Thanks to gaara king of the sand for the help.

Pete wasn't going to make it. That was all Clementine could think. There was no way he could survive even if they had cut his leg off. Especially not if they were on the road. He couldn't walk, and how were they going to carry him miles and miles to lord knows where?

After packing up the group debated on what to do. They weren't going to leave the unconscious Pete behind, but he was in no condition to move on his own.

The only answer was to load him up into a wheelbarrow. The wheelbarrow had been sitting outside and was wet from the rain, but it was better than nothing. Placing cushions and blankets in the unusual ambulance to soften the rough ride, they set out on the road.

The walk was silent, Pete remained unconscious, hot with a raging fever which with no doubt was caused by the infection.

They were heading north; they knew that much. Where exactly north was the question.

Clementine wondered if maybe they would stumble upon Wellington. She hoped so. They would be safe there.

"Stay close to me, alright, Clem." Molly spoke up.

"I will…" Clementine said.

"You two sure you still wanna come with us?" Luke suddenly asked. "Look, I know we got off to a rough start, and I can't make any promises that it won't get rougher. But we all know you now. We may not be perfect, but we look out for each other."

"Yeah. We're with you guys." Clementine said.

"For now." Molly added.

"And we are glad to have you." Luke said.

"Not everyone is…" Clementine pointed out.

"They'll get there." Luke replied.

"I hope so…" Clementine said.

Silence fell over them as Luke looked at a map.

"So, what's the plan? Where exactly are we heading?" Molly asked.

"There's supposed to be some kind of resort north of the mountains. It'll probably be safe there, with more than enough space for all of us." Luke said.

"That should be good." Molly said.

"Should be." Luke agreed. "I figure we got about four or five days to reach those mountains. Now if they're tracking us, we should be able to lose 'em up there."

"Five days?" Rebecca gasped.

"It's gonna be okay, Bec." Alvin reassured her.

"We have to keep moving now. It's our only choice." Carlos muttered.

Pete was dying. They all knew it. How he survived for two days was beyond Clementine. The little girl didn't know how long she stood by Pete, searching his face for any signs of consciousness before she sudden became aware of Luke's presence as the young man placed a hand on her little shoulder. "Hey... You okay?"

"Pete doesn't look so well…" Clementine muttered. The man had been unconscious the entire day and all of the night before.

Luke frowned, "No… He doesn't…"

Carlos had been doing his best to tend to the older man's wounds over the past two days, but Clementine knew it wasn't much help.

"Is he going to make it?" Clementine asked.

"I… don't know, kid. I don't know…" Luke answered honestly.

Pete was a good guy. He didn't deserve this. Clementine felt bad for him.

"I hope he'll be okay." Clementine said.

"I hope so too." Luke said. "Come on. It's late, let's get some sleep."

"Okay…"

Late into the night Clementine jerked awake to the sound of growls. The girl groaned at the noise, assuming it was Sam she shushed the dog. However, the noise continued.

"Sam, I said, be quiet." Clementine said. Her eyes fluttered open and she turned her gaze to where Pete had been laying. Her stomach immediately dropped.

The snarling had woken the others as well and Clementine heard their stunned reactions.

"Oh shit… Oh fuck…!" Luke had exclaimed.

"Sarah, don't look!" Carlos covered his daughter's eyes.

"N-No… No… This can't be happening…" Nick was fighting back sobs.

Molly took in the scene and stood. "We gotta take care of him…"

"Don't you fucking dare!" Nick snapped.

"He's dead! We have to put him down before-"

Nick cut Molly off, "Before what?! He's not a fucking threat!"

"Do you really want to leave your uncle like this?" Molly asked.

Nick fell silent. "…Do it… Just… Hurry the fuck up…"

Molly gave a small nod. "I'm sorry…"

Luke placed a comforting hand on Nick's shoulder, but the other man pulled away. Luke decided to give him his space.

No one slept well that night.

Five days of travel and the group was completely exhausted. They had stopped for a rest break. Luke offered Clementine a pair of binoculars and asked her to take a look at their far-off surroundings.

Clementine climbed onto a large bolder to get a better view and looked through the binoculars.

"See anything?" Luke asked the child.

"She better see somethin'. We've been walkin' for a damn week." Alvin grumbled.

"There's the bridge... And there's a little house by it." Clementine announced.

"How big is it?" Carlos asked.

"It's pretty small." Clementine said.

"Does the bridge look passable?" Luke questioned.

Clementine hummed then nodded. "I think so."

"Good." Luke said.

Clementine continued scanning the area. "There's a lift or something."

"Chair lift? Must be that ski resort." Luke said.

Clementine lowered the binoculars for a moment. "I've never been skiing."

"Bec and I went once." Alvin said.

"It wasn't pretty." Rebecca chuckled.

Clementine continued looking around. "There's a building on the mountain."

"What's it look like?" Luke asked.

"It's big." Clementine replied.

"That sounds like a good place to spend the night." Luke said.

Seeing nothing else, Clementine climbed down from the bolder.

"We have to cross that bridge. Let's go." Carlos said.

"Hold on now. We can't all go sprinting across that thing, okay? If we get spotted out there, we're gonna be trapped." Luke said.

"Going around that lake will take too long." Carlos said.

"Right, but... look, we've got no idea who's out there." Luke said. "Okay, I'm gonna sneak across and make sure it's clear before we bring the whole group."

"You think splitting up the group is a good idea?" Carlos asked.

"I never said it was a GOOD idea, but it's better than risking everyone at once." Luke said.

"What's your plan?" Alvin asked.

"Molly and I can scoot across low and slow and make sure nobody's waitin' for us on the other side." Luke suggested.

"We'll have a tough time covering you from back here." Alvin said.

Luke frowned then gave a small shrug. "Well, we'll just turn back if it gets hairy."

"I can go too." Nick stood.

"You stay with the group." Luke quickly said.

"I'm fine, Luke." Nick argued.

"Actually, I think both of you should stay with the group." Molly said.

"You're kidding, right?" Luke asked. "You can't go alone."

"I'm not going alone. Clem's gonna come with me." Molly said.

"Wait, what? You'd rather bring the kid than bring one of us?" Nick asked.

"Exactly what I'm saying." Molly confirmed.

"She's like ten." Nick huffed.

"And she could probably kick all of your asses easily." Molly said. "Clem can handle herself. And I trust her to watch my back."

"I could watch your back." Luke said. "We've travelled together for five days you gotta trust me a little at this point."

