Bullets whiz past a destroyed car forcing Sensei to keep his head down behind it. The gray sky loomed over the city in shambles as gunpowder became the dominant element in the air. Automatic fire from the other end of the street are relentless in its focus at his position as several automata emerged in the end of the street and approached his only line of defense.

"A-PPrOaCHInG T-T-TarGEt!"

"LaYIng dOwn su-SUpPrESSinG FIRE!"

"DeS…TRoY TaRgeT!"

The mechanical yet distorted voices of the automata slowly became louder as they kept approaching Sensei's position. It was only a matter of time before they will have a clear line of sight to him. With no other nearby cover to run to with a mostly barren street except this lone car, Sensei is truly cornered.

"Think, Sensei. Think! How do I get out of this?"

In his right hand is his pistol, a Beretta 92 handgun. Sensei never had to use it before but with the situation becoming as it is right now, he's contemplating that he may have to fire it despite his reluctance in using it. Unfortunately for him…

"I don't think one magazine is going to cut it."

With a lull in suppressing fire from the automata, Sensei peeked over the hood. He counted 6 automata walking towards him, 3 on the left and 3 on right side of the street respectively. Even if he targets their faceplate, it'll take at least 3 shots just to disable one assuming he's able to precisely hit it. Things certainly aren't looking good for him.

*vwhhiiiirrr*

"Woah!"

A drone suddenly hovered behind of him with its cannons pointed towards him while he was peeking at the automata to his surprise. He instinctively dropped to the ground just in time to have its first volley miss his head by mere inches. Sensei raised his pistol and aimed it at the drone.

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

One of the bullets lodged itself in the drone's lens, disabling it and causing it to unceremoniously drop to the ground and disintegrate. Sensei heaved a sigh before turning his attention to the automata again. They are now less than twenty meters from the car he's hiding behind in. None of them are shooting him anymore but that doesn't make his situation any better.

"Twelve shots left. Gotta make it count…"

Sensei clutched his pistol in both hands as he can now hear their metallic footsteps almost beside him. There's nothing else he could do now but try to disable them once they get real close. There's no room for error if he commits to this…

There's no student with him right now…

Why did it have to be this way…

"TarGEt iN sIghT! P-pROceeDInG tO E-e-ELimI—"

*CLAAANG*

?!

The head of the first automata who walked past his cover had its head crumpled from a bullet followed by a distant gunshot. The other automata immediately spread out and back away, ignoring Sensei for the moment.

"HO-hOStiLE! 200 meTeRS!"

"SuPPResSiNG FiRE!"

The remaining automata began firing their rifles indiscriminately towards the other end of the street where the shot came. Sensei could no longer peek his head over again as they have now began firing again and in close proximity as well. Still, he heaved a sigh of relief. This could only mean one thing.

"RE-ReLOadiNG!"

"Nice timing!"

A high-pitched voice can be heard as a small figure ran into the street from a nearby alleyway just behind the automata focused in the other direction. Donning a predominantly pink-white color scheme including the cat ear headphones, she wasted no time as she aimed her G3 rifle at their backs.

"Eat this!"

At her pull of the trigger, she began sweeping their backs with automatic fire. Resonating clangs can be heard as the bullets hit the metallic body of each automata, effectively disabling them all before she ran out of ammo in her magazine.

…Well, almost all of them.

"HeavY Da-DAmagE! PRiorITy TaRGEt E-e-e-EliMINaTIOn!"

One automata is still left standing albeit missing its left arm. Knowing that it's outgunned, it chose to run towards Sensei's position in a last-ditch attempt to gun him down.

"Momoi, thanks for the help!"

"Sensei, there's still one more! W-wait up!" Momoi warned as she fumbled for a spare magazine.

"Eh?"

"FIriNg!"

Bullets started flying over and into the hood of the car forcing Sensei to keep his head down. The automata is now firing wildly as it is moving to flank his cover and get a clear shot. Moving towards the next close pile of rubble, the automata is now preparing itself for another volley of fire.

"Sensei!"

A voice rang out from behind Sensei this time. Turning around, he saw a figure dashing towards his position. Her gray twintails fluttered as she jumped to quite a height while simultaneously aiming her bolt action rifle at the automata.

