Chapter contains some disturbing content.
Clementine felt sick. He couldn't be expecting her to just strip her undergarments for him. This man really was insane. She wasn't going to do that. "No." She refused.
"It's not a request, honey. It's an order." Carver said. "You can take it off, or I can do it for you."
"I won't! You're crazy!" Clementine said. "I- I won't take off my clothes for you."
Carver smiled at the child's clear embarrassment. "You don't know crazy, Clementine."
"I'm looking right at it!" Clementine replied.
Carver couldn't help but chuckle at the small child's bold respond. When people said kids spoke honestly, they really meant it. "Maybe I am crazy… But I know what I want. Now strip."
"No!"
Carver glared at the child. "Fine…"
The girl hoped he was giving up.
"I'll strip you myself." Carver said.
"Wh-What?" The girl stammered.
"Strip, or I'll strip you out there and let everyone watch." Carver said to her.
"Fuck you," Clementine moved to get away from him.
"Uh, uh, uh..." Carver said as he got closer.
"No... W-Why are you doing this?" Clementine asked.
"Because I want to. Now do as you're told, or it will be worse for you!" Carver ordered.
Clementine still refused.
"This is MY community. What I say goes! You'll play by my rules, or you'll be punished." Carver said. "Either you strip, or I'll strip you. Even if I have to knock you unconscious to do it."
Clementine glared at him, "I'll tell."
"Go right ahead, honey." Carver replied. "Tell whoever you want."
Clementine fought against him to the best of her ability as he grabbed her and began removing the last of her clothing. She tried to scream only for him to cover her mouth with one hand while keeping her pinned with the other.
"Settle down, honey. Don't scream." Carver hushed. "I don't want to have to shoot you."
Clementine felt his hand slowly move from her mouth, and softly stroke her cheek, the girl was trembling in fear.
His face was so close to her own, for a brief second, Clementine feared he was going to kiss her.
The girl spit in his face. Carver narrowed his eyes, and immediately slapped the child. "You'll be sorry for that later, bitch."
Clementine couldn't help but whimper a bit. "L-Let me go..."
The girl's breathing picked up as she noticed a strange look in the man's eyes. He held her still for another moment before releasing her.
"I think your world is going to change very quickly and very soon. I'll check in on you later, if I catch you going against my rules, you'll be punished. Until then, you're going right back to the pen, where you belong." Carver said.
Clementine tried to understand what had just happened. Why did he force her out of her clothes? What was that strange glint in his eyes?
The girl hated to admit it, but this man terrified her.
The walk back to the pen was completely embarrassing. Clementine could feel eyes on her nude body as she was led to the pen by Tavia. The child's face and body were flushed with embarrassment, as she felt total humiliation.
Upon returning to the pen, Clementine noticed she wasn't the only one there.
She noticed Sarah was sitting beside Rebecca who was comforting her.
Tavia shoved Clementine into the pen closing the gate. Clementine frowned, feeling self-conscious as she did her best to cover herself.
"Clem, oh god…" Rebecca frowned when she spotted the child. "Are you okay?"
Clementine stayed put, shaking her head.
"Come here, sweetie." Rebecca urged the child over, offering her a light blanket.
Seeing the blanket, Clementine hesitantly walked over.
"Where are the rest your clothes?" Rebecca asked.
"H-He took them…" Clementine said in a small voice.
"Bill… That asshole." Rebecca huffed, as she wrapped the blanket around the girl. "He didn't hurt you or anything, did he?"
"Not much… He… He just slapped me." Clementine said.
"He has no right." Rebecca said. "That fucking asshole."
"…Are you okay? Sarah, are you okay?" Clementine asked.
"I'm fine, the baby was just kicking. I needed a break. And Sarah… She's just upset after what happened with her father." Rebecca said.
"I don't blame her for being upset…" Clementine said. "Carver's a really bad person."
"Yeah… He is…" Rebecca said.
Clementine turned to Sarah, "Sarah, are you okay? I know it's...it's gotta be hard." Clementine asked the teen.
"...My dad's never hit me before... Even when I was really bad...he never hit me." Sarah muttered.
