Um…

Hi…?

Okay, so it's been a while.

Okay, a really long while.

Like almost a year- What the ****?! Wow…

Well anyways… I kinda want to apologize for my tardiness and everything.

College is full of bull**** and always time-consuming with work and projects. I also had to deal with some personal stuff such as stupid injuries (I'm fine by the way), some physical therapy, being hampered from writing, and other stuff that I don't want to talk about.

I also may have to look at some other media for some… other projects, but I am not going to talk about that.

I want to say I will get better, but yeah we probably know that ain't happening. I prefer to be blunt and not give out false hopes about this ****.

I also want to talk about my other fics.

This particular chapter was way too long than what I had originally planned. I will try to write a bit less than this chapter.

The reaction story is going a bit slow since I realized I'm not the best person to really… I don't know… Get the view from an understanding point. Also to write the appropriate response of the various characters for the story. I will have to get better at that.

(Whoever on the internet says that reaction stories are easy is full of bull****! Especially toward around chapter 50 because that's gonna be fun to write. By the way, this is your hint that I ain't writing lemons for any of my stories since I am not entirely comfortable with that. I will just leave it to your imagination)

Anyways, as for the other stories, I want to rewrite my other HS DXD story and my Pokemon since I kinda think it's bad. I have a better introduction chapter that I'm gonna write and replace that and explain why.

As for my Pokemon story… I kinda want to change the name and the story a bit. It kinda feels rushed and I was going through a phase. I also kinda have to organize the crap out of that as well. Yes, I have to organize information for my stories. That's just how I roll.

Anyways, moving on to the story! Enjoy!

I don't own anything but my OC and some other stuff.

Jen, Gwen, and Soul were chilling in the RV while Max was refilling in the gas. Soul was relaxing on the couch, talking with Neme about a few features of the Predatrix. Jen was playing on her console, and Gwen was reviewing her studies on her laptop. She said it was to keep up her grades, though Jen says that she was a dweeb which led them to argue loudly.

Soul got sick of how loud their arguments were as he brought his paper fan and hit the two of them. "Ow!" they said as they looked toward Soul.

It is quite effective with the paper fan whenever Gwen and Jen argue. Even Jen's alien form is not safe from this.

Well, except for Ghostfreak and Heatblast since she always phases through, and Heatblast always burns the paper.

They both glared at Soul before Jen decided to ask him something. "Hey, Soul?" Soul looked up from his resting place. "Why don't you make superhero names for your aliens?" Jen wondered why Soul didn't call out the names of his aliens. Gwen also decided to pay attention since she needed a break from summer homework.

Soul sighed as he forgot that Jen liked making nicknames for all of her aliens. " I don't like to give them names. It's not a toy nor are they pets, Jen." Jen pouted at that reason. "Also, the media doesn't exactly paint me in the greatest light ever."

Jen and Gwen winced as they remember as they all encountered an article about their superhero antics. Jen got more positive reviews with her transformations, but with Soul's aliens, they give out rather rude comments about his transformations as well as being scared of his forms. Soul didn't exactly find that pleasant but usually ignored the news for that.

He honestly doesn't care too much about it.

Also, Soul can't name for crap. The predators in the Predatrix don't seem to mind with a nickname, though he wasn't sure with the roaring and whatnot, but Soul didn't want to try to make names to save himself the embarrassment.

It seems to be more of Jen's, or the prime Ben's, thing anyways. He didn't want to steal Jen's thunder.

"Yea, but it would look really cool if you did! It might even give the public a better view of you." Jen said. Soul thought about that. "Come on, I can even help you with a few of them." Neme decided to interrupt at this time. "Jen, Soul has numerous aliens in the Predatrix. I think it would be tedious and impractical to name all of them with these 'superhero names.'"

Jen glared at Neme for a bit, and she turned to Soul with puppy eyes. It disturbs Soul that Jen is doing that. Maybe it's because he still sees Jen as Ben. "Come on… Can't you do it for me?" Jen asked. Soul tried to turn toward Gwen, but she was chuckling at the sight of them. Whether it was Jen doing the puppy eyes, or Soul suffering from it, he didn't know.

Soul caved in. "Fine, I already got a few ideas of where to start. Just find a notebook for something to write on." Jen beamed at that. Gwen laughed a bit as Max entered back into the RV. Jen got up to find a notebook and pencil to write out some of these names, but it was supposed to be a bit longer as she doesn't clean up her side of the RV.

"You know, I'm surprised Jen did the puppy eyes. She never does that unless it's her last resort." Gwen commented. Soul raised his eyebrow.

"Really? I know she is a tomboy, but I figure that she would do that more often."

"It's true," Max said, joining the conversation. "Jen doesn't like to do that often. It just makes it harder for me and her parents to resist." Max chuckled at how his son struggles when his daughter was giving her the puppy eyes for this trip.

Soul wanted to ask a bit more, but Jen got her notebook and had her eyes beaming. Soul wanted to resist a bit more but decided to get on with it. There wasn't much he was gonna do anyway.

Soul and Jen were at their side, talking about different names they thought of making for Soul's form with Gwen joining them after a bit. Neme was there giving out what certain predators do as well as giving out her criticism. Max smiled but shifted his expression when he looked toward the road.

Max was getting ready to drive to the next location. He hopes that he can get some answers about Soul. Don't get him wrong, he likes the kid. He's a nice kid, and he is certainly more responsible than Jen and sometimes Gwen, especially when it comes to chore duty.

They also seem to appreciate his cooking as well, which is weird since Max was giving one of his best recipes like the mongoose jerky or skunk omelet.

But he is lacking any identity or any proof that he exists. He also couldn't find any relatives that match his identity. The loss of memory also doesn't help his situation either.

It also seems too coincidental that he shows up near Jen with a power that is similar to what Jen has with her watch.

Hopefully, Doc can come through with answers.

"Cannonball!" Jen called out, jumping into the water wearing a pair of swimming trunks and a shirt while Gwen was in her regular clothes. Soul was near the pier looking toward them.

They arrived at the lake, and Max told us we were gonna meet a friend rather than a tour guide. Soul gave him a confused look as well as Jen and Gwen, but they rolled with it.

Soul wondered if his interfering gave them a different timeline.

"A perfect 10," Jen called out as if an announcer was commenting. "The crowd loves her!"

"A perfect dweeb is more like it," Gwen commented.

"Eh, I give it an 8.5," Soul said looking disinterested. Jen looked aghast toward the score.

"I don't have an accurate score to give due to the lack of data, but I think it is kinda underwhelming," Neme said. Jen glared at Neme and gave her a raspberry.

"Come on you guys get in," Jen said with a grin. "The water is perfect."

"Please, who knows what nasty, slithering things are in there," Gwen said in mock disbelief as she shined the flashlight on an unamused Jen. "I rest my case."

