The second that dinner was over the group came barrelling into the infirmary. "They are this way!" One of the twins spoke. They led the group over to the private room Hadrian and Neville were currently in. "Master!" Both twins spoke at once. They rushed over to sit on the bed with Hadrian in between the pair.
Daphne rushed forward dragging Blaise with her, she maneuvered both of them onto Neville's lap. "Oh Nevilleā¦I'm sorry." She sighed before looking towards Blaise who nodded towards Neville's direction. "Potter is the one who sent the piece to me." She whispered out.
"Huh?" Neville questioned before his mind picked up what she said and his eyes widened, "Why the hell didn't you tell me you sent it Ian?!" He questioned the other boy in surprise.
"Sent what?" Hadrian fired back before looking at the bracelet that Daphne was wearing, "Ohhh! That! Yea I sent it and she needed to be the one to tell you herself. You already know the implications of that piece. Now you can fill her in on everything. Blaise too Neville. Better make sure you collar him soon as well." He yawned before laying down, pulling the twins down on either side of him and falling asleep.
Neville chuckled and shook his head, "That fool..but at least I have permission to fill you both in on everything. Including how Hadrian was fatally wounded back in our actual timeline and now his mind and soul is back here in the past while his body is healing and repairing itself." He chuckled seeing their shocked looks then grew worried when they both winced and gripped their heads, "Madam Pomfrey!" He shouted out the cracked door he just opened.
"What is it Mr. Longbottom?" She questioned clear as day as she walked into the room. "Oh dear, hang on dears." She murmured out bustling from the room for a couple pain relief potions. Bustling back in, she handed the potions to both Daphne and Blaise, "Bottoms Up!" taking the empty vials as they drank them she left the room again.
"Thank you, Madam." He murmured out standing up to guide Blaise and Daphne over to the second bed he had them lay down so he could secure the room. He sighed as they both fell asleep with their faces still screwed up in pain.
"I had a feeling that would happen." Hadrian murmured out startling Neville who jumped slightly.
"Don't do that!" Neville hissed out. He sighed seeing the sleepy green eyes looking at him, "Had a feeling what would happen?" He questioned feeling like he was going to regret asking this question.
"They are going to remember Neville." Hadrian told his guard.
"Oh god, they didn't get attacked while I was asleep did they?" He all but demanded. It doesn't feel like an attack happened.
Hadrian sighed softly, "No. But they will be joining us as their current forms fall asleep from now on." He explained quietly. Frowning slightly, "There will be slight differences because back in our time Daphne never did tell you where she got that piece from. So keep in mind about that, along with any and all fights may change also." He yawned again. "It's time for the tests next and then the school year will be over."
"Go to sleep Hadrian. I'm going to seal the room and sleep, myself." Neville told his Liege Lord. He moved to the door and closed it before using a variety of different runes that not only locked the door but sealed the room completely. Waiting until Hadrian fell asleep before he turned towards the bed that was his and shrugged his shoulders. He decided to kick off his shoes before climbing into the bed laying on his back with both arms wrapped around Blaise and Daphne completely. He nodded off and finally fell into Morpheus's arms.
The group spent a grand total of two days in the infirmary under the direct care of Madam Pomfrey. Professor Snape dropped by within that timeframe and brought in their missing work, "Have that completed before the tests start in two days!" he all but demanded. Which both boys did, after all it's simple work and very easy for them to complete. It was a happy group of friends that walked into the Great Hall for dinner.
The Great Hall fell into a hush as the group walked in, "Godfather did warn us about this." Hadrian pointed out before shrugging and leading the group towards the Hufflepuff table.
"Any reason for the change in seating Ian?" Neville questioned, "Not that I'm complaining or anything. I'm only curious." he hastened to reassure.
"Hahaha.." Hadrian chuckled, "It's fine Nev. I just figured we could all sit at neutral territory for a change and not have to deal with the prying of the Gryffindor Table or the snobbery of the Slytherin Table." He explained his reasoning before looking towards the Hufflepuffs, "That's ok isn't it?" He sent the question to the table at large who all smiled and welcomed the group in full.