"Your dad didn't want to... Carver made him. So, in a strange way… Carver's the one that hit you, not your dad." Clementine said.
"I... I guess so..." Sarah said.
"Yeah...you know, you can kinda control it sometimes...how much it hurts. It takes practice." Clementine said.
"Really? I don't want to practice that." Sarah said.
"I don't think anyone does." Clementine replied.
"Thanks...for trying to help..." Sarah said, wiping her eyes. "I don't know why people have to be so mean... Like, even when I'm really mad, I still don't want to hurt anyone..."
"That's just the way people are… I wish they weren't so mean too…" Clementine said. "We're going to be okay, though. We're going to get out of here… We're going to get out of here really soon."
"I hope you're right, Clementine." Rebecca said. "I hope you're right…"
When night fell and the rest of the group was brought to the pen, Molly was furious to see that Carver had taken what remained of Clementine's clothes.
She angrily demanded to the guards that she be allowed to speak with the leader of the community, but her demand was refused.
The others tried to calm her to no avail. Kenny only help rile her anger up, with his own.
It wasn't until Clementine pleaded for them to calm down that they settled a bit. She knew their tempers would only make things worse.
"Look, I'm sure whatever happened, Bill had a good explanation for doing…" Reggie said.
"Really? You think he has a good explanation for stripping my kid's clothes?!" Molly snapped.
"Molly, please calm down. It's okay…." Clementine said.
"It's not okay, Clem. He has no right." Molly said. "I swear, if I get the chance, I'll kill that bastard."
"If you try, you'll just be making things worse for all of us." Reggie said. "I'm already in hot water with Bill… Please, just… try not to draw any negative attention here…"
Molly shot him a glare.
"I know it's hard to believe right now, but if you give this place a chance, I'm sure you'll realize how safe it is…" Reggie said.
"Does my girl look safe to you?" Molly inquired.
"Ain't no point of fighting with him. It's clear this guy is brainwashed." Kenny spoke up.
Reggie looked offended by Kenny's word. "I'm open-minded. And I think you people should try to be more open-minded as well."
"Reggie… I think it might be best to stop talking to them for now." Rebecca suggested.
"Yeah…. Okay…" Reggie sighed before turning to walk away.
Molly glared at his back as he walked off. However, a tug on her sleeve drew her attention to Clementine.
"Can we go to bed now?" Clementine asked.
"Yeah, kiddo. Are you tired?" Molly asked.
Clementine gave a nod. "I have to give Rebecca her blanket back…"
"No, sweetie. It's okay." Rebecca reassured the child. "You keep it."
"But- But what if you get cold?" Clementine asked.
"I'll be fine. You hold onto it." Rebecca said.
"T-Thank you…" Clementine said.
"Come on, Clem…" Molly wrapped an arm around the child and led her to cots.
Clementine laid down and tried to sleep.
Molly did her best to keep the young girl warm. "You okay, kiddo?"
Clementine took a moment to respond. "No… I hate it here…"
"I know you do…. We'll get out of here soon." Molly said.
"Promise?"
"I promise." Molly said.
"Okay…" Clementine muttered. "Do… Do you think Sam's okay? Do you think Luke's okay?"
"I'm not gonna lie to you kid. I don't know… But I sure as hell hope they are." Molly replied.
"Me too…"
"…Just try to get some rest." Molly said. "Alright."
Clementine nodded in response. All she could do was try. Eventually Clementine did manage to drift off. Molly sighed, she needed to get them the fuck out of here.
That evening Carver checked in with some of his guards before turning in. "It's been a rough first day, but I'm positive that things will turn around for the better. Those people will remain in the pen until they agree with our ways. And as such I ask that you all continue to monitor and report to me on any misbehavior."
"Bill, I need to talk to you…" A guard spoke.
"What is it, Cordell?" Carver said.
"The woman from the pen… The one who was demanding to see you," Cordell spoke. "I… know her…"
"Is that so?" Carver asked.
Cordell nodded. "Her and her little girl. They were at that town I was from… The one that got overrun…"
Carver was surprised to hear that. "I thought you said everyone one there died."