"Ehh, I prefer to stay dry thank you," Soul retorted.

"I would also prefer to not be covered in disgusting sludge," Neme said.

"What's the point of camping by the lake if you're afraid of getting wet?" Jen asked, splashing the two. Soul moved toward the back to avoid the water while Gwen got a bit soaked. "You even got some extra clothes for you Soul, including a swimming suit."

Max did buy him some extra clothes for the trip since he was lacking… well everything since he only had what he had on hand. Soul tried to decline, but Max said that it was fine.

Soul didn't really want to take advantage of their kindness, but Max told him that there weren't that many options since Jen's clothes (they were mostly guy's clothes since that is what she prefers) were too small for him.

"Knock it off, midget," Gwen snapped while Soul looked toward the lake.

'I'm more worried about what's in the lake,' Soul thought. He knows he has the Predatrix, but he would rather not be face to face with the Krakken.

For some reason, it's giving him a shiver right now.

As Gwen went to leave, Jen began to flail. "H-Hey, what's *Cough* Happening?!" She got out before ducking into the water.

Gwen paused and turned. "Very funny Jen, I'm not falling for it." Soul did hear some concern in her tone.

"Jen has a high chance of not being able to drown due to the watch of hers with about 90 percent," Neme stated. Soul raised his eyebrows.

"Why not 100 percent?"

"If there is anything I learn about Jen, it is that she will ruin any calculations due to her lack of intelligence," Neme stated. Gwen laughed at Jen as Fourarms came up looking ticked off.

"Hey! I'm not dumb!" Fourarms said.

Soul gave her a look. "Yeah, then why are you transformed into Fourarms?"

Fourarms looked toward her surroundings and fell onto her knees. "Darn it! I was gonna prank Gwen with a Swamp monster!"

Gwen gave her a scoff. "As if!" She then went back toward the RV to get some rest. Soul also yawned and felt tired. "Jen, Come on! We have to wake up pretty early to meet Max's friends. Let's go to bed."

Jen looked disappointed with the watch timing out and followed Soul. Soul sighs in relief, knowing that Jen isn't gonna get obsessed with the Krakken.

What they didn't notice was a pair of glowing blue eyes, looking toward the gang. More specifically toward Soul.

"I'm gonna catch the biggest fish on the lake!" Jen exclaimed. Jen was pretty excited about this fishing trip. Gwen looked a little less enthusiastic since it was still a little early for her.

'Soul,' Soul jumped in surprise since Neme decided to ask him out of nowhere. 'Aren't you gonna warn the others about the Krakken?'

'They will be fine. They took care of it originally, and they have Max's old friend which could possibly be old ex-Plumbers. Besides if anything goes out of hand, I can take care of it,' Soul thought toward Neme as he saw Jen grossing out Gwen with the bait and letting her stroll off to the shore.

The three of them were continuing toward the end of the dock when Soul saw a huge sea vessel that was colored orange and silver. It had some advanced equipment on it such as a satellite dish and onboard computers. It read the words in bold at the side of the boat: SATURDAYS.

'Huh? Where's the dinky boat? Also, where have I seen this before?' Soul thought when Max was about to meet up with his old friends. He saw them and was surprised. One was a well-built African man at the dock with a scar running down one of his eyes. There was also a woman with pale hair messing with the computers. Sitting at the back was a short boy around Jen's age with a dark tan. His hair was a mix of white and black hair. It kinda looks like a skunk. They were all wearing the same orange and black uniforms.

'Oh, those are the Secret Saturdays!' Soul recognizes them. 'Well, I guess it makes sense that they are here since they exist in this universe, but why are they here? They never interacted with the Tennysons until Omniverse. What brought them here?' Soul thought as he was about to meet up with them.

"Doc, it's been too long!" Max greeted the man. "How've ya been?"

"Max, it's been too long since we have last seen each other," Doc said. "It's been around ten years, but you should call more often, you know."

"Well, duty calls," Max said, placing a hand on the children. "This is my granddaughter, Jen, and this is her friend, Soul. Jen. Soul. This is my old friend, Dr. Solomon Saturday."

"You can call me Doc," said Doc. The woman and boy walked up next to him. "This is my wife, Drew, and my son, Zak."

"Sup," Zak said.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Max. I have heard some wild tales from my husband about your jobs together," Drew said. "He wouldn't stop talking about you."

"Drew… There is no need to tell him that," Doc moaned. Drew giggled.

"So, how do you guys know my grandpa?" Jen asked curiously.

"It's a long story," Max tried to finish quickly. "Thanks again for letting us borrow your boat to go fishing while you're here doing your research. I hope we don't cause you too much trouble."

"It's no problem. Anything for an old friend," Doc said.

"Whatcha researching about?" Soul asked. He knew they weren't gonna tell him straight, but he wonders what could have pulled them out here.

"We're studying the environment and seeing how some lake sediments and species can affect the climate and catching areas," Drew answered.

"Wow, that sounds so…boring," Jen said in a bored tone. Soul elbowed her for being rude.

"Tell me about it," Zak said in the same tone.

"Okay, that's enough, you two," Doc said. "Everybody on board. We're burning daylight and we have a whole lot of water to cover."

As Jen and Soul got on to the boat, Doc leaned toward Max.

"So, that's the kid you want me to look over?" Doc asked.

"Yeah, I tried to find information by using the Plumbers, but found nothing about him," Max said. "He's not a bad kid, but he's carrying something powerful, and it's suspicious how he ended up in the middle of nowhere with barely any memories about his family when he was near the watch as well."

Drew looked worried for Soul as Doc looked serious. "We'll try our best, but not sure if we can find anything new." Doc smiled. "In the meantime, enjoy your time with your granddaughter," Doc said. Max agreed as he got into the boat.

Doc got the boat ready and ventured toward the wide-open lake. Doc and Drew were inside with the computers checking over the scanners and computers while Jen was mostly at the front of the boat with her rod with Max nearby. Soul decided to interact with Zak since he wanted to talk to someone that's a guy.

Jen was fine, but he needed an actual guy to talk with.

"So anything exciting during the job?" Soul asked.

"Not really. We didn't find much in the lake. Kinda bored right now." Zak responded.

"Got any decent stories around here?" Soul asked.

"I heard there was a Krakken in the lake," Zak said but put his hands on his mouth.

"A Kraken? Doesn't that usually mean a large sea squid? I know this lake is big and connects to the ocean, but I think you are mixing your legends there," Soul responded, faking his reaction to what Zak said.

At least he knows why the Saturdays are here, though he wonders why they didn't show up originally.

"Yeah… you're right about that…" Zak said, thankful that Soul saved him from revealing the cryptid in the lake.

Unfortunately, Jen heard what they were talking about.

"Wait, there's a lake monster here?" Jen asked.