"Stay down!" she exclaimed as she pulled the trigger.

*BANG*

The automata dropped to the ground, unable to react in time as its faceplate shattered from a high power bullet. Sensei watched as the figure landed just in front of him. He looked up at the face of his savior.

"That was close. Thanks, Iori!"

Sensei stood up as he sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. Iori simply closed her eyes with a disappointed expression. Shouldering her rifle, she walked over to Sensei to look him over.

"Geez, Sensei. I don't know how you can be so lax after that. Look at yourself," Iori scolded him as she pointed at his left arm.

Looking at where Iori is pointing at, Sensei saw that his upper arm had been grazed by a bullet. Surprisingly, he didn't feel it sting one bit as he rubbed his arm.

"Huh, I didn't feel that. That's actually kind of cool."

"C-cool?! You think getting hurt is cool?! Are you an idiot or something?" Iori was taken aback by his statement.

Sensei smiled as Iori looked at him in exasperation. At least he knows Iori gets worried about him as well. He does wish she relaxes a bit more right now.

"It's okay. After all, this is just—"

"Sensei! Glad you're okay!" Momoi called out to him as she approached the downed automata, "Isn't this kinda weird though?"
Sensei paused for a bit before gesturing Iori to come with him as they walked over to Momoi. With a curious look on his face, they all checked out the automata. Seeing that the bodies are still here, he does find it odd that they haven't disintegrated by now upon being damaged enough.

"Do you think maybe the programming is faulty?" Momoi pondered as she crouched besides one of the automata and lifted a piece of its arm.

Iori walked over besides Momoi as she looked them over, "I don't know what the programming has to do with them but more importantly, Sensei!" Iori then turned towards Sensei again, looking more than eager to give him a piece of her mind, "You shouldn't disregard being shot just because—"

*beep* *beep* *beep*

"Huh?"

"Eh?"

Everyone looked around upon hearing a beeping sound, confused as to where it is coming from. They soon realized that the beeping came from below them, specifically

"Activating last resort program"

Suddenly, the chestplate of the automata they're looking at opened up, revealing a bright red orb. Sensei's blood ran cold upon realizing what this could be. Iori and Momoi merely gazed at it, wondering what it is.

"What is that thing?" Iori said as she looked at the orb.

"Oooh! Is this like a rare loot? Lucky!" Momoi happily exclaimed as she reached out to pick it up.

"Momoi! Wait!"

Sensei shouted to warn her. Unfortunately, it was too late. Momoi is now holding the red orb as she stared at it in awe.

"Sensei! Look at this! It's pretty coo—"

*BOOOOOOM!*

A massive explosion rocked the street with the trio located right at its center. The last thing that they saw was the bright flash that annihilated them. Everything soon faded to darkness.

GAME OVER

Would you like to continue?

Yes

No

"I should probably get up now…"

Opening his eyes, Sensei could see the sleek white ceiling of the room he is in. He sat up from the bed he was laying down on as he familiarized himself again with his senses and surroundings. There are computer terminals beside his bed and other machinery he is not familiar with. All of which are currently connected to the rather bulky headgear he has on right now. After confirming that it is now powered off, he took off the headgear and got off the bed to get his jacket by the nearby office chair. Picking it up and putting his arms through the sleeves of his jacket, the door to his room opened up, revealing Iori and Momoi arguing as they walked inside.

"You shouldn't go around touching things you have no idea about!" Iori scolded Momoi as she gave her the side-eye.

"But it was shiny and shiny things are valuable in RPG games!" Momoi rebutted as she pouted at Iori.

Noticing that Sensei is already up and looking at both of them, Iori immediately composed herself. Momoi however…

"Sensei! Listen to this. Iori-senpai here doesn't know what it means to be a true gamer! Everyone knows you should always pick up shiny objects since they could be valuable to use or sell later!" Momoi explained with a glint of annoyance in her eyes while pointing at Iori.

One could see an imaginary anger vein pop up on Iori's head as she crossed her arms and argued back, "And look where that got us earlier! That's why you shouldn't be careless even if it's a game. What if something like that happened in reality as well? You can't just come back like it's nothing!"