"I thought that was the case. People were dying all around me… But those two… That woman is a survivalist, and she's training her little one to be the same…" Cordell said. "Those two… they're probably the most capable survivors I've seen in my lifetime."
"That's good. We could use them." Carver said.
Cordell shook his head. "Bill, you don't understand. If they're capable of surviving alone all this time, who knows how much else they're capable of. And if they're not with us- they're against us. They'll find a way out of here, even if it means getting us all killed."
"Don't be paranoid, Cordell. I have them handled." Carver said. "And I'm sure I'll be able to convince them to cooperate with helping our community…"
"I hope you do…" Cordell sighed.
"When have I even mishandled a situation?" Carver replied.
Before Cordell could respond Bonnie approached.
"Bill, can I have a word with you?" Bonnie spoke suddenly.
"Not now, Bonnie… Can't you see I'm in the middle of something?" Carver huffed.
"But Bill… It's important… About Clem, you gotta give her clothes back… She can't just go around like that." Bonnie said.
"That girl likes to stash weapons in her clothes. That girl isn't innocent. She's dangerous, Bonnie." Carver replied.
"If you think she's dangerous, why bring her here?" Cordell asked.
"I know she's dangerous. And I've seen what the little one's capable of, but I haven't seen her full potential. If trained right, she could be useful to all of us." Carver said. "Trust me on this… And Bonnie, if she wants her clothes back, she'll have to earn them."
Bonnie frowned at that.
"I'm turning in. You all should two. We have a lot of work to do tomorrow." Carver said.
It was early morning when Clementine found herself being nudged awake.
"Kid, get up." A voice spoke.
The child opened her eyes, flinching a bit at the harsh nudging.
Molly was also woken by the movement and rose a brow. "What's going on?"
"Bill wants to see the girl…" Tavia said.
"Well that's too bad. My girl stays with me." Molly said, sitting up and keeping the child close.
"She'll follow Bill's rules and so will you. You and the others are going to work, and she's going to see Bill." Tavia said.
"Over my dead body, will I let her go to that asshole." Molly refused to give in.
"That can be arranged." Tavia replied raising her weapon, only for Bonnie to intervene.
"Tavia, stop. There's no need for that." Bonnie said. "Look, Bill just wants to talk to her."
"I don't care what he wants. That's not gonna happen!" Molly snapped.
Their noise was drawing attention from others.
"He just wants to talk to her." Bonnie said.
"Bullshit. He stripped my girl's clothes, for all I know he's a fucking pedophile." Molly said. "I don't trust him. I don't want him near her."
"Bill not a pedophile. He would never hurt a child." Bonnie said, looking horrified that Molly would even suggest such a thing.
Tavia was starting to get annoyed, "We don't have time for this. Just let the girl go, before Bill-"
"She's not going to see him." Molly cut her off.
"She is. Stop being difficult!" Tavia snapped. "If I have to pull this trigger, I will."
"D-Don't! I- I'll go." Clementine squirmed her way out of her guardian's arms. "I'll go talk to him."
"Clem, no. You're not." Molly argued.
"It's okay, Molly." Clementine said. "I'll be okay."
"It's not okay, kid." Molly said in a stern tone.
"I don't want anyone to get hurt because of me… I'll be okay. I promise…" Clementine said.
Molly frowned but nodded. "If he does anything, anything at all- you let me know."
"I will." Clementine said. Before standing, and hesitantly dropping the blanket.
"Let's go." Tavia ordered.
"I take it you're a smart girl. Strong, capable…" Carver said.
Clementine didn't know what the man was getting at. She just wished he would leave her alone. She did her best to cover herself as she sat in the chair in front of him. But he didn't seem to care.
"How long were you with this group, Clementine?" Carver asked the child.
"Does it really matter? I'm with them now." Clementine replied.
"I'm just curious? Was it just you and Molly before you met them?" Carver questioned.
"Maybe…" Clementine said, keeping a vague as possible.
Carver rose a brow at her clipped response. "…Well, maybe it should've stayed that way. Look what these people got you wrapped up in." Carver said.
Clementine didn't respond.
"I'll cut to the chase… I called you here with an offer. I'm sure you don't enjoy going around without anything to wear."