"It not that I don't trust you. I just trust Clem more." Molly responded.

Carlos frowned, "Clementine should stay here. She's..."

"She's what?" Molly asked.

"She's just a little girl..." Carlos said.

"And she's fully capable of handling something like this. Right, Clem?" Molly asked the child.

The child nodded. "I can do it."

"You two seem confident… Just… Just be careful. Okay?" Luke said.

"We will." Molly said. "Come on, Clem."

Clementine nodded and followed her guardian, with Sam close by her side.

"How you holding up, kiddo?" Molly asked as the two walked from the group's ear shot.

"I'm okay…" Clementine said. "Do you think that Carver guy is still following us?"

"We wouldn't be on the run if he wasn't." Molly said.

"I'm tired of running…" Clementine said.

"So am I, kid. So am I." Molly said.

"Maybe we can keep heading north until we find Wellington…" Clementine suggested.

"I don't see us getting that far with this group." Molly said.

"Why not?"

"For one, Rebecca's pregnant. We don't know how long it'll take us to get to Wellington, but we'd be pushing it trying to get her to walk there." Molly said.

"Oh…" Clementine said. "I don't want to leave them behind…"

"I know you don't."

"Do you?"

"I've never been a group person… You know that." Molly said.

Before Clementine could respond Sam began barking, alerting them of two walkers right ahead.

"Come on, let's clear this bridge." Molly said.

Clementine gave a nod.

"You got your weapon?" Molly asked.

Clementine grabbed a knife from her pocket. "Always."

The first two geeks were a simple take down. Molly and Clementine took them out easily before continuing on.

As they made it onto the bridge, they noticed a couple more Geeks. The two made their way to the creatures to take them out.

Clementine hit on of the geeks in the leg, sending it to the ground. She used knife to stab the creature in the head. Pulling the weapon free, Clementine stumbles backward, almost falling, she quickly regains her footing and dodges as another walker lunges at her, unfortunately dropping her knife in the process.

Clementine ducks as another geek reaches toward her, but she slips and falls, managing to grab onto the railing.

"Clementine!" Molly rushes over her after dealing with two other geeks.

Just as Molly kills another Clementine manages to pull herself up. She jumps back onto the bridge and Molly sighs in relief.

"Are you okay?" Molly asked.

"I… I think so." Clementine breathed out.

The two took a moment to catch their breath.

"You didn't do too bad, kid." Molly praised.

"Thanks…" Clementine said.

"Let's keep moving." Molly said.

The young girl nodded and the two continued on before suddenly noticing a figure.

Sam started growling, but Clementine spoke gently to the dog, "It's okay, boy… It's okay."

Sam's growls slowly died down.

"Well, who are you?" The figure called from where he stood.

"Depends on who's asking?" Molly spoke.

"I am." The man replied.

Clementine and Molly exchanged looks.

"I'm Clementine, and this is Molly. And… And my dog Sam." Clementine spoke.

The man hummed and walked a bit closer. "You don't look like assholes. Are you assholes?" The man asked. "No offense or anything, but you know how it is out here. You run into a lot of assholes."

"Well, I'm not… But don't let the little one fool you, she might be." Molly said with a smirk.

"Hey!" Clementine said.

The man chuckled a bit. "You folks heading north like everyone else? "

"Yeah. Actually, we are." Molly said.

"I see at least one group a day move through here. They all look the same. It's like a migration for the dazed and confused." The man said. "I gotta say you two look like shit. If you need food I got some canned stuff in that station over there."

"Really? And you're willing to share, without a cost?" Molly questioned, raising a brow.

"Well, you guys look like you need it. I've got enough to share." The man said.

"Well we appreciate it, uh…." Molly trailed off, not knowing his name.

"The name's Matthew." He said.

"We appreciate it, Matthew." Molly said.

"Of course. It's nice running into friendly faces out here. Like I said, I've got food and supplies in the station. Is it just you two?" Matthew asked.

"We have a group. Quite a few of us." Molly said. "We were hoping to stay at that ski lodge on the mountain."

"The ski lodge? Well… my group is at the ski lodge." Matthew said.

"Our group has been on the road for a few days. We have a pregnant woman, and two kids with us... If you guys could make room for one night, we'd really appreciate it." Molly said.

"I'm sure we could make some room. I'll talk to my people and see if we can bring you guys in." Matthew responded.

Clementine beamed at that. "Really? Can we?"

"Sure. I'm sure they'll be fine with it." Matthew said.

"That'd be great." Molly said.

"I'll go tell the others! Come on, Sam." Clementine said.

"Alright, just be careful on the bridge." Molly said.

Clementine nodded, practically skipping off.

Matthew couldn't help but chuckle. "Cute kid."

"She has her moments." Molly replied.

The man nodded. "Don't all kids. I can't remember the last time I saw a little one- What the fuck?"

"What?" Molly quickly turned. Her eyes widened as she noticed Nick wielding a gun in Matthew's direction. Clementine had stopped in the middle of the bridge and seemed to be trying to talk him down.

"N-Nick, what are you doing?" Clementine stammered.

Nick didn't respond as he simply kept his gun aimed towards Matthew.

"D-Don't shoot, Nick!" Clementine said, "He's trying to help us."

"How do you know that?" Nick inquired. "How do you know he's not with Carver?"

"He's not! He's wants to help us, Nick. Really?" Clementine said.

"Bullshit!" Nick spat.

"Just put the gun down, Nick, please." Clementine said.

Nick looked the young girl a bit hesitant.

"He just wants to help us." Clementine repeated. As she did, she noticed Luke was approaching from behind, Nick.

When Nick still hesitated, Luke lunged forward and grabbed at the gun. Nick struggled for it and the weapon went off.

Clementine flinched, as did the others on the bridge. The child opened her eyes and looked to see if anyone had been hit, fortunately they hadn't.

Pete had been right; they were lucky Nick couldn't shoot for shit.

Luke yanked the gun from Nick's hand, shooting him a glare. "What the hell is your problem, Nick?!"

"I… I didn't mean to shoot! If you hadn't grabbed that gun-"

"You could've shot Molly or Clem! What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Luke snapped.

Nick didn't know how to respond.

"That shot rang out for miles… We gotta get off this bridge. Let's go." Luke signaled to the others to come on, and they obliged.

Knowing the noise would draw attention, the group quickly got off the bridge, making their way over to the station.

"What the hell's your problem. You were gonna shoot me?!" Matthew sent Nick a dirty look.

