Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Hair-Raising Adventures. Enjoy the 2000-word chapter. I don't own Gunvolt, Inti Creates and a few others do.

He was well aware of the fact that she watched him. She eyed him as much as a hawk would a piece of meat. It honestly surprised him to no end that there was little behind the reasoning. The more this became a problem? The more he seemed to regard his options. She honestly concerned him more with each passing second. Each little twist upon the rack concerned him.

Yet? He'd probably seemed at the second. He seemed to hand his options at the second. On one hand? He'd be well within his rights to throw her into the depths of space, it only made him question what he'd be if he did so.

On the other? He saw someone who deeply seemed to wish to befriend him. She cared enough about the people around her, he also noticed a dash of a kindred soul within her which told him that she had the heart to carry on when he didn't consider it.

"What brought you here, to begin with?" Solstice questioned as he started to walk back and forth. "There are dozens of people here who can handle this type of work, dozens of people who go to space often. I lose count of them. Sometimes?" Solstice stated before he tilted his head.

She glanced at him with eyes wider than dinner bells. It became obvious that she hadn't expected this sort of answer from him at the time, not at all. Still? Solstice could see that she was one of the strongest adapts he had met. Her power would probably only grow given time and effort. No doubt a fact of the matter given the scale of her abilities.

"You came here for me, no?" Solstice questioned as he leaned against the wall and clicked his fingers together. "That's a lot more interesting than I expected. I didn't think anyone would find me here. Not at all, not when it comes to finding me." Solstice said as Desna perched in her locks of golden hair.

She stared at him with a raised eyebrow as he smiled and seemed to tilt his head at her. She hummed and glanced around the area as he shrugged at her and seemed to wait for a better answer.

He crossed his armored arms around his chest. It didn't take long for him to wait and consider his options before he clicked his teeth against the roof of his mouth.

"I was sent here to find something; you seem to be it. I had visions about someone important when it comes to it." Desna stated to which he blinked. "You are constantly in my memories despite anything I do. If you are that peaceful and interesting? Then surely it means something. You are the true prophet compared to the one I had served." Desna stated which made him hum to himself.

"I am no prophet, nor am I someone who wishes to be served," Desna stated before he shook his head. "That will change sooner or later. It will all fall apart." Desna heard as she watched at the moment.

There were a few more plans in his head, a few more ideas that he had yet to fully fathom. Still? There was no reason for Solstice at the moment to fight her or need to press her more than anything.

He was honestly thinking about what to think next. He flapped his wings as he rubbed at the edge of his wings. He realized that more people had been involved at the second.

He was honestly well aware of what to do next. It had been hard when it came down to it to blame her for something that hadn't been entirely her fault. If he had any problems with her? He'd deal with them as clearly as possible.

"Not everyone is an enemy that needs to be killed." Solstice said before he took a seat on the ground. "You said you were sent here because of me? What do you mean? I made no signals, no attempt to lure anyone here. It was not some horrid message that slipped the chains. I dearly hadn't sent any message." Solstice stated as he sighed and seemed to only glance at her to make certain his message had been properly relayed to her.

It seemed as if she had indeed noticed this. Good, he did not quarrel with her, no further desire to fight her for any reason unless he was pressed to. She hadn't bothered him, nor did she present any real danger to him.

"You came here for something from someone, no? Something important which couldn't be replaced easily?" Solstice questioned as Desna hummed. "There is no right or wrong answer. I'm not going to fight you; I've had my fill of trying to face people without a good reason or cause to hate them." Solstice stated before he crossed his arms across his chest.

She simply nodded as he glanced at her before he seemed to glance around and spread his wings. It was clear she wasn't a threat. Not a big one anyway, nor one he'd need to expend massive amounts of energy to defeat. He simply nodded to himself as he decided to tell her what could have done so.