"I-I'm more careful in real life! No need to tell me what to do in games!" Momoi shot back as she now engaged in a glaring contest with Iori, neither of them giving way to the other.

The atmosphere in the room became heavy with the tension between the two. Sensei let out a worried smile as he tried to appease both of them.

"Ummm…"

"SENSEI!"

Both of them called out to him before he could say anything. They're both now looking at him with fiery determination in their eyes as they pointed at the other.

"Which of us are correct with this?"

"Which one of us is right?"

They declared as they wait with bated breath as to what Sensei's response will be. For Sensei, he knew that this is not just a matter on whose opinion is right but rather this will be akin to choosing which student he favors more in their eyes. He had to make a very careful decision right here.

"Well…"

Iori and Momoi focused their attention now at Sensei, not even minding the other beside them. Sensei opened his mouth once again to speak.

"I still had fun earlier regardless. I won't speak out as to what any of you personally prefer to go with since everyone has different ways of having fun."

Silence followed Sensei's statement as both Iori and Momoi wore deadpan expressions on their faces. Sensei had to choose the middle ground option as usual when it comes to his students.

"Sensei, that's a kinda lame answer. Is this what you choose in RPG choices?" Momoi sighed as she facepalmed.

"Hmph! To think that Sensei is indecisive when it comes to this. An adult like yourself should have more conviction in their choices." Iori pouted as she crossed her arms again while glaring at Sensei.

Sensei gave an awkward chuckle as he walked towards them. Well, he does believe that his students should be able to have fun in their own way. Although…

"If I really had to pick though, I would have definitely picked that orb up if I didn't figure out what it was. You can't just resist flashy things when playing video games!"

"Woohoo! I knew that you'll get it, Sensei!" Momoi happily exclaimed as she held out her hand for a high five which Sensei reciprocated.

"Tsk…" Iori clicked her tongue in annoyance, "Considering Sensei, I should have seen this coming. I shouldn't have agreed to come here."

"So Iori does feel insecure sometimes."

Sensei couldn't help but tease Iori upon seeing her disappointed face. Iori was a bit taken aback by it before regaining her composure.

"I-insecure!? Where do you even get that idea, Sensei?" Iori asked as she put on a menacing glare at Sensei.

Sensei avoided the question as he nonchalantly whistled while walking towards the door. He beckoned the two students to follow him. After all, he does need to give feedback for the game and the headgear they used.

The three of them are now walking along a bustling corridor in the Industrial Center of the Millennium Science School. Students in long coats or jackets go about through their daily activities in the different sectors of the building, occasionally bumping into them.

"This place is quite busy. Gehenna probably has less machines than this building alone." Iori pondered as she looked around.

"Of course! The annual Industrial Creation Competition is coming up this month. I can't wait to see what they'll come up this year!" Momoi chimed in as she explained this to Iori.

Iori nodded along with Momoi's explanation. To think that these two were arguing just a few minutes prior, Sensei couldn't help but smile. It didn't take long until they reach their destinantion with a sign marked on top of it.

Engineering Club Room

The automatic door opened up when Sensei stepped in front of it, revealing a messy workshop cluttered with machines and gadgets in every corner. Someone can be seen working on a workbench in the opposite side of the room as blue sparks lit up every couple of seconds. She didn't seem to notice them yet.

"Utaha, we're here."

Sensei called out to her. She stopped what she was doing as she turned around and raised her safety goggles.

"Ah, Sensei. How was the experience?" Utaha asked as she wiped the sweat from her forehead.

"It was—"

"Utaha-senpai! That something-Reality machine was so awesome! It's like travelling to a different dimension!" Momoi jumped in the conversation as she gave her praises.

"Glad to hear that, Momoi. Also, it's called the Nerve-Gaming-Reality Machine for now. The name is still awaiting approval." Utaha said as she set down her tools on the workbench, "Anyway, I'm glad you have the time to test out the NGRM along with other students, Sensei."

"Glad to be of help."