"Oh, it's nothing, just an old sailor's tale," said Drew calmly, going behind Zak. She probably heard what they were talking about. "There's a legend that around these parts has a beast named the Krakken. There have been a dozen sightings, but there wasn't any proof of it. It's only a myth, right Zak?" Drew gave her son a look. She was also gripping his shoulders hard.

"Yeah, that's right!" Zak said a bit too quickly.

Soul gave a blank look toward them. He always wonders how people in cartoons can't be subtle in their lies when the signs are all there in the open.

"I bet I can beat any lake monster that comes my way!" Jen said.

"Now, Jen, this is a fishing trip, not a monster hunt," Max said swiftly. "Let's just enjoy a nice relaxing boat ride and maybe we'll reel in a good haul for lunch."

Jen pouted but went back to fishing. Soul decided to go fishing since he wanted to eat some fish too, but he did spot Drew scolding her son.

What he didn't see was that she was glancing at Soul with a look.

After a while, Jen caught a few small trouts during the trips, but Soul caught several big basses and trouts to eat. Jen and Zak were impressed, but the Saturdays and Max gave him a strange look for catching so much.

Soul just responded, "I'm a growing boy."

He was getting hungry with what he could do with all of the fish.

They were reaching a bigger part of the lake that meets the ocean when they were stopped by police tapes and a row of buoys.

"What the-? This shouldn't be there. What's going on?" Doc asked in confusion.

"It looks official," Max said. "Maybe we should turn back."

"We have permission from the state government to examine this lake," Drew argued. "Something else is going on around here."

"Research vessel, stop where you are!"

Everybody turned to look off to the side as another ship pulled up alongside theirs. It looked similar to the boats used by the coast guard with a giant logo on the side with the initials F.O.F. There were several men on board the ship who were in bluish-green jumpsuits with the same logo on their chests and the one at the bow had short brown hair with a goatee who spoke.

Soul noticed that there were more than the two lackeys that were with Jonah. This might be a problem if Jen were to face them.

"I am Jonah Melville, the founder of Friends of Fish," Jonah said. "We've closed this section of the lake for an environmental study. You'll have to turn your boat around."

To be honest, Soul wonders why they couldn't come up with a better name than "Friends of Fish." Are all the good ones taken away?

Also, fish don't want to be friends. They are either food, prizes, decoration, or cause of death.

"I'm Doctor Saturday and we've also come to examine the lake for research purposes," Doc said, staring down Jonah suspiciously. "Our research is being authorized by the state government through their department of Environment and Natural Resources. Who permitted you to quarantine the lake?"

"That would be from the federal department at the White House," Jonah said with a grin. "If you'd like, I could bring you the paperwork later, but for now you're going to have to turn back now."

The Saturdays wanted to say something, but they seemed to hold back. Max was able to hold Doc back. Doc gritted his teeth while Drew tried to comfort her husband. Zak was glaring at the F.O.F boat.

'Man, people in cartoons really don't know how to be subtle,' Soul thought.

With great reluctance, Doc turned his research vessel around and followed Jonah's boat back towards the harbor. But during their course, something on Saturday's radar pinged, and Drew rushed over to the machine in the blink of an eye. A single dot was flying across the screen at an incredible rate.

"We've got something incoming on the sonar!" Drew shouted.

"Or something found us!" Jen stated when she pointed toward the water where something was swimming fast with the fin showing.

"Could that be the Krakken?" Soul asked.

The fin dripped down, shaking the boat when it passed by, showing a shadow that was three times bigger than the boat, and moving swiftly toward the shore.

"I would say yes!" Zak shouted.

"It's heading for the dock!" Doc shouted.

"Gwen!" Max and Jen said in unison.

"Come on!" Soul shouted. They decided to drive quickly toward the dock areas with the Krakken going on the rampage. It was a large beast with green leathery skin, large blue eyes, and a mouth full of teeth as well as two tentacles on the side of its jaw. They spotted several people on the lake near the Krakken including Gwen.

Soul looked toward Jen. "What are you waiting for? Permission!?" He said with Max agreeing to his outburst.

"Someone has to save those people," Max responded. Jen gave a grin and jumped overboard. "Ripjaws to the rescue!"

Soul deadpanned. "Max said save, not scare you dum-dum!" He groaned as he saw Jen turn into the XLR8. He saw that Jen was rescuing her cousin and the people, but he saw there were a lot more than usual, and it doesn't seem that Jen might get them all.

"Max, I'm gonna help Jen!" He said as he was getting ready to jump overboard.

"Wait, Soul…!" Doc was about to say, but Soul couldn't hear him as he hit the water.

'Neme! Can you turn me into something aquatic?' Soul asked.

'Sure,' She responded as there was a red flash.

XLR8 was running on the water, trying to bring the people out of danger. She managed to bring most of the people to shore including Gwen. The Krakken however, isn't making it easy for her to rescue the people.

She was about to get the last people when the Krakken decided to swing one of her tentacles toward XLR8. She tried to dodge, but the waves were blocking her path.

She picked up the last person before she saw one of the tentacles from the Krakken coming down to block her path. She grimaced since she wasn't sure if she could jump that while she was on the water. Just as she was gonna make a poor decision, something big managed to slam the Krakken away.

She managed to catch the scarf with the Predatrix that was attached to a large red octopus with brown spots all over. It also seems to have a beak mouth at the front.

It was Vicetopus. She remembered that Soul named that instead of her suggestion. Vicetopus managed to use the tentacles to wrap around the Krakken as it was thrashing around. She saw that he was telling her to hurry up with his eyes.

She nodded as she delivered the last person to shore to help Soul.

Soul as Vicetopus was struggling with the Krakken as she was thrashing way too hard. He could have constricted more, but he didn't want to hurt her.

'Starting to think that I chose the wrong aquatic predator,' Vicetopus thought as he swung off from the Krakken. He looked forward toward the Krakken before he felt scared for some reason.

The Krakken stared at him with very interested eyes. Vicetopus saw that it was also drooling a bit. He recognized that look, and he did not want to be on the receiving end of that.

'Oh HELL NO!' Vicetopus thought as he swam away. The Krakken gave chase as well.

'I came here to get food, not be food!' He swam around the lake for some time. 'What the heck, Neme!? Why did you choose this form!?'

'How was I supposed to know that the Krakken was gonna try to eat you?' Neme said.

He then saw the F.O.F boat. 'Well, may as lead into the story plot, and a chance to not be eaten.' He swam underneath the boat and pass through them. The Krakken stop chasing Soul as she had a different target.

'Oh thank god that plan worked,' Vicetopus thought.

He decided to drift off to the shore stealthy so he could catch a break.

XLR8 managed to go toward the Krakken as it lost interest in Vicetopus and focused its attention on the F.O.F boat.

She wonders why she lost interest.