"I don't know who the hell you are!" Nick snapped back.

"He was trying to help us, Nick!" Molly huffed.

"How the fuck was I supposed to know that?" Nick questioned.

"I told you to stay behind for a reason. We didn't need you fucking shit up!" Molly hissed at him.

"What have I fucked up?" Nick questioned.

"You would've shot one of us on that bridge!" Molly said.

"I wasn't gonna shoot unless you gave me a go ahead!" Nick snapped.

"Enough! We don't have time to fight. We need to keep moving." Luke said.

Matthew sighed, "I was telling Molly and her girl, I have food in the station. You guys can help yourselves."

"Well that's awful nice of ya. What's the catch?" Luke asked.

"No catch. I've got plenty." Matthew said.

"Well alright then. Thank you." Luke said.

Matthew nodded. "And my offer still stands, if you'd like to spend the night at the lodge, I'll talk to my people."

"We would appreciate it." Molly said.

"Alright… You guys can head on up whenever you're ready. I'll go talk to my group." Matthew said.

With that Matthew walked away.

"We're lucky as fuck that he's still willing to help us after the shit you pulled, man." Luke grumbled at Nick.

"I didn't know what the hell he wanted; he could've been dangerous!" Nick said.

"Molly told you she had things covered, you should've let her handle it." Luke said.

"You know what, fuck you, Luke! You've been on my case the whole week." Nick said.

"And why do you think that is, Nick?" Luke asked.

"Because you're an asshole?" Nick scoffed. "I was looking out for our people."

"Either way. You could've hit one of them." Luke pointed out.

"Yeah, but I didn't." Nick said.

"Look, I... I know Pete was close with you, Nick. But you can't-"

"Don't fucking talk about him!" Nick growled at his friend.

"You don't think he's with Carver, right?" Rebecca asked, anxiously.

"I doubt it." Molly said. "He's just someone trying to help."

A series of sighs filled the air before Carlos spoke.

"Luke, Molly, can I talk to you two alone?" Carlos asked.

Nick sighed and walked off.

"Hey, Clem, you got anything to eat? Bec's dying over here." Alvin suddenly spoke up.

"Alvin, I told you I'm fine." Rebecca argued.

"Sorry. I'm out." Clementine said.

"Damn…" Alvin sighed. "I wish we still had those juice boxes."

"Yeah. Me too." Sarah said.

"That man said he had food in the station." Clementine said.

"I guess it's worth checking out." Alvin said.

"I can do it." Clementine offered.

"Are you sure?" Alvin asked.

Clementine nodded. "Come on, Sam."

"Are you sure it's a good idea to let a child go alone?" Rebecca huffed.

"Clem's fine. She's can handle it, Bec." Alvin said.

Rebecca rolled her eyes. "She's still a little kid, Alvin."

"She just crossed that bridge, no problem. I'm sure she can handle the station." Alvin pointed out.

Rebecca didn't bother responding. "Be careful, Clem."

"I will." Clementine said before walking off.

The young girl paused as she noticed Nick sitting by the station, she walked over to him. "Hey…"

Nick didn't even look to her direction.

"Are... you okay, Nick?" Clementine asked.

"Do I look okay?" Nick huffed.

Clementine frowned but didn't respond.

"I'm sure they're talkin' about me right now. "Luke, he's becoming a danger to the group!" I wasn't trying to kill the guy. I just thought he was trouble." Nick said.

"He just wants to help us. Not everyone is bad, Nick…" Clementine said back.

"We can't trust everyone though… That's even more dangerous than not trusting people." Nick said.

"I guess…"

A silence fell for a moment.

Nick lowered his gaze and spoke in a small voice. "I thought he was going to be okay. I thought, Uncle Pete would make it."

"We all hoped he would…" Clementine said.

"Then why are they acting like this? My uncle is dead, and they act like he was some dog that got hit by a car. They don't even give a damn! This was a human being. He was my uncle!" Nick tightened his fist.

"I know, Nick. They do care…. They're just scared… and focused on surviving right now…" Clementine said. "No one's had time to mourn…."

"I should've done more... It may as well be my fault that he's dead." Nick bit his lip.

"It's not your fault."

"Of course it is! I could've helped him…"

"There was nothing you could do… Pete was bit." Clementine said. "…He wouldn't want you to blame yourself."

"What do you know?" Nick grumbled.

"I know he loved you." Clementine said. "And I know he wouldn't want you to beat yourself up about this…"

Nick paused for a moment. "I guess you're right…" He sighed. "Thanks, Clem…"

Clementine nodded. "I'll give you some time alone…"

The young girl made her way to the door of the station. "Get ready, Sam."

The dog gave a single bark in response. Clementine stood on her tiptoes and peered through the window; she couldn't see much but the building looked clear.

Pulling open the door, she allowed Sam to enter first. The dog did so and remained quiet. Not hearing his barks, Clementine followed behind him.

The young girl began looking around. The small building was scattered with cans, a bed was in the corner of the room. Matthew had mentioned haven't plenty of food, but so far there sure as hell wasn't plenty.

Clementine made her way over to a trunk which sat on the ground. She attempted to open it, to no avail. It was locked.

The girl frowned, "I don't see a key around here. Matthew probably had it."

Clementine continued to look around, finding a survival knife which she uses the knife to pry open the trunk. Inside are some cans of peaches and some books, one of which is The Wizard's Gambit by Dierce Belman. Clementine picks up one of the cans. Alvin enters the station.

"Man, and I thought we had it bad. Look at this dump." Alvin spoke. "Bec wanted me to check on you. How are you doing, Clem?"

"I said I'd be fine. I have Sam with me." Clementine said.

"I guess he's a pretty good guard dog." Alvin said.

Clementine smiled and nodded.

"Hmm… Guess he did have food." Alvin said, noticing the can Clementine was holding. "Man, fuck Nick. Nick's lost a lotta his people, that's for sure, but that doesn't give him the excuse to go shooting up strangers."

"Give him a break. His uncle just died." Clementine said.

"Yeah... True enough. I don't know what I'd do if I lost Bec." Alvin scratched the back of his head with a sigh. "I'm just saying... I mean you ever known anyone to do a thing like that?"

"Lots of people... It happens all the time now." Clementine said.

"It's fuckin crazy. Pardon my French." Alvin said.

An awkward silence fell.

Alvin broke it by motioning to a picture on the peach can, "That's funny. She looks just like you."

Clementine rolled her eyes.