"Of course I don't…" Clementine said.
"Well, we can change that. If you agree to my deal…" Carver said. "You work with me, be my eyes on the inside. Let me know everything that little group is up to. And in exchange I'll return your clothes."
"No." Clementine said.
"Come again?"
"I said no. I won't turn on my group." Clementine replied.
"You're loyal. I like that… But think about it, honey. Would they do the same for you?" Carver asked. "Now I'll make my offer again. Accept my offer and you can get dressed right away."
"I said no. I'll never betray my group!" Clementine snapped.
"How disappointing…" Carver huffed. "I guess you don't want your clothes back then."
"Why don't you just give me back my clothes and let us go?" Clementine shot back.
"That won't be happening. You're not leaving… Now that you're here, you'll stay." Carver said. "No matter how much you like it here, or don't like it here, you'll never leave."
Clementine remained silent, glaring at the man. She really hated him.
"I'll let you think on my offer, until then I'll hold on to your clothes." Carver said.
"Why did you take them in the first place?" Clementine asked him, annoyed at his words.
"You were check multiple times for weapons. You killed one of my men. Then you were checked again before we left that lodge and still had weapons hidden. You came at me with a knife, honey. That was a bold move. Your clothes were taken as a punishment." Carver said.
"My weapons were for my protection." Clementine retorted.
"I know that, honey. But now they're gone. You have no protection anymore. You're completely at my mercy." Carver replied.
"What mercy?! You killed people too, you kidnapped us! We don't want to be here; we want to leave!" Clementine snapped.
"Too bad we can't always have what we want." Carver said. "But I will tell you this, honey. If you want your clothes back, you'll accept my offer."
"I won't ever work with you." Clementine said. "You can go to hell."
Carver chuckled at this. "Hopefully you'll come around soon. Until then, your clothes stay with me." Clementine continued to glare at the man who nonchalantly reached for his walkie talkie.
"Tavia, come get the girl." He ordered.
"On my way." Tavia response came through moments later.
Clementine still said nothing. She was convinced though, that Carver was truly evil.
It was quickly established that Clementine was nothing more than a supply runner for their town. She spent the majority of her day going from place to place delivering supplies. Sometimes crawling into small areas to retrieve a tool or something.
The fact that she had to work in the nude embarrassed her. They purposely kept her away from her group during the day and would have her work with others. She knew people talked about her lack of clothing however, word spread throughout the day of why she was naked. And whispers soon went around that she was a weapon smuggler and a murderer. She would get harsh looks from some people in the community. She hated it.
After the workday ended and she was finally brought back to the pen, she beamed the minute she noticed Molly. She rushed over to her guardian and hugged her.
"Oh, thank God! Clem, are you okay? Did that asshole hurt you?" Kenny rushed over as well.
Clementine shook her head. "N-No… He… He didn't."
"What did he want? What did he say to you?" Molly asked.
Rebecca came over as well and offered the child the blanket again, which Clementine was grateful for. "He didn't touch you or anything, right Clem?"
"No. Touch me how?" Clementine was confused by the question.
"Just… Just tell us what happened. We were all worried. What did he want?" Molly asked as she and Rebecca led the child to take a seat. Kenny followed them over.
"He… He wanted me to be like his spy." Clementine said.
"What do you mean?" Nick asked.
"He said he would give my clothes back if I told him everything that went on in the pen. Like a spy…" Clementine said.
"Fuck that! What did you tell him?" Kenny asked.
"I told him no."
"Why would you do that?" Nick asked the child.
"What?" Clementine asked.
"Why wouldn't you just tell him something so you could get your clothes back." Nick questioned.
"Did you not hear what she just said. She said he wants her to be his messenger and tell him everything." Molly pointed out.
"She could just lie." Nick said.
"And where would that get her. Sometimes it better to not say anything at all. Besides, there's a chance he was bullshitting about giving her clothes back." Molly said.
"I didn't say anything because I don't want anyone to suffer because me… And… if I did lie and he found out, it would only make him angry. I just want to leave…" Clementine said.
"I know… And we will, we're gonna find a way out of here soon." Molly said.
"I hope so…" Clementine murmured.