She also saw that the Saturdays are trying to get close to the Krakken. It looks like Zak was trying to get close to the Krakken with some kind of rod with a claw, and are Zak's eyes glowing? She shook her head and will ask later. She needs to save those guys from the Krakken.

She came toward the F.O.F boat and created a water tornado to deter the Krakken away from the boat. The Krakken then backed off enough for XLR8 to jump toward the F.O.F boat.

The Krakken was about to try again when it turned toward the Saturdays. It swam toward the boat, freaking XLR8 out since that's where her Grandpa is.

Zak was trying to communicate with the Krakken, trying to figure out what is angering her. He seems to struggle a bit. "You are… upset… and mad. " Zak said with some difficulty. "You are… trying to find… something. It looks like-..."

Before Zak could finish, XLR8 came by and rapidly kicked at the Krakken. She roared in anger, splashing back into the water which broke Zak's connection. Zak gaped in shock till he glared at the Kineceleran.

"What the heck?!" Zak roared. "I almost had it! Why'd you have to do that?"

"That's a weird way of saying thanks," said XLR8, exchanging glares with Zak.

"Jen! Those people are in trouble!" Max yelled as he pointed toward the F.O.F boat. It seems the Krakken is back attacking them with greater force.

The Krakken seem to be dragging a crate that is marked CANNERY til Jonah was trying to drag it back.

"No, you don't!" Jonah yelled.

He tried to drag it back which was kinda pointless considering that the Krakken was much stronger. XLR8 was able to get toward the beast and kicked it toward the jugular. The beast sank back into the water after it released the crate, and XLR8 sighed in relief.

She was getting tired of kicking rapidly.

"Thanks for the hand… and the feet," said Jonah appreciatively as he came up to the alien hero.

"What was so important in that crate that you'd risk your life for it?" XLR8 questioned.

"Um…our lunch," Jonah said as he looked back at his coworkers.

"You almost got munched on for a few sandwiches?" XLR8 hissed.

XLR8 wanted to question them a bit more, but the Krakken interrupt by launching its tentacle to grab the crate and pull it into the lake. She wanted to follow after them, but she heard the watch bleeping.

"Uh-oh, sorry, gotta run!" XLR8 apologized quickly before she took off. She made a direct course for Saturday's research vessel as the countdown timer beeped faster. "Almost there…. I think I'm gonna make it – "

She didn't as she skids across the water like a stone when she transformed back and was coughing up water. She saw a hand that reached out to offer her assistance. She looked up to see Zak but pouted when she saw that Zak had a slight smug face.

"Need a hand?" Zak said.

"Thanks, dude," Jen said as she was brought up toward the boat. She looked around to find Soul with no result. "Hey, where's Soul?"

"I think your friend is at the shore, trying to dry himself," Doc replied as he saw a red flash underwater, and Soul dragging himself toward the shore, shaking himself from the water. "Let's go meet up with him."

"A shame that the Krakken got away," Drew signed. "I doubt that was the last time we will see her. She seems to want something, which means she'll be back."

"And why did you know that?" Jen questioned. "In fact, how did you know so much of the Krakken as well as what Zak did earlier?" Jen looked like she wanted answers.

The Saturdays looked around with Max looking a bit sheepish with the information. Doc and Drew just looked at each other discussing what they wanted to do with their eyes. Doc finally sighed and scratched his head.

"Since you're involved," Doc said. "I guess we can explain everything."

The Tennysons, the Saturdays, and Soul had gathered around the Rust Bucket to explain. They all noticed that many of the packed vehicles left since the Krakken's attack seem to have terrified them.

Around the campfire, Gwen, Jen, and Zak were drinking some beverages while the adults were at the other side with their beverages. Soul was more focused on the grilled fish that he planned to eat by himself.

He was irritated today since he was almost about to be chewed up as someone's lunch and felt that he deserved this much food.

The Saturdays were shocked to see someone eat so much food into their body.

"So let me understand this correctly," Gwen said as she was sipping her cocoa. "You three are part of a secret organization of scientists called the Secret Scientists – kind of obvious, by the way – and you specialize in the area of Cryptozoology?"

"That's right," Doc answered.

"And that Krakken thing out in the lake is one of those cryptids you've been studying," Jen asked. "But now that Krakken lost something, and it's attacking people trying to look for it."

"Seems like that's the case," Drew said nonchalantly.

"And the reason you know this is because Zak has some freaky magic claw that lets him see into cryptid's heads," Gwen said, looking at the skunk-haired boy.

"That about sums it up," Zak said, looking almost proud of the fact.

"Okay…" Gwen says till she explodes. "It's official, you're all completely nuts!"

"Gwen, how is it any crazier than our past adventures?" Soul asked, not looking up from eating his fish. Gwen was about to retort, but Soul cut her off. "Jen got a watch that turns her into aliens. We had to deal with giant robots. I have a collar full of alien predators. And just last week, we dealt with an undead T-rex and pterosaurs." Each statement causes Gwen to back off a little by little. Zak whistled at that statement of taking down a dinosaur.

"Yeah, but-," Gwen said weakly.

"Now keep an open mind, Gwen," Max said calmly. "I'll admit, I was skeptical at first too."

"I'm still curious about this magic," Neme said as she looked toward Zak.

"It's a magic claw that helps me communicate with cryptids," Zak said. "Nothing more to say."

"I am sorry, but I don't believe that so easily," Neme said. "Maybe you got exposed to some kind of chemicals that allow animal telepathy."

"How did you meet these guys, Gramps?" Jen asked, leading away from Neme's observation.

"Well…," Max said reminiscently. "It happened way back before any of you were born, during my days as a Plumber. I had to job near Arizona when I met Doc chasing a Chupacabra that had managed to slip past the border and was running amok with the local cattle. Well, long story short, Doc and I handled the situation, and we've been good friends ever since. When I couldn't find much on Soul, I knew I had to make a call to Doc to see if maybe one of his Secret Scientist friends could help."

Soul who was busy eating looked up as he was mentioned. He winced internally since he forgot that he doesn't have any I.D. on him. It would make sense that he would turn to his ex-Plumber or alternative organizations.

Soul was thankful that Max was trying to help him, but they were gonna be sorely disappointed since he was not originally from here.

"We have our scientists working on finding your family," Doc promised. Soul faked his smile since he knew it was not gonna yield anything. "Unfortunately, we have more pressing matters."

"Yeah, like figuring out what's got the Krakken so mad," Zak said. "I bet you anything that those Friend of Fish guys are somehow involved. I just don't trust them."

"The Krakken did go out of its way to attack their ship specifically when Soul tried to swim away," Drew said, rubbing her chin thoughtfully. "It even went through all the effort of stealing one of their crates. Something fishy is going around and it's not in the lake."

"Aw yeah, I am all over this!" Jen said excitedly.