They all sat down and began to introduce themselves correctly, the consensus of the table was whether the pair of them were ok after being attacked by a teacher. Neville smiled towards the Puff's around them and at the table, "Yes. We are both fine and healed up. Hadrian only has a small mark from where the teacher decided to choke him, but Madam Pomfrey says that should be healed up within the next day or two with no marks." he reassured the table at large.
"That's good to hear, do either of you need help studying for the tests? What about your missing work?" An older student questioned down the table, she was wearing a prefect badge.
"Professor Snape has already provided us with our missing work, with which we have completed just before leaving the infirmary. We were planning on turning them in tomorrow, however we wouldn't say no to some studying Ms.?" Hadrian left off neutrally but tilted his head in her direction.
"Oh! I'm terribly sorry! Where are my manners! My name is Constance Pickering. You'll have to excuse my hair, I loathe the blond myself." She chuckled fully intending on changing it to black after she graduates.
Hadrian chuckled, "Well Ms. Pickering it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Are you available to set up a small study session tomorrow morning?" He questioned with a slight smile on his face.
"Oh! Yes of course! Let's meet in the library. Say.." She trailed off in thought, "Does after Breakfast work for you guys?" She questioned out.
Hadrian glanced at everyone from his group and seeing the nods all around he turned back to face the prefect, "That sounds great, Ms. Pickering." The next few days were a whirl of activity between the study sessions with Ms. Pickering to the end of year exams. Before everyone knew it they were all seated at their house tables for the End of Year Feast.
As the group made their way onto the train the next day they all sat together in one compartment, "I just hope we can get off the station without any problems." Hadrian murmured out. He was looking out the window with the twins finding comfort sitting at his feet.
"The only thing I can see being a problem is Mrs. Weasley. Remember she isn't happy about you claiming the twins." Daphne pointed out calmly. "Speaking of which, why aren't they in our timeline yet?"
"They aren't there because me claiming them is one change that Luna herself has caused." Hadrian pointed out calmly. Stupid annoying redheaded Matriarch better not stand in our way when we leave!
"Luna did? How intriguing." Daphne murmured out calmly. She turned to Neville, "In two weeks me and Blaise will be joining you two. I'll even swing by and grab the twins as well. Anything longer than that I'm not sure what will happen. But you better get a collar for Blaise and soon Neville Longbottom!" She hissed out at the end towards her betrothed.
He held his hands up in surrender, "Don't worry Daph, I'll be going and picking one up as soon as we arrive at the station. My Grandmother has already been made aware of everything. She has become excited and can't wait for you both to join us this summer break."
"Good." Daphne nodded before the group fell silent as the train pulled into the station. The group decided to wait until most of the riders disembarked from the train first before pulling the trunks down and shrinking them. Pocketting their trunks the group made their way off the train not completely prepared for what was to come.
"You freaks!" an angry shrill voice hissed out in outrage. "How dare you take something that wasn't yours to begin with!' she continued.
"Are you quite done Mrs. Weasley?" Hadrian questioned out his fury palapal to the magically inclined.
"No! I am not done at all! You two have been disowned from the family line so I say it so mote it be!" She hissed out in abject fury. The rest of the family bar her two youngest were aghast at what their mother was proposing.
"Molly Weasley!" A voice boomed out. Everyone turned to the Weasley Patriarch. "I am the Lord of this family and as such only I can disown members!" He warned her, "If you keep this up I will have to disown you from the family line!" he continued, shutting his wife up in the process.
"I thank you Lord Weasley, my twins were worried what was to become of them." Hadrian murmured out politely.
"None of that now." Lord Weasley waved off the gratitude, "Am I right to assume that they will be living with you from now on?" he questioned in concern.
"That is what I was planning on, the choice seems to have calmed them down since I said as such back at the bank." Hadrian agreed.
"Then I shall leave you lot to it then." Lord Weasley stated out in relief. He began to usher his family out of King's Cross and home for a much needed Family Meeting to fix matters at hand.
Hadrian turned towards Neville, "I'll see you tomorrow in Japan, yes?" he questioned out softly.
"Of course! I'll see you then!" Neville agreed before leaving the station himself with Daphne and Blaise trailing behind.
"Let's spend today and find a place. Ideally I'd like a place to own instead of rent." Hadrian told the twins before leading them out of the station and towards a new beginning.