"Hey, Clem. There's not a lot of food here and Rebecca, well... she's eating for two. I hate to even say it... but..." Alvin trailed off, looking a bit guilty.

"Rebecca can have it. I won't say anything..." Clementine said, know what he was hinting at.

"Thanks, Clementine..." Alvin said. "It's a shame. Nick was a good guy. He's still a good guy. He's just losing it... God knows we're not perfect... hell, I'm glad you're with us, Clementine."

Alvin glanced outside and was surprised to see a couple of the undead were approaching from the bridge. "The hell is that?"

Clementine looked through the window and frowned. "Geeks…"

The two rushed outside to see the rest of the group getting up.

"We got a problem here." Alvin spoke up.

"Yeah, we saw it. Alright, we're heading up." Luke said.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Rebecca panted out.

"We have to be careful." Carlos said.

"Careful? We've been on the road for five days. My back is done being careful." Rebecca said.

"Matthew said he wanted to talk to his people." Clementine spoke up.

"And he might just change his mind if he catches you guys creeping around like a couple of bandits." Molly scoffed.

"How do we know we can trust him?" Nick asked.

"We don't… But if they're at the ski lodge, then we're going to have to take whatever hospitality that they're offering. At least it's something." Molly said.

"Yeah... We can't turn down a place to stay. We need at least one night of rest." Luke said.

The others couldn't help but agree.

"Let's just wait for him to come back." Molly said.

The others decided to sit down, taking a long-needed break.

Clementine leaned against the railing of the porch; Sam glued at her side per usual.

Luke noticed and walked over to the young girl. "How are you holding up, kid?"

"I… I just don't understand…" Clementine muttered.

"What?"

"It's been five days. Why would Carver still be after us?" Clementine asked.

Luke paused, looking to see if any of the other group members were in close earshot. "What's the most important thing in this world? What does everyone want. What's the one thing a guy would walk hundreds of miles to get back? Something you can't just find."

"Family." Clementine answered.

Luke nodded. "It's a tough world out there without people you can trust. Anyway... you can ask Rebecca. I'm not gonna get in the middle of it." Luke said. "We'll all made mistakes. Done things we regret. It's not my place to talk about somebody's past."

"It seems like we're already in the middle of it." Clementine pointed out.

"Tell me about it." Luke sighed before deciding to change the subject. "It'd be good to know if anybody's actually back there. We could get a better view from up top. Clem would have an easier time gettin' up there... You mind taking a look, kid?"

"So you're voluntelling her?"

Luke flinched as he noticed Molly approaching with her arms crossed. "Well... I'm asking... if that's okay... It'll be just like climbing a treehouse, kid."

"I had a treehouse once." Clementine said.

"Well, there you go." Luke smiled.

"...I hated it." Clementine said.

Luke's face fell. "Oh..."

Molly shook her head. "You think you can handle it, Clem?"

"I got it…" Clementine said. She walked over to the ladder and looked up for a minute.

Luke approached the young girl. "Just take it slow. And I'll catch you if you fall, probably."

Molly walked over as well. "If he doesn't, I'll kick his ass, don't worry."

The girl furrowed her brows, taking a deep breath before she proceeded to go up the ladder.

"Got a good grip?" Luke asked.

"Yeah." Clementine said.

"When I was a kid, we used to jump rooftops downtown. Now that was fun." Luke said.

"That sounds stupid." Clementine said.

"Definitely sounds stupid." Molly agreed.

"Yeah... Yeah it was. Trick was not to look down though." Luke said, as he stood below the ladder in case the child slipped.

Clementine continued to climb up the ladder. She was shaking a bit as she got higher. The girl gasped as she nearly slipped.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. You're fine. Just look at me, okay. You're fine." Luke said. "Alright, just slow down. Just for a second, okay."

"You just told me NOT to look down!" Clementine said.

"Uh... Right..."

Clementine took a few quick breaths before she continued upwards. "Made it!" She called once she reached the top.

"See anything?" Luke called to her.

"I can see the bridge!" Clementine said. "…It's really dark... Wait, I see something."

"What is it?" Luke asked.

"A light! But... wait there's another!"

"Luke? Luke! Molly?" Clementine stopped her calls as she noticed the two adults rush over to some people who had came outside from the ski lodge. The girl decided to see what was going on.

It wasn't long before Matthew stepped outside with his group, one man in particular seemed less than happy about their new arrivals.

"Are you sure we can trust these folks?" A bearded man questioned.

Molly furrowed her brows, that voice seemed so familiar.

"They seem okay… They have kids with them." Matthew said.

"That don't mean shit, nowadays." The bearded man grumbled. "Hell, the kids could be psychopaths, or murderers too."

"They're just people who need help. They need a place to stay." Matthew said.

"They're strangers! We can't just let strangers in!" The bearded snapped. "Look, I'm sorry but you folks gotta go."

"We've been on the road for days, man. You can't just turn us away." Nick said.

"That ain't exactly my problem." The bearded man said.

"This is bullshit!" Nick snapped.

"We don't know you folks. For all we know, you could be fuckin' thieves." The bearded man spoke.

"Excuse me, but do I look like a fucking thief?" Rebecca huffed.

"Everyone just calm down." Alvin spoke up.

"Sarah, stay behind me." Carlos ordered.

"Look, chill old man. All we need is a place to stay. One night and then…" Molly stopped mid-sentence as she stepped forward, her eyes widened. "Holy shit…"

Curious, little Clementine made her way through the crowd and her own eyes grew wide. "K-Kenny?"

"Hold on, you know this guy?" Luke asked.

Without wasting another second Clementine went forward and hugged the bearded man. Kenny returns the hug before kneeling to the small girl's height and placing a gentle hand on Clementine's shoulder.

"I'll take that as a yes." A man in a red sweater spoke.

Molly stepped forward, "Never thought I'd see you again, old man."

"It's nice to see you too, Molly." Kenny replied. "I take it these people are with you?"

Clementine gave a nod.

Kenny straightened up and said, "We can talk inside."

"Great. I just started dinner." The man in the sweater said.

"Are you sure you don't mind?" Carlos asked.

"It's gonna storm soon. Please, come in." The man in the sweater urged.

The lodge is covered in lights and festive decorations. Clementine and Molly both are amazing by what they see.

"Kenny and Sarita have been staying with us for several weeks. Used to be a ski lodge, obviously, so we have plenty of food. And believe it or not, we still get some power from that wind turbine out front. We tend to keep most of the lights off at night to avoid drawing attention. But after we found this stuff in storage, we couldn't resist making an exception." The man in the red sweater spoke.