"Whatever brought you here was either me trying to find a way to go back to Earth…." Solstice stated while waving a hand at the room around him. "Or it's me, either way? I'm simply trying to leave. There's nothing here for me anymore nor is there any real reason for me to remain hiding in the dark like a rat. I am not a monster, nor will I remain trapped her like one." Solstice stated as he turned and glanced around with annoyance written on her face.

Still? He had been given a reason to try and protect her, something worth fighting for when it came down to it. She had been a warrior who had been through so much. That was clear, what wasn't clear was the fact of why she had come, what had brought her to his doorstep at this juncture. A small flaw in her problems was how she seemed to constantly be falling apart in front of him. This had been a problem he wished to nip in the bud at the second. A problem he didn't expect to fully handle at the second. It seemed as if he had been honestly a little interesting.

There were a lot more people than her that interested him, though. A lot more problems had to be brought to heel before this was done. This had been enlightening, but there was a lot more to do before it seemed. Desna glanced at him like an animal who had been waiting for instructions. This had been rather enlightening.

"What was going to happen if you stayed where you were? You'd end up dying?" Solstice stated before he seemed to tilt his head. "I feel like people would be… Dying, they'd be dying, no?" Solstice questioned to which there was a nod.

It seemed as if there was to be more on this topic than he had been told beforehand. That was truly interesting to him at the second, truly an honest thing. A thing of beauty that would happen at the time. It was nice.

Still? If there was something to be on the time. he was honestly hoping to see that she had been curious at the time. There was a lot more on the line if he didn't tell her anything. He was going to snap; Solstice was a warrior at the time.

He also rubbed at his temples while he sighed to himself. He was going to be interested in this. The more that he was going to be hopeful that there was more on the second.

Solstice floated into the sky. He was going to snap if something else went wrong and he sighed as of the time. he was not going to let this happen as of the second when it comes down to it.

Still? He was going to be accepting of her as of the second. He sighed and rubbed at his temples before spreading the metallic wings which doubled as thrusters built into his armor.

"If this is going to happen? Then I want you to know that I'm going to hold you as an intruder the second you do something I don't enjoy." Solstice stated before he sighed and aimed a finger at her.

This was going to be interesting to him. He wanted to snap, cut into those who threatened this place. It was going to be interesting, he trusted her to a degree. This was going to be insane at the time.

Still? He was going to be curious at the time. He'd snap sooner or later. This was going to be hopeful. It'd be interesting to see how this came down to it. He'd honestly scream as of the second as of the time.

He rubbed at his head and flew across the area while he sighed to himself, looking at her before he looked at her.

There was a second of time that needed to be, a second that he'd devote to the friend who had been going to either be the death of him or something crazier. He'd not regret this, not once.

'I don't want to see her become a monster, someone who is going to suffer, she's not a threat. Not in my book at the time.' Solstice stated before he sighed at the time.

Yes. There were a few many problems that had been coming at the time. if she wanted to be a threat to him? The threat that couldn't be ignored? He was going to be interested in this.

She was a threat, one who couldn't be stopped easily. He didn't want to be on the edge, but he had to stop her at the time.

Desna followed after him, her tendrils pulling him across every single inch of the station. She was fast, maybe as fast as him. He wondered what she could do if it came down to a fight to it.

Well? If that was the case? He'd fight her more and more to try and stop her. There was a lot more on the line, a LOT more than he could bare to witness.

Desna landed in front of him. He sighed before he sighed to himself as he landed on a ledge. She glanced at him, her hair pulling into his armor.

He clicked his fingers together and looked at her, crossing his arms across his chest. He rubbed at his arms while he hummed to himself.

He rolled his eyes at her before he slowly marched past her.

"Are you so mistrustful of me you consider me a threat to everything you've built and will build?" Desna questioned before Solstice fell silent. "There will be a lot more problems if we don't get this out of the way one way or another. We both know that. I don't intend to be a weapon, not without a good reason to be when it comes down to it." Desna stated before he sighed to himself as he rolled his eyes.

He was honestly hopeful as of the second. He was tilting his head before he rolled his head.

"We're not going anywhere soon," Desna stated as of the second before the time.