"Also, if you don't mind, Sensei," Utaha walked over to her desk and pulled out a form, "Can you leave the feedbacks in these forms? The client wants to see written feedback as well. You can give it to me later in the day once you're done."

Utaha walked over to Sensei then to Momoi then Iori as she distributed the forms. She briefly paused upon reaching Iori as she looked her over.

"You must be Shiromi Iori-san? I'm Shiroishi Utaha, president of the Engineering Club. Thank you for taking your time to participate in this test as well." Utaha said as she handed her the form and bowed her head.

"I'm only here since Sensei insisted to invite me. Nice to meet you as well." Iori said as she accepted the form.

"I see… It is still appreciated nonetheless," Utaha turned towards Sensei and Momoi as she waved them goodbye, "I'll still be here once you guys are done with the form. I'll see you later!"

"See yah, Utaha-senpai!" Momoi cheerfully waved back before walking out of the door followed by Sensei and Iori as they waved back as well.

"Ehhh… the campus is bigger than I thought." Iori pondered as she took in the various sights of the campus.

"I know right! That's why the monorail is such a blessing. Walking is such a drag around here," Momoi exclaimed as she pointed at the various sights.

The trio are now on the path towards the Millennium Tower, the central building of the Millennium Science School. With height rivalling that of skyscrapers in the D.U. and its azure blue windows reflecting the sky of Kivotos, it is easily the most recognizable landmark of the school. No other students can be seen on the path right now as classes are now in schedule but with special appointment with SCHALE, Momoi and Iori can accompany Sensei without worrying about their classes.

"If that's the case, why aren't we taking the monorail then if it's so convenient?" Iori couldn't help but ask since they're now just walking to the tower.

Momoi frowned before she answered, "That's because there isn't a station near the Millennium Tower. You kinda just have to put up with it. Haaa…"

Momoi suddenly stopped walking as she sighed and sat down on the ground. Iori and Sensei stopped as well as they looked at her in confusion.

"Momoi, what are you doing?"

"Sensei, I can't make it anymore…" Momoi cried out as she clutched her stomach, "I only had chips this morning…"

Iori looked at her with a deadpan expression while Sensei crouched down beside her.

"Momoi, you're being childish right now. You obviously still have enough energy to walk." Iori chided Momoi as she looked down on her.

"But—"

"Aren't you the one who wanted us to go here to show me something? Also, didn't you say so yourself that we should just put up with it? Come on, get up now." Iori said as she grabbed Momoi's arm and pulled her up.

"What a pain…" Momoi reluctantly stood up before turning to Sensei, "Sensei… can you give me a piggyback ride?"

"Wha—" Iori did a double take at Momoi's request, "What are you saying right now?!"

"Sure. No problem."

Sensei, on the other hand, casually accepted Momoi's request to her leaving a bewildered Iori staring at him. He turned his back to Momoi and crouched down with his hands behind his back.

"Here you go."

"Oi! Sensei!" Iori called out to him with a disgusted look on her eyes, her rifle pointed at him, "I can't believe you're doing something like this in front of me. I won't let you do this in behalf of the Disciplinary Committee, pervert."

"Eh? Eehhhh?" Momoi slightly panicked seeing Iori holding Sensei at gunpoint.

Sensei remained oddly calm despite this. He stood up and faced Iori as he held out a hand in Momoi's direction.

"Don't worry, Iori. I have no intent nor am I thinking of something weird. If you don't trust me, you can carry Momoi in a piggyback yourself."

"Tsk…" Iori thought about it for a moment before holstering her rifle, "Fine…"

Iori walked over to Momoi and offered her back to her to Momoi's confusion.

"Iori-senpai?"

"Here, I won't let that pervert get in physical contact with another student." Iori said as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Thanks!" Momoi accepted as she placed her legs through the loops of Iori's arms.

"Hng…" Iori lifted up Momoi who is now on her back, "Just be glad it isn't that pervert of a Sensei putting his hands on you."

"Hehehe…" Momoi giggled as she placed her hands on Iori's shoulders, "I'm now an escort quest NPC! Onwards, mighty hero!"

