after some of them used their shapeshifting to board the ride, much to Mr. Smiley's oblivious nature considering he didn't question how Steven and Amethyst suddenly gained several inches to feet in height. Peridot hasn't or is not able to shapeshift whatsoever so instead of trying to do more at the carnival, all three have tried different ways in order to spur the green engineers powers to work with little progress.
After many unsuccessful attempts, the newly dubbed shorty squad begin to ponder more on how to help Peridot with her shapeshifting while said gem is currently on the beach sandy ground, tired from the attempts… and having been smacked in the face by a ball version Amethyst.
"Uh, okay. Maybe we just have to activate it manually. You grab her feet. I'll grab the arms." Amethyst proposes she and Steven do as one last ditch effort.
"Okay." Seeing no fault in the idea and no arguments from Peridot, he agrees and grabs her arms.
"Ready? Pull." With a heave, both of them begin to pull the green gem in opposite directions.
"Ow." Much to Peridots discomfort and pain.
"Is it working?" Steven asks.
"Ow." Peridot mutters in pain, unemotionally.
"I think so. Pull harder!"
"Ow."
"I think I just heard a crack."
"Ow."
"That's her powers opening, Steven."
"Ow, ow, ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow! Drop me now!" Finally Peridot feels the pain and requests them to let go. Which they do, making her grunt as plops on the sand. "This isn't going to work." She says, slightly muffled from her face in the sand.
"Maybe if we keep trying…" Steven proposes they do but Peridot cuts him off as she gets up.
"No." She states and walks closer to the shore of the beach. "My lack of skill is an objective fact." She begins to say and explain in a somber tone while looking at the water. "I'm an Era-2 Peridot. I am new. Resources are dwindling on Homeworld. They can't make Gems like they used to. That's why they give Era-2 Peridots technological enhancements because we… don't have powers."
Once she finishes speaking, both Steven and Amethyst stare at the depressed gem for a few seconds at the information, until Amethyst walks forward and in front of her. "Per, I'mma be really real with you for a sec. This whole time we've been here, you've just been focusing on what you can't do. Of course you're not having any fun." While Amethyst tries to make her feel better, Peridot is not so much willing to full on listen as she begins typing on her tablet. "You think that all you are is who you could be, but we don't hang out with you because of who you could be. We like you." While it's a nice sentiment she says, Peridot is still focused on her device, much to the purple gems ire. "I know you just heard me." Peridot continues to act like she's not listening to her, however her frustration is building as a result, as evident by the fourteen repeated word 'CLOD' she is posting to the social media site 'Cheep'. "Stop playing with that thing. Ugh. Gimme that!" Amethyst has had enough and rips the tablet from Peridot's hands, as well as from her makeshift taped arm holder.
"NO!" Peridot protests and tries to get her device back.
"You don't need it!" Amethyst doesn't want to give it back.
"You don't know that!"
"Yes… I… Do!" Finally Amethyst gets some distance and moves closer to the water.
"Wait! Wait-wait-wait-wai-w-w-w-wait!" Peridot pleads in vain as she already knows exactly what the purple gem is going to do. With a mighty heave, Amethyst throws the tablet to the ocean without any means of the device hitting anything dry. "NO! IT'S ALL THAT I AM!" With one final desperate move, Peridot throw her hands forward to catch the device, even though it is completely out of her reach. At the same time she closes her eyes, unable to watch as the closest technological device she has enjoyed using since she lost her limb enhancers is about to be destroyed in a splash of earth water.
*…*
But no splash comes forth. Slowly, she peaks her eyes open and she and her friends stare in abject awe and surprise as they see the tablet floating in the air. Floating… above the water.
"Peridot… Metal powers!" Steven loudly and happily declares at the revelation they just found out. Peridot… the green engineer gem that apparently didn't have any powers whatsoever is now showing off the ability to control metal objects.
"…Dude." Even Amethyst is in awe at what she's seeing.
Peridot lets out a series of giggles at her newfound power and begins to gesture the tablet to come back to her and out of the possibility of falling in the water.
"Do you know what this means?" All the while as Steven talks about the possible scenarios for Peridot's metal powers. "You can open really tight jars. You can remove staples without a staple remover. You can open doors without having to touch them after you wash your hands." He thinks small time on what she could do as he paces around.