Kenny mimes to Clementine that Walter is talking too much, and she quietly laughs.

"What's so funny?" The man asked.

"Oh, nothin', Walt. Walter here is one smart son of a bitch." Kenny gave Walter a pat on the back. "Makes a mean can of beans too."

"Well, why don't you two catch up while I get some dinner started?" Walter said.

Nick, Luke, Rebecca, and Alvin enter the lodge.

"Please, make yourselves at home. You can leave your things over there." Walter said to them.

Rebecca quickly refused. "The hell we will."

"Yeah, I'm holdin' onto my rifle, thanks." Nick said.

"I would rather you not." Matthew mumbled.

"You're our guests here. There's no need to worry." Walter said.

"Tell him to put his gun down, then." Nick motioned to Kenny.

Walter turned to the bearded man. "Kenny?"

"Will you vouch for these people, Clem? If you tell me they're good, then I'm good." Kenny said.

"Us? You were the one wavin' a gun around, man." Nick scoffed.

"We're cool, okay? Hey, hey, we're cool, we're cool." Luke said.

"Clementine?" Kenny looked to the young girl.

"They're cool." Clementine said.

Sarita, Sarah, and Carlos enter the lodge.

"Dad! Look! A Christmas tree!" Sarah exclaimed, beam brightly.

"Not now, Sarah." Carlos grabbed her gently to keep her from running over.

"Isn't it great? We found it all in storage." Sarita smiled.

"It's amazing." Sarah said.

Kenny and Sarita exchange glances. Kenny set his weapon down in the foyer, and the cabin group follows suit. Clementine also puts her backpack down.

"Good, if you'll all follow me, I'll show you where you can sleep." Sarita spoked.

The group started to follow after her.

Clementine and Molly stayed behind with Kenny.

Matthew raises a brow as he notices the knife handle hanging from, Clementine's backpack. "Where you get that knife?"

"I found it in the station…" Clementine said. "I didn't steal it, I promise…"

"I know you didn't… It just… means a lot to me. Do you think you could give it back?" Matthew asked.

"Oh… Sure…" Clementine retrieved the weapon from her bag and sheepishly handed to him. "I'm sorry…"

"Hey, no hard feelings, kid." Matthew said, patting the child's covered head. Matthew looked over to Kenny, "I'm gonna take a walk before dinner time."

"Alright. Be careful, Matt." Kenny said.

"I'm always careful." Matthew said.

With that Matthew walked off.

Kenny, Molly, and Clementine headed towards the living room, taking a seat on the couch to chat.

"Still wearin' this dirty old thing, huh?" Kenny tapped at Clementine's hat with a small smile. "You know, I half-expected to see Lee walk up next to you. You guys were like two peas in a pod."

Clementine couldn't help but frown at his words.

Seeing Clementine's sad expression, Kenny quickly showed remorse. "Oh, shit, I didn't mean to... It's just hard not to think about it, you know?"

"Lee… Saved me…" Clementine whispered.

"I knew it. I knew he would. That guy had a fire in him, sure as shit." Kenny said. "Hell… He was a hell of a guy. When my son...well...he took care of him. I'll never forget that."

A brief silence fell.

"So… How'd you end up with Molly?" Kenny asked.

"After Lee, I was alone, until Molly found me…" Clementine said.

"I've been teaching her what she needs to know… to survive." Molly said.

"Sounds like it ain't been easy for you. I'm sorry, darlin'. I wish I coulda found you sooner. But everything's gonna be fine now." Kenny said.

"I thought you were dead… I thought everyone was dead. What happened to you?" Clementine asked.

"For some reason I tried to save that fuckin' shitbird Ben. Then it turned into a damn cluster. Couldn't help the kid. But I got out. Long story short, I got lucky. Real lucky. Spent a long time alone after that. It, uh..." Kenny trailed off, looking lost in thought. "And then I met Sarita, thank god. Gosh, it's great to have you back."

As if cued, Sarita approached, placing a hand on Kenny's shoulder. "You guys catching up?"

"Ladies, this is my girl, Sarita. Ain't she beautiful?" Kenny said. "Sarita, this here's Clementine and Molly."

"Nice to meet you, too. I hope you make yourselves at home." Sarita said.

"Thank you." Molly replied.

"Hope you guys are hungry, Walter's whipping up a nice meal for us." Kenny said.

"I'm starving." Clementine said. "I'm sure Sam could use some food too."

"Been forever since I've seen a dog, where'd you find the mutt anyway?" Kenny asked.

"He found me actually." Clementine said.

"He attacked her…" Molly sighed.

"Wh-What?" Kenny asked in shock.

"I wanted to get rid of him right then and there." Molly said.

"He didn't mean it though. He was just hungry." Clementine defended her dog.

"Yeah, yeah…" Molly rolled her eyes.

Meanwhile, Sarita walked over to Carlos and Sarah. "Carlos, right? Mind if I steal your daughter for a secret mission?"

Sarah looked to her father, hoping he would say yes.

"Stay in sight, sweetie." Carlos said after a moment.

"Can we do anything to help?" Luke asked as he and Nick came downstairs.

"Could use a hand outside. We got a lotta supplies we need to bring in before that storm hits." Kenny said.

"Sure." Luke said.

"I can help too." Molly offered, standing from the couch.

Clementine stood as well. "What can I do?"

"Why don't you help Walt with dinner?" Kenny suggested.

"Okay." Clementine agreed.

"Thata girl." Kenny said.

"Sam, come on, boy." Clementine called, only to see the dog resting on the floor by the fireplace. He was probably exhausted. She decided to leave him be.

Clementine headed to the cafeteria, where Walter is cooking dinner in a pot on the stove.

"Hey, Clementine." Walter greeted. "Settling in well enough?"

"Yeah, thanks." Clementine said.

"Excellent. Want to help me prepare a little dinner?"

Clementine gave a nod in respond.

"So …how do you know Kenny? He and Sarita have been a huge help. Matthew and I barely knew what to do around here the first week. But Kenny, well, he never slows down."

"We're old friends. I met him at the start of… all this…" Clementine explained.

"Connecting with people is so important. I don't know what I'd do without Matthew." Walter paused, adding salt to the food. "Gosh, you remind me of my students. I can't imagine what it's like growing up in the middle of all this."

"Everyone underestimates me." Clementine simply said.

"I expect you've used that to your advantage." Walter responded.