Iori sighed as they now continued their walk to the Millennium Tower. Sensei let them pass him before secretly taking out his phone to take a quick picture of the two. He's sure to cherish this amusing picture. Maybe he should send this to the two later over Momotalk.

"Here we are!" Momoi exclaimed as she got off Iori's back.

The two of them are now standing in front of a door in a hallway. Sensei has gone off at a different floor for a meeting with the Seminar, leaving them to go off on their own in the meantime. The sign besides the door reads:

Game Development Club Room

"Game Development? So this is what your club does?" Iori asked as she looked over the sign.

"Yup! We make games and stuff like that. We even won the Millenium Prize Special Award earlier this year!" Momoi puffed her chest as she put on a smug grin.

"Ohh… you lot are better than I give you credit for," Iori commented in response.

Momoi was taken aback by her comment, "He-hey! What did you thought I was before?"

"A spoiled, reckless brat who makes light of danger for what you think is fun," Iori replied as she glared at Momoi.

"Ah… Ahhh…" Momoi was left speechless before shrugging it off and walking towards the door.

"A-anyway, you should meet my sister, Alice-chan, and Yuzu-chan as well! We can pass the time here as we wait for Sensei to come back." Momoi excitedly said as she proceeds to open the door.

"I'm baaack!" Momoi greeted upon entering the room.

Only to be greeted with absolute silence. The room is dimly lit with the curtains closed and there is no one is waiting for them inside. An awkward moment passed before Momoi's expression fell in disappointment.

"EEHHH?! They're not here?!" Momoi shouted as she looked around the room.

"So much for meeting the other members," Iori said as she observed the dark room, "Where's the light switch? It's quite dark in here."

Momoi fumbled for the light switch at her request. Turning on the lights, it revealed a fairly messy room with shelves containing various games and consoles, a bulletin board, and TVs and cluttered consoles in the middle of the room. While not as messy as the Engineering Club room, it would still probably give a neat freak an aneurysm.

"Ummm… so this is our club room. I was sure that atleast Alice-chan would be here. Where did they go?" Momoi pondered as she rummaged through the central mat while Iori looked around the room.

"Hmmm… Oh, Momoi," Iori called out as she pointed to a piece of paper taped to the shelf, "Looks like there's a note here for you."

"Huh, lemme check…" Momoi stood up and checked out the note.

-Nee-chan, Alice and I will be at the mall for more snacks and things for our clubroom in case we are still not here yet once you're back.

P.S. I'll be buying pudding for myself. Don't you dare steal it again, Nee-chan! I'll have my name on it this time! :(

"Ehhhh…" Momoi put on a deadpan expression after reading the note.

"Looks like I won't be able to meet the other members today. Let's just finish the feedback form for now," Iori said as she pulled out her feedback form, "Ah, do you have a pen here?"

"Ummm… should be here," Momoi fumbled through the shelf, "Ah, here you go."

Momoi gave Iori a spare pen before grabbing some nearby chips and another pen as she sat down beside her to fill out the form.

"Grrrr…" Momoi clenched her teeth as she unleashed yet another basic combo that was easily parried by the enemy. They then unleashed triple jabs, an uppercut, and an aerial axe kick combo, draining her character's health to zero.

ROUND 2

~IORI WINS~

"AHHHHHH!" Momoi shouted as she furiously shook her controller.

Besides her, Iori set down her controller as she stretched her arms, "Man, this is a better stress reliever than that game from that whatever machine they hooked us onto earlier."

Momoi dropped her controller before placing her hands on Iori's shoulders to shake her as well.

"WHHHHHYYYY!"

"He-Hey! What's the big deal!?" Iori spouted in annoyance as Momoi continued to shake her.

"I thought you said this is your first time playing this game?!" Momoi sniffled in between her statement, "How come you're better at this than me already?!"

"I- I don't know! GE-GET OFF ME!" Iori pushed Momoi away before she could rumple her uniform further.

"Geez, no need to be worked up over it so much. The game is just surprisingly easy," Iori said as she fixed her uniform.

"Sur… surprisingly easy… To think that a beginner can call the hardest installment of the 'Urban Fighters' easy…" Momoi briefly became sullen after hearing those words but she quickly recovered, "I'm sure there are other games Iori-senpai will not be good at!"