Later into the night as the others headed to sleep Clementine and Molly began once again searching for weak spot in the pen. The place was secure for the most part. It would be hard to get out of there.
Clementine approached the gate, tugging at it a bit.
"Wh-What are you doing?"
The voice made Clementine jump, she quickly turned to see Reggie.
"Can you not do that? That'll definitely get us in trouble. Bill's relying on me to make sure everyone's doing right in here." Reggie said.
"We're not doing anything wrong. He's keeping us trapped in here like animals!" Clementine argued.
"He's not treating us like animals. He's just… He's doing his best to keep everyone here safe." Reggie replied.
"Is that why he took my girl's clothes?" Molly rolled her eyes as she approached. "You really think he has a valid reason for the things he does?"
"He's-"
"He's crazy, that's what he is." Molly said, interrupting the man. "Screw him, and- Fuck it… Let's just go to bed, Clem. We'll figure something out in the morning."
"Okay…" Clementine reluctantly agreed. She followed her guardian to lay down. She just hoped they could get out of this "prison" soon.
When morning came, they were once again, harshly woken. However, this time it wasn't by one of the guards. It was Carver himself.
"Get up," The man gritted out. "Both of you get up, now."
Clementine felt her stomach drop as she wondered why the man was so angry.
"I took her clothes as a punishment. I didn't give her a blanket because she doesn't deserve it!" Carver hissed. "First I hear from Reggie about how you two were causing trouble last night. And now I see you going against my punishment."
"You know what, screw you!" Molly said as she stood up. "What kind of sick fuck strips a little kid out of their clothes? You're a sick old bastard. Probably fantasizing about touching her!"
Carver glared at the woman and then suddenly raised a hand to hit her. However, she grabbed at his arm, twisting it. Molly then proceeded to kick him in the leg, sending him to the ground. With him down, she reached for his gun only to hear a voice order, "Drop it!"
A moment later she felt a weapon press to her head, and she dropped the weapon then raised her hands as of sign of surrendering.
"You fucking bitch…" Carver gritted out. "Get her out of here." He ordered to the guards.
"N-No! Don't hurt her!" Clementine said.
"Shut it! Get her out of here now." Carver said. "This won't go unpunished."
Two of the guards seized the woman's arms and began to drag her out. Molly didn't fight, she didn't regret her actions.
"It's okay, Clem." Molly called to her.
"No! Please don't hurt her!" Clementine pleaded as her guardian was forced away by the guards.
Bonnie walked towards the girl and held the child back as Molly was forced from the pen.
Molly remained calm all the while. She could handle herself; it was Clementine she wanted to keep safe.
"Where should we take her?" One of the guards asked.
Carver seemed to ponder on his question for a moment then spoke, "Strip her clothes. Let her feel the embarrassment that her girl feels." Carver ordered. "Then throw her out of here. Take her far away, maybe to that damn lodge. And then, kill her right next to her little friends."
"If you're gonna kill me, why don't you just do it here?" Molly scoffed.
"I'd like for them to break you first." Carver simply replied.
Molly met his cold gaze with an angry look of her own, "Good luck with that."
"Get her out of here." Carver said.
It wasn't long before Molly found herself forced out of her clothing and tied up. She was then thrown into the back of a dark truck by two of Carver's men, and the drive began in silence. She needed to get back to her girl. She needed to get them out of there.
She knew if they were taking her to the lodge the drive would be a long one. At least that would give her time to loosen her bindings.
The woman began working on the ropes that were restraining her wrists.
She needed to get out of this situation.
When Clementine found herself brought into Carver's office later, she was confused. She was concerned when she noticed Molly wasn't there. The woman had yet to return to the pen.
"W-Where's Molly?" The child asked.
"That's what I wanted to talk to you about…" Carver said. "Your friend was… very aggressive… and sometimes my guards react without my order… Now the guard who pulled the trigger will receive a punishment for that, but your friend should have known that there would be consequences for her actions.
"Wh-What?" Clementine asked.
"Molly's dead, Clementine. She was shot…" Carver said to the girl.
"No…" Clementine shook her head. Molly was tough, she couldn't be dead... "That's not true! She's not dead!"