"No! I know exactly what I can do." The new user of metal controlling powers however thinks of a much better idea on how to use her powers, as well as one other spectator.

For now, Peridot just dropped the last ring on the line of bottles in the ring tossing game she and the others lost earlier, and then won a meager reward for it. While Mr. Smiley is sleeping, no doubt tired after having to prevent Onion from setting fire to his establishment… again, Peridot levitated all ten rings onto the bottle neck while he was out of it.
"10! That's 10!" She happily states as she taps the call bell repeatedly, the loud ringing and dinging waking the sleeping man.
"Wah!" Mr. Smiley wakes with a start before noticing the 10 rings on the bottle necks. "That's 10, alright! Well, I guess you won fair and square, or fair and triangle." He jokes a little at Peridots hairdo. "Because your head looks like a triangle." He laughs at his own joke but she just wants the prize she worked for. "Here you go, kid." Grabbing the big alien stuffed toy, he gives it to her.
Peridot, with open arms, embraces and hugs the rewarded toy for a job well done on her part. "Hehe, You did it, Peridot." Steven congratulates her.
"Give it up for Pea-Pod!" Amethyst joins in at the accomplishment as well.
For a second, Peridot is silent as she thinks on something that was told to them before. "No, give it up for the Shorty Squad." She says with a smile. This gives them all a good laugh and smiles all around.
Even Marcus as he watches from nearby. He saw what happened from a distance with Peridot and her powers. Having been walking down the boardwalk when he noticed them on the beach in a rather somber mood, it was when he was the floating the tablet that really threw him for a loop and decided to tail them quietly. He lets out a small smile of his own before he lets out a sigh and walks off. 'Good work Peridot.' He looks at the sun and sees it might be time soon for dusk to roll in. Taking a quick look in his bag of armaments, he nods his head. 'Enough for today. More tomorrow.'
With that final thought, he heads on home with the decision to work on more of what he needs to do.
A few days later, I have spent much of the time getting all my gear and equipment from around town, an action that finally leaves me with a bit of peace in my mind after so long. I've also been hard at work at my home finalizing the last of what I want to do as well but that's something to talk about for later.
For now as I walk to another location, I begin to contemplate on just what this action I plan might entail. 'Okay, this may be the stupidest plan I will have every done… or the most quiet and successful I have ever done. In truth, most of my plans and actions, both when I was alone and with the gems have practically always been loud, violent and not subtle whatsoever more often than not. This… this may be different from what I'm usually comfortable with… but violence begets violence, as the saying goes. And I'm tired of constantly dealing with the Iron Kings constant looming over my shoulder and the attack on Empire City was a wakeup call.'
I let out a frustrated sigh at the memory of what happened. The driving, the crashing, shooting… and then Lapis and I getting shot. I talked with her about it when we were alone and asked her how she felt.
She didn't like getting her formed destroyed, nor her gem getting broken again, but she was more relieved that I was okay, same with Steven, and that they aren't here attacking us. She doesn't want to pursue them. She doesn't want revenge for herself, just that if I want it she'll help me deal with them.
That… got me thinking, among other things I learned living in the short time I had spent with those people in the alley.
In my thinking, I've already go a couple more guns and only need a few more left. I move into a nearby bush as I hear Sadie yelling at Lars before digging around a little and grabbing my gun I kept hidden. Digging a little on the side of the base roots section, I reach down and pull out a sealed bag with a Glock 17 set to full auto with a few extended magazines to go with it. I smile as I see the bag hasn't been compromised so theirs no form of deterioration for the gun, the magazines or the bullets. I stand up out of the bush and begin walking back home as Lars and a bunch of people are running.
I pay them no mind. 'It's obvious the blackmail isn't as much of threat to them if they attacked me directly. In fact, they might still think I'm dead after the explosion I went through and the amount of gunshots they hit my vehicle with. However they aren't dumb that's for sure if they were able to track so many times with so many resources. They'll eventually find out I'm still alive. Most likely from the fact that they haven't found my destroyed car or my body for that matter. I have to head them off first before they think to make another attempt on me. I've been getting lucky that I've been surviving these attacks… but with each one they get closer and closer to home, and closer to those I care about.'
