Hikaru's Saturday consisted of waking up early, having breakfast with her brother Satoru, and Lantis, then teaching her one Kendo class of the day before lunch. She planned to spend the rest of the day with Lantis, at least that's what she was hoping for until her brothers Masaru and Kakeru showed up out of the blue just after they had finished lunch. Hikaru's face lit up when they entered the room.

"Masaru! Kakeru! It's so good to see you!" Hikaru said excitedly. The two of them rushed over to her and got right up in her face.

"Where is he?!" Masaru and Kakeru said in unison. Hikaru blinked in confusion.

"Who? Satoru? He went to his room to do some reading." Masaru and Kakeru shook their heads.

"No the man that possibly could be your boyfriend." Said Masaru.

"Yeah, where is he?" Asked Kakeru. Hikaru put on a big smile, the boyfriend part not bothering her at all.

"Oh, you mean Lantis. He's in the kitchen cleaning dishes. He's been such a big help." Hikaru's smile had gotten even bigger. They quickly moved away from Hikaru and ran for the kitchen. They stood in the doorway getting a good look at Lantis, trying to size him up. Once Lantis was done putting the dishes away, he looked toward the unexpected visitors. Hikaru's brothers were glaring at him but all Lantis did was give them a small bow. Hikaru soon came up from behind them and got in between them.

"Lantis I'd like you to meet my brothers, Masaru and Kakeru. You two this is Lantis, he's visiting from another country." Before Lantis could say hello to them, Masaru spoke up.

"Are you in a relationship with our sister?" All Lantis did was nod at him. Hikaru pushed past them and stood next to Lantis putting her hand in his.

"Yup, Lantis is my boyfriend." Hikaru smiled big at her brother's while squeezing Lantis's hand. Hikaru's brothers glared even harder at Lantis, for which he paid no mind to them. "Masaru and Kakeru, why don't you both go to the table and I'll bring out some tea." Both her brothers left the kitchen without saying anything. "Sorry about them Lantis, their just protective of me."

"I understand Hikaru, they don't bother me."

"Okay good." Hikaru gave his hand one last squeeze and then began to make tea.

A Moment later everyone was sitting at the table drinking tea, even Hikaru's eldest brother had joined them. Hikaru seemed to be doing all the talking as her two brothers were too busy glaring at Lantis.

"So Masaru, Kakeru what have you been up to lately?" Suddenly Masaru stood up and pointed at Lantis, totally ignoring Hikaru's question.

"I won't allow you to date, my sister, until you beat all three of us in a sword fight." Kakeru stood up next.

"Yeah, he's right. You must fight us youngest to oldest." Kakeru said with his hands on his hips. Satoru sighed.

"Come on you two, this is silly." Said Hikaru. Lantis finished his cup of tea and then stood up.

"I accept your challenge," Lantis said in a serious voice. Hikaru stood and put a hand on Lantis's arm.

"You don't have to do this Lantis." Hikaru gave him a worried look. Lantis put a hand over hers and smiled at her warmly.

"Don't worry Hikaru. If this is the only way to prove to your family that I'm worthy of being with you, then I'll do it."

"Alright then, meet us in the dojo in fifteen minutes." Said Kakeru. Kakeru and Masaru turned around and marched off towards the dojo. Satoru stood up and bowed to Lantis, saying nothing as he walked towards the dojo. Hikaru moved away from Lantis and started picking up the dishes. Lantis went to help but Hikaru stopped him.

"I'll take care of the dishes, you should go get ready." Lantis nodded then moved away from the table and headed towards the dojo. "Try to go a little easy on them," Hikaru called out to him. Lantis didn't turn around, he just kept walking toward the dojo.

When Hikaru walked into the dojo Lantis and Masaru were standing across from each other holding kendo swords. Hikaru was surprised to see neither one of them dressed in the proper kendo garb. Hikaru walked over to her brother Satoru.

"Why aren't they wearing the proper gear?" Asked Hikaru. Before Satoru could answer Kakeru spoke up.

"If we're going to do this we're going to do it as if it were a real sword fight. That also means no rules, anything goes." Kakeru said, arms crossed and a smirk on his face.

"So how will we determine who wins?" Asked Hikaru.

"The first to knock the other down wins," Satoru answered her.

"Well, then good luck you two!" Hikaru said excitedly. They both turned to her. Masaru gave her a thumbs up, while Lantis smiled. The two then bowed to the others than to each other. They rose their kendo swords while Satoru put his arm in the air.

"BEGIN!" Yelled Satoru as he brought his arm swinging down. Masaru quickly came at Lantis, kendo sword high in the air. Lantis easily dodged it and ended up getting behind him. Lantis poked him on the back with the edge of his kendo sword. Masaru quickly turned around to strike Lantis but wasn't quick enough to stop Lantis's kendo sword from hitting him right in the gut making him fall to the ground. Masaru grunted when he hit the ground but was surprised to find that his mid-section didn't hurt. Hikaru started jumping up and down.

"Yea! Good job Lantis!" Lantis turned to her and smiled. Hikaru stopped her jumping and then looked at Masaru. "You did well too Masaru," Said Hikaru with a smile. Masaru grumbled under his breath as Lantis held out his hand for him to take. Masaru took Lantis's hand but didn't look at him.

"Lantis wins!" Said Satoru. Lantis and Masaru bowed to each other. Masaru walked away and stood next to Hikaru still grumbling under his breath. Kakeru picked up the Kendo sword that Masaru had dropped and stood across from Lantis.