"Yeah, how about no."

Jen turned toward Soul who said that with shock. "What? Why not? I have the monster buster watch and your monster scarf as well. We can totally kick butt!"

"Hey, the Krakken isn't bad, just trying to protect something of hers!" Zak said defensively.

"Yeah, well I prefer not to be cryptid food again. Jen, let's just leave this to the experts, alright?" Soul replied. He prefers to not be fish food again.

Jen wanted to argue, but Max decided to intervene. "That's enough, Jen," Max said firmly. "Soul is right about this. The Saturdays will take care of the Krakken. This will just have to be the one that got away, son."

Soul stared at Max blankly before he pulled up a notepad. "That's another for the pun counter," Soul muttered. He honestly was keeping track of the Tennysons pun since they seem to do it very often. Not even Gwen is safe from it, though her's is significantly less than Jen and Max's.

Thankfully they weren't paying too much attention to what he was doing.

"That's not fair!" Jen whined.

"Sucks to be you," Zak taunted her.

Max yawned. "Come on, let's get ready for bed. Tomorrow we are driving off, alright."

Jen grumbled as she and Gwen went inside the Rust Bucket. Soul decided to get up. "I'm gonna take a walk. Need to burn some energy from eating all that fish. Think I can do that, Max?" Max nodded as Soul headed off into the forest.

Max looked toward Soul till he was out of sight. Then he turned toward the Saturdays. "So did you find anything about Soul?"

Doc frowned. "Max, I tried looking through every file I can find, including signs where IDs could have been altered or removed. I found nothing nor any relations toward him. The organization couldn't find anything about him."

"He also seems to not be gullible like a 10-year kid. Are you sure he isn't an alien?" Drew said. She didn't want to accuse the kid, but he seems a little too sharp.

Due to Max being a plumber, the Saturdays know that aliens exist out there.

"That's the thing, he is just human. I already tried to test him secretly. It just points to him as human. And it's not like I can interrogate him about aliens. His amnesia is genuine as he can't remember his family or anything personal. It also seems like he didn't lie about his name either." Max sighed. Soul's situation was getting more complicated. Not to mention the device he has.

It was alien due to having predators all around the galaxy, but even the AI doesn't know where she is originally from. Whoever dropped him with the device didn't want anybody to find out who he was.

"Well, there is nothing we can do about it. Sorry that I can't help you further with your situation," Doc said.

"It's fine. You did try your best, Solomon." Max was thankful that Doc tried his best. "Well, time to leave what you guys do best." He got into the Rust Bucket, preparing to leave tomorrow while not bothering the Saturdays of doing their work.

Too bad, that was not gonna happen.

Soul was walking through the forest with no path in his mind. He liked walking. It helps his mind to wander.

He wonders how long he has to be here. His existence brought so much change. He wasn't supposed to intervene nor was he supposed to have the Predatrix. He sighed, and let his mind try to remember his past life.

He tries to remember his memory, but he struggles to remember and has that splitting headache every time. He can't even remember anyone else that was important to him in his life.

He started to head back a bit soberly when he saw Jen sneaking toward the dock. Soul groaned. He forgot how Jen would try to sneak into the ship.

He swears that his knowledge of the original timeline is becoming more unreliable as this trip continues. He isn't near this season's finale.

What's next, more bounty hunters or more stupid gimmicks that happen?

'Oh well, back to business,' Soul thought as he decided to chase after Jen.

Then a red flash envelops him again.

The Saturdays were venturing off to the lake, trying to find clues about the Krakken. They were where the Krakken was last seen as they scanned the location with caution. Doc was looking through the scanner for any movement, and Drew was looking at the roof with binoculars. Zak was at the front with his claw, closing his eyes and moving the artifact to sense the location.

After several minutes without any reaction from the claw, Zak frowned.

"I'm not sensing her anywhere," Zak informed his parents.

"Well, stay on guard," Doc said. "We mapped the Krakken's hunting pattern with the sonar and determined where she roosted. Drew, we should prepare in case she attacks. You did pack your Tibetan sword as well as my battle glove?"

"Of course I did. What do you take me for?" Drew teased as she reached for one of the crates. "I put them here in case of -" She lifted the crate's lid and her eyes opened wide in shock. "Um, Solomon, I think we have a slight issue with that."

Hearing the urgency, Doc and Zak rushed toward where Drew was and found Jen in the crates.

"Uh, first mate Tennyson reporting for duty…sir and mam?" Jen said, waving and chuckling nervously.

"Jen, what are you doing here?" Drew asked, lifting her out of the crate. "Your grandfather told you not to get involved. This is very dangerous."

"Hey, I've been dealing with danger all of the time! I can help you guys!" Jen said proudly. Doc and Drew gave him a blank stare.

"Look Jen, I know you want to help," Doc said, "but this isn't something that you should worry about. We are trained professionals that are armed with the most advanced gear. We can handle ourselves."

"Um dear, we might have an issue with that," Drew said, a bit hesitantly as she checked the crate with the gears missing. "Your glove as well as my sword are missing."

"Oh, those things?" Jen piped in. "I left those behind since they were giving me a cramp at my back." Doc, Drew, and Zak open their mouths in shock. "What?" Jen looked confused.

Doc pinched his nose in frustration. There was no point in lecturing Jen nor is there a point in getting the gear back since they were already far out in the water. He may as well bring Jen as a backup in case things take a turn for the worse.

"Fine, you can come with us, but behave, Jen," Doc said. He then went to the monitors to check the progress.

"Yes!" Jen shouted in excitement.

"That doesn't mean you are off the hook, young lady. We are gonna discuss this with your grandfather later," Drew said.

"Aw, man," Jen groaned.

After treading across the water, Doc parked the boat somewhere close to where they first spotted the Krakken. While Doc was checking the many sonars and monitors, Drew was helping secure Zak into an orange scuba suit.

"The Krakken's probably been chased deep into the lake after what happened this morning," Doc said. "Since we don't know what drew her out of her habitat, the alternative is to confront the Krakken ourselves."

"Sweet, where's my suit?" Jen asked.

"Oh no, you don't!" Drew snapped, staring at Jen with her patented Mom's glare' which made Jen stand up straight. "You're still in trouble for stowing away and removing our gear without permission. Even if you weren't in trouble, we don't have a spare suit in your size."

"Then, what am I supposed to do?" Jen argued. Doc then had a bright idea.

"Why don't you turn into one of your aliens, and hover around to see if you spot anything strange?" Doc suggested. Jen looked confused. "Who knows what could be crawling around here?"

"Fine, I guess, it would be better than nothing," Jen said, as she activated her Omnitrix. She turned the dial to what looked like Stinkfly. She then pressed the dial to transform into an insect with two pairs of legs and two arms. She has three fingers on her hand as well as a pair of dragonfly wings. Her four stalk-like eyes rotate around the area. She also had a small bust which can be due to not hampering her ability to fly.