I find myself walking along the beach in silence as I make it to the beach house. Slowly, I trudge up the steps with passive neutral look on my face, the same face I've adopted since I've started gathering everything. 'I can't let this continue.' I think one final time as I push open the door. The sound of yelling and possibly screaming halts as I make my way over to the kitchen island counter. I hear someone say something but I'm too focused on getting the last of my weapons. I climb onto the counter and jump off the countertop island before I grab the gun I have hidden on a beam above. It's a slim sniper rifle but I don't bother naming it. As I grab it and put it in my bag, I notice that Lars, Sadie, Steven, and a bunch of other people I've met before and others I haven't are all standing around Stevens bed. Everyone stares at me awkwardly, as well as surprise when the saw the gun but I pay them no mind. "Marcus?" Steven asks confused at what I'm doing but I remain silent. I give a slight wave to him before I step off the counter and reach under it and grab the submachine gun under the counter. This gets a reaction out of some of the people I still don't care about them. They're not the priority or of importance for me right now. Stowing the last of my guns in my bag, I let out a breath of relief that now, the last of my hidden weapons not in my own home are retrieved.
The weighted feeling that has been lifted from my shoulders is one I didn't know how good it would feel until I actually did it. Bringing it over my shoulder, I walk over to the warp pad and warp back to my house carrying the last duffel bag filled with guns.
As soon as I go through the door, I spot Ace playing around with one of the few droids I have activated in my home. While the rest mill about, the one Ace is playing with is in its ball form so he pats and pushes the little guy with his paws and nose, making him roll around every which way. He stops as soon as he spots me, panting and wagging his tail as he sees me. "Good boy." I say to him as I walk by him, patting and rubbing his head before dropping the bag off in one of my spare rooms. Once I do, I lock it up tight with multiple locks and head into another while Ace goes back to playing. The new room I enter is a modest looking office like area and planning room, with a desk, some small tables, dry erase boards, a high speed PC computer with a massive processing power and storage, and a rolling chair. Ending it all is a couple bookcases that move to the sides in the classic style of having a hidden elevator behind them. As soon as I close the door, I get into my elevator and head down into my base. The ride down is steady, a little noisy but overall with a silent mood for myself as I make no noise in the descent. Eventually, I make it to the bottom and step off the elevator.
This place… this place I built, was meant to be a complete fallout shelter/bunker against anything that could be thrown at it. Completely reinforced walls at every turn so no one can dig through from the cliff and bust through from any point in my base, its own power supply from the crystal power source I got from the Kindergarten thanks to Peridot, lockdown settings, hidden compartments to hide and store weapons just in case my base gets breached, almost a dozen rooms ranging from small storage rooms for big gear such as the deactivated bipedal Robonoids from Peridots ship, who are basically going to be my droids when or if I get them working, Peridots deconstructed escape pod, her limb enhancers, to larger rooms used for weapons testing, tech and research labs I'll use to make new items and gear, assembly lines and finally my biggest rooms that I use to fix, maintain and upgrade my vehicles, large enough to even hold a plane inside it.
I stand right now in the main hall area that connects to the various rooms as well as the staircases that lead higher or lower and deeper into my base. When I first made this place, I intended for it to be strong enough to withstand an army, and efficient enough to sustain one. With the possibility of the corrupted gems continuously cropping up and the varying sizes they come in, I wanted gear to take them down with ease and little trouble. When Homeworld was coming into the picture, I wanted a place to retreat to in case they decided to do aerial bombardment first and ask questions later. But when the Iron Kings came into the picture, I needed resources in order to go head to head with them should need be.
Repurposing and restructuring Peridots robonoids made all this possible. This base and home that would cost millions upon millions to make, countless hours, days to weeks, months of work and so much land shifting in order to get it even feasible was made possible because I was able to stop that EMP device and Garnet from destroying them. I broke through their encryptions.
After staring at it all for what feels like forever, seeing my droids I left on to keep the place maintained, I look to the side. In silence I press my hand against a clear screen. When it gives me the confirmation, I grab the lever that juts on the side wall… and pull it down.
'And I will shut it all down.'
In an instant, everything stops. All the humming machinery on standby stops at once, so do my droids. They slip into their ball storage forms as lights begin to turn off one after another. First from the deepest depths, from the farthest away until the only light illuminating is the one right here at the elevator. With one final look, I step into the elevator and ascend upwards. The last light turns off when the doors close.
