Tawny, it's always good to hear from you. To answer your question, everything is starting to settle down up here with Queen Ruby taking the throne. The palace is still in a bit of an uproar despite that though, i'm still having difficulty keeping the kitchens properly staffed, albeit for entirely different reasons these days. Peregrine still can't hear out of one ear unfortunately, but he's otherwise doing as well as can be expected.

On that note, how are you doing. Peregrine said he'd be willing to come down and help you but i told him if you were still writing to us then you were still alright as least for a while. You are still doing alright aren't you. I know you don't like talking about it but I don't much like the idea of you being so far away. Though your last letter said Skink and her sibs were there, and that one always had a good head on her shoulders. I'm probably worrying too much but you know me, i'm a worrier.

Oh, Queen Ruby is apparently turning the arena into a hospital, figured you'd get some kind of satisfaction out of hearing that, you always hated the thing, apparently the new Queen agrees with you on that much.

I hope to hear from you again, and much sooner this time. Please stay safe.

Your worrywart of a big brother,

-Jasper

Miss Tawny, It's good that you sent your letter when you did. With the war well and truly over i was quite far into packing so that i might avail myself of the Seawing Kingdom and its many islands.

I'm glad to hear you are doing well, and to hear you've taken on an apprentice as well. Truly splendid, the Windswept Compass Society welcomes young Miss Tilapia with open wings, of course. Were only I able to perform her induction in person myself as I did yours, alas we are a kingdom away, likely two by the time you read this. That honor is rightfully yours, as it should be. I have the utmost faith in you. I do hope Miss Tilapia likes the cloak, it must look positively dashing.

I want to take this opportunity to tell you how proud I am of you. You've lived up to and exceeded every expectation the society has placed on you. What you're feeling now, for Miss Tilapia, is what about you the day you entered my home with nothing but a painting and a dream. You've done great things, and one day so will your student.

Until then, as always, let's continue the race towards the Thunderwings. I'll see you both at the end.

-Professor Fen

Aunt Tawny, I checked around like you asked, nobody had heard anything about anyone named Cinnabar, at least not anyone matching her description. Not anything useful anyways, some older dragons think they remembered a maid in the palace with that name a long time ago, like when Scarlet was a dragonet long time.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Dad's gonna want me to offer to come down and look after you, again. The offer is still open if you want a half deaf dragonet in your home anyways but i know how you can be about the whole situation so i won't press. I do miss my favorite aunt, even if you are the only one.

Your Nephew,

-Peregrine

Ma'am. It's good to hear from you.

I'd like to report that there has been no sign of the Skywing you asked me to keep an eye out for. It's likely that if she has entered the Mudwing Kingdom it was not by way of my post. I will concede she could have snuck past but it's more likely she used a different route to enter if at all.

If the situation changes at all I will keep you informed.

-Captain Muskrat

Playing spy now are we Tawns?

Well I don't know how much help I'll actually be, no one really wants to talk to the pair of Sandwings digging up half a mountainside trying to find old things buried in the dirt . Gecko asked around but no one has seen this Skywing you're looking for.

Speaking of Gecko, you were right, he grew on me like a damn fungus. We'll be getting married soon, this is your fault of course.

By the way thank that Rainwing friend of yours for me, that shovel he made might be the best tool i've ever used.

If I see that Skywing I'll give her a quick jab, it's the least I owe you.

-Roadrunner

Tawny. While things have been hectic here I can say for certain I haven't seen your dangerous Skywing. I have seen a Seawing passing through, looked like a soldier type. I don't talk much with that side of my family but it sounds like some interesting things are going on down in the waters.

Wish i could be of more help.

Oh, i'll probably be out of contact for awhile, the good Professor is wanting me to tour him around the islands now that we're both unlikely to get into trouble for it.

Yours,

-Creek