Clementine crossed her arms and shrugged. "Sometimes."

"Smart girl." Walter commented.

Clementine felt a small smile tug at her lips.

Walter took a moment to taste the food he was making. "Hmm. Almost done. Would you do me the honor of tasting the first course, madam?"

Clementine eyed the meal with a suspicious gaze. "What is this?"

"Le Walter Surprise. An autumnal legume salad with a peach roux." Walter said, chuckling a bit at Clementine's confused expression. "It's peaches and beans. It's all we've got."

"Oh." Clementine said.

"Huh." Walter suddenly said as he noticed the can. "Striking resemblance." He motioned to the same picture Alvin had showed to her earlier.

Clementine fought the urge to roll her eyes.

"Anyway, I'll take it from here." Walter picked up the pot and walked away.

Now alone, Clementine decided to look around the lodge. After looking at a couple objects around the lodge, Clementine figured she could check in with her group members.

The child made her way over to Sarah and Sarita overhearing the two talking.

"What's the song you're humming?" Sarah asked.

""Good King Winceslas". It's my favorite Christmas song." Sarita answered.

"What's it about?" Sarah questioned.

"Well. It's about a king that brings food to a poor man. The king and his servant march all night through a cold winter storm to reach the man. The storm is very strong. After a long time, it gets so cold that the servant can't go on. But the king tells the servant to just step in his tracks. "Mark my footsteps, good my page. Tread thou in them boldly. Thou shalt find the winter's rage, freeze thy blood less coldly.""

"I don't get it." Sarah said.

Sarita chuckled. "It means that doing good things for people can be good for you, too."

"But the servant wouldn't have been out there in the first place if the king hadn't made him."

"Good point." Sarita laughed.

"Hi…" Clementine spoke, making her presence known.

"Hi, Clem. We could use some help. Here, Sarah, you take this and string them up over there." The two children helped Sarita continue to decorate the tree. "You knew Kenny before. It must be incredible to see him again. When I met him, well...he's so different now. But you must be so glad."

"Did he say anything about before?" Clementine asked.

"No. He won't talk about before I met him." Sarita replied.

"Oh." Clementine muttered.

"Everything takes a little coaxing these days." Sarita said.

They continued decorating for a bit.

"Perfect. Now we just need the topper." Sarita smiled.

"We always had an angel on top of our tree." Sarah said.

"My family didn't celebrate Christmas, but I still love the decorations." Sarita said. "Clem, do you think you can find a topper? There should be one upstairs."

Clementine nodded and headed upstairs where Alvin, Rebecca, and Carlos were talking.

"It's crazy. Why would they follow us this far?" Rebecca said.

"We can't be sure." Carlos muttered.

"It's been a week, man. We gotta be outta the woods." Alvin said.

"We can't be sure. They might be tracking." Carlos said.

"Tracking? Who do you think they are, ninjas?" Alvin scoffed.

Spotting Clementine, Rebecca spoke to her, "Clem, Luke said you saw some people in the valley?"

"People? Way down there? How?" Alvin asked.

"She's got binoculars, genius." Rebecca said, rolling her eyes.

"Yeah, yeah." Alvin said.

"What'd you see, Clementine?" Rebecca asked.

"I saw lights." Clementine answered.

"Which way did they go?" Rebecca asked.

"Back into the woods." Clementine said.

"We cannot take any chances. We leave at dawn." Carlos said.

"But we're safe here for tonight, right?" Rebecca questioned.

"Clementine, you talked to that man Walter, right? What did he say? You didn't tell him anything about us, did you? We have to be careful. They could be hiding something." Carlos said.

"Look, we all need a break. Especially Bec, we're stayin' here tonight." Alvin said.

"Clem, just talk to the rest of them. They trust you. See what you can find out. I'm gonna go find Luke." Carlos said before walking away.

"Honey, I don't feel so good." Rebecca muttered to Alvin.

Alvin frowned, "Bec, what's wrong?"

Rebecca gripped her head and said, "I just need somethin' to drink."

"You got it. I'll be right back." Alvin walked off.

Clementine slowly approached Rebecca and asked, "Are you okay?"

"Just got a little dizzy. I can't even take care of myself. How am I supposed to raise a child? I mean, how can anyone now? Everything's so fucked up."

"I think it's possible." Clementine said.

"How would you know?" Rebecca huffed.

"Well… I'm still here…" Clementine said.

Rebecca's eyes widened as she realized that was true. "I know it's gonna be hard. But at the same time, I already feel a little less lonely. Because I know that no matter what happens, I'll get to meet someone new. She's kicking. Want to listen?" She spoke to her baby, "That food smells good, huh? It's okay. We're gonna get you something soon."

"Can I?" Clementine hesitated a bit before touching Rebecca's stomach.

Rebecca smiled at that, as the little child leaned her ear against her stomach.

"She's gonna be a runner. You know, none of us would make it on our own. Sometimes it's hard knowing just how dependent I am on everyone. I'm not used to that. I'm not comfortable with that. I'm supposed to be a mom soon. Guess I need to work on my patience. Alvin and I still don't know what to call her, or him, if that man gets his wish, god help me. Any ideas? Clem?"

"…I don't know… I don't think I'd be good at picking a name." Clementine said.

"Well, let me know if you think of anything." Rebecca said.

"Okay, I will."

Rebecca's expression suddenly changed, and she looked as if she wanted to cry.

"What's wrong?" Clementine asked, concerned for the woman.

"…It's not his." Rebecca said.

"Huh?"

"It's not his baby…" Rebecca repeated. "If he finds out it's not his, he'll kill me. I don't know what to do. I can't believe I'm asking a little girl for advice. But I guess nothing's weird anymore."

"He won't kill you…" Clementine said.

Before Rebecca could say another word, Alvin returned. "There's my man."

"You alright, baby?" Alvin asked, offering her a water bottle.

"I'm fine, you big dope." Rebecca said.

"Just need to get some food in you. Thanks for stayin' with her, Clem. Can you go ask that Walter guy when we're gonna eat?" Alvin said.

Clementine nodded.

"I love you, silly bear." Rebecca said.

"I hate it when you call me that." Alvin groaned.

"I know. But I mean it." Rebecca said.

"I love you, too. You get some rest now." Alvin said.

Clementine went over to a box full of decorative items, she picked up an angel ornament and placed it onto the tree.

"She looks so cool!" Sarah smiled.

Clementine headed back down the stairs.