"STINKFLY!" She shouted. Drew and Doc had to cover their nose and mouth due to the stench while Zak was glad he had the mask on.

"What?" Stinkfly said. "It's just part of my charm."

"More like your stink," Zak said. She sticks out her tongue. She then took off to scout around the area.

"Well, that takes care of one problem, and we have a scout patrolling in the air," Drew said. She then turned to Zak. "Zak, be careful."

"Don't worry mom." Zak then fell back toward the water to investigate the Krakken.

They however didn't see the other boat that was going to catch up to them.

"Man, why do I have to go around like this?" Stinkfly said. She wanted to face the Krakken.

She flew around the area to see if there was anything wrong. She spotted nothing and decided to land on the tree to be safe.

"I wanted to see the Krakken. It's not my fault that I can help," Stinkfly complained.

"It is when you are interfering in their work," Neme said behind her. Stinkfly jumped and turned toward a large purple bird with a huge beak. Its legs were long with huge talons on them as well as a dangerous claw. Its wings were folded next to its body, and its eyes were staring at her with some annoyance. The Predatrix was around the scarf at the base of the neck.

It was Soul as Terror Raptor, one of the aliens that she named.

"Soul? What are you doing here? How did you find me?" Stinkfly asked rapidly.

"I came to find you. You are also not the stealthiest flier as Stinkfly with your buzzing wings. Also, you reek bad," Terror Raptor said as he put his wing toad his beak in an attempt to block the smell.

"Hey, I can't help it if I'm in this form," Stinkfly said.

"Anyways, what are you doing here?" Terror Raptor asked. He figured she would be on the ship with the Saturdays or diving to see the Krakken.

"Doc and Drew put me on patrol duty with one of my aliens, and Zak was going to investigate the Krakken," Stinkfly pouted when she told Soul.

"I feel that may be productive in this case," Neme stated from the Predatrix.

"Anyways, are you going to bring me back?" Stinkfly said.

"Nah, you are already here, and it would look bad if you were to disappear from your patrol," Terror Raptor said. "Besides, I need to keep track of you."

"Rig-, hey!" Stinkfly said as she flapped her wings. They were heading toward the boat, but they saw a second boat next to the Saturdays.

"What? Why is there a second boat out here?" Stinkfly asked. Terror Raptor wanted to speak up, but then the Saturday boat exploded. Both Stinkfly and Terror Raptor were shocked by the boat exploding as the other went away.

"What the-!? So- I mean Terror Raptor! We need to catch up with them!" Stinkfly shouted.

"Come on, we can fly if we-!" Terror Raptor stopped as he saw Zak waving them down due to his enhanced senses.

"I see Zak. He wants us to get him," Terror Raptor said. Stinkfly was surprised that Zak was fine, but decided to follow Terror Raptor's lead.

"Zak! You're okay!" Stinkfly yelled. Zak saw Jen but was surprised by the giant purple bird.

"Whoa, be good," Zak said with his staff glowing.

"Zak, it's me, Soul," Terror Raptor said to lose the confusion. Zak was surprised.

"Whoa, you look awesome," Zak commented.

"Zak, what happened? We were only gone for a few minutes. And how are you fine?" Stinkfly asked.

"Yeah, I'm good. Those Friends of Fish guys snuck by after you left," Zak said. "My parents got captured for information about the Krakken. I was lucky enough to be underwater when they took over the ship. I was signaled by my parents to get you Jen to save them with your grandfather."

"Huh, how is Grandpa gonna-?" Stinkfly said til she heard a beeping noise from her forehead as it was bleeping red. In a flash of red, she transforms back into Jen, who ended up in the water.

"Aw, man. I hate it when that happens," Jen groaned. Terror Raptor snickered as he hovered above the water.

"Well, climb on, we need to rush to Max if we want to rescue Zak's parents," Terror Raptor said. Both Zak and Jen nodded their heads as they climbed to the back of him.

Meanwhile, Gwen was looking out to the lake with a pair of binoculars as Max came back from the woods. Max hoped that Soul was in the woods and Jen had joined Soul on his walk, but both of them were gone.

"Any sign of Jen, Soul, or the Saturdays," Max asked.

"Not yet," Gwen answered.

They then heard a flapping noise above them where they saw a giant purple bird with the red scarf and the Predatrix symbol as well as Jen and Zak on its back. They managed to land in front of them with Jen and Zak jumping off and Terror Raptor changed in a flash of red into Soul.

"Sup?" Soul said in a casual sense.

After getting themselves inside the Rustbucket and getting Zak to remove the wetsuit, they were discussing what is the next plan. Jen was able to change to a different change of clothes while Gwen was busy on her laptop and looking up information about Jonah and his reason for the attack.

"And the Krakken's nest was full of eggs," Zak finished his story. "No wonder she's been attacking everything. Jonah must be stealing her eggs."

"They're jerks," Jen said, pounding her fist together.

"And I think I know who Jonah is," Gwen said, getting the attention of everyone. "I did some digging on Friends of Fish-."

"Such a stupid name," Soul commented.

Gwen continued on, but she did give him an amused look. "It's not listed on any environmental website, but I did find this," She turned her laptop around to show various pictures of Jonah. "He isn't a friend to any sort of wildlife. He travels around the world poaching rare animals, then crates them up and sells them to private collectors."

"Crates them up?" Jen's eyes lit up after she held her chin for a second. "I bet that crate the Kraken took back had her eggs in them."

"And his next target is the rest of the eggs," Soul said. "Well, time to return the eggs to the Kraken."

"And find my parents," Zak said. "They said something about going back to a cannery."

"Well, there is only one cannery on the docks," Gwen said. "I'm gonna contact the police." She brought up her phone since she didn't get kidnapped by the parrot.

"Meanwhile, we need to figure out how to save Zak's parents. Even if Jen turns into an alien, there are too many people for them to distract," Max said.

"I believe I may have an idea," Neme stated. Everybody turned to her. "How about we give them another target?"

Soul did not like the sound of that.

Over in the cannery on the other side of the lake, an overhead crane pulled out an autonomic mech from the lake with Jonah sitting behind the controls. Jonah held the Krakken egg delicately in the machine's mechanical arms as the crane brought him around to the docks.

One of his lackeys was dragging a container with another Krakken egg inside while another one shoved Doc and Drew Saturday – both of them bound him ropes – with the butt of his gun. The rest of the lackeys have their weapons out, making sure their operation runs smooth.

Once the mech was close enough to the dock, it handed off the Krakken egg to his minion while Jonah pulled himself out from the back. The henchman nearly toppled over from the sudden weight of the egg.