I breathe out deeply as I keep myself in silence as I go up. My mind is going through several thoughts at once right now, some arguing that what I'm doing may be somewhat stupid, it'll put me in a vulnerable position and so on; others say its time to stop fighting, stop with all the paranoia, no one is going to attack me at every turn and so on.
Despite how all the voices tell me differently, that doesn't stop me from stepping off the elevator, sitting at my desk and pulling up all my data I have on the Iron Kings. Everything from the locations I've been taken to, where I remember they've been to and possible operating locations, as well as a complete compilation of all the names of everyone associated with the organization, from politicians, members directly from multiple countries governments, primarily in the US, as well as several business and munition companies that supply them.
All of it is completely compiled right before my eyes, no other backup servers or copies placed anywhere else.

*…Deleting…*
And just like that, its all gone. The blackmail I had on them has just been purged.
'You may have just made the biggest mistake of your life.'
And just like that, the thoughts come back negative on me. I groan as I rub my head and take in the fact I just deleted the names of a ton of people connected to them that would sink their entire group.
Except I don't know the leaders name… but I still have his number.
Picking up the hardline phone I have set up, I dial in the number directly to him and wait for a few seconds for it to ring. Eventually, I get the automated message for me to leave a message for him. Honestly, this is a better alternative than just talking to him directly.
When its ready and I hear the beep, I speak. "Hey. Been a long time since we last spoke. Don't know why you couldn't come to the phone right now but I don't really mind. Actually prefer it this way. Right now I just want to lay some stuff on the table between us… or actually, clear the table more likely." I take in a deep breath before exhaling and continue speaking. "We're done. Me, you, the Iron Kings as a whole, we're done with anything from having to do with each other in any way. That attack you did on me in Empire City… as you can obviously tell when listening to this that your men failed, despite the explosion they saw. Normally, because you violated our agreement and attacked not only me but members of my family and people care VERY deeply about, I would have released all the information I have on you as soon as I got home and break your entire organization… But I didn't.
"Frankly, I'm tired of this. I'm tired of having to deal with your group even though I have your information. So here's what's going to happen. I'm washing my hands of you, and you can forget all about me. As you said, it was your underling that screwed with me, which in turn made me screw with you all. Without him, theirs nothing else tying us together and I think we can both agree that we might be tired of each other at this point. I've deleted all the blackmail information I have on your group. All the evidence I have on your peoples individual names, your base locations, the different companies and government officials that back you, all gone. Deleted and purged everything of all access for me. I don't have any off site data storing, no back up drives whatsoever. I don't have anything on you anymore.
"That is to say, while I don't have anything on you, you know how powerful I am, and how persistent I am at staying alive no matter how many men, guns or cars you throw at me. We both know you only have so many resources, and stay in the dark for so long. Your most recent attack left much of Empire City a crime scene and I'm sure the body's will lead to somewhere. You have bigger things to worry about than me." I lean forward, pressing my arms onto the table while staring straight ahead, my focus set not on what's in front, but on my own voice. "Leave. Me. Alone. I will not contact you again. You will not send me anymore money. I will not request anymore items, gears, or supplys from you at all under any circumstances." I lean back and stare at the ceiling. "From now, we don't know each other… and we never will."

Like a flip that has been switched, as soon as the phone is placed down, that part of my life is done. I close my eyes and think. 'If I keep the blackmail with me and they know I have it, then they'll constantly be thinking about me, wondering when or if I'll make good on the blackmail and expose them and every one of their conspirators. That constant thought is something I don't want them to have of me anymore or ever, nor do I of them. I want the both of us to forget each other, without fighting and no other strings. Theirs been enough blood in this world.' I stand up and slowly make my way to the living room. I decide to at least leave a few of my droids up here with me for general purposes such as repairs when need be. For now though, Ace has lost interest and simply lays on the couch. When I enter the scene though, this perks him up as he stares at me. "Hey boy." I greet him as I sit down on the couch. He immediately scoots himself over and lays his front paws and head on my lap and just lays there. I smile at this and simply pet his head softly as we both just sit here in silence.
After a bit, I can't help but stare back at the door that leads to my entrance back into my base. 'I will go back down… eventually.' I let out a long-winded breath of air… and smile.
"MARCUS!" Suddenly, my brother comes barreling through the door screaming my name. This spooks Ace into getting off me and the couch but calms down once he sees who it is. "Marcus!'