"Beautiful. I used to love this time of year. You know, now that your friends are here, this place is starting to feel like a real home. Matthew and Walter are amazing people. Honestly, it's dangerous to be this kind. But they can't help it. Wait until you meet Matthew. He's a real character. The first time he met me he called me Rita. So I call him Matty now. It's kind of our little war." Sarita suddenly motioned for Clementine to come closer. The young girl did so. Sarita spoke in a quieter voice, "Clem, I wanted to ask you... Does Kenny seem different to you? I didn't know him before, and, well...I'm curious. He has good days and bad days like everyone else. But lately I get the feeling he's...struggling."

"He does seem different…" Clementine said after a moment of thought.

"In what way?" Sarita asked.

Clementine didn't know how to answer. "I don't…know…"

Sarita opened her mouth to speak but didn't get the chance to.

"Well, you three've been busy." Kenny said approaching them.

"Kenny! Isn't it great?" Sarita picked up a cardboard box, which had been full of decorations.

"I got it, hon." Kenny said.

"I think I can manage, Ken." Sarita said.

"I said I got it!" Kenny yanked the box away before walking off.

Clementine was surprised by his sudden aggressiveness.

"Always has to play the gentleman. But I'll tell you, when I met him, he couldn't lift a fly." Sarita said.

"Well, everyone, dinner is served. C'mon, let's eat!" Walter called out.

The cabin group sits at one table, and the ski lodge group sits at the other one.

Clementine feel's Molly place a hand on her shoulder.

Kenny waves at Clementine. "Right here, Clem!"

Luke seems to frown at that.

"Where should we sit?" Clementine asked.

"That's on you kid, where you go, I'll follow." Molly said.

"…I think I'd like to talk with Kenny some more." Clementine said.

"Aright. Lead the way." Molly urged.

Clementine headed over to Kenny's table with her guardian following.

"Hey, Clem." Kenny smiled. "Hey Molly."

"Matthew's still out there?" Molly asked.

"He likes taking walks before supper. He'll probably be back soon." Sarita said.

"I hope he gets back before it storms." Walter frowned.

"I'm sure he'll be fine, Walt. You know he can take care of himself." Kenny said.

"Yeah, I know." Walter said.

"So, Clem, we were just talkin...What's the dealwith the kid? What's his name... Luke? He in charge? Do you trust him?" Kenny asked.

"Kenny, please." Sarita sighed.

"Sarita, we don't know these folks." Kenny said.

"They seem nice." Sarita replied.

"Yeah, well, gators seem nice too, til they bite your damn arm off." Was Kenny's bitter response.

"Kenny!" Sarita gasped.

"I like him. He's a good guy." Clementine said.

"Would you trust him with your life?" Kenny asked.

"I think so?" Clementine said.

"How long have you two know these folks?" Kenny asked, looking to Molly.

"Not too long, but they haven't stabbed us in the back yet." Molly said.

"Key word is "yet"." Kenny replied.

"I don't think they'd want to try. I can still, kick ass, old man." Molly said.

Kenny shot her a look but decided to change the subject. "That guy, big Al. He said they were on the run."

Clementine and Molly exchanged looks.

"Some people are after them." Clementine said.

"Well you don't have to worry about that no more. They'll go tomorrow and you two can stay here." Kenny said.

"Absolutely. You can stay with us as long as you want." Sarita said.

"We... can't leave our friends." Clementine said.

"We'll consider it." Molly said.

"What?" Clementine asked, looking at her guardian with shock.

"Clem, those people aren't our friends... We need to do what's best for us..." Molly said.

"I don't wanna leave them..." Clementine frowned. "They are my friends."

"Look, Clem, it ain't safe out there. You should stay here; where you don't have to worry about looking over your shoulder every five minutes." Kenny said.

"Like I said, we'll consider it." Molly said.

"I don't give a damn what you said. Clem's staying for good!" Kenny snapped.

"She's in my care, old man." Molly retorted.

"Well, now that she's here, I'll be taking over, I doubt you know shit about looking after a kid." Kenny said.

"I've done it for two years. Like hell I'm gonna let you just take over now." Molly replied.

"It's not your choice to make. This is what Lee would want. I knew him! You didn't know jackshit about him, because you ditched us after a damn day." Kenny said.

"I wasn't aware that your group had become my responsibility." Molly said.

"We weren't. And neither is Clem!" Kenny snapped.

"Back off, asshole. I kicked your ass before and I'm not afraid to do it again. I haven't been slacking off either."

"S-Stop! Stop fighting!" Clementine pleaded.

"Kenny, stop. You're upsetting Clem." Sarita said.

Kenny sighed, "I'm sorry, hon. I didn't mean it…"

"Whatever… Just eat your food, Clem…" Molly said.

The argument had caught the attention of Luke and Nick who approached and took a seat at the table.

"Hey there." Kenny greeted after a few seconds of silence.

"Hey." Luke greeted back.

"Hope you like the food." Kenny said.

"Oh, it's...it's great. Thank you." Luke replied.

"Peaches and beans. Great for nutrition. Not too great on the way out, though, I tell ya." Kenny laughed while Clementine scrunched her face in disgust. "So it's Luke...and Nick. Luke and Nick. You guys sure do look like a match."

Both men looked offended by that.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Nick inquired.

"I'm just sayin', you look like good friends, that's all." Kenny said.

Nick shot him a glare but said nothing.

"So what was your plan here? Hold out for the winter?" Luke asked.

"Actually, we were thinkin' of movin' on. Somewhere up north. You ever heard of a place called Wellington?" Kenny asked.

"Wellington? The hell is that?" Luke questioned.

"A place." Kenny replied.

"What kind of place?" Luke asked.

"A good one, Einstein." Kenny sarcastically said.

"Yeah. It's in the north. Molly and I were gonna go there." Clementine said.

"Supposed to be a big camp up near Michigan." Kenny said.

"Michigan?" Nick echoed.

Kenny shot him a look. "You got a hearing problem, kid? Yeah, Michigan. Think about it. Fresh water, lots of land, and cold-ass winters, so the walkers get slow."

"Sounds like bullshit." Nick simply said.

Kenny slammed his hands on the table, baring his teeth. "Listen, Vanilla Ice, I don't know what your deal is, but you're more than welcome to take off in the morning."

Nick shrugged. "Well, that'd be just fine by me."

"What's the deal with these guys, Clem?" Kenny huffed.

"Hey, fuck you, buddy." Nick snapped.

"It's fine, Nick. We're not stayin'." Luke sighed.