Silence filled the room for a moment as Iori adjusted her uniform while Momoi looked through her collection of games for something else to play. Picking out the games one by one, Momoi's eyes glimmered upon seeing a game in the back of the collection.

"Ah, try this one out next, Iori-senpai!" Momoi held out the game she found.

"Let me see…" Iori accepted the game and looked at its cover only to drop it upon seeing the title, "JOSHIKOUSEI ROMANCE 2?! Wha-what is this?!"

"Pffft! It's the game Midori has been playing recently. It's a dating sim." Momoi couldn't help but snicker at Iori's reaction.

"Da- da- dating sim!?" Iori blushed upon hearing the genre of the game, "There's no way I'm playing this game! As a member of the Disciplinary committee, I can't endorse these kinds of games that encourages such improper acts!"

"Ohhhh…" Momoi smirked as she thought up a plan, "So that means you admit defeat then against the Game Development club, captain of the Disciplinary Committee."

"Wha—" Iori was taken aback by Momoi's taunt, "I never accepted any kind of challenge. I don't need to play this!"

"Still, didn't you say with the previous games that they all have been easy? Then this should be easy for you as well!" Momoi continued in provoking Iori.

"Khhh… That's true… But—"

"Plus," Momoi continued, interrupting Iori, "Wouldn't this give you a better understanding of the 'improper acts' so you can do your job better? Come on, it wouldn't hurt to try!"

Iori grit her teeth while she thought about it. It's unthinkable for someone like herself to play this kind of game. Still, thinking about what Sensei could potentially do…

"Fine, I'll play it," Iori conceded as she picked up her controller, "Only for this time though! I'll never play this again!"

"All right!" Momoi cheered as she opened the cover and placed the game in the console, "Good luck, Iori-senpai!"

The afternoon sun is beginning to set as an orange tint bathed over Kivotos. Students all around the Millennium campus are either hanging out, going to their clubs, or going home. In one particular room of the Millennium Tower, two students are preoccupied in going through a big moment in their life.

Thank you for being with me through my troubles. I… I know what I'm about to say is wrong but… I love you so much, Iori-san!

Said students right now are currently speechless at the scene unfolding in front of them.

"H-h-how did this happen?" Iori blurted out as her hands shake from tension.

"To… to think that there's a secret route to this game that even Midori wasn't able to get but you're able to get on your first try… You're terrifying, Iori-senpai," Momoi placed her hands over her mouth in surprise.

"But that guy's our sensei! How could I know we actually get to date him here?! The game developers for this must be degenerates," Iori shouted as she let out her frustration.

"Shhh… wait, it looks like there's more." Momoi shushed Iori as she prompted her to continue.

*click*

Iori-san? Wait, are you crying? Sorry! I know it's quite sudden. Here, take my handkerchief.

No…

*click*

Eh?

It's just that sensei has been supportive of me even when my parents strongly disagreed. I couldn't ask for anything greater…

*click*

Sensei, I love you too…

"EEEEHHHHH!" Both of them exclaimed in surprise at the next dialogue option.

"Th-this game really is for degenerates! This needs to be removed!" Iori said in indignant manner as she dropped her controller then picked up her rifle.

"Iori-senpai, wait! Not the Plystation!" Momoi panicked as she covered the console from Iori's aim.

"Out of the way, that game doesn't deserve to exist!" Iori ordered as she kept her aim at the console.

"We can stop this right now, Iori-senpai! You don't need to play it anymore, just spare the Plystation!" Momoi cried as she now hugged the console, refusing to let go.

Iori kept a shaky aim over Momoi and the console before composing herself and lowering her rifle.

"Haaa…" Iori sighed while holstering her rifle, "At least I know now not to trust Sensei with these kinda things. I bet that pervert is thinking about—"

"We're back!"

A voice rang out as the door of the club room opened up, revealing Alice and Midori.

"Ah, Nee-chan." Midori called out as she placed the snacks down on the floor, "We got more Daritas and Mountain Tew for a game night later…"

Midori stopped mid-sentence when she saw Iori, currently standing over Momoi who's hugging a console. Alice is also staring at Iori with a curious expression.