"Steven, what is it?" I ask him calmly. Normally when he's screaming like this I would be more concerned dependent on his tone but right now he's got a big grin on his face.
"Something that he wants to tell all of us at once apparently." Garnet answers as she too enters, followed by Pearl and Amethyst.
"Really?" I ask to no one in particular but Steven nods all the same as I sits on the couch.
"Really. After he came back from the Big Donut, he insisted that we all come together so he can explain how he has a new power." Pearl quickly informs me as she sits down on the arm rest of the couch.
"Well, its not really a new power. More like… an upgrade."
"An upgrade?" Amethyst asks confused as she plops herself on the ground while Garnet remains standing.
"Yeah. You see, I was sleeping, thinking really hard…" He begins to explain. Truth be told, the conversation and long winded explanation becomes white noise for me as I can't help but smile at my brother and the others. As I watch the gems keep their focus on my brothers excited explanations as to what happened, I'm reminded again of exactly why I fought so much all the time and why I barely take any rest or recuperation. Because these people around me right now are the ones I am willing to risk life and limb for in a moments notice. However I'm also reminded of the fact that while they can be my crutch to help keep me up, the Iron Kings proved at Empire City that if I'm not careful on who I make my enemy or if I'm not careful in general, then they could be taken from me in a moments notice. 'The Diamonds are a threat, no doubt about that. Can't do anything about that, but my human enemies… they're something I can deal with much easier… hopefully.' What I just did a few minutes is something big. Whether it really will pay off in the future will remain to be seen. "…And then I ended up in Lars's body."
"Wait what?" Annnnnnnd just like that my thoughts go out the window.
Hey everyone. Good to be working on this again. A bit of a shorter chapter than the usual ones I do but that's mostly because I've chunked down two episodes into this and revolved mostly around Marcus just gathering and speaking to himself you know. He's taken a big step now in deleting all the blackmail he had on his enemies and whether that will help him or bite him later on will remain to be seen.
Serius: The next chapter will reveal what he has planned. Whether it'll be a idea or not is reserved to yours and others opinions. Thank you and hope you and everyone else has a pleasant day too.
ChimaTigon: Thanks.
xXSpades231Xx: Thanks. Honestly, the thought has crossed my mind. I don't really do short stories. I don't know why but I always have this thing where I want to go big when it comes to making most of my stories and an RDR2 story would surely not be short. I already had a character made up in my mind, attitude, backstory, what he is to the group and so on. Even though I have all off it planned out, actually getting to write it would take quite a bit of time, time in which would be taken out of my other stories. Still, guess we'll see how things go.
Obsidian Phoenix: It is alright with the long review. I have no problem with the length and really I am both amazed and happy to hear how quickly you've pretty much read through my whole story at once. That goes to show I'm doing something good to keep you entertained the whole way through. For fusions, that's always been a gray area for me when it comes to actually doing them in my story but I think with the recent episodes that have been coming out, I just might start to come up with ideas for fusions but theirs no guarantee. I'd have to restructure some scenes and fights but we'll see how things turn out and how I feel about it all as things continue to progress.
Also I love how you mentioned Jazuli. Thank you for letting me use it.
You know, with the recent release of new episodes I've been hyped to continue working on this story so for now, I'm going to be putting the rest of my stories on hold while I focus all my efforts into getting over a few more chapters done for this story. I'm coming to a homestretch now in the next few chapters or so and really, I'm tired of stretching the time between these chapters so I'm gonna keep my focus on writing A Tale of a Jade while I'm still giddy, happy and freaking out over what we see and experience in the upcoming new episodes, especially with that special coming up. It's gonna be good I'm sure of it.
Also everyone, I've been hearing some different names thrown around for a certain green gem fusion that happened at the ball when the Crystal Gems all fused and they joined in. One of the more prominent names happens to be Jade. Now, as much as I like to keep to the atmosphere that Steven Universe puts out and rarely deviate it from what we see, don't worry, I got a plan for them if they are in fact confirmed by the show to be jades. I can make this work. Whatever this show throws at us, at me too, we can get through this.
Thank you all for your continued support. Go ahead and fave, follow, review, whatever you wish to do. Take care everyone, have fun reading, and make sure to have a great day.
Also, good luck to everyone going back to school.