Kenny pointed to Clementine. "SHE'S stayin'."

"Wh-'scuse me?" Luke asked, looking shocked.

"You heard me." Kenny said.

"Not happening. Clementine doesn't go anywhere without me." Molly said.

"Who the hell made YOU in charge of her?" Kenny demanded.

"Please. Don't fight." Clementine said, covering her ears from the noise.

"Everyone, please. There's no need for this. Now, look, we've all had a long day. Please, eat." Walter said.

The table went quiet as they continued eating a bit awkwardly.

"Pass me that can, Duck." Kenny's eyes widened and he gasped as he realized what he said.

"Duck? Who's Duck?" Luke asked.

"Duck was his son..." Clementine sadly answered.

"Hey, uh… Clementine. Would you, uh, lend me a hand outside for a moment?" Walter asked

Clementine looked to Molly, silently asking for permission.

"Go ahead." Molly said.

Clementine nodded, standing up. She followed Walter to the exit.

"I'm sorry about that." Walter sighed, sensing how uncomfortable the poor child was. "I used to be a teacher. And I remember what it's like to be caught in the middle of two cliques. I suspect they'll find common ground soon enough. It may take a little time, but that's just how these things work. Everything will be fine. Listen, relationships are like any machine. You don't throw them out when they break down. You get your hands dirty and you grease the wheels. What do you say? Will you help me work on them?"

Clementine didn't bother responding. She didn't know how to fix this, or if it could be fixed.

"You know…they say the world is over, but I'll tell you a secret: it's not. People are more political now than they ever were before. In the end, we can't change the world. All we can do is continue to learn from each other; to empathize and use our heads. "All war is a symptom of man's failure as a thinking animal." Steinbeck. Have you read him?"

Clementine looked confused and shook her head.

"Well, we have plenty of time to catch you up on your reading. Matthew is amassing quite the literature collection. In any case, the point is: as long as we have our wits about us, we can always make the right choice. Right?" Walter said.

"Right." Clementine said.

"Hey, kids. What are you two talkin' about?"

Clementine nearly flinched as she heard Kenny's voice.

"Oh, politics." Walter said.

"The hell?" Kenny raised a brow.

"Being from Florida, I would imagine you know all about politics, Kenny." Walter said.

"Man, I know one advantage of living in the apocalypse is not dealin' with that shit no more. I was just gonna check the windows 'round back before this storm hits. Give us a hand?"

"Sure."

The trio turns the corner only to find a woman looking into the windows of the lodge. Kenny takes a step forward, but Walter puts his hand on his shoulder to stop him.

"Miss?" Walter called.

The woman jumps, surprised to see them, and puts her hands up after noticing that Kenny is carrying a rifle. "Please. Do you have any food?"

"Are you okay?" Walter asked her.

"I saw the house, and...I have a family. We're starving. We live down there." She pointed down the hill.

"Of course. Why don't you come in, miss...?" Walter trailed off.

"Bonnie." The woman introduced.

"Walt, I don't know. You're just gonna let her in like that?" Kenny asked.

"It's fine, Kenny." Walter said.

Kenny shook his head. "We don't know this girl."

"Then we'll have to GET to know her, right, Clem?" Walter asked.

Clementine furrowed her own brows.

"Walt." Kenny muttered.

"How much damage can this poor woman do?" Walter asked.

"We should check her for weapons…" Clementine suggested.

"Yeah…" Kenny agreed.

"Guys, don't be like that… She just needs help." Walter said.

"Thank you, really, but that storm'll be on us soon and I gotta get back to my family." Bonnie said.

"I'll bring something out to you then." Walter offered.

"You don't have to do that." Bonnie said.

"No, no, it's fine." Walter said.

"What about your people?" Bonnie asked.

"We've got plenty. You stay put. I'll be right back." Walter headed inside to grab some supplies.

Bonnie looked to Clementine who crossed her arms, not trusting the woman. "I have a little girl like you. How old are you, sweetie?"

"I'm eleven…" Clementine answered.

"I would've thought older." Bonnie smiled at the little girl.

Walter returns and hands Bonnie a cardboard box. "Here you are, miss."

Bonnie looks shocked. "This… This is too much."

"Don't mention it." Walter said.

"I don't know how to thank you." Bonnie said.

Walter smiled. "Just help someone else down the line."

"Thank you so much. I'll be goin' now." Bonnie said.

Walter nodded. "You stay safe."

"You too." Bonnie said.

Kenny waited until the woman had walked away before sighing. "Clem go on inside and get to bed. Walt and I gotta talk for a second."

The young girl headed inside without protest.

In the middle of the night, Clementine awoke with a start. A strong wind had risen; it was really dark and the windows rattled as raindrops dashed against the glass.

Thunder roared from outside. Clementine forced herself out of her bed. The blowing wind carried shrill creaking noises that sent chills through the child's spine.

"Clem..." Molly called, sitting up. "What's wrong?"

Clementine didn't respond as she went to the window and peered outside.

"Clementine?"

"It's raining..." Clementine mumbled.

"I know, kiddo. Go back to sleep, okay." Molly said. "Come on…"

"Where's Sam?" Clementine asked her guardian.

Molly looked around the room. The dog wasn't there.

However, when she suddenly heard barking downstairs the question was answered.

As the wind blew harder the wind turbine had started spinning faster. The noise was loud and caused concern from the others within the lodge.

"Shit... That's not good." Molly muttered.

"What the hell is going on?" Luke's tired voice was heard in the hall.

"The wind turbine's spinning out of control! That thing's a damn dinner bell. We gotta shut it down!" Kenny said.

"Nick, help me carry the guns." Carlos said.

Sarita's eyes widen. "Guns?!"

The adults and Clementine headed downstairs and Nick and Carlos began grabbing weapons.

"Where's Matthew?" Sarita asked, noticing he wasn't there.

"He's not back yet?" Molly asked surprised.

"He probably took shelter from the storm in the station. I'm sure he's fine." Kenny said.

Suddenly a loud booming sound is heard.

"What the fuck?" Kenny muttered.

Before he could say another word, the power to the lodge cuts out.

"Damn it. Transformer musta gone. Gotta check it. I could use a hand." Kenny said.

"I'll go with you." Luke offered.

"I'm going too." Sarita said.

Kenny shook his head. "No. It's too dangerous. Rest of you, get that thing shut down."

The others nodded.

Clementine frowned; she had a bad feeling that she couldn't shake. Something wasn't right…