"Wha- what is it?" Iori couldn't help but feel discomfort from their stares.

"Oooohhh!" Alice's eyes lit up upon hearing Iori speak, "We have a new party member! May I know your name?"

"Party member? Anyway, my name is Shiromi Iori. 2nd year, Captain of Gehenna's Disciplinary Committee."

"Gehenna's Disciplinary Committee!?" Midori stated in surprise.

"?" Alice tilted her head in confusion, "Who are they?"

Midori pulled Alice to her as she spoke in a low voice, "They're like the C&C with our school. I heard they're the really strong armed force of Gehenna."

"Really! Yey, we got a high level party member!" Alice clapped and cheered upon hearing this, much to Midori's dismay.

"Alice-chan, no, that's…" Midori facepalmed at Alice's reaction.

"Ehem…" Iori coughed to get their attention, "Anyway, I'm only here on Sensei's insistence so I'm not going to be your, what was that, party member."

Alice's cheery face slowly turned sad upon hearing this. Midori's face, however, lit up as if she remembered something.

"Speaking of Sensei, we did bump into him earlier." Midori explained as she pointed her thumb towards the door, "I think he said he's about to go here too. He should be here any moment now…"

"Iori? Momoi? You there?"

The door opened up again. This time revealing Sensei as he walked inside. Sensei saw that Midori and Alice has already beaten him here.

"Looks like you two beat me to here. Ah, Iori, Momoi, sorry that took a while. Let's go back to the Engineering Club room so we can submit the feedback forms."

Sensei called out to the two while he gave a headpat to Alice and Midori as a farewell to the both of them. Iori could only look at Sensei in disgust.

"Tsk… there goes Sensei, putting his hands on his students." Iori muttered under her breath.

"No need to worry about Sensei, Iori-senpai. Sensei has helped us a lot in the past," Momoi said as she stood up from hugging the console, "Midori! Can you clean this up and turn this off while we're gone?

"Nee-chan, you should clean up your own mess." Midori replied as she looked down on Momoi who's now pouting.

"Your younger sister has more sense than you, you should be more responsible as the elder sister—" Iori scolded Momoi only to step on her controller as she looked back at her.

*click*

"Ah…"

The TV screen which had been in sleep mode lit up upon receiving controller input, showing that the dating sim is still running.

"Sensei, I love you too…"

These five words from a voiced dating sim scenario echoed within the room, resonating within the eardrums of everyone inside.

Including Sensei…

"Ummm…"

Sensei was caught off-guard at the rather surprising statement even if it's from a game. He looked over at Iori who's now trembling and looking at the floor.

"Ah, I forgot the JOSHIKOUSEI ROMANCE 2 that Iori-senpai was playing is still running…" Momoi exclaimed, oblivious to the tense atmosphere now brewing in the room.

"Umm…Nee-chan," Midori fearfully spoke up, "I think you set up a death flag."

Upon hearing that, Sensei could only stand in fear as he saw Iori giving him a death glare. While he's already used to being stared at like a piece of trash by Iori, he never thought he'd be stared at by her with intent to kill.

"Ummm… a-ahhh… I remembered that I left something with the Seminar. You two can go ahead without me."

Sensei slowly backed out of the room as he nervously kept watch on Iori. For every step Sensei took back, Iori followed with a step forward with malicious intent. This went on until Sensei is now out of the room.

"Well, I'll be going now!"

Sensei took off in a full sprint once he stepped out of the room. Seeing Sensei take off prompted Iori to give chase as she let out a shout.

"SENSEI! GET BACK HERE!"

The Game Development Club members peeked out of the door as they could only wish for Sensei's safety.

"Ah, Sensei is going through an event. Do your best, Sensei!"

…Except for Alice who cheered Sensei on, oblivious to the context of the situation.

A/N: Life and procrastination is pain. Also had to rewrite this a lot more than I would have liked. What normally only took me a week or two with my spare time turned to a month. Gotta improve on that. Regardless, I hope you still enjoy reading through this and have a good day y'all! Also, feedback is greatly appreciated!