"She is, honey… I'm sorry…" Carver said.
"She's not! She's not dead!" Clementine fought back tears. "You're lying to me! You're lying!"
"What reason do I have to lie?" Carver asked. "She's dead, Clementine… I thought it would only be right to let you know."
"She's not dead! She's not dead! She's NOT DEAD!" Clementine chanted. "I want to see her, let me see her!"
"She's gone, kid. She made her choices and faced her consequence. I'll have to say, she fought until her end." Carver said, forcing a tone filled with pity.
Clementine found that she couldn't hold back tears that were filling her eyes.
Noticing this Carver held back a smile as he said, "Come here, honey-"
"Get away! Get away, don't touch me!" Clementine snapped, slapping his hands away.
Within an instant, her little body was wrecked with sobs. She hated this, she hated that she was crying in front of him. She hated the idea of Molly being dead. She hated Carver!
Carver took the chance to pick her up. The girl struggled for a moment or two but gave up as he would not release his grip.
"It's okay. You have ever right to be upset, honey." Carver said. "But you're gonna be okay now. "I'll take care of you."
The man sat at his desk with the child in his lap. The girl was tense as he held her close, rocking her a bit. She tried to calm herself and pull away, but he kept a grip on her.
"I-I hate you…" Clementine said through tears.
"You don't mean that, honey." Carver said.
"You took her away from me!" The child spat. "I HATE YOU!"
Carver didn't take her words to heart. Her simply held her close. This was the first step… the first step in breaking her. "Shh… You have every right to be upset. You have every right."
"Let me go…" Clementine said, her body still shaking as she tried to calm her cries.
Carver refused, simply shushing her.
She continued to cry despite trying not to. She cried because she missed Molly, she cried because she felt guilty. She cried because she was exhausted and frustrated. She wanted out of this place so bad.
Through her sobs, she soon realizes that Carver is pressing light kisses to her cheeks, all the while shushing her.
She felt like she would throw up.
Carver refused to let her leave his office all that night and even the next day. No one came looking for her. Clementine wondered if they were worried. She was sure Kenny threw a fit about her not returning to the pen.
Clementine spent the day lost in thought. Several times she had asked to go back to the pen Carver would refuse. She didn't understand why.
The man had spent most of the day, holding her, against her will. The confused the child even more.
"Can I ask you something?" Clementine spoke in a small voice.
"Of course." Carver said.
"How- How did Molly die? Who pulled the trigger?" Clementine asked.
"That doesn't matter, honey." Carver said.
"It matters to me!" Clementine exclaimed.
"Why's that?" Carver asked.
"Because I want to make them pay." Clementine said.
"What happened to Molly is just an example of what will happen to anyone who goes against me." Carver replied.
"You did it on purpose! You got her killed on purpose! I wish she would've killed you all!" Clementine snaps at him.
"Settle down, Clementine." Carver said, his tone threatening.
"Let me leave! I fucking hate it here!" Clementine snapped.
"I said settle down." Carver repeats himself with a stern glare. "That's not very nice, honey Especially after I've been so kind to you."
"Fuck you. I swear when I get the chance, I'll kill you." Clementine said.
"You'll kill me?" Carver smirked. "That's a bold statement coming from you, honey. You're small… defenseless. Naked. I could do whatever I want to you."
Clementine felt her heart began pounding as the man stood and started to approach her. "Don't-Don't touch me!"
"Shh… Don't fight me, honey. You wouldn't win…" Carver speaks, as he seized her by the arm and pins her to his desk in one swift movement.
Clementine's eyes widen and her heart pounds fast. "W-What-?"
"Shh…" Carver presses a finger to her lips as he looks her in the eyes. "You need to learn to play by my rules, honey."
She is confused by the man's words. Nonetheless, the girl struggles to get him to let her sit up. Soon enough he allows her to do so.
"You want to go back to the pen, that's fine." Carver said. "But you go back when I say you can. I don't care what you think, or how things were before. But you live by my rules now. What I say goes. You're mine, honey."
"I'm not yours." Clementine said.
"Yes, you are. You'll learn that soon enough." Carver said.