"Careful, you idiot," Jonah said threateningly, "Or you'll be cleaning up the world's most expensive omelet." The lackeys lurched the egg inside the container to join its twin and closed the lid, sealing them inside. "After we sell these babies to the highest bidder, we'll be kicking back on a beach in the Bahamas."

"You people are sick," Doc said disgustedly. "What kind of monsters sells off endangered animal infants."

"The filthy rich kind," Jonah said, chuckling at his joke. "Now pipe down or you'll be sleeping with the fishes-!" The docks were then shaking. "Just in time," Jonah smiles

The Krakken then smashed through the floor and let out a roar for stealing her eggs.

Everybody got their weapons firing which made the Krakken annoyed with the poachers while one of the lackeys was leading the Saturdays away.

Jonah was smiling like a madman. "The bigger the Krakken, the bigger the payday. Everyone, fire at the beast!"

While the poachers were busy dealing with the Krakken and are confident in their chances due to the numbers, Zak, the Tennysons, and Soul were underneath the cannery in a spare boat that the Saturdays kept. Max parked the boat next to the ladder that led to the building above with Gwen while Jen, Soul, and Zak stayed behind.

"You remember the plan, right?" Max asked.

"You guys look for the eggs and my parents," Zak said. "We'll take care of those Friends of Fish fakers."

"Don't sweat it," Jen said confidently, activating the Omnitrix's core. "It's Hero Time!"

"Neme, I swear if I am cryptid food again-," Soul said as he dived into the water while he activated the Predatrix.

There was a green flash that replaced Jen with a large gray humanoid fish with jaws mixed up with an alligator and a shark. She has a fin going down her back as well as her elbows. On top of her head has an angler waving around. She also has a long black dress that reveals her legs. Her upper torso was covered in a black bikini top that also covers her shoulder. The Omnitrix symbol was on her left pectoral.

Soul transformed in the water as a large deep blue leviathan with a beige-colored underbelly. It has a fan hood on its head as well as orange dermal spikes on the back and sides of its neck. The hood also contains a set of gills that seem to close right now. There are larger dermal spikes at its back. Its jaws are lined with teeth that are overlapped with the jaws of the outer jagged plates of its head. It also sports two horns that point upward as well. It has a red scarf with the Predatrix symbol around the base of its neck.

This was Deep Charge, one of Ripjaw's predators.

"Time to kick some bad guy's butt," both Ripjaws and Zak said.

"While I do distraction," Deep Charge grumbles with a similar gravelly voice like Ripjaws, but much deeper.

Deep Charge comes up to the dock and roars, shocking the poachers that were shooting at the Krakken. Jonah laughs in excitement.

"What a lucky day! Two large preys on the same night! Forget the Bahamas, we are gonna live a luxurious life anywhere we want!" Jonah said as he was getting ready to put into the mech to take care of both the Krakken and this new target.

The lackeys were firing at the two beasts, only to realize that the bullets weren't doing any damage to them. Some of the henchmen went inside to get higher-caliber weapons.

The Krakken pulled its full body through the harbor, slapping the remaining henchmen with its tentacle into the water, and reached for its eggs. But Jonah suddenly swooped in using the mech's crane, grabbed the egg container, and hoisted himself up out of the Krakken's reach.

The Krakken stretched itself out to grab him, but Jonah used the mech's weapon to drive the Krakken back to the edge of the pier, dangling one of its feet over the edge.

Jonah pressed forward with his attack, but Deep Charge came in and blocked any more attacks from the mech. Jonah tries to attack Deep Charge again, but it doesn't really do anything but tickle him. The Krakken was going to attack again, but then its eyes were glowing, becoming calm. Jonah blinked and tilted down and saw Zak with his eyes and the Hand of Tsul-Kalu glowing. Jonah was about to make his next move til Ripjaws pounced on the mech and latched itself to the window.

"You wanna mess with a monster," Ripjaws spat, "Try me on for size."

Ripjaws then climbs around the mech to reach the eggs. Jonah tries to swing the mech's weapons toward Ripjaws to stop her, only for her to bite the weapon to pieces. She ripped the grip off of the eggs as Ripjaws tries to get them, but Jonah smacks her out of the way. The container broke as the eggs rolled toward the edge and was at the edge and nearly falling off due to the shaking with the Krakken and Deep Charge.

Max and Gwen were sneaking around the canary as the lackeys were grabbing better weapons. Max peers around the corner to see the Saturdays being on one side of the room with one of the lackeys standing guard.

"I hope that the Krakken chew you into a paste," Drew said

"Dear, please don't mess with the people who are holding the guns," Doc said.

Max then signals Gwen in various hand gestures. Gwen just looked confused.

"Was I supposed to get any of that?" Gwen asked.

Max just facepalmed.

Then one of the lackeys sees the Tennysons and signals the others to point their weapons at them.

Max quickly got in front of Gwen. "Okay buddies, we can either do this the easy way or the hard way." He said, cracking his knuckles. "What's it going to be?"

The lackeys just smirk as they get ready to fire, but the Krakken then breaks the floor which causes all of them to panic a bit.

"Go high!" Max ordered as there were fish hooks above them and the two jumped, using their weight to have the fish hooks slide across right as the Kraken broke the floor underneath him.

The lackeys fell down with the floor collapsing and making their weapons useless due to the water.

The other lackey that was guarding the Saturdays was coming out because of the commotion but was knocked out due to Max kicking the henchman's weapon and Gwen just kicking him.

They both landed near the Saturdays. "Is this the easy way or the hard way?" Gwen asked. Max shrugs as he goes to the Saturdays to untie them.

"Are you two all right?" Max asked.

"We've been better," Drew answered.

"Where's Jen, Zak, and Soul?" Doc asked urgently.

The Krakken roared as it answered Doc's question. "I can give you three guesses and the first two don't count," Gwen answered.

Zak was unable to keep the Krakken calm as she saw her eggs dropped into the lake. Both Ripjaws and Jonah were trying to rush toward the eggs, but the Krakken went wild and chased the offspring.

Deep Charge was unable to join in as he was still dealing with the lackeys who managed to find some heavy weaponry lying around the docks.

Why they weren't using it earlier he will never know.

Jonah, Ripjaws, and the Krakken got the eggs to fall into the lake, and all three of them went into the water.

Deep Charge was starting to get sick of these lackeys with their weapons and decided to pull off his secret move. The dermal spikes on his back start to glow blue with electricity coming off of them. He then releases balls of electricity out of his mouth and hits every lackey that was there.

He thankfully lowers the power output low to not kill any of them and just paralyze them instead. He then starts to dive into the water to help the others as his hood opens up his gills to breathe in the water.

Deep Charge then saw that Jonah paralyzed the Krakken with a sonar-like weapon on the mech's arm. He also saw Ripjaws trapped within the chains of some old anchors.

He knew he had to do something quickly. He starts charging up his dermal spikes as he does a spiral tackle toward Jonah.