"You won't beat me as easily," Kakeru smirked. Lantis didn't comment, only looked at him with a blank expression. Kakeru glared at him slightly. They bowed to the others than to each other. They raised their kendo swords as Satoru raised his arm.

"BEGIN!" Satoru swung his arm down but neither one moved to attack. They soon began circling each other, trying to find an opening. Hikaru had her hands clasped under her chin staring at them in anticipation. Once Kakeru saw an opening, he moved his kendo sword to strike hoping Lantis would block, and to his happiness Lantis delivered. When Lantis went to block Kakeru used one of his feet to swipe at Lantis's feet, making him stumble back. Kakeru took this opportunity to strike with his kendo sword going toward Lantis's midsection. Lantis quickly recovered and moved away from his blow. That's when Kakeru knew that Lantis pretended to stumble to catch him off guard, but Kakeru realized it too late, for Lantis quickly went on the attack using his kendo sword to hit multiple spots on his body. Suddenly Kakeru's body went stiff and he fell to the floor.

"Lantis wins!" Said Satoru. Hikaru begins jumping up and down cheering while Masaru staired with his mouth open. Lantis puts his kendo sword down on his side while looking down at Kakeru. About a minute later Kakeru sat up while groaning.

"How the hell did you do that?"

"I hit as many of your pressure points as I could. I made sure only to stun you though." Lantis held out his hand and Kakeru took it, standing up and rubbing the back of his head.

"Great job Kakeru!" Said Hikaru. Both men bowed to each other, then Kakeru picked up his kendo sword and walked over to Satoru handing it to him.

"Good luck Satoru, you're going to need it." Satoru nodded to him and walked over to Lantis standing a few feet away from him. Hikaru took over for Satoru. Both men bowed to the others than to each other and put their kendo swords up. Hikaru put her arm up in the air.

"BEGIN!" Hikaru swung her arm down but as soon as she did Satoru dropped his kendo sword and bowed deeply. Lantis lowered his sword and looked at him quizzically.

"Satoru what are you doing!" Yelled Kakeru. Satoru slowly came up from the bow and looked at Lantis.

"I don't need to dual Lantis to know he's good for Hikaru, I've seen it this past week. He's respectful and caring. Also, I know for a fact that he loves Hikaru very much." Lantis lowers his kendo sword to his side while smiling and nods at Satoru.

"Big brother," Hikaru says with tears in her eyes.

"Besides." Satoru turns to his brothers, "Hikaru is an adult, she is no longer a little girl, free to choose who she wants to be with." Kakeru and Masaru hang their heads in shame. Satoru turns back to Lantis and bows.

"Please take good care of my sister." Lantis bows back to Satoru deeply.

"I will, as she takes good care of me." As both men came back up Hikaru ran over and jumped on her brother, hugging him tightly.

"Thank you, big brother, Satoru! I love you." Satoru hugged Hikaru back while Lantis smiled at them warmly. Hikaru then turned to Kakeru and Masaru. "Get over here you two." They both looked up and quickly went to embrace them from both sides. While they were doing so Lantis picked up Satoru's kendo sword and put both of their swords away. When Lantis turned around to rejoin the others, Kakeru and Masaru were suddenly standing there.

"Hey, Lantis, tell us how you learned some of those killer moves." Said Masaru.

"Especially how you did that stunning thing, that was awesome!" Said Kakeru. Lantis nodded but didn't say anything as they began walking back to the main house since they just kept talking. Hikaru and Satoru smiled as they walked behind them.

Later that night Lantis was sitting on the porch overlooking the garden. Hikaru walked out looking at her cell phone.

"Fuu asks if we want to go to Tokyo Tower tomorrow, sounds like fun." Hikaru typed a quick reply as she sat next to Lantis and then put her phone in her pocket.

"Tokyo Tower?"

"Oh, I haven't shown it to you yet? Hm, You'll see it tomorrow, no point in trying to describe it. but it is where Princess Emeraude summoned us to Cephiro from." Hikaru said with a nostalgic look in her eyes.

"I see." Lantis grabbed one of her hands and gently squeezed it.

"Tokyo Tower is a special place for us, I'm glad that we can share it with you and Ferio." Hikaru squeezed his hand back. With the stars shining up above and a gentle breeze blowing they slipped into a comfortable silence. After a couple of moments, they turned to one another and softly kissed. The kiss was short but sweet and afterward, they put their foreheads together.

"I love you, Lantis."

"I love you too, Hikaru." They slowly pulled away. Still holding hands Hikaru put her head on Lantis's shoulder. They sat there enjoying the scenery and each other's company.

Author's note: So it's been a long time. Yup sorry. I have no excuses but I'm back now and won't make any promises about when the next chapter will come out. Anyways, I went back and fixed earlier chapters to the best of my ability, especially chapter 11. It was too wordy so I cut out some of the dialogs to hopefully make it flow better. Alright, hopefully, I did Hikaru and Lantis some justice.

Author's note #2 Just wanted to say that I got the idea for the sword fight from episode 1 of season 2 where Hikaru's brother's said that they would only let a guy date her if the guy could beat all three of them in a sword fight. Thought that would be funny, thus this chapter was born heh. Also it might be farfetched that Lantis knows how the stun a person using pressure points but hey you never know he could of learned in the years he hadn't seen Hikaru. :)