Clementine head was racing at his words. Why would he say that? What was wrong with him?
"Bonnie, come bring Clementine to the pen." Carver spoke into his radio.
"Right away, Bill." Bonnie spoke.
Clementine sighed in relief. If being in the pen meant being away from him, so be it.
Molly didn't know how long it was before the truck finally stopped. They had been driving for hours. All she knew was her bindings were loose, and she needed to be ready to strike as soon as that door opened.
She waited, hearing muffled complains through the door about the vehicle being "low on gas".
She inwardly swore, this vehicle would be an easy trip back. She would have to find out just how much gas was left.
Before long the door open and the two men smirked at her.
"Hello there. Rise and shine, sweetheart." One of the men said.
"Fuck you…" Molly huffed.
"Oh, I'd love to… In fact before we kill you, that's exactly what we'll do." The second man replied.
Molly glared at them, as the first man kept his gun aimed at her. She noticed the second man hand his gun holster on his side.
"Get out." The first man ordered.
Molly huffed and did so.
"Now why don't you get on your knees and suck my dick." The second man suggested.
Molly said nothing as she dropped to her knees.
"Obedient little bitch. I like her." The first man said.
"Go on." The second man said. "Suck."
Molly glared at him and moved a hand to her zipper.
"She's a hot little bitch, we're gonna fuck her all night." The first man said.
"After that long as drive it'll be worth it." The second man said.
Molly kept her hand on the man's zipper slowly easing it down. However, she used her other hand to reach for his gun. She quickly shot the second man in the chest, before whipping around to aim the gun at the first man.
"Wh-What the FUCK?! I-I'll shoot first bitch!" The man said, clearly shaken up by what she had done.
"You sure about that?" Molly inquired. "Drop the gun!"
The man didn't instead he followed through with his threat and pulled the trigger. Molly moved and the bullet hit the man who she had already shot.
"Oh shit!" Molly took the change to rush forward and struggle to yank the gun from the first man's hands. She quickly got the upper hand. She snatched the weapon from him and aimed both guns to him. "Take your clothes off." Molly ordered.
"Wh-What?"
"Take your fucking clothes off!" Molly ordered.
Shaking in fear, the man began to do so.
"Hurry the fuck up!" Molly ordered.
The man quickly stripped from his shirt, followed by his pants. While his friend laid bleeding out on the ground.
Shaking the man stammered, "D-Done! Please, don't shoot me."
"Take those off too." Molly ordered, aiming the gun towards his crotch.
The man slowly slid his underwear down, still shaking.
"Not as impressing as you think." Molly said.
"Please don't- I did what you said, I don't wanna die." The man pleaded.
"You should've thought about that before you tried to rape me." Molly aimed the gun higher, leveled with his head, and pulled the trigger.
"What did Bill want you for, City mouse?" Bonnie asked as she walked with the child towards the pen.
"I don't know…" Clementine lied. "I don't like him."
Bonnie sighed at that. "He takes some getting used to."
"I'll never like him. H-He killed my friend." Clementine said. "And I hope he dies soon."
Bonnie gasped at the small girl's words. "Clementine, don't talk like that."
"It's true." Clementine said. "He deserves to die."
"Hush… You're just a little girl. You shouldn't be talking that way…" Bonnie said.
Clementine didn't bother responding. Everyone who followed Carver was out of their minds. She was convinced of that. They would justify each and every one of his actions no matter what he did.
They continued to walk in silence. Bonnie was now trailing a bit behind her but seemed to pause upon noticing something with the fence. "Damn, another hole… We'll have to get this patched up tomorrow…" Bonnie sighed. "Sit tight for a second, Clem."
"Okay…" Clementine muttered.
Bonnie began to examine the fence while Clementine stood nearby.
The child looked around for a few second before deciding, this was her chance. She could find a way out of here. She didn't want to leave her group behind, but maybe from the outside, she'd have a better chance at helping them out.
With Bonnie distracted the child started to walk away, the redhead didn't even noticed.
The child began looking for an unguarded exit, however she gasped when she suddenly felt herself grabbed from behind.
"What do we have here? A lost little kitten." The man said.