"Those eggs are mine!" Jonah shouted as he got close to reaching them, but then one of his equipment started beeping to indicate there is a high-velocity object that is about to collide with him.

He turns around and sees what will probably haunt him for the rest of his life.

Deep Charge tackles through and breaks the mech with Jonah barely escaping the attack, but misses catching the eggs. Thankfully Ripjaws managed to get up from Jonah's trap and grabbed the eggs in her hands.

"Nice job, Deep Charge!" Ripjaws said. They both swim toward the nest as the Krakken, who is livid from the sonar blast and her eggs, tries to catch up with them.

They both managed to reach the nest as Ripjaws padded the eggs back to their rightful place. The Krakken saw this as she stopped her rampage.

Ripjaws and Deep Charge swam backward to indicate that they weren't going to harm the eggs. The Krakken then swam toward the eggs and curled next to them. It was then that they knew that the fish and the leviathan were her friends.

Unfortunately, the peace didn't last long as Jonah came up to them to try to steal or harm the eggs at this point. Deep Charge sighs, though how is the question since they were underwater, and flicks his tail to knock out Jonah.

The Krakken was about to swim up and chomp down Jonah, but Zak swam near to them and had her calm down with his powers.

"Well, all well that ends well," Ripjaws said as they were swimming to the surface, dragging Jonah in her arms.

"Nice team up there Jen," Zak said.

"Yeah, let's get back before a new problem arises-," Deep Charge was stopped as the Krakken was in their way with the tentacles surrounding…Deep Charge?

"Umm, what is it doing?" Ripjaws said.

"I don't know, the Krakken should have been passive with my powers," Zak said. "I don't know why it's interested in Soul." They look toward Deep Charge for answers.

"What, you think I can speak Krakken? Neme, I thought I was safe in this form," Deep Charge asked Neme since she chose this form.

"You are. I am not a hundred percent sure why…," Neme started to say till she realized what was going on. "Soul, I would recommend you go back to being human in this instance."

"What, why?" Deep Charge asked as the tentacles started to get a little too close to his liking.

"Well, you are not being perceived as food. You are being perceived as…," Neme mutters as she didn't want to panic Soul too much.

"Being perceived as what?" Deep Charge said as the Krakken pulled up near his face.

The look seems similar to hunger, but it seems… off…

"Just do as I say, and it will save you some trouble- too late," Neme stated. The tentacles then constrict around Soul and drag him back into her nest.

"What the-?! Let go of me!" Deep Charge struggled against the Krakken, but she refused to let go.

"What the-?! Deep Charge, hang in there!" Ripjaws yelled as she and Zak were chasing after them with Zak trying to use his powers.

"Come on, I prefer to not be stuck here!" Deep Charge struggles more as the Krakken starts to… cuddle him?

Oh…

Oh… Now he gets it…

OH HELL NO!

This realization only made Deep Charge struggle more, but the Krakken is somehow overpowering Soul in this and refused to let go.

"I think I prefer when you think of me as food!" Deep Charge shouted as he continued to struggle.

Ripjaws and Zak were going to help Deep Charge, but when they saw what was happening, they laughed.

"Wow, I guess the Krakken wants to be with you," Zak said as he struggles to concentrate on his powers.

"Man, you look ridiculous!" Ripjaws had no intention of stopping her laughs.

"HURRY IT UP OR I SHOCK THE BOTH OF YOU!" Deep Charge shouted. This broke them from laughing, and Zak concentrated on the Kraken loosening its grip on Deep Charge.

The Krakken managed to lose a bit of its grip, and Deep Charge swam up quickly to avoid the Krakken forever.

'Well, at least you weren't viewed as food,' Neme said through their mental link.

'Yeah, this isn't better…' Deep Charge thought.

The police managed to find Jonah and his crew, arresting them for a long time. The Tennysons and the Saturdays were back on the docks, watching the police taking care of them.

"Good riddance to bad rubbish," Max said.

"With Jonah and his men locked up, the Krakken should be less aggressive from now on," Doc said, turning to Max to shake his hand. "It was an honor working with you again, Max."

"It was nice to work with you again, Doc," Max said.

"Just call us if you need anything again," Drew said.

"We need to do this again!" Zak said, bumping his fist with Jen.

"Yeah, like a superhero team-up," Jen said excitedly. "With my alien transformation, your weird powers, and Soul's-!" She stopped to notice that Soul wasn't around. "Huh, where did Soul go?" Then all of them turned toward the Rust Bucket to see Soul poking his head above the counter.

"Can we leave right now?! I don't want the Krakken to chase after me right now!" Soul shrieks as he ducks down again as he thought he may have seen the Krakken in the water.

Everybody chuckles how Soul is scared of having the affection of the Krakken while Jen and Zak fist bumps again for the road.

Deep Charge (Piscciss Lagiacrus) This predator swims around the Pisccis planet and hunts for the Pisccus Volan. They can chase after them with their serpentine-like body, incredible speed, and the ability to use bio-electricity to shock their prey to death. They also tend to prey on the Piscciss Volan more often due to the lure they have. They can breathe either air or water due to how the Piscciss Volan can leave and hide in air pockets that exist around the planet. The Pisccis Lagiacrus also require these air pockets due to their eggs. Fortunately for the Piscciss Volan, this is when they are easier to hunt since there is a need for their hide and their dermal spikes that produce the bio-electricity. The dermal spikes are used for many reasons such as powers, weapons, or accessories. They are still deadly even on land and Piscciss Volans have died in these air pockets.

So the first unique predator is something I think is very recognizable to some communities (If the name didn't give it away). I figure that I make a few slight changes to the Lagiacrus to slightly fit into the world of Ben 10. If you are wondering if that is the last of that, absolutely not. I have other plans for not just MH, but in other series as well. If you want to leave a suggestion, sure. And don't worry, I have original predators that I have made for many of the aliens.

I also want to talk about the reviews that said that Upchuck doesn't have any predators. I want to argue that statement. The reason that Upchuck might not have any predators right now is that they did the Plan Omega on their first planet (Check the Omniverse for that.). The predators didn't evolve to breathe in space so they died off as the Upchucks moved to a different planet. The Upchucks never had any new predators as the old ones could not defend themselves as the Upchucks constantly ate their planet and moved. That's why I said that the Upchucks predator might be extinct, and that's what made the Upchucks become the top of the food chain. I mean they went through eleven planets so…

The only ones that I considered to not have predators are man-made or synthetic aliens such as Upgrade and Nanomech. They are synthetic by nature and will not have natural predators. They have weaknesses that other predators can exploit, but no true predator that exists for them.

Anyways, I'm sorry this chapter took forever, but I spent a lot of rework on this chapter as well as fixing many grammars the best I can. Don't forget to leave a review and all that.

Ciao!