"D-Don't touch me." Clementine said, trying to sound tough.
"Why not. You're not wearing anything. Now's the perfect opportunity to touch you." The man said.
"I'll- I'll scream." Clementine said.
"Go right ahead, girly. I don't think anyone will care." The man replied.
Clementine struggled against the man, screaming loudly for help.
Help didn't seem to come, and before long the child found herself pinned to the ground. She tried her best to fight but her struggles seemed to be useless.
"P-Please…" She whimpered.
The man ignored her, keeping her pinned.
"Get the hell off her!" Bonnie's voice was suddenly heard as the woman aimed her gun at the man.
The man flinched and quickly removed himself from the child.
"You best believe Bill's gonna hear about this!" Bonnie snapped as the man practically ran off.
Bonnie then proceeded to help Clementine to her feet. The child was trembling and clearly frightened. "Are you okay, Clem?"
The girl didn't respond.
Bonnie frowned and hugged her. "Gosh, you can't wander off like that. You could've gotten really hurt." Bonnie sighed when the child still said nothing. "Come on, let's get you back to the pen…"
As soon as Bonnie allowed the child into the pen the others were surround her with questions and concerned expression.
"Thank God you're okay," Kenny tried to hug the child, but she backed away.
"D-Don't… Don't touch me, please…" Clementine said.
"Are you okay, Clementine?" Sarita asked.
"Where have you been?" Carlos questioned.
"I… don't want to talk right now…" Clementine muttered.
"Well, you gotta talk, we were worried about you…" Kenny said.
Clementine shook her head, a frown on her face. "I don't want to... I can't…"
"Guys, stop… She's clearly had a rough day." Rebecca spoke up. "And we all know she just… lost Molly…"
Clementine felt her heart clench at the mention of her guardian.
"Are you okay, Clem? No one hurt you right?" Rebecca asked.
Clementine took a shaky breath than responded, "N-No… I'm tired… I think I'll go to bed early…"
"Alright, sweetie. If you want to talk, just let me know." Rebecca said.
Clementine didn't want to talk. She only wanted to be left alone.
Feeling angry and concerned about what Clementine nearly went through, Bonnie decided to go talk to Carver.
She knocked on his office door and heard him call from inside, "Come in."
The woman opened the door and proceeded to walk into the room. "Bill, we need to talk."
"What about now, Bonnie?" Carver asked.
"About Clem. You gotta give her clothes back." Bonnie said.
"We talked about this before. If she wants them back, she'll have to earn them back." Carver replied.
"She was almost raped, Bill! One of the guards tried to rape her!" Bonnie said.
Carver was surprised by that. "I'll have him punished immediately for it." For attempting to touch her without his permission.
"That's not enough, Bill. Just give her clothes back. Please. She needs her clothes back to prevent something like this from happening again." Bonnie said.
"Punishment for the man who tried to hurt her is enough. At this point it should be fair game. I took her clothes for a reason. This is her punishment. If she listened, she'd be fine." Carver said. "Are you forgetting that she killed Troy? She tried to stab me. She had weapons hidden in her clothing. That girl needs to learn her lesson. And you should believe that if given the chance, she wouldn't hesitate to kill anyone outside of her group, including you. That child is not as innocent as you think, Bonnie."
Bonnie was silent, as she let his words sink in. Clementine wasn't just an innocent little child, but that didn't convince Bonnie she deserved what happened. "I… I don't know, Bill."
"This is a punishment, Bonnie. When she learns her lesson, she'll get her clothes back. Until then, no amount of asking, will make me change my mind." Carver said. "She threatened me today. Told me she would kill me. She's not a normal little girl…"
"I know…" Bonnie muttered. "I just… I don't know what to think anymore…"
"As long as they're here, they'll be safe. If we let them go back out there, they're all as good as dead. Let me handle things. Even if I have to punish them to make them realize it, we all know they're safer here. You know they're safer here." Carver said.
"Yeah… I guess so…" Bonnie said.
Carver could tell she had mixed feelings on his words. But that was enough. He knew Bonnie wouldn't go against him. And he truly felt Clementine wasn't just a normal little girl. She was so much more than that…
